Chapter 6:
The girls returned to the temple, arms covered in shopping bags,
"Looks like you ladies had fun." Kai commented,
"It turns out, Lilly has amazing fashion taste." Skylor stated,
"Well, I've never had to put together outfits before." Lilly admitted,
"We've got to get you out more." Nya stated,
"I'd like that." Lilly muttered. The girls put their shopping in their rooms. Lloyd knocked on Lilly's open door,
"Sup?" Lilly asked,
"Did you get my little gift?" Lloyd asked,
"Yeah. Thanks." Lilly replied,
"No probs. Hey, meet me in the training room in 10." Lloyd instructed,
"K." Lilly replied.
10 minuets later, Lilly walked into the training room, in her GI, with Lloyd and Wu already there,
"So. What's going down?" Lilly asked,
"Since you are now grown, you have more power you need to control." Wu explained,
"Oh. Right. Is it bad I forgot about my power?" Lilly admitted,
"That's because you were happy." Wu explained. The 3 trained, with letting Lloyd take over more, when the alarm went off. The 3 ran into the control room,
"What's going on?" Lloyd asked,
"Sons of Garmadon are causing trouble." Nya explained,
"Sons of Garmadon?" Lilly asked,
"Harumi." Lloyd explained,
"Oh. The Stupid One." Lilly stated,
"Nice." Jay laughed,
"Well she is." Lilly replied. Lloyd rolled his eyes with a chuckle, "What? You can't deny it." Lilly stated,
"Like Jay, you need to learn when it's time for jokes." Lloyd stated,
"I do know when to joke. Who do you take me for?" Lilly asked,
"So what they doing?" Lloyd asked,
"Making a mess." Nya explained as she projected footage of the SOG destroying the city,
"Come on. Sis, I'll teach you on the go." Lloyd stated,
"I'm good with that." Lilly replied as she chased after her brother.
The ninjas landed in the city,
"Hello ninjas." Harumi cooed,
"Hey Stupid One!" Lilly shot,
"It's The Quiet One!" Harumi snapped,
"That's what I said. The Stupid One." Lilly replied,
"Sis. You've been hanging out with Jay too much." Lloyd sighed,
"You can't talk. You've known him longer than me." Lilly shot,
"You know it's cute calling me names but I wouldn't if I were you." Harumi spoke,
"But you're not me. I'm not some psycho who dreams of bring back the evil side of a dead person to kill his son." Lilly replied,
"Indeed but I know more about you than you do?" Harumi sneered. Lilly looked over at her brother who shrugged,
"Stalker?" Lilly stated,
"We'll see." Harumi sneered as she snapped her finger. Killow appeared with a purple and black mask with red decorations. The SOG soon attacked the ninjas as the ninjas fought them off until Killow had Lilly in his grasp,
"LILLY!" Lloyd called as Ultra Violet walked over to Lilly with the mask and before Lloyd could reach them, Ultra Violet had shoved the mask on Lilly's head. The red started to glow as Killow released Lilly, "Lilly?" Lloyd whispered as Lilly's head snapped over in his direction and her hands started to glow a black flame. Lloyd was taken by surprise as Lilly's foot collided with Lloyd's face,
"Lloyd!" Kai called as he bolted to his boyfriend, "What's going on?" Kai asked,
"The mask. They put it on Lilly and I think it's controlling her." Lloyd explained,
"Then let's get the mask." Kai stated and before Lloyd could stop him, Kai ran towards Lilly to be sent flying back,
"Get the green one." Harumi instructed. Lilly looked at Lloyd as she made her way towards him, anything in her way either before destroyed or thrown to the side. Lloyd didn't know what to do until Lilly grabbed his arm. Lloyd quickly kicked the mask and it managed to fly off. Lilly blink a few times before becoming shaky and collapsing in Lloyd's arms. Lloyd looked back up to see the SOG gone, along with the mask.
Later, Lilly awoke in the medical room, sitting up, bring her knees to chest as she held her head in her hands as Kai walked in,
"Good you're up." Kai stated,
"What happened to me?" Lilly asked,
"What do you remember?" Kai asked,
"All I remember is going to the fight, getting trapped by the big guy and the chick shoving a mask on my head before something pushed everything into darkness. Other than that, nothing." Lilly explained. Kai nodded, "What happened? Where's Lloyd?" Lilly asked, starting to panic,
"Zane's just checking him over as they try to figure out something. It's important you don't panic. If you remember anything else, tell someone immediately. Do you need anything?" Kai explained,
"Something to get rid of this headache." Lilly requested. Kai grabbed Lilly some pain killers and water and Lilly knocked them back, "Do you know if Lloyd's gonna be long?" Lilly asked,
"You're really dependent of him aren't you?" Kai commented,
"Please don't hold that to me. He's just the only thing that's been the same throughout life. Plus I hate to admit it but he knows more so he can help me and…yeah. In the end it's pathetic." Lilly explained,
"How's it pathetic?" Kai asked,
"How isn't it? All my life I've had to be dependent on someone else and even after I've been separated from him for years now, I'm still dependent on him." Lilly explained. Kai placed a hand on Lilly as she looked up,
"It's not pathetic. It's ok to be dependent on someone else. It's how we are. Yeah some are more than others, but in the end, it shows how much you love someone. Plus, not to add its classic younger sibling behaviour." Kai explained. Lilly smiled at Kai as Lloyd poked his head in,
"Lloyd!" Lilly chirped as Lloyd hugged her,
"Are you ok?" Lloyd asked,
"I'm fine. What about you? Kai told me Zane had to check you over." Lilly asked,
"You don't have to worry about me." Lloyd reassured, "Did you do the checks?" Lloyd asked Kai,
"Doesn't remember anything from getting the mask shoved on to when she woke up." Kai explained,
"Is that a good thing?" Lloyd asked,
"I guess we'll find out." Kai replied.
Later, Lilly was in the training room, attacking a punching bag when Cole walked in,
"Hey." Cole stated. Lilly whipped around,
"Hey." Lilly replied,
"Are you ok?" Cole asked,
"Yeah, just trying to get used to this 'suddenly a grown up' thing." Lilly explained,
"Lloyd was the same. Anyway. Do you really know how to fight?" Cole asked,
"I don't know. I can but I don't know how. Lloyd's more concerned about teaching me how to use my powers 1st." Lilly explained,
"I can teach you to fight if you want?" Cole offered,
"Please." Lilly replied,
"Ok. How far do you need to go back?" Cole asked,
"Say about from the beginning to be safe." Lilly replied and with a nod from Cole, they begun to train.
Meanwhile, Lloyd was in his room, reading Wu's journals as he walked in,
"Hello Lloyd." Wu stated,
"Hi Master. I hope you don't mind." Lloyd stated as Wu saw his journal,
"I don't. I see that's how you've been able to train the others." Wu stated,
"Yeah. I've been trying to find something on Lilly's powers." Lloyd explained,
"Can't guarantee you finding an exact answer but maybe you'll find something you can use." Wu stated as he walked out,
'Just got back and is already using encrypted messages. That's Uncle alright.' Lloyd thought as Kai walked in,
"Any luck?" Kai asked,
"No. You just missed Uncle. He said I wouldn't find an exact answer but could use other info to help Lilly." Lloyd explained,
"Maybe I can help." Kai offered,
"I thought you hate Lilly." Lloyd smirked,
"Eh. Sometimes she can be cool." Kai stated as he sat next to Lloyd, "And I wanted to spend time with you." Kai added as he wrapped his arm around Lloyd as Lloyd blushed, "Have you found anything yet?" Kai asked,
"*Sigh* No. Nothing yet, but I'll find something." Lloyd stated,
"I'm sure you will." Kai replied as he pecked Lloyd on the cheek.
Back in the training room, Lilly was picking up the fighting styles fast,
"How you picking this up so fast?" Cole asked,
"Living on the streets for a couple of years, you need to learn new skills fast." Lilly explained,
"Makes sense." Cole replied. Cole then saw trouble in Lilly's eyes, "Is something else wrong?" Cole asked,
"What do you mean?" Lilly asked,
"Something else is troubling you." Cole stated. Lilly grabbed her arm as she looked away,
"Nothing's wrong." Lilly replied,
"Are you sure because something's wrong." Cole stated. Lilly looked to the floor as she took a deep breath,
"I'm still so confused." Lilly stated,
"About what?" Cole asked,
"Everything!" Lilly exclaimed as she looked at Cole before dropping to the floor. Cole sat in front of her and placed a hand on her shoulder,
"That's ok. I'll take a while. You just need to be patient and you'll figure it out." Cole reassured. Lilly looked up at Cole, tears lining her eyes,
"Why are you so easy to talk to?" Lilly asked,
"I don't know. Why do you think that?" Cole smiled. Lilly giggled.
Later that night, Lilly was in the girls' room with Pixal and Nya,
"So I heard you and Cole talking earlier. Sounds like you 2 are getting along." Nya stated,
"Yeah I guess." Lilly replied,
"What do you mean by 'I guess'?" Pixal asked,
"In there, I dunno, he made feel all jittery and stuff." Lilly explained,
"Does this happen all the time?" Nya asked,
"Started not long ago. Why?" Lilly asked. Nya looked at Pixal,
"Looks like someone has a crush." Nya sang,
"What? Me? Crush? No way in a million years would I, Lilly Garmadon, have a crush!" Lilly exclaimed. Nya and Pixal sat silent for a moment before bursting out with laughter,
"Denial!" Pixal exclaimed,
"Lilly has a crush." Nya sang,
"Shut up!" Lilly stated as her face turned bright red.
