Altina scanned the silver king piece with her gun-like scanner. After a beep, Millium checked the laptop.

"As expected," Millium said in a passive tone. She held her chin as she read the data on the screen. "The artifact is absorbing mana from the environment at an exponential rate."

"Y-You're taking this rather well, Allie," Musse said from behind her.

"It is an unfortunate occurrence. But, as you non-spies say, there is no point in crying over spilt milk."

"Are you okay… Millium?" Juna asked Altina.

Altina was walking around, swaying her head. She has a frown on her face.

"Feels weird," Altina said. "It feels like my head weighs a curim."

Juna scrunched her brows. She went behind Altina, grabbed all of her hair into a tail and raised it up.

"How do you feel?" Juna asked.

"Much better!" Altina said, grinning.

Musse backed away, not ready to see Altina smiling like this.

"Your hair must be weighing you down," Juna guessed, putting down her hair. She looked at Musse. "Juna, do you have a spare hairband?"

"Musse, do you think that is wise?" Millium asked. "Our classmates might notice."

"It's fine if it's today," Musse assured as she checked her pockets. "We'll tell them that, ah, we want to make you look cute today."

Musse does not appear to have any hairbands on her persons. However, she does have a black handkerchief. It is decorated with gold thread. Musse went up to Altina and used the handkerchief to tie her white hair into a ponytail.

"Done!" Musse said, clapping her hands.

"Well?" Altina asked. She twirled around with her ponytail. "How do I look?" She gave them a V-sign and grinned.

"You are an embarrassment," Millium said.

"You look like Lady Arseid, only as a child with white hair," Juna said.

"I don't know much about this switcheroo stuff," Altina said, "but hey! At least I haven't exploded yet!"

"Well, what do we do now?" Musse asked. "We got four people who needs switching back."

Juna sighed, holding her temple.

"For now, we have to take Millium with us to class," she said. "We have no choice on this matter. Is that okay with you Millium?"

"It's kinda unfair," Altina said, scratching her cheek. "I've already graduated and I know most of the subjects. Buuuut…" She grinned. "I get to be on Rean's class again! Yay!"

"Millium," Millium said, glaring at Altina. "I expect you to behave in there."

"Don't worry, Tilly! This ain't my first rodeo, you know?" Altina gave Millium a thumbs-up.

Millium groaned.

"We should at least scan our bodies first before we part ways," she said, raising her scanner.

"Guys!" Musse said as she looked at her ARCUS. "It's almost time for class!"

"Aidios, have mercy," Juna prayed aloud. She looked at Millium. "You okay by yourself, Altina?"

"Yes," Milliums said. "I shall do some research on the meantime. You three can go ahead. And Millium…" She glared at Altina. "Behave."

"You got it, Tilly!" Altina said. "Come on, guys! Race ya there!"

Altina started running away.

"Hey, wait!" Musse said, chasing her.

"Send an orb-mail if you find anything," Juna said to Millium before following the two.

When all three of them are gone, Millium sighed.

"I better get to work, then," she said to herself. She raised her hand to the sky. "Claiomh Solais!"

Silence. Millium turned all around, confused that her faithful companion is not appearing.

"Claiomh Solais!" she heeded again. After a few seconds, she thought of another idea. "Airgetlam!"

Silence.

"Lammy?"

Nothing.

"This is a problem."

The door to the classroom was slammed open and all three girls burst in.

"Whoa, where's the fire?" Ash asked and laughed.

"You three were almost late," Kurt said as he put down his textbook. "Count your blessings that Instructor Irving is not here yet."

"Huh?" Musse said and then looked at the teacher's desk at the front of the room.

It was empty.

"That's weird," Juna said.

First period today is math. Instructor Irving, a man who always takes his job seriously wherever he may go, usually arrives fifteen minutes early. It puts a lot of pressure to the students who arrived later than he is. Juna and Musse have a hard time deciding if they should be relieved or worried.

"Hey, where do I sit?" Altina asked Musse.

"Right next to Kurt," Musse replied. "This way—wait."

She forgot. Musse always sits next to Ash. She sighed and faced Juna.

"I'll take care of everything," Juna assured her. Juna always sits next to Kurt. "Come on… Altina. This way."

Juna showed Altina her seat before leaving her. The little girl faced Kurt and smiled, stunning him with fear.

"Hiya!" Altina greeted. She immediately covered her mouth. "I mean… Salutations." She gave Kurt a crisp salute with a very serious face.

"J-Juna?" Kurt whispered at the girl sitting next to her. "Something's is very, very wrong with Altina. Do you think she's sick?"

He knew something changed with Altina, and it is not her new ponytail.

"Oh, ho ho!" Juna said. "Kurt, she is, uh… only practicing on broadening her emotions. I suggested this to her this morning…"

Once she realized she has nothing more to say, she smiled at him. Kurt scooted away from her.

That's not how she usually smiles.

Ash saw this exchange. The boy normally sees the humor in things, no matter how insignificant, weird or grim, but even he knew that something is very wrong with the picture in front of him.

"You seeing this, green locks?" Ash asked to the girl next to him.

"That she took my seat," Musse grumbled. Her eyes widened. "I-I mean, it looks perfectly normal!" She nervously laughed at Ash.

The boy raised an eyebrow.

"You, uh… missed your medication or something?" he asked.

"You see…" Musse struggled to say. "In spite of everything… If you can see the sum of its parts… I need to study." She grabbed a textbook and cracked it open. "Study-study-study…"

Ash scooted away from her, because this is the first time he ever saw her study.

"Hey, your name is Kurt, right?" Altina asked, if only a little too loudly.

Kurt looked at the little girl with wide eyes.

"Altina. We've been classmates for three months now," Kurt said.

Altina froze and realized her mistake. "W-Well, I just want to make sure!"

Kurt blinked. "…Make sure that I'm Kurt?"

"Forget it!" Altina said, waving her hands, which made Kurt even more afraid of her. "You know, I read your file a month ago."

"I-I have a file?" He was sweating.

"Yeah! We got a file for everybody in this room. Wait a moment." She brought her ARCUS and started texting. "You want to see one? I can take requests."

Kurt furiously shook his head. "I-I don't want to."

"Oh, come on!" Altina elbowed him. "I always read some Division files if I want a good laugh. It's pure comedy! You'll enjoy it!" She giggled.

Kurt leaned back. "No, thank you."

"Please stop teasing Kurt, Altina," Juna said from the other side.

She was about to tell Kurt to ignore her words, but then she found an opportunity. She looked behind her and saw Musse was busy looking busy with her nose on the textbook. Juna slowly smiled.

I need to set the wheel in motion somehow.

"Kurt," Juna said in a soft tone. "Do you remember what happened this morning?"

Kurt looked at her and immediately looked away in order to hide his blush.

"Oh, that," Kurt said. "I must apologize for intruding you."

Juna giggled and slowly slid closer to him. "I wasn't naked, if that's what you're thinking."

Kurt sighed in relief, still facing away. "Oh, thank goodness." He then shook his head. "I-I mean, that's not what I'm thinking."

"What were you thinking then?"

Kurt gulped. "I was thinking… that since you were screaming, I thought I should help you. I was worried about you."

Juna giggled. "You were worried about me?"

He turned his head to her. "I didn't mean…"

Their bodies were not touching, but Juna's hip was a rege apart from Kurt's. She was leaning forward; her face near his shoulder. Kurt blinked as he could almost feel her body heat. Or at least he is imagining it.

At the edge of her periphery, Juna could see Musse dropping her textbook.

'Don't do it!' Musse's face screamed.

Juna winked at her before devoting her attention back to Kurt.

"Kurt?" Juna said.

"…I need to catch up with my studies," Kurt replied, raising his textbook so that he could hide his face behind it.

Juna slammed the book down table. To Kurt, it was like a gunshot.

Ash whistled. "Is she going to…?" Ash mumbled, smiling.

Musse was trying her hardest not to tackle Juna.

Kurt slowly turned his head to her. "Juna?" Kurt said.

Juna leaned forward, like a tiger smelling its prey.

"I was wondering, Mr. Vander," she said as her chest lightly brushed against his shoulder. Kurt was reddening so fast, his classmates think he might explode. "What's your favorite color."

"Um…" Kurt said, sliding back.

"Watch it, lover boy," Altina said as Kurt bumped into her.

Kurt mumbled an apology and turned his head forward. If he looked at Juna another second more, he might figuratively and literally collapse.

"Red, as in crimson red," he finally said. "And royal purple. I can't choose between the two."

"Hmmm…?" Juna hummed.

She had not moved a rege, but Kurt felt like she was about to press her cheek against his. Juna giggled and slid back to her original position. Kurt sighed in relief. She wanted to tease him more, but it seems like Juna attracted an audience.

A quarter of the students were gawking at the two as they could not believe Juna would openly flirt with Kurt, or flirt at all. She is known to be as subtle as a chainsaw. Behind Juna, Ash was covering his mouth and holding back his laughter. Musse wanted to snap Juna's neck, even if it is her own body in the first place.

Altina was writing something on her notepad.

Footnotes, Millium thought while giggling.

"Maybe it's time I should update my collection," Juna said as she inspected her nails. She breathed in, and then exhaled. "I don't want to embarrass myself if visitors are coming so early in the morning."

Kurt accidentally looked to the side and saw Juna pulling her collar, as if the room was hot. His head snapped forward. He was sweating profusely.

She meant clothes, right? She couldn't be talking her under— Kurt furiously shook his head. No, she's talking about clothes! Clothes!

Juna giggled and leaned to Kurt again. She was about to ask him out to Lapin Boutique and help her choose, but the door suddenly opened.

"Sorry I'm late," Instructor Irving said as he placed his papers on the table. "We had an emergency meeting. Nothing to worry about."

He is two minutes early, however.

Irving brought out a handkerchief and swabbed it against his sweating forehead. He stopped when he saw the usually calm Kurt reddening. His cheeks look like they were repeatedly slapped. He shrugged and opened his notes. Everyone is already here, so he might as well start the lesson for today.

Millium placed the titanium box in the middle of Principal Le Guin's Desk. Aurelia blinked and stared at the black box.

"Is that it?" she asked Millium.

The little girl nodded. Rean, who is beside Aurelia, felt very uncomfortable seeing Millium this emotionless. They were already briefed by Major Lechter through a private channel, but knowing Millium and Lechter, Rean half-thought he is in some elaborate prank. How is it possible that Millium and Altina switched bodies?

"Sh-Should we open it?" Instructor Towa nervously asked. Her teeth were chattering and she was holding the clipboard like it was a lifeline.

"Screw that!" Instructor Randolph said. He punched his palm. "I saw we blast it to the moon!"

"Not until my students switched their bodies back," Instructor Schwarzer said, although judging from the tone of his voice, he is not convinced that body switching was a possibility.

Randy tch'd and turned away. "Dammit all. Why Junie of all people?"

"At least this is not as grave as North Ambria," Aurelia said. "Yet." She stood up from her chair. "For now, we have to make it seem like the world is still spinning. That everything is normal. Got it?"

"Right," Rean and Towa said. Randy shrugged.

"Okay, Miss Orion." Aurelia nodded at her. "Open it. I need to look at my enemy before defeating him."

Millium could not understand her logic, but she nodded anyway. She opened the titanium box.
