Hey everycreature! What's up!?

So, just another random idea in my head that I wanted to write out!

Remember in Between Dark and Dawn, when at the end we get one of the most adorable and lovely moments between the two royal sisters, and they're looking at the sky and point out a shooting star?

But that's as far as I'll go! Enjoy!

It was a calm and beautiful night at the small coastal town of Silver Shoals, most ponies asleep, but a few were awake and enjoying the star lit sky above, the moon along them shining more brightly as gentle waves crashed along the shore, creating a nice rhythm to the atmosphere of the night. Along the ponies enjoying the peace and quiet was a dark blue alicorn, who had a soft smile on, so relaxed and captivated by the perfect scenery that she didn't notice and hear someone coming out on the outside deck of the house.

"Enjoying the night sister?" A voice spoke up, which caught the blue alicorn's attention, turning around to see a taller white coated alicorn, holding onto two cups with warm steam blowing out of them with her magic, a smile on her as she came froward. "Here, I made you some tea in case you were getting cold."

"Thanks Tia." The blue alicorn smiled as she took one of the cups with her magic, bringing it to her muzzle and taking a careful sip to not burn herself on the hot liquid.

"You're welcome Luna." The white alicorn, Celestia, replied as she took the seat besides her sister. "What a wonderful night, I couldn't have asked for anything better, being here, with you sister, nothing else is needed."

"Agreed sister." Luna said as she held onto the warm cup and enjoyed the many dots of twinkling light in the sky.

The two continued to watch the stars, staying mostly quiet, that is until one of them suddenly moved across the sky, creating a trail of light behind as it sped up, falling down, creating a nice spectacle in the giant star show.

"Lucky star!" The two sisters pointed out with their hooves at the same time, the two blushing bright red as they looked at each other.

"We really got to stop doing that." Luna giggled.

"Yeah, but it always reminds me of when we were little…" Celestia sighed. "When we were just happy and there was nothing to worry about so many moons ago…" Celestia remembered when she and Luna were little fillies, living in The Castle of the Two Sisters…

Many, many moons ago, in The Castle of the Two Sisters…

Luna, a very young lighter blue little filly, was on one of the balconies of the castle, looking up into the night sky as the moon shone brightly above, of which one day Luna would learn to raise and lower herself when the time came. For now, she was just a little filly, enjoying the freedom which came with her age as during this night she couldn't fall asleep, choosing instead to be alone on the outside. That is until she was visited by someone close to her.

"Luna, you should be sleeping." The young voice of Celestia spoke as Luna turned around to see her older and taller sister, Celestia, a white alicorn filly, behind her.

"I couldn't, so I came out here." Luna replied back in an innocent tone, Celestia sighing as she came froward holding onto something with her magic, putting it over her younger sister.

"You should have at least brought a blanket with you to keep warm, don't want to catch a cold." Celestia making sure the small blanket she brought covered Luna, Celestia spreading out one of her wings and placing it over the blanket, making sure it stayed there, sitting down besides Luna. "Better?"

"Yes, thanks Tia." Luna smiled. "I'm lucky to have you caring for me."

"You're welcome." Celestia said as the two looked up in silence at the night sky, so calm as it was, until a trail of white light zoomed across the sky, descending in a downward direction.

"What was that?" Luna asked as she never saw anything like that before, keeping her eye on the falling trail of light until it disappeared over the horizon.

"That was a lucky star." Celestia explained. "They say if you see one, you should make a wish and it will come true."

"Wow, really?" Luna smiling at the thought of that.

"Well, maybe." Celestia shrugged.

"How do I tell if it's a lucky star?" Luna wanting to know.

"You just need to keep watching and eventually one of the dots of light will appear to fall and move across your view, I'll show you." Celestia said as the two continued to watch and wait for one of the dots of light to move downward.

Eventually another lucky star appeared, going across as Celestia pointed it out with her hoof, showing Luna exactly what it looked like.

"There goes another, quick Luna, make a wish before it disappears." Celestia told her sister. "But don't let me know." Celestia added as Luna took a deep breath and quietly whispered her wish.

"I wish to have every night be like this with my sister." Luna said silently under her breath as the star disappeared over the horizon, out of view as the sky was once again still for the time being. "Did you make a wish too sister?" Luna asking.

"No, but there's still plenty more where that came from, besides, what more could I need?" Celestia asked. "I have everything I want right here." Celestia bringing her younger sister closer to her.

Back to the present time, at Silver Shoals…

"So many memories, happy ones too, I just wish it was always like that." Celestia sighed.

"Well, what's in the past happened." Luna replied. "There's nothing we can do about that, but we'll make new memories here sister and we're making one now."

"I couldn't agree any more." Celestia holding up her cup of tea and motioning for Luna to touch cups with her, which Luna did as the two touched cups before bringing them back. "To our happy lives for the rest of our time."

"Indeed." Luna agreed as the two took a nice, long sip from their cups, before going back to enjoying the star lit sky above, ready to point out more lucky stars if they should appear above in the beautiful, peaceful night sky.

Hope you enjoyed this nice little one shot of the two sisters!

With that...

See everycreature later!
