Heyyo, first fic *finger-guns*. Probably gunna be cringe but whatevs. I had a darker story idea with a KakaNaru pairing while reading another fic. This is just an idea and I'm not sure where I'll go with this story. Trigger warning for self harm and other age restricted topics.
Prologue
'One to ease my nerves.' Sharp metal grazed over the sickly, pale skin that was normally sun-kissed tan.
'Two to clear my head.' A shakey sigh left his chapped lips as he felt his skin split. Adrenaline rushed through him before fading into a sense of euphoria. It felt like a drug.
'Three to numb out the pain.' Ironic that he should think that as he inflicted said pain onto himself. He pushed rational thoughts out as he dug the edge of his kunai deeper into the skin of his thighs.
He stared, enraptured at the sight of his life's blood trickling out of the cuts he just made. His fingers touched the sensitive flesh, coating their rough tips with crimson.
Foolish child. Why continue to maim yourself when you know that I can heal your ailments within seconds?
Naruto sucked in a haggard breath as he felt the broken skin almost sizzle as the heat of the Fox's chakra did what it did best. 'Why can't you just let me die?'
We both know that would be detrimental to all around us Kit.
'Just let me be!' His fingers dug into his scalp, relishing in the pain he brought upon himself.
Why do you do this to yourself Runt?
"J-Just let me..." The blonde croaked out, holding back the tears that threatened to fall.
Why wallow in sorrow when you know it's just what those vermin want?
"I..Just want t-to feel..."
Feel what Kit?
Kurama's voice was snuffed out as Naruto brought the blade to his throat, hand trembling.
'Nothing at all.'
Metal met skin and everything was bathed in red.
Short, I know, but the idea just popped into my head. I'll try to update every Saturday and I guess let's see how this goes~
