Anyway onto the story and just in case I only did this in the first chapter but I should do it again

Onto the story!

Hermione walked over to the drink table a hand slammed on the table to her right she turned around and saw Lucius Malfoy "Hermione Granger" He drawled Hermione

Put on a fake smile "Hello Mr. Malfoy" she replied

she started to walk away when he grabbed her arm with so much force she knew it would have a bruise "I know what my wife wants and I will not allow a filthy little mudblood to be with my son your worthless and if you so much as touch him I'll make sure you end up dead I know where you live I know where your friends live. I know where your parents live. now go run along" he said pushing Hermione away and disappeared

Hermione felt tears threatening to show she ran over to the table where Malfoy sat "Took you long enough" he said rolling his eyes. She slammed the drinks on the table and ran outside to the garden

Malfoy stood up and went to follow her when his father stopped him "Chasing after a mudblood Draco?" His father asked, raising his eyebrow Malfoy sighed "Mother told me-" Draco started but was cut off "No Draco you know better don't destroy the Malfoy name. Let her cry come with me" he said Draco followed his father to greet the guests

Narcissa had seen everything and was extremely disappointed not only in her husband but in her son as well.

She walked out to the garden. Hermione sat on one of the benches by a bush crying.

Mrs. Malfoy sat next to her "Hermione dear what's wrong?" She asked Hermione looked at her "I can't do this Mrs Malfoy" she said Mrs. Malfoy sighed "Can I tell you something?" She asked Hermione

she nodded in response

"Draco has been falling in love with you since before your second year he always hid his feelings but I think he still does. I remember when he came back from school his first year at school and he always talked about you Lucius hated that. He scolded Draco for that he never said a word but it was obvious then I got a letter from Pansy Parkinson in your fourth year that said Draco had been staring at you instead of her" she glanced at Hermione's shocked expression before continuing "You have no idea how much it pained him to see my sister hurt you I remember seeing his face he looked like he wanted to cry... Hermione I know that you secretly like Draco as well. Don't let anyone get to you" and with that Mrs. Malfoy disappeared back into the party

Hermione decided to stay outside walking around the garden she sensed a figure behind her she turned around and saw Malfoy he didn't make eye contact but he caught up to her and walked beside her "I'm sorry" he muttered Hermione looked at him in shock then covered it up with a slight laugh "Did the great Draco Malfoy just apologize?" She smirked he chuckled and said "Well at least I'm the 'great' Draco Malfoy" he said looking at her they laughed together "You're not that bad Granger" he complimented smiling Hermione smiled back "your not that bad either for a Slytherin" she replied bumping him in the arm

They sat at another bench "Malfoy?" Hermione said staring up at the full moon "Yes?" He replied he looked at her but she didn't look back "Your mother said you liked me is that true?" Malfoy went pale

'What do I say to that?' he thought
