Ey yo... my old laptop broke down, so I lost all my draft for this story (and the other story). I just remembered very little about my draft but at least, I managed to write the whole chapter here. Not so goodie-goodie stuff but I tried.

4,200+ words only but I was at my limit so that's all into it. Sorry for the grammar mistakes, they're unintentional.

Nami felt Law's hand slide from her cheek to the back of her neck, pulling her forward until she straddled his lap. Her arms trapped between them as his arms embraced her body tightly. She could feel his semi-hardened cock when he pressed her against him. She gasped at the contact and he took the opportunity to slide his tongue inside her mouth. Her stomach churned when he plundered her depth with his tongue, tangling with hers, wooing her into a sensual dance that centered on their fused mouths. It wasn't a delicate seduction, but rather was a kiss of pure male desire and raw possession.

While his hands moved down her side and gripped her waist, he couldn't stop the instinctive jerk of his hips as he moved against her; pressing himself more intimately against her. She was becoming increasingly frustrated and struggling against his possession as she felt his hardening cock rubbed against her core. Her breath turned ragged and her heart began to pound a harsh tempo against her rib cage when he left her mouth to trail kisses along her jaw down to her neck. In the heat of the moment, she did not notice her arms were pressing on his wounded chest. She breathed a sharp gasp when he nipped her neck causing her to slightly arch and pushed lightly against his chest.

Law choked out a groan as he tightened his grip on her waist and pushed her slightly away from him. His one hand moved to his chest as he tried to ease the pain.

Her whirling thought finally cleared up into a realization, "So-Sorry… You… did I hurt you?" she gasped out, concerned in her voice. Her gaze dropped to his chest, checking out his chest, "I'm sorry… I-"

"It's alright." He cut her off. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and exhaled.

After a passing awkward silent, she dared to ask, "Still hurt?".

"Only a little." Law replied between somewhat ragged breaths.

"Maybe... you should rest?" she asked; more like suggesting and wasn't even sure if she really wanted to hear him say yes.

There were a few quiet seconds before Law propped his hands on the futon and leaned back, looking at her naughtily, "Maybe… you should get off of me first?" he questioned back, grinning at her, slightly jerking his hips.

His feral grin caught her and she felt blood rush to her face when she realized she was still straddling him. She knew she should resist and get off of him, he was injured and needed rest but at the same time, she didn't want everything to end just like that. She had to admit, she liked what she felt and enjoyed everything they were doing. A surge of desire coursed through her when she looked into his seductive gaze; the gaze that drew her in. Finally, she gave in and leaned into him. Her lips tentatively brushed his own before he pulled her flush against him and deepened the kiss.

Maybe she should just own the fact that she too, wanted him.

Law sat up instantly as a throbbing pain shot in his chest. He let out a near-silent groan and smoothed his hand lightly on his chest to help ease the pain. After the pain had subsided, he sighed slowly. His gaze fell on the person sleeping next to him. Nami was so deeply asleep that she appeared lifeless. He took the moment staring at her. The corner of his lips curved into a small smile. Her calm face holding his gaze, filled him with happiness. He could watch her like this forever. As he watched her sleep, he realized he wanted to be with her for the rest of his life. He wanted to wake up next to her every morning and the last thing he watched before he went to sleep. The corner of his lips curved into a small smile. His fingers reached out and lightly stroked her hair while trying to picture their future together.

He couldn't, however.

Then, a sudden realization hit him, erasing the smile on his face and retreating his fingers from her. Between him and her, there was no future at all. Where do the bird in the sky and the fish in the water search for the future? He felt a peculiar hitch in his heartbeat. He didn't know if he could spend the rest of his life with her. He had always known he was going to die somewhere out there. If not today, then another. What would happen to her if he died? He didn't know and it feared him not knowing that. He palmed his face with one hand and sighed in exasperation as he brushed his hair back.

At that moment, he felt guilty and wanted to just run, to have some time to think. Slowly he slipped out of his futon, collecting his garments and putting on his yukata. He folded his futon, put it in the corner and walked up to the door. He spared a glance at her before he exited the room and carefully closed the door. He headed downstairs. As he walked past the kitchen, he saw Jora stand by the stove.

"You're early." He spoke, pushing all of the earlier thoughts out of his mind.

"You, too. Do you want me to prepare a hot bath?" she offered, arranging clean plates onto the shelves.

"No." He studied the old woman. After a long thought, he called her. "Jora."

Jora turned and looked at him.

"Can you make that tea and give it to Nami when she wakes up?" Law asked, leaning against the door frame, his one arm resting inside his yukata.

"Tea?" Jora gave him a stare and finally raised her brows in understanding, "My magic tea, you mean? First time you asked."

Law tore his gaze away from her and hummed, agreed half-heartedly.

Jora smirked in triumph. "Sure… sure... Come now, Law! It's nothing to be embarrassed about. everyone calls it magic tea, too." then her expression changed. "You sure?"

"Just let her have it." He stated sternly, without feeling any guilt.

Jora sighed and just nodded knowingly. She understood, no men in their faction wanted to risk impregnating their woman so they would always ask for her tea to do the magic. So far, her tea worked fine. It had been given to their girls and new girls that worked at their brothels.

"Also, prepare a warm bath. She will need it." he added.

"And you?" she asked back.

"Me? What about me?" he frowned.

She pointed her mouth to his wound. "Don't you need to renew your bandage?"

Law looked down on his chest, noticing a few spots of blood on his bandages. Last night really had him work extra. He pressed on his chest, and knew he should replace the bandages, "Yeah."

"No need to rush. I'll help you with the bandage later." she offered.

Her eyes fluttered open to the sound of birds chirping. Her eyes lazily looked around the room before she shuddered because of the cold. Then she realized she was still naked under the blanket. She sat up immediately and winced at the mild discomfort causing her to stay still. She hurt in places she had never hurt before. She took a deep breath before turning her head to the side, Law was nowhere and his futon was already folded in the corner.

He'd gone. He should have rested. She thought and slipped out of the futon to gather the pieces of her clothing. She put on her nagajuban before slipping on her yukata. As she was adjusting her yukata, she heard a knock.

"Yes, come in." she said as she craned her head to the door, Jora appeared with a tray in his hand.

"Good. You're awake now." Jora set the tray on the low table. "I bring you tea. Drink while it is still warm." she then walked over to the window, sliding it open and letting the cold morning air swept through the room, "So refreshing... I have also prepared a hot bath for you. Take your bath after you have finished drinking."

"Yes, thank you and sorry for the trouble." she nodded and knelt beside the table.

"It's alright." Jora replied softly and turned to her, "How are you feeling?"

"Huh?"

Jora smirked knowingly and made her way to the center of the room. Nami picked up the cup and started drinking, frowned at the weird taste of the tea. She noticed Jora started folding the futon and put her cup on the table.

"No! Jora-san… you don't have to… I can do that." Nami was about to push herself up when Jora assured her that she could handle everything and gesture her to finish her drink. Nami obeyed, finished her drink, and slowly put the cup back on the table. She watched as Jora hung the futons from the window.

Did she know what happened last night? Nami frowned and thought to herself.

"You should take your bath now… and... make sure to pick up those futons before evening." Jora reminded her, lightly patting the back of her hand before Jora picked up the empty cup and tray and left. Nami just nodded in return.

"You're here already?" Doflamingo asked as he looked at Law before he made his way to his seat. "I thought you were coming with Jora and Lao Ji."

"He was here before dawn." Diamante explained, taking his seat on the first row. "Ugh… damn arm…"

Doflamingo only watched Law and Diamante singly and leaned against his chair. "Both of you look terrible." he scoffed as he studied both of the injured men. "I'm just glad you made it alive."

"Barely." Diamante emphasized and continued, "We barely made it alive if it's not because of Vergo."

"We have not even made any progress yet they already showed themselves in front of you." Gladius joined the conversation.

"So…" Doflamingo leaned forward, "You have already met those guys. Anything to share about them?"

"I'm afraid I can't share much." Diamante answered, "Couldn't even see their faces under the hat. But, he was fast, right, Law?"

Doflamingo nodded slowly, "Is that so?"

"We could have been killed if Vergo were a little bit late." Diamante added. "I wonder how-"

"They had been watching since we arrived there." Law cut Diamante off. "Tch… I should have known that." he said regretfully.

"That's troublesome." Gladius looked at Diamante, "Both of you easily fell into their cheap trap, Diamante."

"Yeah, alright. I knew. My bad. Should I apologize to you, Gladius?" Diamante asked sarcastically.

"What's done is done." Doflamingo leaned back, stopping Gladius and Diamante from squabbling. "It's not the time to talk about the past. There's nothing you can do about that. On my way back, we had discussed this with Gladius and Pika. But first, we'll wait for Jora and Lao G. They need to hear it, too."

"How about the meeting with Cobra?" Trebol asked as he sat down next to Gladius.

"That…" Gladius turned his gaze to Doflamingo.

"Nothing important at the moment. We can talk about that later."

Not long after, the door to the room slid open. Jora and Lao G came in and took their seat. Doflamingo smirked and began to talk as Baby 5 closed the door to the room.

Nami made her way to the bath at the rear of the house. Stepping into the bath, she removed her clothing and breathed deeply of the steamy, warm air. It was rich with the smells of some kind of mixed herbs that were placed in the water. She knelt on the slatted wooden floor, washed her long hair and scrubbed herself clean. After properly washed, she lowered herself into the large, wooden bathtub. The pleasant warm water and the strange scent of the herbs filling her nostrils. The mild pain diminished and calmness spread over her limbs.

She closed her eyes and tilted her head back, feeling as if she could float away. As she relaxed in the steaming bath, a vivid image of Law hovering over her slipped into her awareness. It was the first time she saw a man naked. The intention, driven need and raw ferocity reflected in his eyes did something to her and the thought of his dominance made her stomach thrilled. It had been her first time. It did hurt, but not as badly as she thought it would. He was gentle, considerate and careful. He didn't rush her, but always asked if it was uncomfortable or hurt before he continued. She just had no idea it would be exhilarating and wonderful.

She opened her eyes and breathed out. She looked around her surroundings and realized she had lost track of how long she'd been there. She got out of the bath quickly, slipping on a bathrobe that smelled faintly of herbs and incense and went outside, noted with satisfaction that she appeared to enjoy the scented bath.

"What? You are going to call Kid and his men here?" Law asked in shock, then groaned as the pain shot across his chest. "But why?"

"Calm down." Doflamingo replied. "Why? You don't like the idea?" He then laughed cheerfully and then looked at Law, "Both of you really have bad history."

Law grimaced, "Why him? What about Cobra?"

"Why him?" Doflamingo raised a brow, "Are you still holding a grudge against Kid because of the past?" he chuckled when Law looked away, "Come on Law, you are going to work with him from time to time. You will see his face everyday. Can't you even tolerate that?"

Law heaved out a sigh.

"I have a really good plan. I leave out Cobra since he cannot be trusted." he smirked, "So, I need Kid to work that plan out."

"I see… You have set your mind on it." Diamante responded. "Let's hear it out then." he looked at Doflamingo who was already grinning.

"This looks awful." Baby 5 commented as she unwrapped Law's bandage. "I'm going to clean the cut. Tell me if it hurts." she added as she began to clean the wound. Law only closed his eyes as he let her take care of the wound. His face scrunched up every time the pain stung until she finished cleaning.

"It looks like it is starting to heal over already." She said as she examined the wound before she leaned over to wind the bandage around his torso. After a long while, she finished her task. "Done."

Law could hear her assembling the medicine stuff into the box behind him. He smoothed his palm over the new bandage.

"It is too tight?" she asked, stopping her current tasks altogether and she checked on him.

"Ah… no." he replied, sliding his arm into the sleeve of his yukata. "It's good."

"Does it still hurt?" she continued putting ointments jar and the remaining spool of bandage into the box.

"Not really… not anymore."

"What are you? A monster?" She muttered as she set the box next to her, then she studied his bandage briefly and looked at him, "You should rest for a day or two to let your wound heal, Law. If you move around too much, your wound could reopen."

"I know." Law frowned and glanced at her who was heading to the closet and setting the medicine box into the drawer.

"You sure you know what rest means?" she asked as she closed the closet and turned to him. When she got no reply, she rolled her eyes. "Whatever… well, be sure to turn up for dinner." she reminded and exited the room.

Law leaned against the wall and started to collect and process every information from the previous meeting. But, he was distracted with an uninvited but sweet memory that suddenly flashed through his mind. He chuckled at the memory and smoothed his hand over his chest.

His smile slowly faded when his gaze fell on the low table where he rested his sheathed sword. Slowly he reached out and lifted his sword, pulling and inspecting the edge. Noticing a few ridges, he frowned. He recalled back the moment he blocked his opponent's attacks most of the time because he couldn't find the opening to strike back. Such a shame, he thought. He needed to send his sword back to their blacksmith to hone the edge. It was gonna take weeks to polish the blade.

He sheathed his sword back and put it on the table when he heard Dillinger's voice calling his name for dinner.

Nami tilted her head to the door when she heard footsteps. She stopped working on her task as she was looking at the door but the footsteps just passed by her room. She let out the breath that she did not realize she had been holding and glanced at the clock; hour number four*. Normally, he would already be home before that hour. She looked away from the clock and continued the work she was doing previously. Time elapsed to past midnight yet no sign of him appearing very soon. She had to sleep alone tonight. She yawned and began tidying up her sewing kit, putting all the materials next to her futon then slipped into the futon.

True to her expectation, the next day she woke up, his futon was still neatly spread on the floor, no sign of him returning that night. He was still injured and his wounds still needed to be treated. She had hoped he would go find a doctor to treat his wounds, or at least change the bandage. She sat up, rubbed her face with her palms and sighed heavily. She slipped out of the futon and began her daily routine; folding the futons and stacked them in the corner.

"Yo, Law… good morning." A voice greeting him in the hallway.

Law turned and saw Diamante, Gladius and Senor Pink headed in his direction.

"You looked so annoyed this morning." Gladius remarked.

"What happened? Quarrel with Little Miss, maybe?" Diamante snickered.

Law frowned, did not answer the question and just quickened his pace, leaving the three behind.

"Tch… always like that." Diamante muttered.

When Law slid open the door to the main hall, only Monet sat by the low table. She looked up and smiled.

"Where's Doflamingo?" Law asked.

"Oh, Monet is here, too." Diamante followed.

"Where's the Young Master?" Gladius asked.

"Calm down." Monet replied calmly. "Young Master was getting ready when I left his room. Just wait a bit. Everyone is not here yet."

The four of them took their seats respectively.

"So Law, what is it? Why do you look so gloomy?" Senor Pink asked as soon as they settled on the floor.

"Heh… Ain't he always gloomy?" Diamante replied and laughed as he looked at Law. "If you need to blow off some steam, come tonight. We have fresh ladies coming. Pick any before we send them off."

Law winced slightly at the remark. Since when did it sound so disgusting? He too, had his fair share in doing the dirty job. Of course, he did not handle the girls directly but he had caused the girls to lose a place they could call "home". He was disgusting, too. He sighed inwardly and replied, "Sure."

Each passing second, few of the members came into the main room, taking up empty seats and chatting among them while waiting for Doflamingo.

Few weeks later…

It had been weeks since she the last time she saw Law. She had been wondering but didn't have the chance to ask because he didn't show up at all. She wasn't sure if she should ask Jora about Law but after contemplating much, she decided to not ask. There were times where she thought he was avoiding her, and the thought alone hurt her. She only assumed that he got busy with his work, just to make herself feel better.

"Nami-chan…"

She turned to the voice and saw Jora was standing a few paces away from her. She was dressing neatly as if she wanted to go out. Nami washed her hands and wiped them dry with the clean towel. "Yes, Jora-san?" she walked up to Jora.

"I'll go out for a while and will come back late. Can you buy these after you have done the chores?" Jora asked as she handed out a small paper.

Nami took it from Jora's hand and nodded. "Sure will."

"Alright. See you later."

Nami only nodded as she took a brief second to read the listed items and continued cleaning the washstand.

Law watched as the blacksmith gave his long sword a thorough final check, he assumed. Occasionally, the blacksmith's brows furrowed as he flipped the blade.

"This should be it." The blacksmith commented as he handed the sword to Law.

Law took it from his hand, examining the sharp edge before sheathing his sword. Their blacksmith's work had never disappointed him.

"Your Nodachi is a good sword, but remember Law-sama, a good swordmaster is more essential than a hundred good swords."

Law frowned and shot a look at the blacksmith, "You imply?"

"No matter how many times you sharpen your blade, if you don't have a clear… strong intention, you can't cut anything."

Law nodded and headed to the entrance door. He stepped out of the blacksmith's shop and sighed deeply. What even Doflamingo had told the old blacksmith.

"You damn brat! Apologize!"

Nami tipped her head to the voice, dropping the radish she was about to pick. People started to move away from the area and it gave her a clear view of what was happening. She saw a boy was on his butt on the ground while he was surrounded by a group of some sort of thugs. Piles of bamboo scattered around near-by. Few of the thugs broke off from the group and wandered around and waved their swords to bystanders.

"You broke the strip on Lord Sarquis' zori... and you are not saying 'sorry'?"

Nami watched as the boy retaliated. Those thugs did not seem like they were going to show mercy on the boy - or anyone in particular. If he had not stopped fighting back, it was gonna get worse. Not long after she thought that, she saw one of the men was drawing his sword, placing the edge on the boy's neck, no one within the area tried to stop the guy, however. She couldn't stand to watch a boy get killed in the middle of the road just because of a misunderstanding or whatever the reason might be..

"Stop!" She yelled, striding to the boy. "Please, stop!"

"Stay out of it, lady." one member of the group shouted back at her, blocking her from walking further.

"Who the hell are you?" asked the man with a shoulder-length wavy blue hair, glancing sternly at her. She assumed he was Lord Sarquiss.

Nami knelt, put her basket next to her and bowed down before the Lord, "I am sorry…, My Lord. This child... is under my care. I do not know what offense he had caused you, but please... I beg you to overlook this matter today. Even if you have the right to use your sword on a child like this, I fear it would only stain My Lord's good name."

"Hmph... you sure know your manner... for a miserable town woman… Next time, keep an eye on your kid." warned the Lord.

"Thank you, My Lord." She replied, still bowing low, "This isn't gonna happen again, I promise." She waited for them to leave, but did not seem like they were gonna leave soon.

"But I can't walk like this." the Lord said, looking at his feet, and to Nami, "Do me a favor." He said cockily, lifting his feet. "Fix my zori." As the Lord said this, Nami missed the exchanging looks between the Lord and his men.

"What the-" the kid was about to say something, but Nami pulled him down, forcing him to knelt and push his head to bow low.

"Hey, sis... what are you... let me go." the kid shouted and struggled.

"Shut up, Kid! Your life is spared because of your sister!" another man yelled at the kid, kicking him in the foot. The kid groaned.

"I'll do it. Please stop!" Nami replied back. "I'll fix it."

"Now, that's what you call good manners. You better learn, brat." said one of the men as he pushed down the kid's head.

"Hm... wait, I'm standing in the dirt here." Lord Sarquis complained. Without much thought he placed his foot on Nami's thigh. "That's better."

As she was concentrating to fix the string of his zori, she felt his foot start to rub her against her thigh, two to three times before it slipped under the opening of her yukata. She bit the inside of her lips when his toes wiggled as they delved into her inner thigh.

Law walked leisurely along the road, he saw the commotion in front of him but he decided to not care since it had nothing to do with him. He did recognize the faces of the thugs though. They were Bellamy's people. Since Bellamy was captured, his followers roamed the street like stray dogs and caused several problems in the town, or so he heard. As he brushed past them, he took a quick glance at them and noticed the unsightly view. Almost immediately he recognized the woman that kneeling before the pervert man. Nami.

Nagajuban = kinda underwear

Hour number four = almost midnight

Nodachi = large sword
