"Dad, is mum still in her room?" Sky asked.

"Yeah, I think so. Why?" Harry responded.

"Is she still coming?"

"I'm not sure. She was in bad shape when I left her with Rosie this morning. I stayed in their room with them and slept in your mother's bed with her. I was worried and I couldn't leave her last night. I don't think she'll be able to make it up to the chapel."

"I think I'll go talk to her," sure enough Sky found his mother in her room still in bed. She was slightly propped up on a couple of pillows, "mum, can we talk?"

"Sure," Tanya responded weakly.

"I'm sorry about how I reacted yesterday. It was just a shock and a lot to take in. I needed some time to absorb everything. I'm also sorry for shutting you out the past three years."

"Thank you," Tanya couldn't believe how small her voice was.

"Please tell me it isn't too late to fight. Please tell me that you will because you do have a lot to live for."

"I can go to my doctor and see what my condition is when I get home. Sweetheart I'm sorry, but I don't think I can make it to the wedding," Tanya started crying, "I'm so sorry, but I'm too weak to get out of bed let alone up to the chapel."

"It's okay," Sky tried to reassure his mother but knew it wasn't working. He held his mother as she cried herself to sleep.

At the chapel, Sky and Sophie were at the alter, "wait," Sky said. "Sophie I love you and I want to marry you, but I can't do this without my mum here."

"Sky, it's fine. I feel like maybe this is too soon anyway."

"God, I love you," Sky kissed Sophie and the two left the chapel. Sky ran to his mother's room, "mum!" he yelled when he entered. Tanya was lying in bed awake, "Sophie and I decided to wait to get married until you can be there," Sky knelt by his mother.

"Sky, you and Sophie should go away for a little while," Tanya whispered, "you two need some time together."

"We're fine and I don't want to leave you right now," Sky feared if he left now, he wouldn't see his mother again.

"Please," Tanya begged.

Sky ended up giving in to his mother.

"Harry," Tanya called from her bed.

"Yes, love," Harry came into view.

"Will you help me down to the dock so I can say good-bye to the kids?"

"If you're sure, but I can have them come up here."

"I want to try."

Harry walked over and helped his wife out of bed, but her knees buckled from being too weak. Harry helped her to lay back down. "Darling, I know you want to see them off, but please just let me get them," Harry begged. Tanya nodded slightly too weak and tired to argue. Harry kissed her temple and texted Sky to stop by the room on their way out.

"Well, it's time for us to shove off," Sky announced as he entered the room. He immediately went over to hug his mother. "Please, don't leave while I'm gone," Tanya knew exactly what her son meant.

"I'm going to try and fight. Your dad got me an appointment with a doctor on the mainland."

"Good, I love you mum," Sky kissed his mother's cheek and went to say bye to his dad. Sophie hugged Tanya and Harry good-bye and the two left.

"You can go down there with them."

Harry climbed into bed and took his wife in his arms. "I'm good right here," Harry kissed his wife.

"Harry, I have to warn you. If I can still receive treatment, things will get much worse. I just want you to know that you can still get out if you want."

"I said I'm good right here. I made a mistake three years ago, but I won't this time. I am here with you and I'm not going anywhere. You can scream, cry, yell, and be as angry about all this as you want because I'm going to love you through it all."
