Secrets Revealed

Zoey's POV

I watched as my uncle left my current room for the moment I guess to go talk to Zack as the door shut I sat on the bed tears just started falling out of my eyes, Zack was kicked out of his home because of me, truth is the entire fight I could have avoided maybe I could have found Lola and had her take me home. Part of me just wanted to get along with Zack's new family but Maya nor Kyleigh was going to allow that.

As far as my dad's brother and his wife they seemed more understanding of the situation or maybe they were just putting on a fake front for me who knows what they truly thought about me at this point I just wanted to get away from here, I wanted to go back to Boston but I didn't have the money or transportation to do so at the moment, I just wanted to run as fast as I could get away from Maya Kyleigh and yes even Zack.

I understand he had a lot of sacrifices for me, his marriage,his home, his second daughter but to me it seemed more of guilt than anything, the fact he was never involved in my life as a child so now its an obligation that he is there for me since my mother died. I just wish all of this could be over I could get on with my life and Zack could get on with his,everything could just be back to normal.

I looked over at my bag of stuff that hadn't even been unpacked yet maybe I could get out of here. I walked over and grabbed my stuff and went to the window which wasn't too far from the floor that I could easily jump down. I opened the window quietly and put my bag out And then I climbed out and took one last look in that room "bye Zack I wish you nothing but the best" I said.

I then took a breath and left I took out my phone and looked up Lola's name hoping to find her address and stay with her for the night and actually come up with a plan before I just run away to get back home. After walking for a good while I found Lola's house.

I went up to her door and knocked on it where she greeted me "Zoey hey what brings you here?"

"Lola I'm sorry to bother you but can I stay here just for tonight"I said tears coming down my face.

"Sure come on in is everything okay" she asked in concern as she stepped aside to let me in.

I tried to keep my cool and stay calm but I just broke down "Maya kicked my dad and I out, I just don't want to be around that family anymore and I just needed somewhere to stay for the night and then I'm going home" said Zoey.

Lola was stunned as she hugged Zoey "she just kicked you guys out like that?"

"I wasn't her child, I apparently ruined their lives" said Zoey.

"You didn't ruin anything your dad made a choice you resulted in It someone once told me no child is ever a mistake you are here for a reason" said Lola.

"I just wish I knew what that reason was" said Zoey sitting on the couch.

"If it makes you feel any better my father is married to someone out there,he doesn't know I exist so I'm in the same situation you were once in" said Lola.

"I would rather get a job and attempt to live on my own than go back and constantly be reminded on how I'm the mistaken child" said Zoey.

"What if you don't have to go back to Boston what if you stay and live with me?" Asked Lola "I don't have many friends there's something about you though" said Lola.

Zoey shook her head "I'm nobody special and I couldn't ask you to take me in I just met you."

"Every other person I have met they always judge me because of my parents or they try to be my friend for connections but your not like that" said Lola.

"My mother taught me to like people for who they are not what they have"said Zoey.

"Your mother seems like a wonderful person" said Lola.

"She was the best she sacrificed a lot for me" said Zoey.

Lola was about to say something when she heard the door unlock and her mother walk through the door Lola got up and walked to her "mom your home early" she said excited.

"Yea we got done early so I thought I'd spend a few days with you" said London she then looked at Zoey "who is this?"

Zoey stood up and walked over to them "hi I just moved here my name is Zoey Fitzpatrick" she said holding her hand out.

"Fitzpatrick are you related to Maddie Fitzpatrick?" Asked London.

"Yes mam she is my mother" Zoey replied.

"I can't believe she had a child and didn't tell me" said London sitting down.

"She didn't tell anyone" said Zoey.

"Your mother was my best friend she understood me better than anyone" said London.

"Well she's no longer with us she died in a car accident its why I'm living with my dad now" said Zoey.

London got up and gave Zoey a hug "I can't imagine what your going through I'm sure Maddie was a wonderful mom she always had a mother nature even when we were younger" said London.

"Yeah mom always went above and beyond for me everything was great before sure I didn't know who my father was but it was better then living here," said Zoey.

"Do you know who your dad is honey?" Asked London.

"Yea his name is Zack Martin" Zoey replied.

London's eyes went wide "is he still with Maya?"

"I don't know the status of their relationship she kicked us out and were living with my uncle Cody right now," Zoey replied.

London after hearing Cody's name her heart began to ache as she took a breath "Lola I wanted to wait until you were ready to hear this but I think you are now."

Meanwhile At Cody's apartment Zack was pacing back and forth "where could she have gone do you think maybe she went back to Boston?"

"Do you know if she had money on her?" Asked Bailey.

"I don't know anything how was I supposed to know she was going to run off again" snapped Zack.

"Can we call the police and report her missing?" Asked Bailey.

"We can't report her missing until she's been gone 24 hours and besides Zack have you updated records that you have custody of Zoey right now?" Asked Cody.

"No I've only got her enrolled in school that's all I've had time to do" said Zack.

Zack then went and got his coat "I'm going to look for her and when I find her first I will be relieved she was okay then she's grounded" he said.

"Zack you need to calm down and be rational we want to find out why she ran away so we can figure out the best way to help her" said Bailey.

"To be fair she has been through a lot with how Maya and Kyleigh have treated her" said Cody.

"Yea but here nobody is treating her bad so I don't know why she would run" said Zack.

"I'm going to go find her" said Zack as he started out to go out the door the doorbell rang.

"I swear if that is her" Zack began he then walked up and opened the door to see a teenage boy.

"Hi my name is Cole I'm friends with Zoey Fizpatrick I went to her father's house to find her but some woman said she might be here" he said.

Zack's protectively fatherly instincts kicked in not liking the fact a guy was asking for his daughter as he crossed his arms "and how do you know my daughter?"

"I've been her best friend since middle school" said Cole.

Cody rolled his eyes "please come in" he said allowing Cole to walk in "thank you sir" Cole replied.

"So where is Zoe?" He asked looking around.

"She has ran away and this is her second time doing this" said Cody.

"Ran away? That doesn't sound anything like Zoey have you all done anything to upset her?" Asked Cole.

"Its a long story but right now we need any help we can get to find her do you know if she has any money saved up for anything that she could use to go back to Boston?" Asked Cody.

"She does have money saved up to pay for her tuition" said Cole.

Cole then thought for a minute "hey do you have a laptop don't tell Zoey this but I remember said she put a tracker in Zoey's phone just in case she went through a rebellion stage" said Cole.

Cody quickly went to get his laptop and gave it to Cole and he tracked down Zoey's phone "I found her she's at a London Tipton residence not too far from here" said Cole.

"London lives up here?" Said Cody.

"London knew I had a daughter?" Said Zack.

"Look we can figure out how Zoey and London know each other later right now we need to find Zoey" said Bailey.

"Alright I'll go with the kid and get Zoey" said Zack.

"Actually it would be best if you stay here have someone else go with Cole if you don't act rational you might scare her" said Bailey.

"I don't know this kid what if he pulls a fast one and takes her back to Boston" said Zack.

"I won't take her back to Boston I'll bring her back here" said Cole.

"I'll go with him to make sure" said Bailey getting her coat.

Zack finally nodded "okay but no funny buisness bring her back here alright punk?" He said.

"no problem I will bring her back here" said Cole.

"Be safe" said Cody as Bailey and Cole left.

Zack then looked at Cody "how is it your life turned out so perfect?" Said Zack.

"It didn't" said Cody.

"What do you mean it didn't you loved Bailey since sophomore year,you got your law degree, and you married Bailey now all you need is some kids," Zack joked.

"Our relationship wasn't always perfect there is something I never told you there was a time where Bailey and I had a break and I was upset about it London was in town and she cheered me up followed by admitting she had a crush on me you remember the crush I had on her when I was young just like yours and Maddi's situation those feelings came rushing back" said Cody.

"Cody you didn't" said Zack shaking his head.

"I did I slept with London I guess its part of the reason I'm so understanding of your situation" said Cody.

"Cody why didn't you tell me, you could have come to me look what a messed up situation I'm in I have two kids by two women that I love" said Zack.

"I thought you would judge me" said Cody.

"Have you talked to London since that happened?" Asked Zack.

"Well she thought we were going to get together but I had made up with Bailey and she had her number changed and she never contacted me again" said Cody.

"There's not a chance you have a kid out there somewhere is there?" Asked Zack.

"I've never heard anything and I always thought if I did get London pregnant her father would hunt me down which hasn't happened" said Cody.

"What if she did get pregnant would you have done the right thing and tried to be in his or her life?" Asked Zack.

"Of course I would it would be the right thing to do" said Cody.

"What about Bailey though?" Asked Zack.

"I don't know I would hope she would be more understanding than Maya" said Cody "but I am proud of you Zack you could have just ran off And ignored this whole situation but you faced it like a man and took responsibility and tried to be there for Zoey" said Cody.

"I just hope someday both of my children to get along if I lose Maya fine but I want Kyleigh and Zoey both in my life" said Zack.

"I'm sure it will happen you just need to give it time" said Cody.

"I hope your right" said Zack.

There was a moment of silence at the Tipton household before London spoke "I never told your dad about you because like Maddie's situation with Zoey he was married and I didn't want to ruin his happiness" said London.

"So who is my dad" asked Lola.

"Cody Martin" she replied.

Zoey's eyes went wide "Cody is my uncle your my cousin" she said.

"If I would have known Maddie and I could have went through this together you girls could have met earlier things would have been so different" said London.

"How would you like to stay here, you are my best friend's daughter and my daughter's cousin your like family I'm not going to let Maddie's daughter be treated like crap I know she would do the same for me what do you say?" Said London.

"I couldn't ask you to do that" said Zoey.

"I don't want Maya to treat you like crap I never liked her anyway" said London.

"I just think it would be best if I went home to Boston until college starts" said Zoey.

"But were both going through the same with our fathers we can deal with this together" said Lola.

Zoey was about to speak when the doorbell rang and London went to answer it to reveal Cole and Bailey.

Zoey recognized Cole and ran up to him "what are you doing here?"

"I'm on spring break I thought I would visit you" said Cole.

Zoey brought Cole in to talk to him as Lola walked up to London and Bailey and Bailey looked over at her "London who is this?"

"This is my daughter Lola" she replied.

Bailey's eyes never left Lola as she looked at her features "there was features that were very similar to Kyleigh and Zoey "does Zack have a third child" she thought.

"You have a daughter?" Bailey whispered "she has features like Zack and Cody did you sleep with Zack too?" Yelled Bailey accusingly.

London's heart started beating fast as she took a breath.
