It was the next morning and Zoey's second day at her school she got ready and walked into the kitchen when Zack stood up "hey you ready for school kiddo?"

"Actually my cousin Lola is taking me and bringing me home today" said Zoey eyeing Bailey who was fixing breakfast.

Cody stood up "she don't need to waste gas I could take you guys, we can pick her up right now" said Cody grabbing his coat.

"its okay Cody, she's already on her way" said Zoey as she heard a honk "that's her," she said as she grabbed her back pack and went out the door.

Bailey stared at Cody as Cody looked down, Zack noticing the awkwardness grabbed his stuff "well looks like you guys have some things to talk about I'm going to head on to work," he said as he waved goodbye and left the house.

Bailey then looked at Cody "I have had time to think and I just have one question why did you do it?" she said crossing her arms.

"We were on a break, I was upset and she conforted me I had a crush on her when I was little but It wasn't near as strong as my feelings for you," said Cody.

"Its so strange you and your brother did the same thing resulting in two girls" said Bailey.

"I cant just ignore her now, she's in my life now and I know who she is I cant just pretend that I don't" said Cody.

"I know I was upset yesterday and I acted on impulse, we never had a child I always wanted to start a family with you that's what hurts we don't have any kids but you have one out there with someone else," cried Bailey.

"I mean she's my child, I want to get to know her but I don't want her to get in between us London and I are her mom and dad that can't change but you would be a part of her family too she's just a kid" said Cody.

"You let Zoey in the house with open arms knowing her background and Maya is your friend, why is it so different for Lola?" asked Cody.

"Zoey is your niece, Zack's daughter she is family" said Bailey.

"Lola is part of my family by blood and I can't change that but if I'm going to try to be a father to her then I need you to be supportive of it and I would love for you to be a part of it too" said Cody.

"This hurt me but I'm not going to be like Maya and push you away I'm going to try to make this work with you, me and Lola" said Bailey.

"Really?" said Cody.

"Really I love you and always will we will get past this, together" said Bailey.

Cody gave her a kiss and grabbed her hand "I love you Bailey."

"I love you too" said Bailey.

Zoey and Lola just pulled up to the school and she parked the car "you ready for day two," asked Lola sarcastically.

"I just hope its better than day one was" said Zoey.

"Its hard to believe you and Kyleigh are related she is a such a bitch and your well not" joked Lola as the two started walking towards the school.

"You got to keep in mind I was raised completely different then she was" said Zoey.

"I mean it seems to me Zack is trying though" said Lola.

"But I feel like if I hadn't come here he would still be with his wife and daughter you know" said Zoey "by the way I'm sorry about Bailey she seemed so cool about me I thought she would be cool about you too."

"Mom told me about her, she will be enraged one minute and happy the next I'm sure eventually she will get over it" said Lola.

"Are you planning to get to know Cody?" asked Zoey.

"I mean I would like too but like your situation I don't want to ruin his family" said Lola.

"You wont ruin anything nothing is your fault" said Zoey.

"Why don't you come over after school Cody gets home before Bailey you can talk to him" said Zoey.

Lola nodded "okay ill talk to him."

The bell rang which signaled that there was five minutes until class and Lola and Zoey started heading that way "hey I'm going to stop by the bathroom first I'll be there in a minute" said Zoey she walked in to see Kyleigh and one of her friends smoking pot.

"Kyleigh is that you?" asked Zoey surprised.

"Oh look its your big sister is she gonna be a nark" one of her friends snapped.

"She is not my big sister, she's nothing to me" said Kyleigh.

"Does Zack know about this, what about Maya do they have any idea you do this stuff?" yelled Zoey.

"Relax its harmless and what are you going to tell on me so my dad will like you more" said Kyleigh.

No but I do know your better than this, just from the last couple of days I know Zack raised you better than this" said Zoey.

"You think you can just waltz up here and analyze their entire family why don't you go back to Boston from where you came from" said Kyleigh's friend.

Zoey shook her head "if you want to screw up your life go ahead, you could have a bright future but making all these dumb ass decisions could ruin that years from now if you want to be known as a druggie for the rest of your life go ahead because that is where your headed!" yelled Zoey as she headed back out the door and went to class.

Kyleigh rolled her eyes and threw the blunt in the trashcan and her and her friend went on to class as well.

Zoey walked into class and sat next to Lola "hey what took you so long?' Lola asked.

"I didn't end up going.. I saw Kyleigh and her friend smoking a blunt in the bathroom," whispered Zoey.

"Yea she hangs out with all the potheads" said Lola.

"How does Zack and Maya not realize the kind of people she hangs out with my mom always wanted to know where I was and who I was with" said Zoey.

'Some parents are different I'm sure if Zack helped raised you, you would be a different person than who you are today" said Lola.

"That's true" said Zoey.

Zoey was thinking to herself when an alarm went off and a voice on the intercom "THIS IS NOT A DRILL THERE IS A FIRE PLEASE EXIT THROUGH THE CLOSEST EXIT!"

Everyone started running in panic as they tried various ways to get out some jumping through the windows Lola ran out the front door and Zoey despite better judgment went to look for her sister.

"Kyleigh!" she started yelling repeatedly as she ran through the halls trying to avoid the fire.

Meanwhile Cole Zoey's friend had just got up and was at Cody and Bailey's house Cody had allowed him to stay while he was visiting his niece he turned on the news to see that the school was on fire and went and found Zack's phone number was written down and called him.

Zack was working when his cell phone started ringing and he answered "I'm at work who is this?"

"Hi this is Zoey's friend Cole I just turned on the news James Maddison High is on fire is that where Zoey goes to school?"

Zack's eyes went wide "and Kyleigh...he whispered "yes thank you for calling I'm heading down there."

"So am I, I want to make sure Zoey is okay" said Cole.

"Then get the extra keys to Cody's house they should be on the keyring and lock the house" said Zack.

Cole hung up the phone and got the extra key locked the house and went on to the school.

Zack was there in ten minutes speeding the entire way there of course he immediately started looking through the students trying to find both of his daughters Maya was there as well looking for Kyleigh when she ran into him "have you seen Kyleigh?" she yelled panicking.

"No I just got here I haven't seen either one of them" said Zack.

Cole then ran up to the school grounds and he found Zack "have you found Zoey is she okay?" said Cole.

"No I haven't seen her but I'm going to keep looking" said Zack as he started running around and started yelling "Zoey! Kyleigh!"

He then saw Cody and Bailey "hey how did you know this was going on" he asked his brother and his wife.

"Bailey saw it on the news at work and was worried about Lola, Kyleigh and Zoey have you seen Lola?" asked Cody.

"No I've been looking for my own girls" said Zack.

They then heard a voice "Lola!" they all turned around to see London and Lola running towards her "mom" she said hugging her.

Cody sighed in relief as he looked at Bailey and she nodded in approval "go make sure she's okay" and Cody mouthed "thank you" as he ran over to them.

"Hey are you okay?" said Cody.

Lola crossed her arms "yea I'm fine."

"I'm just glad your okay did you ever run into Zoey by any chance?" asked Cody.

Zack walked up behind Cody and listened to the girl "Zoey went to find Kyleigh she might still be in there."

Zack's eyes went wide as he immediently without a second thought started running towards the school he heard voices of "sir you can't go in there" but he didn't care he pushed through the men "I have to save my daughters" he yelled.

Zoey was still running until she found Kyleigh who was banging at a door that was blocked shut as she opened it "Kyleigh are you okay?"

Kyleigh looked shocked to see Zoey on the other side "why are you saving me?" she said shocked.

"Because my mother taught me family sticks together no matter how much we hate each other" said Zoey.

The two of them started running towards the back door when they saw Zack "Kyleigh Zoey!" he yelled getting in front of them.

"Zack/dad" they said back as they followed him to a window as he opened it "both of you go!" he yelled.

"What about you?" said Kyleigh.

"Don't worry about me just go!" yelled Zack.

The two of them went out the window and went to find Maya and Zack followed.

Maya seeing Kyleigh ran up quickly "oh thank god" she said hugging her.

She then looked at Zoey "you saved my daughter..." she said in disbelief "you saved my daughter" she repeated as she hugged Zoey "thank you" she said tears streaming down her face.

"What can I do to thank you Zoey Fizpatrick whatever it is you have it" said Maya.

"I want you to take Zack back he loves you and he loves her I will leave forever if I have to just take my dad back" pleaded Zoey.

"You don't have to go anywhere,you saved her life your her sister, your family" said Maya.

"You mean it?" said a voice behind them they turned around to see Zack.

"Yeah I want you both to come home" said Maya.
