Zoey and Zack went to get their stuff at Cody's and went back to Maya's she greeted them with a smile and Zack gave her a kiss on the cheek and headed on upstairs to his room and Zoey stood in the living room akwardly for a minute looking around she was about to grab her stuff and head to her room when Maya stopped her "can I talk to you?" she asked.

Zoey went over and sat down in the recliner in front of her "sure whats up?"

"I just wanted to apologize to you, I took all my anger and hurt out on you for something your dad did" Maya began.

"I didn't ask to be the child of this kind of situation, it just happened" said Zoey.

"I know Zoey and treating you that way on top of losing your mother was horrible of me, when there's a situation of cheating they always blame the other woman, never the husband, your mother wasn't here to blame, so I took it out on you and that was wrong" said Maya.

"Look just like you had a life before I came along, I had a life too in Boston with my mother and friends I came here and life became so different" said Zoey.

"I should have never put in Kyleigh's head that hating you was okay, your her sister a half sister but still a sister no matter how you were brought here" said Maya.

"If you don't mind me asking why the change of heart all of a sudden you were so determined I was not going to be a part of this family" said Zoey.

"Because I realized it wasn't your fault and I'm not going to lie to you it's going to be hard I was avoiding the situation by not having you around but if Zack and I are going to make it I'm going to have to develop a relationship with you too and from what I see your not a bad kid I will give you credit your mom she raised you well" said Maya.

"I appreciate that" said Zoey.

"I know its going to take a while before we can start a relationship I hurt you right off the bat and I know that will always be your first impression of me but I want to get to know you and I want you and Kyleigh to get to know each other" said Maya.

"Id like that too" said Zoey.

Zoey stood up and Maya did the same as they gave each other a hug Zoey then smiled "I'm going to settle in" she said grabbing her stuff and walking in her room.

She sat her stuff down and looked over to see Kyleigh sitting on her bed "hi" she said.

"Hello how are you?" said Zoey.

"I'm fine" said Kyleigh.

"So what brings you in here?" asked Zoey.

"I just wanted to say thanks nobody else came looking for me in that fire or noticed I was gone you saved my life" said Kyleigh.

"Its no problem" said Zoey.

"I owe you an apology Zoey you have the kindest heart and I treated you like hell" said Kyleigh.

"Why did you do that?" said Zoey.

"Because I thought you were going to take my dad from me I was an only child for fifteen years then suddenly I had a sister and I had to share my dad all of a sudden I know that's selfish but..." said Kyleigh.

"My intention was to never take him from you...since by law I had to move up here I thought id get to know him before I went to college, he raised you and nothing can take that away no matter how long I'm in his life you will always have that you knew him your entire life and I didn't you will always have that special place in his heart and that's okay with me" said Zoey.

"Your not that bad" said Kyleigh.

"If you would have taken the time to get to know me you would have seen that" said Zoey.

"I know that now can we start fresh?" asked Kyleigh.

'Id love that" said Zoey.

Meanwhile Zack was on the phone with his mother and she was really upset "What is causing you and Maya to split up I don't understand you were so happy."

"Mom there was just conflict between her and Zoey but she's okay with her now" said Zack.

"Who is Zoey?" said Carrie.

"Mom she is your other granddaughter I found out about her a week ago when her mother passed" said Zack.

"But you were with Maya since seven seas high and then you got married how did this happen who is her mother?" demanded Carrie.

"Maddie" replied Zack.

"What I can't believe this... I saw Maddie and her daughter at the Tipton many times but she never once told me she was my granddaughter" said Carrie.

"She didn't want Zoey to get hurt by my new family" said Zack.

"Maddie knows me, she knows I would look at anything with an open mind I was a single mom I knew what she had been through I don't understand why she would have kept this from me" said Carrie.

"Look I wish I could have been in her life and seen her grow up but I didn't I can't change that but I can be there for her now" said Zack.

"How could you sleep with someone when involved with someone else" said Carrie.

"My old feelings came rushing back I had to make sure I was over her that was wrong I know" said Zack.

"It was wrong...but you can't change it now, I thought I raised a better man" said Carrie.

"You did because now I'm doing the right thing and being a dad" said Zack "she has tried to run away twice "the irresponsible me would have just let her go but the new me went to find her and brought her back home because I've already lost so many years with her I don't want to be like my dad I want to be her parent," said Zack.

"I'm coming up there we need to meet as a family" said Carrie.

"Your not going to be mean to Zoey are you?" said Zack.

"Of course not she's my granddaughter but I do want to meet her as her grandmother" said Carrie.

"Well um you may want to call Cody he has news for you too" said Zack.

"Are him and Bailey finally having a baby?" she said excited.

"No not at all but you just need to call him okay?" said Zack.

"Alright ill book a plane and should be up to New York tomorrow" said Carrie.

"Okay I'll let everyone know your coming" said Zack as he hung up the phone.

Zack stared into the wall he was thinking to himself when Maya walked in "you look like you saw a ghost."

"I told mom about Zoey and now she wants to meet her she's coming up here tomorrow" said Zack.

Maya held his hand "everything will be okay I promise" she said.

"I hope so" said Zack.
