Nagisa POV

Hi there! I'm Nagisa Shiota, a world-class assassin. People around the world call me the Blue Viper. Ways to describe myself would be that I am kind of short at 164 cm (5'4 ft) and I have blue hair, hence I am called Blue Viper. I have a slim body, but Karma prefers to call my body feminine which pisses me off sometimes. I am also currently twenty-two-years-old. I was forced into the assassin world when I was eight-years-old and recruited by the government. If I ever try to remember anything before my eight years of life, I gets headaches and I only see red. I pretty much only remember the name I was given by my parents, whom I really don't remember as well. The only person I consider family is Karasuma-sensei, Bitch-nee , Lovro-sensei, Koro-nii, Karma, and Sakura-chan.

Karasuma-sensei is the one who found and recruited me. He's a government agent of the Ministry of defense and was assigned to train lost kids who have the potential to become assassins. He was very strict but very also kind when he taught me and Karma to be assassins. Overtime, we have gotten so used to his strict regimen that we don't really notice time moving forward. Besides Karasuma-sensei, Lovro-sensei also teaches us assassination techniques as he, himself, is an assassin. From the stories I got from Koro-nii, Lovro-sensei was the one who recruited Bitch-nee. I consider Bitch-nee like an older sister because she helps me a lot when I have problems like Koro-nii. Me and Karma call her Bitch-nee because well ... her tactics on missions are that of a bitch. She also acts like a bitch towards to everyone but Lovro-sensei. Nonetheless, we still love her!

Anyways, Karma Akabane was also recruited by Karasuma-sensei at a young age just like me. He's known as the Red Demon. We both trained together and we treat each other as brothers, best friends, and rivals. He's a great combat assassin and his quite cunning as well. He has the looks and the charm, but can be quite sadistic on missions. I tried talking about his ways of interrogation and assassination, but I really don't want wasabi in my nose. What's this about wasabi in noses, you ask well ... Karma once put wasabi and mustard in one of our targets during one our missions to interrogate them about their associates and our other targets. I'm still scared to talk about his sadistic nature, but let's never mind that.

Sakura-chan is my student. Yes, I'm also a teacher, but not the ordinary one like the ones in junior-high. Koro-nii is the one who introduced Sakura-Chan to me. He said that she also has no place to go and has the potential to become an assassin as well just like when I was recruited. Koro-nii then asked me if I could teach her to become an assassin since I am a capable assassin. He also said that I have a talent for teaching. I guess I do have the talent as a teacher I suppose. I was once posing as a high-school teacher for about half-a-year to a year to gain proof of the principal there embezzling money and his connections to drug-lords. During that time, I was placed in one of the classes that had a lot of trouble studying and had bad grades. I guess I got too immersed in my teaching role that I raised their grades a considerable amount during their final exams. I eventually solved the principal problem and Karma was able to *ahem* obtain info from the principal about his connections to drug-lords. My time there was rather enjoyable and so I accepted Koro-nii's request to teach Sakura-chan. Koro-nii also told me to teach her academics in addition to me teaching her assassination techniques. That's to be suspected as that's how Mr. Karasuma and Koro-nii taught me and Karma on how to become assassins. From what I can say about Sakura-chan was that she was really quiet in the beginning, but she later opened up to me to reveal that she has a cheerful personality. She can be quite stubborn sometimes and headstrong, but she is smart and kind kid. She really is like a little sister to me. I like that.

The one person I idolize the most is Koro-nii. He's the greatest assassin and teacher I have ever had. His skills in assassination matches is charisma in teaching. He's known as The Reaper and he is such a badass. I only hope to strive to be like him one day. Karma and I were his only students as he saw great potential from both of them and we're glad he made that decision. Recently, he was assigned a mission by Karasuma-sensei at a school called Kunugigaoka Junior High to pose as a teacher until he was able to gain enough intel on the yakuza that have ties to the school through the principal who has connections with them. Whenever he comes back to the office, I sometimes see that he always has something on his mind and seems distracted. I tried asking him if everything is alright in his mission. He said everything's fine, and that he just thinking about a friend he unexpectedly made there with one of the staff. I hope this friend is nice.

I was assigned a little apartment near Kunugigaoka if I was ever needed for Koro-nii's mission which was unlikely. Until then, I would do little jobs of assassination so I wouldn't get bored. In my free time, I would go to a little pudding cafe nearby and read a book or magazine. My second favorite food would be pudding with sushi being my first. Anyways, I just came back home from a little mission and I'm getting a bit impatient with how Koro-nii is taking his time with his mission.

I sighed heavily and looked at the time. It was 3:30. I was getting pretty tired of these tiny jobs at night. My sleep schedule is really messed up, but I guess I usually sleep at 10:00 pm. "I guess I'll get some pudding," I said, grabbing my keys and books and went out of my apartment and locking the door of course. When I'm out in public on a mission, I usually dye my hair to a dark brown color instead of my usually blue hair. The dye comes off really easily so I usually have blue hair on missions to signify 'Blue Viper'. I haven't been on much important missions lately since I'm on standby for Koro-nii's mission so I decided to keep my brown hair for a while. I still look nice though.

As I was walking I thought, 'What's going on with Koro-nii? He usually doesn't take this long to complete his missions." Koro-nii usually takes his missions very seriously and completes it as fast as he can just to go onto the next mission. "I wonder what's making him take so long," I questioned and looked at the clear blue sky while walking to the cafe, "I guess I really don't mind this lax lifestyle." Birds were chirping and there was a gentle breeze with kids's laughter in the background. I smiled at their innocence of youth. I then continue my walk.

After about a fifteen minute walk, I arrived at the cafe. I come here so often that the owners of the establishment recognized me as a regular. To hide my true identity, I go under the alias of Haru Yamada. I tried to pick a convincing name.

As I entered through the door, the bell on the entrance rang. "Ah, Haru-kun! Hello again," the woman at the counter yelled. The cafe doesn't get a lot of customers, but the pudding here is just so so so so delicious. For me, it almost rivals sushi.

"Hello Harada-san," I smiled at the girl and waved with one hand since I have my book on my other.

"You know you can me Izumi-san you know that Haru-kun,"pouted the girl.

"Eh, I'm sorry Izumi-san. It's just a habit," I scratched the back of my head sheepishly, "How's it going with the cafe and your family?"

"Oh they're okay. Taiki-kun is sick again and otousan and okaasan are just looking taking care of him back at home," she replied

"Oh, I hope Taiki-kun gets better soon," I said with a comforting and reassuring tone.

"Thank you Haru-kun," she smiled back warmly.

Izumi-san is about the same age as me. She has purple-ish long hair and a very cheery attitude. She is usually here when I visit and we talk with each other when there's not much customers, which is the case sometimes. Her family owns the cafe and I'm glad they do because I have said their pudding is delicious! Anyways, since their business is kind of small, they usually don't get a lot of customers. Those customers that do come are usually regulars like me. I try to tip them as much as I can whenever I visit. I even tried offering a generous donation to their business to express my gratitude, but they quickly declined it and said that I didn't need to and they were fine financially. At least they're financially stable. Her family is a really nice group of people and I got to even meet them once or twice when I was in the cafe. They usually have one or two of them at the cafe and Izumi is usually the only one there when I visit.

"Now would you have the usual Vanilla pudding day Haru-kun?" questioned Izumi-san.

"You know it! I tried so many flavors that I think vanilla is my favorite," I answered.

"Aww, that means so much to me and my family," she said while preparing the pudding.

I went to take a seat and thought back to Koro-nii's mission. 'Why is he taking his time on this one,' I thought. I then thought back to when he said he unexpectedly made a friend there. Then suddenly a thought came to mind, 'Is he in love?'. That would be very interesting, but could there be such romance in an assassin's life.

'Could I have such a lifestyle? Can I actually love someone and that someone loves me even with my dark past,' I asked myself in my head. "Like there will be someone like that in my life," I muttered my breath while I started reading my book.

My thoughts were interrupted when the bell on the door rang revealing a girl with green hair and two pigtails. The first thing that came to my mind was only one word:

'Cute'

A.N.: Hi there! I just wanted to write this story because why not. I just had this idea in my mind while writing Personality Disorder (check it out! New chapter coming soon!). Anyways, Nagisa is an assassin and the girl at the end is the girl, the actress, the pudding lover, the one and only Kaede Kayano! I just love this pair. Hope you like the story so far! Stay safe!
