The last day of the game events.

I woke up with a headache. I open my eyes and look at the ceiling of my tent. I think I've drink too much yesterday evening. I can't even remember how I came back here in my tent. My family will probably tell me all about it this evening. I think about the drama that happened because of Britney. I snort to myself. That I can remember. She showed everyone what she thinks of them, it wasn't a good thing to do when the whole family and practically the whole town was there. I want to sit up when someone scratches on my tent.

"Who is there?" I watch the tent open and see Frances. She smiles and I smile back. "Can I come in?" I nod and she crawls inside. "How bad was I yesterday evening?" She starts to giggle. "Pretty bad to be honest." "I can't remember anything." She moves closer to me and lays her hand on my chest. I look down. "Where's my shirt?" She looks at my chest. "I don't know." I look at her face and she smiles. I lean in and give her a kiss. She lays her hand on my cheek and stops the kiss. "I wish I could remember what I did." "I can tell you, you were funny, you were trying to prank Jack, but you failed."

I chuckle as I shake my head. I do the weirdest things when I'm wasted. "And you told your parents that we had sex." I stop chuckling and look at her face. She's still smiling. "Did I do that when everyone was around?" I'm getting scared now, if Britney has heard me saying that then she'll be making drama today and dad will tell me to leave. "Basically, but I don't think Britney has heard you. Though Ben, your family, and the kids have heard you." I sigh deeply and pinch my fingers on my nose bridge while I close my eyes.

"I really hope she hasn't, because she'll be making big drama if she has." She keeps looking at me and I feel her hand going through my hair. She plays a little with my hair on the back of my head. "I love your hair." I open my eyes and turn my head. I see her smiling. "I love yours too… how messy it can look but you still look so beautiful." She giggles about it. "My hair is wild, they never listen." I smile and lean in. She gives me a sweet peck. "But I'm serious, if Britney has heard me and she makes drama again…" I inhale deeply. She keeps looking in my eyes. "Then I'm afraid I need to leave, and I will lose you. My son will hate me so much."

I look down and close my eyes, a few tears fall on my cheeks. Frances rubs a tear away. I turn my head to look at her. "It will be alright." "Baby, I can lose you." "You won't lose me, I promise, and your dad can be reasoned with. He loves you." "You think he'll let me stay here if Britney does drama again? He was pretty serious about his ultimatum." "Your father can be very hot headed, just like you, remember a few days ago? How we told him to start taking those diabetes pills?" I nod as I remember that. "He should start taking them." Frances smiles. "I'm sure he will eventually." I inhale deeply, she grabs my chin and I look in her eyes.

I see her smiling and looking at my lips. "You look gorgeous." I snort a little and shake my head. "Except for the goatee, right?" She chuckles. "It's a beard now, not a goatee anymore." I look back at her. "You're sexy, though I do prefer you without any sort of beard." "I'll shave it off…. tomorrow." I wink and she giggles. "So…" She starts after a moment of silence. I move myself a little closer to her. "When are you going to talk to Britney?" I sigh and straighten my back a little as I think. "After the dancing event." So, if she then starts making drama, then at least she can go to LA by herself. "Why not before lunch?" "No, that would be a bad thing." "Why?"

"Knowing her, she'll hold herself in and then at the event she'll be making a huge lot of drama again. She seems to live for that." She lays her arm around my waist and I smile a little. "And dad really don't want to have any drama anymore, especially when it comes from her." "I understand, but people will wonder when we get together." "In my eyes, we're together already, Baby." She looks in my eyes. I see that twinkle and lean in. We kiss for some moments. I could feel her lips on mine forever. She giggles a little after I try to playfully bite on her lower lip. "Stop it. Your beard tickles." I give her a half grin and she grabs my face. "Hmm." She kisses me deeply and I grab her so I could push her down. I lay myself on top of her and she giggles.

I bite my lip and then kiss her again. She lays her arms around my neck. I want her so bad right now. I'm so into this moment that I even forget that I'm having a hangover. I lean on my elbows. I feel her hands going to my chest. She let her hands glide down over my waist. I moan softly and kiss my way down to her throat. She giggles when I let my beard tickle her a little. Her hands go to my hips and I press myself a little more against her. She feels something. "What's that?" I lift my head up and look at her face.

"What?" "I feel something." "Of course, you feel something. It's your little buddy." I wink and she giggles about it. "No, I mean, I do feel that as well, but I feel something in your pocket." I get off her and sit on my knees. I forgot about the bottle with the pills. "There's something I wanted to show you, but I couldn't find the right moment." I put my hand in my pocket. She pushes herself into a sitting position as I take the bottle out. "What's that?" I give it to her. "The day before yesterday, I went to my bedroom to get clean clothes. My room is a total mess, Britney has been destroying my stuff. Even my old pictures." I explain. Frances takes the bottle and looks on the label. "After I laid my pictures on my desk, I turned and knocked this bottle off. I've never seen these pills before."

"This is oxycodone, it's a very strong painkiller. It's very addictive and it's dangerous when taking too much at once." She looks at my face. I start to frown as I think. "You think?" I look at the bottle. "Yes, I think she tried to overdose you or something. I just don't know how she gave it to you." She opens the bottle and sees the capsules. I keep watching her. "Aha, I might have a guess." She takes a capsule out and shows it to me. "I'm confused, Baby." "Look, you can open these and then put the powder in a drink." I think about that evening, trying to remember if she gave me a drink but she didn't. "How would she have done that? She didn't gave me a drink or something."

"There's another way, but honestly, that would be farfetched." "You think she did this before?" She sees I'm getting scared. She puts the capsule back in the bottle and close it. "I'm not surprised if she did." She looks at the label again. "It's on her name, look." She shows it to me. "This is proof, you need to keep this with you." I frown. "You mean, using this against her?" "If everything gets out of hand, you can sue her for attempted murder." I know Britney can go far, but to murder someone, I can't see her doing that. "Johnny…" I look up at her face. "I know you don't want to let it go that far, but please, think about yourself." I sigh and give her a kiss.

I'm thinking about the last year. If she maybe has drugged me more than once. You don't get these pills without a prescription, so I wonder how she got them. Frances sees my face and lays her hand on my cheek. I look in her eyes. "What's the other way?" I have to know. "She could have put the powder on her lips and with kissing you, you got the medication into your system." I think about that evening and night. Britney and I had sex that night, and I kissed her. "We did had sex that night." "I know, you told me at the creek." "You think?" "I think she used that method, but I'm not sure." "I never would've thought that this would ever happen to me."

I see her serious face. I watch her moving closer. She grabs my face as she went to sit on her knees. I look in her eyes and see her smiling a little. I close my eyes when she kisses me. I inhale deeply and hold my breath as I kiss her back. Mom walks outside and looks at the tents. The boys are already up and throwing ball to pass the time until lunch. She walks to my tent and squats to look inside. She sees us kissing and starts to smile. "You're having fun?" I jump and let Frances go. I turn my head to look at mom and see her smile.

Then my headache came back. I groan as I grab my head. "You need an aspirin, son?" I nod as I crawl out of the tent. Mom stands straight and looks at my face. "You slept well?" I inhale deeply and close my eyes. "I did, how much have I been drinking?" Mom chuckles. "Too much, Jamie and Jamaal had to carry you to your tent. Baby brought you back here." I look at Frances. She sees the bottle and takes it. She puts it in her pocket and crawls out of the tent. "Come, I'll give you an aspirin and some coffee." Mom turns and walks to the house. I follow her as I rub my temples. "Where's my shirt?"

"You took it off on a certain moment. That was the sign that your father told us to go home. I'm washing it. Your other jeans is clean if you want to change it, then I can clean this one as well." I look down at my jeans and see the stains. "Sure, I'll change them in a bit." Mom stops when she's on the porch. She sees Frances coming and smiles. "Baby, you want to give him some coffee?" Frances looks at mom and nods. Mom waits until Frances is inside. "You need to be careful or you need to do something about the situation, son." I start to frown, but that hurts now. "What do you mean, ma?" "Hasn't Baby told you? You were telling us, almost in details, about the sex you had with Baby. You're lucky that Britney wasn't there at that moment."

I sigh and look down. Mom watches me and starts to smile again. "I'm proud of you, son." I look back up. "You made the right decision, dad told me that you two had talked about his ultimatum." I nod at that. "As much as it hurts me, I think your father is right. We had enough drama in our lives, we don't need new drama. You need to talk to her." I nod. "I know, and I will." Frances came outside with a mug and an aspirin. I look at her. She smiles as she hands it to me. "Thanks, Baby." I put the pill in my mouth and swallow it with some coffee. Frances puts her hands in her back pockets as she watches me. Mom looks at her with a smile.

"He'll be talking to her after the dancing this evening." Mom looks back at me. "Why then? Why not earlier?" I look at mom and take another sip. "You want more drama, especially at the dancing?" Mom looks at my face as she thinks. "Just think about it, if she knows, she'll be making huge trouble and dad will ban me forever." Mom sighs. "I guess you're right." I give her a kiss on her cheek. "Where's my son?" She smiles and points at the garden. I see Bryan and Sean running after Jamaal. They're laughing. "What about Britney?" I look at the house. "She's still asleep." I nod and sit down on the bench. "Give him another aspirin if he keeps groaning, okay?" Mom asks as she looks at Frances. "I will."

I watch them and look at mom walking to the stables. Frances turns and came to sit down next to me. I look at her as I sip some more coffee. "So, have you thought about where to live here in Pampa?" I think about her question. "Is the dance school still running in town?" I look at her and see her smiling. "No, it went out of business years ago. Not many people are interested in dancing anymore. Besides the country dancing that is." I empty the mug as I think. "Is the building sold or something?" "No, it's still standing empty. No one seems to be interested in it." "Not even to turn it into something else?" "It nearly falls apart. It requires a lot of work and money. At least, that's what I heard."

"Is Marcia still alive?" Frances smiles. "Yes, she's living in the retirement home. I check on her once every two weeks." "When are you going to check on her again?" "Next week on Wednesday. Why?" "Would you mind if I go with you? Then I can ask her about the building." She nods and takes my hand. I look down and turn my hand to intertwine our fingers. "So that means you really want to let your dream come true?" "Yeah, very much so. I'll get the people here in Pampa to dance again." She chuckles a little. "I'm sure you will, but where are you and Bryan going to live?" I look at the boys as I think. I look back at her and think about our conversation from yesterday in the woods. "You told me you got a big house." I whisper. She giggles now.

"I have, it has five bedrooms and three bathrooms." My eyebrows go up. "So many bedrooms?" She giggles about my face. "It's the old house from Ben. Will and I bought it from him when he retired." "Where's Ben living now?" "In the retirement home, since he's alone, the house was too big for himself." "What about Will?" "He's living in LA, you know that." "I mean with the house." "I bought his half from him when we got divorced, so the house is fully mine." "Isn't that expensive?" "Did you forgot that I'm rich?" I inhale deeply and nod. She chuckles and looks at my beard.

"So, does this mean you wouldn't mind if Bryan and I move in?" She looks in my eyes. I hold my breath and she starts to smile. I bite my lip. She let her fingers go through my beard. "I would love to have you and Bryan living with Sean and I." She whispers. I give her a smile and she gives me a soft kiss on my cheek. "You want more coffee?" I look at my mug and back at her as I nod. She takes the mug and went inside. I lean back and close my eyes, I inhale deeply. I hope this headache will be gone soon. My son came to me, Sean follows him with the ball. "You okay, dad?" I open my eyes and smile at him.

"I'm okay, just having a hangover." "You were really wasted. I've never seen you this drunk before." I chuckle a little and pat on the bench. He sits down as he keeps looking at me. I look at Sean with a smile when Frances came back outside with my mug. "Here you go." I take the mug. "Thanks, Baby." She smiles and went to Sean. I watch them hug, I smile and look at my son. He sees my face and smiles too. "What would you say if we would move in at Baby's?" I see him making big eyes. He looks at Frances who gives him a nod. I see Sean starting to grin. My son looks back at me. "Are you serious, dad?" "Yeah, I don't see why we shouldn't move in." "What about Britney?" "Don't you worry about that, okay?" He keeps watching me. I can see him thinking.

"Okay, but are you and Baby together now?" I look at Frances with a smile. She smiles back. "We'll be officially together when the whole situation is over." Frances answers. Bryan looks at her. "You got a big house? Dad can be very messy." Frances starts to laugh about it. "Don't betray me now, son." Bryan chuckles. I grab him so I can hug him. He hugs me back. "I would love that, dad, it would be amazing to live here in Pampa." I give him a kiss on his head. "My house has five bedrooms, so you'll be getting a room for yourself." Bryan looks at Frances with a smile. I let him go as he wants to stand up. I watch him going to Frances, they hug. Sean came to me and hugs me.

"Oh." I chuckle a little as I hug him back. I didn't expected this reaction. Frances smiles. "Seems the boys love the idea." I look at her and smile. "I think so too." Bryan turns and smiles. "When can we move in?" "Very soon." I answer. "You can have the room next to mine, it's as big as mine and then we'll be sharing a bathroom as well, no parents allowed." Bryan looks at Sean. Frances and I chuckle about it. "Sounds amazing." "Let's play some more ball." Sean runs to the garden. Bryan quickly runs after him. Jamaal has disappeared. Frances and I look after them and I couldn't stop smiling. "They're happy about it." Frances whispers. "Yeah, I've never seen my son being so happy before." She looks at my face. "I want you both to be happy." She sits down again. "I'm happy, Baby, with you." She takes my hand and we watch the boys.
