Shirley's private jet gravitated over the surface of Venice, Italy. Down below, vegetables could be seen rowing gondolas across the waters. The scents of pasta and other Italian foods pretty much covered the air, women were seen hanging clothing on a line.

"It's so beautiful." Laura smiled.

"It certainly is." Shirley replied. "Our first stop is at "Ristoranté de Limoné", a popular pizza eatery."

"Oh, cool!" Junior exclaimed. "Can we get some pizza?"

"No." Shirley responded, rather abruptly. "We're on a mission, remember?"

"Aw man!" Junior sighed.

Once the plane landed, the kids, along with Shirley, walked inside the restaurant.

Music played from within; beautiful violins and accordions, plants sprawled around the tables as decorations, tea lights illuminated everything, much like fireflies. Over in the kitchen area, a lemon with a long, wispy mustache was seen bringing out a delicious pizza from a warm, flaming brick oven, with peppers, mushrooms, and sausage. He gave a sigh and took in the smell.

"...bellisimo.." he smiled.

"Uh, Limoné?" Shirley called. "You there?"

"Ciao Shirley!" The lemon exclaimed, rushing over to hug the leek. "Wait, who are-a these a-keeds?"

"Limoné, these are some kids we're training to become the first American C.R.I.S.P. agents!" Shirley smiled. "Say hello, children."

"Hi mister Limoné!" Annie smiled. "I'm Annie!"

"My name's Laura!" Laura introduced herself.

"I'm Percy.." Percy smiled and introduced himself. "I like your mustache!"

"I'm Junior. Can I have some pizza, please?" Junior asked, still focused on pizza.

"You got pizza on the brain, man." Laura chuckled.

"Oh, of-a course, son-a!" Limoné replied, giving Junior a slice of pepperoni pizza.

"Wowwww..." Junior sighed after he took a bite of the slice. "Thank you so much—This is AMAZING!"

"I only make-a pizza with a-the finest ingredients.." Limoné smiled. "Is-a my pride and joy-a."

"Limoné, we need to find...the thing.." Shirley said. "Would you happen to...have it?"

"Oh...si, I do..." Limoné replies, winking. "Come-a with-a me-a, children and-a Shirley..."

The Italian lemon led Shirley and the kids over to a private room. He pulled open a secret compartment on one of the walls and reached inside.

"I have with-a me, the cranial transmitter-a for the device-a." Limoné said, handing Shirley a small box. "Guard it wisely..."

Suddenly, there were a few sharp knocks at the door.

A crew of carrots and asparagus walked into the restaurant, flipping the "open" sign to "closed". Their leader was a very tall figure wearing a black suit, with an ironically tiny black bowler hat atop his head.

This was Strange Career, a very tall zucchini.

"OI! WHERE'S THE OWNER O' THIS ESTABLISHMENT?!" He hollered in a gruff British accent. "LEE-MONEY, I KNOW YOU'RE HERE!! GIMMIE THAT TRANS-MI'AH!!"

Limoné walked out first, sneering at the man.

"So sorry, Signore.." Limoné said, pulling out another pizza from the brick oven. "BUT THIS-A RISTORANTE EES-A CLOSED!!"

Limoné tossed the pizza—as though he was hitting a home run in baseball—directly at Strange Career, the cheese searing his face.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH IT BUUUUUUUURNS!!!!" Strange Career screeched.

"GO SHIRLEY!!" Limoné hollered. "TAKE-A THE BAMBINOS!!"

Shirley took the kids and ran out of the pizza place. Suddenly, they were cornered by Strange Career's minions.

"USE THE DEVICES I GAVE YOU, KIIIDS!" Shirley exclaimed.

The kids looked back at Shirley and winked.

"ACTIVATE LIQUIDATOR!" Percy exclaimed.

"There's a man who leads a life of danger

To everyone he meets he stays a stranger"

In no time at all, the gun loaded up with red fluid and blasted at Strange Career, turning the huge zucchini into a blobby, gooey mess with eyeballs.

"Looks like you'll need to pull yourself together!" Shirley replied to Strange.

"With every move he makes another chance he takes

Odds are he won't live to see tomorrow

Secret agent man, secret agent man"

"ARMS, GIVE IM' A HUG!" Junior exclaimed.

The extend-o-arms shot out and wrapped one of Strange Career's minions into a death grip.

"I suppose this makes you my main squeeze!" Junior snarked at the minion, who could barely breathe.

"They've given you a number and taken away your name

Beware of pretty faces that you find

A pretty face can hide an evil mind

Ah, be careful what you say

Or you'll give yourself away"

Junior loosened his grip, making the minion fall into a watery grave in the river.

"S'cuse me, little lady..." an enormous gourd—one of Strange Career's minions asked Annie. "Got the time?"

"Sure do." Annie replied, adjusting her spy watch. "It's half-past—"

SOK!*

A boxing glove on a spring popped out from within the watch and socked the huge gourd, making him tumble to the ground.

"—K.O." Annie replied.

"Odds are you won't live to see tomorrow

Secret agent man, secret agent man

They've given you a number and taken away your name"

Laura gripped her sword, pressing a button which activated the laser. When a couple of Strange Career's minions took out guns, she SLICED them in half, making them shriek and run from the small carrot girl.

"Shouldn't bring a gun to a sword fight, bub." She replied.

"Secret agent man, secret agent man

They've given you a number and taken away your name

Swingin' on the Riviera one day

And then layin' in the Bombay alley next day"

Once the minions had all been defeated, Shirley activated her ship's remote.

Immediately, the ship came barreling towards her and the kids—and knocking over a number of gondolas in the process.

"SORRY!" Shirley yelled as she grabbed the kids and went inside.

"Oh no, you let the wrong word slip

While kissing persuasive lips

The odds are you won't live to see tomorrow

Secret agent man, secret agent man

They've given you a number and taken away your name

Secret agent man"

"Glad that's over..." Junior said, panting from the exhaustion.

"Oh, my dear boy." Shirley said. "I regret to inform you that we've only just begun the mission. We're gonna encounter more of these blokes."

Junior fainted out of his seat.

"I'm gonna need another pizza..." he replied.
