Ending note:
Hello Everybody! It's been a minute. Thanks for being patient with me. After writing this story I burned out a bit and needed a breather before I continued on. The support everyone continued to show meant the world, and I was overwhelmed by the number of readers who checked up on me. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
I have decided that this story is finished. I was originally going to write part 2 in the same fic, but after much thought, I decided this story has reached the conclusion I wanted, and I would rather leave it as a complete work.
That being said, please check out my new work "AT MY SIDE"
It is a direct sequel and picks up right from where this story left off. The first chapter is already up, and all future updates will be on that story. The reason I did this is that the next part of the story is a little more open-ended and I wanted to have the freedom of a brand new story. I hope that you all will show the same support on that work as you have this one.
Lastly, I just wanted to say one more time how incredibly grateful I am for all of you. When I started writing this piece I was not in a great place, but all the feedback and love I received really helped pull me out.
