Ok recap of Ch. 10: Lyra, one of the other queens who is being held captive at Macavity's hideout with Bombalurina and Demeter, is pregnant and is having morning sickness. When Lewis, one of Mac's guards comes down to bring her to Macavity, he discovers this and is ready to reveal this to Macavity. Vela, Lyra's sister defends her and ends up attacking and killing Lewis. The situation caused a lot of commotion and led Macavity and some of his other guards right down to their cell to discover the situation for himself. Lyra and Vela are both taken away and will likely never be seen again.

I Hate to say this but this chapter will also be a little graphic so read at your own risk

More time went by, and besides there only being three queens left in their cell, things remained relatively the same for them. Without Lyra around anymore, Demeter was Macavity's sole favorite and bared the brunt of his wrath. Bombalurina felt helpless not being able to protect her sister, but after seeing what happened to Lyra and Vela, her tough and protective demeaner was dwindling.

It was another morning. Bombaluria laid curled up around the other queens, snuggled close to them to preserve as much body heat as possible to fight off the cold from the drafty underground corridor they resided in. Fortunately, that night instead of a nightmare, she was able to dream about being back in the junkyard where she and her sister were safe and cared for. The dream was abruptly ended however, by the same sound that had woken her up the day Lyra was discovered to be pregnant. Bomba immediately shot up and looked around wildly. Her heart sunk to her stomach when she saw Demeter hunched over in the corner the same way Lyra had been that fateful day. She forced her weak body up as fast as she could and rushed to her sister's side.

"Dem what's the matter." She asked frantically, holding on to a small sliver of hope that it wasn't what she feared.

When she finished that round of vomiting, Demeter looked up at her sister, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"I think I'm pregnant" she answered in a whisper almost too quiet to hear.

Tears welled in Bomba's eyes too. If they didn't think fast they would without a doubt wind up like Lyra and Vela.

"If he finds out he's going to try and kill it Bomba" Demeter sobbed, wrapping her paws around her stomach.

At first, Bombalurina couldn't decipher how Demeter could possibly want a kitten belonging to their awful captor, but she knew given their past, she wasn't likely to ever abandon her baby, no matter who the father was. The scarlet queen shook her head.

" No Dem he won't touch you or your kitten" she declared "We're going to get out of here ok? Don't give up on me, do you understand?" she asked this as she firmly gripped her sister's shoulders, slightly shaking them.

"But how?!" Demeter asked, still crying "We're so weak and if we get caught he'll kill us no doubt."

Bomba knew this to be true but she still stuck to her determination.

"We'll figure that out later. First we need to get rid of this puke."

While they were talking, Lila woke up and heard enough to gather what was going on. While Bomba and Dem used the water that was left for them in a dish to flush the vomit out the best they could, Lila went to working on something by herself.

After Demeter's vomit was almost unnoticeable, except for the smell, they sat and quietly waited for someone to come for them. Since Lewis was no longer around, another agent named Anthony came and fetched someone for Macavity every day.

Soon into relaxing the best they could on the damp stone floor of their cell, they heard a scraping noise and noticed Lila working in the corner.

"Lila?" Demeter asked "What are you doing over there?"

Before she could answer, they heard the corridor door creak open. Lila's head perked up and she quickly scampered to the wall next to the door of the cell. In her paw was a piece metal that looked to be broken off one of the deteriorating cell bars. While the sisters were busy hiding the evidence of Demeter's morning sickness, Lila had been at work sharpening it into a shank.

As Anthony came strutting down to their cell and began fumbling with the key to unlock it, the grey and cream tabby pushed herself as close to the wall as possible, and waited for him to open the door and come in.

"Good Morn-…Arrrghhh".

Before he could even finish his sentence, Lila plunged the sharpened piece of metal into the Tom's neck. His knees immediately buckled and he quickly fell to the floor, blood spilling out of his neck and mouth and pooling around him.

"RUN" Lila yelled, prompting both sisters to jump up and do so.

They ran as quickly as possible across the cell and out the door, however, before they went any further they stopped and turned to face their savior.

"Aren't you coming?" Demeter asked desperately.

Lila shook her head "Don't worry about me! Just get out of here!"

They stared and tried to comprehend Lila's words for a moment, before they reluctantly continued to attempt their escape without her.
