As the toms entered the junkyard with the two queens, all activity in the clearing stopped, and every cat not in their den was staring in disbelief.

Munk continued towards Jellyorum and Jennyanydot's den, not paying any attention to the onlookers, Tugger, Alonzo and Coricopat right behind him.

Jenny was putting her two young sons down for a nap when she heard the curtain door swing open. When she turned around and saw who was cradled in Munkustrap's arms she gasped. Right behind him, came Tugger and Alonzo who were supporting Bombalurina on either side as she limped into the den.

"Everlasting Cat!" She cried and rushed towards them.

She looked at Demeter's unconcious and badly maimed body and let out a sob. She then looked at Bombalurina who looked like she was fighting to stay awake.

"Oh Bomby darling is it really you?!"

Bombalurina let out an anguished breath "Yes Jenny" she answered. She let out another deep breath before her legs gave out on her and she tumbled into Tugger.

"Oh dear bring them in here" Jenny instructed. Tugger lifted the scarlet queen up and followed Jenny into the back bedroom to the beds that the two queens used to sleep in before they were abducted.

Heavily pregnant Jellyorum was napping in her room when she was awoken by the commotion coming from the other part of the den. She sat up and listened. It wasn't until she heard Jenny say "Oh Demi" that she shot up and ran to see what was happening. She ran to the doorway of the back room and saw Jenny standing over the beds of the two queens, Bombalurina now unconscious just like her sister.

Jelly gasped causing Jenny to turn around. The fur on her face was wet with tears.

"A a are they alive" Jellyorum asked in a quiet almost whisper voice. Jenny nodded.

Jellyorum got closer and looked down at both queens . They were covered in gashes head to toe and both had lost a considerable amount of weight since she saw them last. Just then something about Demeter caught her eye so she took a second look.

"Oh Jenny!" she cried, and pointed at Demeter's rounding stomach. Jenny looked at where Jelly was pointing. Her eyes widened as she covered her mouth with her paws.

"She's pregnant!" Jenny exclaimed and gently placed a paw down on Demeter's abdomen.

After observing the damage, both queens got to work tending to them. However, after a little while, Jellyorum had to tap out and enlist Cassandra to take over as the stress was too much on her unborn kittens. After they did all they could do, the queens left the room and let the sisters sleep.

Jenny made her way to the entrance of the den and emerged out of the curtain where she found the toms sitting and waiting. All stood when they saw the Gumbie.

"How are they?" Munk asked first.

Jenny shook her head. She was clearly exhausted.

"They are in a bad way, but they'll survive".

"Are they awake?" Tugger asked next.

Jenny shook her head. "I wouldn't be surprised if they slept for days".

The toms nodded.

"Is she..is she really pregnant?" Munk asked, fear and sadness clear in his voice.

Jenny sadly nodded "I'm afraid so dear."

Munk took a long breath and nodded again, trying to hide his true feelings.

"You did good Munkustrap" Jenny said "You all did" she said looking at Tugger and the other two toms. "Now go get some rest. We will let you know when you can come see them".

The toms nodded one last time and turned off towards their dens.

Munk was still trying to process the day. He couldn't believe they had actually found them. Most of all however, He couldn't believe that Demeter had fallen pregnant and was to have that evil red tom's kitten. It was so wrong. She didn't deserve this. He also knew that despite it all, Demeter would still love that kitten and probably ignore how he or she came to be. Munk hated the idea of it, but deep down he knew he needed to support her if was going to be the mate she deserved.

Once he was back in his den he curled up on his bed and closed his eyes.

Just as he was drifting off, there was a knock. Munk quietly groaned and open his eyes. In the doorway stood Old Deuteronomy.

"Dad?" He groggily asked, rubbing his eyes.

"Hello Munk."

"Dad we found Bombalurina and Demeter."

Deuteronomy nodded "I know son, well done"

Munk nodded, but the expression on his father's face didn't show the appropriate excitement.

"Dad What is it?" He asked.

Deuteronomy entered the den and took a seat in a chair across from his son's bed.

"I need to tell you about some things."

"About?" Munk asked suspiciously.

"About the Red tom."
