Notes:

1. I'm just a mere fan of Boku No Hero Academia

2. Some spills from BNHA Season 1-4 ahead.

3. English is not my first language.

I was inspired on how heart melting Kacchan's sudden burst of emotions after Allmight's fight with All for One.

I thought, 'why not see more of his vulnerable soft side?'

Anyway, I hope you like it!

Chapter 2: The New Student

By the afternoon, Aizawa returned to the classroom with Kairi.

The whole class, excited to know the mysterious girl who made Katsuki silent without exploding anyone of them, looked at her and listened eagerly as she was introduced.

"The school has organized an "Adopt A Student Program". Her name is Kairi. She will be staying with your class and the dorm for now."

Kairi, now wearing a UA uniform, smilingly bowed.

Mina, who couldn't contain herself, started asking questions like, "Were you Bakugo-kun's long lost girlfriend? How old are you? What school were you from?"

Followed by Kaminari Denki's "What quirk do you possess? Do you warp, too?"

Followed by Mineta Minoru saying, "You can sit beside me!"

Followed by Aoyama Yuga saying "I sparkle, you sparkle, we both sparkle."

Aizawa, getting more irritated than this morning stared at his class as if he's ready to murder them all, then said, "Since Bakugo, who – out of anybody's knowledge, knows sign language, she'll be sitting next to him.

"Eh?" Katsuki flinched, "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH??!!" his face as red as Kirishima Eijiro's hair.

The class just bursted out laughing, "It'll be okay, it's okay. She'll make you become better." Kirishima tapped the blasting boy's shoulder.

Hero Training.

Although Allmight's quirk has vanished, he still insisted to teach the Hero Training subject; he believes that his experience is more than enough to teach the saplings.

They put their costumes on and went to Ground Beta.

"Although you have finished your internships, there is a lot of things to do in order for you to control your quirks. Make them stronger as well as adaptable, manageable." Allmight preached, "have you heard about The Limit?", he added.

Izuku started mumbling as he wrote it down on his notebook, "Limit... I have heard about it after our boot camp. If we're going to identify the limit of our physical power as well as our quirks, what could happen?..." and the mumbling continues.

"Deku! TEMEEEEE... shut it!" Katsuki blasted the ground Izuku was standing on.

"We have always have the motto to go beyond the limit. Plus Ultra. But what is really beyond the limit?" Allmight asked the young ones in front of him... looking then at the girl wearing the UA PE uniform instead of a hero costume.

Smiling, "Simply, opening a gate to a greater power in order to achieve or reach a goal. For heroes, it is for us to save one's life." Allmight relayed. "But in going beyond the limit, we have to have control. I have learned it through the past and recent battles that I have experienced. I went ahead, not thinking of what could happen to me and what the people dear to me would feel, if I sacrifice myself and go beyond limit – a limit that I could not control. That is why today, I would like to teach you how to go beyond limits in total control. You are a team of heroes. If, in possible danger, as much as possible, it is better to fight as a team.

The class was divided by teams to fight, once again, with teachers.

The restraints are more loose than before.

TEAM A composed of Deku, Uravity, Ground Zero and Kairi.

"Ne, Kairi-chan, what's your quirk?" Uravity asked.

Flusterred, Kairi signed... "I go back in time. At 3 hours max."

Uravity and Deku just stared and looked at Ground Zero, expecting him to translate what their new classmate said.

"Going back in time. At 3 hours max." He grunted.

Suddenly, something hit him.

Going back in time...?

The alarm signalled them that the test is about to start.

It was a lot harder than they had expected.

Ground Zero, who was known to do things alone, ended up looking after the new classmate.

"Oy, pale face! Why're you here anyway?! You're supposed to be excused in this class!" he growled.

"Thank you for worrying about me" she signed smiling.

Blushing from the girl's smile, Katsuki looked away as he uttered, "Just...don't get in the way. Do what you're tasked to do."

"Uhn," she responded as she smiled while following Katsuki's lead.

"The plan is to know the "villains" plan," Deku said, before the test started.

"Since Kairi can go back at three hours max, maybe we will know their strategy for this test," he added.

"That is... MAYBE." Ground Zero, surprisingly joining the team's planning.

"Something's different with Bakugo-kun" Uravity thought looking at Katsuki; she then averted her look to her classmate and smiled smiled. The silent girl looked so eager to know more about the plan.

"Oy, round face; it depends if this pale face could actually carry the plan," looking at the silent girl who shyly avert his eyes. "I'll just blast whoever we get first," Katsuki smirked.

Principal Nezu along with Eraserhead and Snipe are their opponents.

Finding the Principal was already hard enough.

Deku remembered how much of a great thinker the Principal was when he fought with Kaminari and Mina. It was as if the heavens befell upon them.

"Oy! Pale Face!" Ground Zero yelled. "OOOOOOOOOOOOY!" He growled.

Kairi, as if hearing Ground Zero's voice brought her back to earth, jolted and took a step back.

She almost bumped into Ground Zero, who, suddenly stopped in front of her.

Being pulled out from her thoughts, she slipped to the ground and landed on her back.

Quickly she held her lower torso.

Ground Zero panicked for a bit.

""What was that strange feeling?"

He sighed as he looked at the strange girl, he seemed to be in a daze.

She signed, "I'm sorry, I got lost in my own thoughts," while scratching her head.

Making himself refocus on what was happening, Ground Zero responded in a calm voice, "Just... make a signal if you wanna go back to the nurse's office."

Babysitting isn't my thing," Ground Zero trying to revert himself back to his grumpy attitude.

"Thank you," she signed smiling, but this time, it's different...

He doesn't know what it was; why he felt how different that smile was.

He just somehow... knew.

The two found Snipe, trying to aim his gun at the pink and green costume wearing students; Deku and Uravity were already having their difficulties battling with Eraserhead.

Ground Zero launched a surprise attack with his Stun Grenade, making a way for Kairi to hold Snipe's head.

I can go back in time, three hours max.

I just need to get in someone's mind.

It's like... travelling with the person.

Seeing their memories.

I could search for it... the fastest?

60 seconds.

"The limit?" Deku asked.

I won't be able to move.

As if, in a trance.

As Kairi settled her fingers over Snipe's head, she was indeed, in a trance.

Snipe was the same; he stood frozen in the middle of a battleground.

Within 5 seconds, Kairi fell back. Her chest tightened and she was gasping for air.

Something happened.

Snipe, although released, still paralyzed, as if his time stopped moving.

Upon observing that something is wrong, Aizawa, as quick as he can, used his quirk.

Kairi, who's turning blue, was able to breathe, and Snipe, who seemed to have lost his energy to stand on both his legs, was able to move again.

"The limit." Deku mumbled.

Ground Zero stood, also immoblized, frightened of what might have happened if Aizawa wasn't there.

It's as if he knew, that if he didn't "erase" that quirk, he will never see her again.
