DISCLAIMER: I do not own Sue Thomas FBeye or any of its characters, so if you recognize a person from this program or any other (I might put in a cameo here and there), know that I do not own them at all. All scenarios and people that you do not recognize, I own that, though they might be inspired from something else, but in no way is it copying them. If I am missing something in this copyright notice, please let me know!

KEY: Italics are a memory, and all caps is ASL. Sorry, some of my ASL grammar is bad. I only know some ASL, so if anyone knows how to properly say any sentences I write in ASL, please let me know, and I will change it to be how it should be!

NOTE: In ASL, SMACK means love. There's a sign for LOVE, but usually when you say you love something (more of an object. I personally would use LOVE for loving a person, and SMACK for loving a food item, or something of the like.), you say SMACK. Also, BE-RAISED is really grow up, but ASL's direct translation is that.

TRIVIA: Bit of an ASL lesson. What is a mouth morpheme?

BONUS: This one's a bit harder because it's a Deaf culture question. What is the reverse significance of Jack telling Howie "later"?

Myles sighed as he an Cathi were 32,000 feet in the air. The mask was making the trip very stuffy, but he was forced to wear it. He looked over at Cathi. She was sleeping, but had such a sad look on what he could see of her face, his heart broke. Those two weeks were hard in that house, but there were happy times, when she remembered a happy memory, but what happened immediately after was too much for either of them to bear. Over the past week, she was feeling better, so it seemed, and he really hoped she would feel better being back home. Just then, the light came on that they would be landing, and to put on their seatbelts. He leaned over and gently shook Cathi.

"We're home." He said when she looked at him. She nodded and prepared herself for coming home.

?-?

Sue, Jack and Howie were watching Palm Sunday virtual church. Sue had found a Deaf church that was streaming their services, and so every Sunday, the three of them watched. Sue loved watching church in ASL. The church that she usually went to was a English church, but they had an interpreter, but sometimes the interpreter didn't do such a great job. She loved watching it in its purest form. If it wasn't for her Mom, she would always go to a Deaf church. But her Mom wouldn't understand everything that was going on, same as Jack, who was intently watching the service, but not quite grasping everything. Howie wasn't much of a religious man, but enjoyed watching the ASL, trying to learn some ASL, very inefficiently.

"What'd he say?" he asked Jack.

"I, uh, um," Jack replied, trying to respond to Howie while still watching and understand what was being said. "Later, OK?"

Howie pouted. No one was helping.

Soon, it was over, and Sue got up to shut the TV off.

"So, what are we doing today?" Howie asked, quickly getting over his anger.

"Do we have to do something every day?" Jack replied, exacerbated that Howie asked that every single day.

"What? Can't I wonder?"

"Sometimes I just like to relax, and not do anything." Jack replied.

"Well, I like to do something every day." Howie replied.

"How about you come with me on a walk? Sunny really needs the exercise, and I need the fresh air." Sue intervened, always trying to make peace. It was extremely hard with two men in the house. Especially ones that one-sidedly tolerated each other.

"Sure!" Howie replied, jumping up.

Sue smiled at Jack. He slightly smiled back. "TRUE BUISNESS YOU WANT GO-OFF WITH HIM YOU?"

"DON'T-MIND" She replied, smiling. "Besides, it'll give you some quiet time."

Jack nodded, looking away, thinking of what would be happening about a month from then, but Sue didn't know anything about it. He nodded, thinking that it would be a good time to think about the finalities. He had to change a few things because of the new situation. Sue smiled and walked towards the front door, where both Sunny and Howie were waiting. He then heard the door close, and he was in a perfectly silent house.

"Ahhh. Now time to fix the situation!" He said, leaning back on the couch, thinking very hard.

"Your wife said to tell you that she's sorry, but the hospital won't let her in here anymore, but she will pick you up the moment you're ready to leave." The nurse said, walking into the room.

"What?!" Bob said, startled by the news. The nurse looked a bit startled herself from his outburst, but he quickly recovered. "She wasn't doing any harm."

The nurse didn't say anything, but just nodded, and turned to leave, her task finished.

Bob smiled widely after she left. "So that's how Carla got in here. " He started laughing.

Sue, Sunny and Howie were walking near the edge of the neighborhood, where the apartment complexes were when they saw a man pulling some sort of cart with stuff down the sidewalk, his back towards them. He was pulling and pulling, but it wasn't coming very far. It looked like he was going to try and pull it down the access sidewalk, which was only a few feet farther.

"Excuse me, but we need to pass, please. "Sue said when the three of them were standing some feet behind him.

No response.

Sue frowned, but shrugged it off and started walking towards the street to walk around him.

When the man saw them walking around him in his peripheral vision, he waited until someone looked at him again, then he gave a sympathetic look. "SORRY."

Sue looked at him with wide eyes. "YOU DEAF YOU?"

He returned the wide eyes. "YES. YOU DEAF YOU?"

Sue smiled and nodded. "COOL."

"WOW." The man signed. "YOU LIVE NEAR YOU?"

Sue nodded, pointing in the direction of her house, accompanying it with an 'ee' mouth morpheme.

He nodded. "MY NAME SHANE." He replied, then gave her his namesign.

Sue smiled. "HELLO! NICE MEET YOU. MY NAME SUE."

"YOU ME-TOO." He replied.

"YOU NEW HERE?" Sue asked, knowing she never met him at any of the Deaf events she's gone to in the area.

Shane nodded. "ME MOVE YESTERDAY."

"WELCOME!" Sue replied, smiling.

Howie pulled on Sue's sleeve. "What's he saying? Are we going?"

"Why don't you go on? Sunny and I would like to chat a bit more with him, OK?"

Howie shrugged. "OK." He then proceeded on his walk.

"YOUR BOYFRIEND?" Shane asked as Howie walked away.

Sue laughed. "NO. FRIEND."

"YOU HAVE BOYFRIEND?"

Sue smiled. "YES."

"DARN." He replied, smiling.

Just then, Sue's phone vibrated. She motioned that it was ringing, then she answered it. "Hello?"

"Hey, it's Jack." The interpreter said.

"Hi."

"I just got an email. We've got our next case."

"And you're excited?" Sue asked, seeing the interpreter act a bit excited when she interpreted what Jack said.

"Yep. It's one of substance again. No more little cases."

Sue smiled. "I'm happy we have a case that makes you interested. You've been going a little stir crazy inside."

"Yeah, but I think Myles should go undercover this time. He seems more right for the job." Jack replied. "We will be involved, but I'm not sure how much, yet."

"Oh?"

"I'll tell you when you get home."

"Alright! Be home soon!" Sue said as she hung up.

Shane waved for her attention. "YOU LAWYER YOU?"

Sue frowned and shook her head.

"ME LIPREAD, YOU SAY CASE." Shane replied, explaining.

Sue nodded. "OH-I-SEE. ME WORK FOR WHO? FBI."

Shane's eyes grew wide. "REALLY? BE-RAISED ME WANT WORK. ME SMACK MYSTERY!"

Sue smiled, seeing his excitement.

"IF FBI ACCEPT YOU, MAYBE ACCEPT ME SAME?" He asked.

"MAYBE." Sue replied.

"MY DREAM WHAT? FUTURE ME FBI AGENT."

Sue slightly smiled. "ME NOT TRUE AGENT. ME HELP AGENTS."

"STILL, MAYBE." Shane replied.

Sue slightly nodded. "ME NEED GO."

"SEE YOU AGAIN?"

Sue nodded and smiled, then continued on with her walk. Sunny wanted to leave anyways. There were many more trees to sniff!

"I wonder what kind of case we have now?" She mused as she walked home
