Spider-Man/Batwoman Heroes United Chapter 2
Earth Prime, Gotham City.
Batwoman was working a warehouse bust as she fought dozens of Alice's Wonderland Gang goons. One by one Batarangs and grapple yanks took them all down until the last one was left. The lady good scooted back out of fear as Batwoman fast approaching goes for the interrogation. She picked the goon up demanding some answers.
"I've heard rumors that The Wonderland Gang has expanded beyond Gotham. Tell me where you're setting up shop and maybe you can limp out of here to the police!" Demanded Batwoman. "Screw you Bat! I ain't saying nothing!" replied the goon. "Wrong answer" Batwoman replied. But before she could start breaking bones, she was getting a call. She awkwardly try to ignore it as it came off as a really bad time but she eventually stepped to the side and answered.
"Who the hell is this?" asked Batwoman. "Uh yeah hey uh miss Kane, ma'am, it's Peter" replied Peter. "Parker this better ve good. I'm in the middle of something important" Kate replied. "It is. Some new gang called Alice and The Wonderland Gang expanded to New York. I caught some trying to rob an ATM. They said that Alice is apparently trying to work with some of the crime bosses in the city. I'm gonna need you're help. I can't take them all. Not by myself" explained Peter. Kate took a moment to pause as she looks over the goon she was trying to interrogate.
"I'm on my way to New York. Give me some time" replied Kate as she hung up.
Meanwhile back in New York as Peter stood on the roof top, he hung up his phone and put it on a pocket as a blur of orange lighting drops off Kate and speeds off.
"Oh wow. That was fast." said Peter. "Wanted to take the cycle all the way here but figured why not have a Speedster drop you off faster" explained Kate as she took off her cowl. "So what's the deal? Why is The Wonderland Gang here in New York?" asked Kate. "Something about expanding the empire and taking over both Gotham and New York. We got to stop these guys and get them the hell out of the city." said Peter. "Relax Parker. Frankly these guys shouldn't be much trouble for the both of us." added Kate.
Then the sirens of Police cruisers wail throughout the streets with gunshots blasting.
"Guess it's time for the night shift" said Peter. "Yeah well, I always work the night shift!" added Kate as she puts on her cowl. Peter puts on his mask and looks over at Kate. "Let's do this" he said as he spun a web and swung with Kate leaping off the roof and gliding with her cape.
A squadron of cruisers were in hot pursuit of a group of cars that just recently robbed a bank. Gunshots were fired from both thr robbers and police as the leader jg this heist was none other than one of Spider-Man's foes, Shocker. Shocker recently took the job with the aid of the Wonderland Gang proving that they were indeed everywhere throughout the city.
Spider-Man and Batwoman arrive as the webhead lands on the hood of Shocker's car as Batwoman lands in the hood. The driver steers left and right to try to shake them off.
"Oh hey Herman! Long time no see! Do you mind pulling over so we can grab a cup of coffee and catch up?" asked Spider-Man. "WASTE HIM!" Shocker orders as his crew pulls out machine guns and leans out the windows. Then Batwoman stared to punch the goons as Spider-Man yanks the guns with his webs.
"Handle these guys while I take this car down" said Peter as he lifts up the hood. Batwoman continues to punch her way to buy Spider-Man some time as he slingshots his feet into the engine to stop the car and then backflips off of it on the streets. The other cars then stopped as s Shocker, his crew and the Wonderland Gang got out. It was essentially 20 against 2.
"Hey Shock! Mind telling me what you're doing with these guys. Those bunny masks look so ridiculous. You guys on your way to a Peter Rabbit convention?" asked Spider-Man. "You always got bad jokes?" asked Batwoman. "Hey humor is subjective" added Spider-Man as the things rushed over to the two heroes.
