CONGRATULATIONS roban05! Yes! She was an old schoolmate that reunited with her when Lucy and Sue went to a Deaf club.
TRIVIA: What's the thing in Jack's pocket?

Sue and Jennifer chatted the whole evening, Sue learning a lot about everyone at the party. She knew they could use a lot of it to help the case, She just couldn't believe such a sweet woman would be involved in such a scheme. She was too nice. She had to unknowingly involved. A lot of these people had to be unknowingly involved. She cringed at the thought of sorting through them when the case was being finalized. But that wasn't now. She was going to enjoy the party!
"Hey," Jennifer said to her husband, who walked up to her a while later.
"You ready to leave?" He asked her.
"That's it?" Jennifer replied. He nodded back. She sighed. "MY HUSBAND, HIS NAME WALTER. ME NEED GO. SEE YOU ANOTHER TIME?"
Sue nodded. "HOPEFUL!"
They waved, and the couple walked away.

Evan led Jack to a back room. They twisted and turned down hallways. Jack was trying to remember the way back, but he got a bit lost a few turns ago. Finally, they arrived.
"Boss, this is Jack." Evan said to a man sitting at a desk, his back towards them and the desk, looking out the window wall, at the night skyline.
"What can I do you for, Jack?" He asked, not turning around.
"He wants to join our little club.
Finally, he turned around. The chair revealed an older, grey haired man who had a stern look on his face. It was the kind of face you didn't want to see when you were in trouble. "Oh?" He asked.
"Yes, sir." Jack replied.
"Our club is a bit expensive, but the benefits are great. You got that kind of money?"
Jack slightly looked away. "I can get a good amount, sir. One million dollars is a lot. I'm not quite sure I can get that much in such a short a time, but I can try."
The man chuckled. "You sure you're ready to play with the big dogs?"
"Yes, sir." Jack replied.
The chuckle turned into a full-blown laugh. "I like that."
Jack looked at him, a bit confused.
"Respect. I don't get that often. Tell you what, I like you. Give me all you can muster, and we'll see what we can do. Deal?"
Jack smiled. "Yes, sir!"
"But you have to give it in by Friday, you hear? Our pre-investments go in then. Can you do that?"
"Yes sir," Jack replied, a bit hesitant to ask any questions.
"You look like you want to say something. Spit it out." The man replied, seeing the look.
Jack hesitantly looked around and put his hands in his pockets, his right hand clutching something, pressing a button. "What is it exactly that I'm getting into?"
The man laughed. "Just the biggest scheme my mind could think of. You'll see in May. We started this last season, and as you can see, the payoffs are amazing."
"Aw, come on boss, give him a taste." Evan coaxed.
He thought for a few seconds, then nodded. "Alright." He nodded for them to sit at the chairs across from him. They followed orders and sat. "It's the last race of the day. You've bet on a whole pie of horses, but none of them have come through. But you know this last one is the motherload. You sit on the edge of your seat as they load up, your eyes fixed on Sarah's Surprise. You know she's going to win. Soon enough, they're off. Sarah's halfway through her competition at the quarter mile mark, and Popcork, who is in the lead, strategically loses ground, giving in to Greek Goddess, who is in front of Sarah's Surprise by the half mile mark. Soon, Greek Goddess loses ground, and Sarah's in the lead, just in time to cross the finish line, the winner, and all of us a little bit richer. You see what I'm talking about?"
Jack slightly frowned. "I think, maybe." He replied, prodding for more.
"We have the best of the best horses in the club. We dominate the races. Sure, we run in different races not involving each other, but our real moneymakers are home races, when we're all together. That is our secret weapon. Evan tells me your horse is very good, and could probably beat out many of our older horses, and with the correct mindset, you and your horse can go far. So are you in?" He replied.
Jack smiled. "Yes."
The man nodded. "Good."

After Jennifer left, Sue was looking around for Jack, but couldn't find him. It wasn't like she could ask anyone, cause she would break her no-speak cover. Tina caught her, and she was forced to teach her more signs, but finally, she did see him, coming out of a small hallway. They locked eyes, and Jack nodded. She knew exactly what that meant. They got them. She smiled at him through her mask, and she walked up to the two.
"ME WORRIED FOR YOU!" She scolded.
"ME FINE, READY GO?" Jack replied. She nodded.
"See you soon?" Evan asked.
Jack nodded. "Yep." He replied, then the couple walked towards the door. Once the valet got their car and they were driving back to their suite, Sue couldn't hold back anymore.
"So?"
Jack smiled. "We got them."
"Really? How?" Sue asked.
Jack held up the small box in his pocket. "This."
Sue smiled widely. They would be home soon.
?-?
Evan evilly smiled, listening. "You're wrong, we got you."
