Spider-Man/Batwoman Heroes United Chapter 4
As Kate was carrying Peter on her shoulder throughout the city, she pulled out her grapple gun and zipped up to a nearby roof to place him down. "Jesus kid. I owe ya one" said Kate. She looks over at Peter as his suit was a little torn up with tears and scorch marks. It wasn't like Kate walked away without a scratch. She had some scorch marks on her suit and some tears throughout her cape. She then went to check to his pulse. "Still breathing at least" Kate said.
"Kate?" said a voice as Kate turns to see fellow New York vigilante Matt Murdock aka Daredevil. "Murdock" said Kate. "What brings you to New York?" asked Matt. She then steps to the side as she shows him Peter. "You know I'm blind right?" asked Matt. "Oh right. Parker called me in for help after a gang from Gotham made it's way here. We were following a lead in their base but it was a trap. Would've been killed if it wasn't for him saving our asses" Kate explained. "Well maybe I can help. We can take him to my place for now. I could also help out with the Wonderland Gang" said Matt. "How the hell do you know about the Wonderlands?" asked Kate. "You think you guys are the only one fighting these guys tonight? I got a friend who has a tip on who they're teaming up with." said Matt.
"Show me" Kate asks.
Some time later Peter Parker was slowly coming to as he slowly opened his eyes. He groans and winces as he found himself on a couch as he looks around. He takes off his mask as he looks around. "Kate?" asked Peter. Matt Murdock then walks over. "Matt? Where the hell am I?" asked Peter. "My apartment. Kate carried you all the way over here after I found the two of you. I hear you both have a Wonderland Gang problem. I'm here to help" explained Matt. "Where's Kate?" asked Peter. "Right here. Good to see you awake." Kate tells him. "You carried me all the way over here? Gee thanks. You really saved my ass. Thank you" said Peter as he sat up on the couch. "You saved my ass first. If anything I owe you" said Kate being sincere.
"Yeah well, you can thank me after we stop the Wonderlands" said Peter. "I said I had a friend who had a tip on who they're working with." Matt began. "Was it Jess?" asked Peter. "Yes." Matt replied. "Jessica Jones? What is she? P.I?" asked Kate. "Yeah actually" added Peter.
Matt then pulled out a folder full of pictures Jessica Jones took for him while she was investigating the Wonderland Gang. "Just got these from her not too long ago. We were gonna have the team try to take them down ourselves but seeing how you both are already working on it, figured you should see these" Matt explained.
Matt then pulls the pictures out of the folder and placed them on his table. Peter gets up from the couch and walks over to see.
Peter then picks some up as he goes through them. As he takes a look he begins to see some familiar faces. Rather a familiar gang.
"The Maggia?" asked Peter in shock. He continued to go through the photos as his eyes widening at the sight of an old foe. "No, no no no this can't be!" said Peter. "Who is it?" asked Kate. "Hammerhead" Peter answered in anger. "What?" that's impossible, we put him behind bars" Matt adds. "Bastard must've made bail or probably has someone on the inside" Peter theorized.
Kate then takes the picture and noticed another individual in the photo. "There's someone else. Looks like Hammerhead's boss" Kate adds as she refers to as a tall albino like individual. Peter takes the picture as has a look. "Must be Tombstone. When we I took down Hammerhead for the first time Jess told us about this Tombstone guy as this big boss type of guy. Maybe it's him pulling the strings. If we don't stop him, he'll take control of both The Maggia and The Wonderland Gang. Odds are he'll take over Gotham when he's done here" said Peter. "We're not gonna let that happen" Kate assured. "We gotta get some answers" said Spider-Man.
As he said that, Matt's phone went off. "Hello?" Matt answered. "Matt, it's Luke" said Luke Cage on the other end of the line. "Cage, what's up?" asked Matt. "You mind getting a hold on on Parker, one of his baddies Electro is wrecking Harlem. He's got a crew too. Need some backup" said Luke. Matt hands Peter the phone as Peter replied "Cage, it's Peter. Don't worry I'm on my way and I'm bringing back up" said Peter as he looks over at Kate and hangs up.
"Where's our next stop?" Kate asked. Peter puts his mask back on and replied, "Harlem".
