Welcome everyone! I hope everyone is ready for the new chapter. I want to first thank everyone for the support. I appreciate the reviews and glad people are enjoying this sequel.
Also, yeah for those who aren't aware of this let me explain the story. This is a crossover of Marvel (my AU Cinematic Universe version) and Injustice: Gods Among Us. So, this is taking place six years after the first game and a year after the second game. It also takes place years after Endgame, except in this version Captain America is the one who uses the stones to kill Thanos and not Tony.
So, Tony lives and has two daughters in this version. More info on this will be explained to those who ask. I worked on the timeline and even build my own OC Marvel team. Too bad I am going to do my best to keep it nice and simple around here.
Anyways, last time we saw the others finding out what happened to Arthur and Thor. Now, they have to come up with a plan to keep Darkseid from getting the rest of the Infinity Stones. Will they succeed in their plan? Or will history repeat itself.

Chapter III
New Gotham (year: 2019)
It was a quiet day in New Gotham for the citizens as they went about their day like it was nothing. They were all out going to their jobs, going shopping, or just enjoying the day. Ever since Superman was defeated and the new league of heroes began to appear, crime has gone down. Down to the point the people didn't have much to worry about any super villain running around causing trouble.
Most are either dead, retired, or locked up. There were still some criminals, but thanks to Bruce Wayne and his new allies they were given the tools to help fight against the criminals. Even during the fight against Brainiac, the police were able to hold their own until the heroes arrived. But since then, peace had returned to their city.
Up in a nearby rooftop stood Raven, wearing her cloak and hood covering much of her head. She wore her blue leotard along with gray leggings, black boots, and her gold/red belt around her waist. She removed her hood appearing younger than she was before. During a mission a few months ago, she ended up regressing back to a young age.
She didn't mind though since it gave her a chance to spend more time with a certain spider hero that came from the other universe. She looks over to see a young man around the same age as her with short black hair, blue eyes, and tan skin. He also appeared to be wearing regular civilian clothing as he brought her some pizza and soda.
"Sorry I'm late. I was trying not to swing around the city. So, I took my bike," the young man explained as he sets the pizza down on a box along with the drinks. "I'm also sorry this isn't very romantic. I really wanted to help make it look nice."
Raven shook her head as she pulls her hood back revealing her short black hair, amethyst eye color, and pale skin. She walks over to him and used her magic to pull two smaller boxes over so they can sit down.
"Its okay. You know I'm not the type that enjoys big fancy romantic stuff," said Raven who was fine with how their date is going to go. "That's more with Starfire. Thanks though for bringing the food, Ben."
The young man, now revealed to be Benjamin Stacy aka Spider-Man. He is the son of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. Both spider heroes from back in their universe, until Peter was killed. Gwen took Ben to a new universe where they can live in peace. Ben became the new Spider-Man and met Raven after he first arrived to this world last year.
The two began spending time together and one thing led to another…the two ended up dating. Raven didn't have to worry about her emotions getting out of control since she has control over them.
"I'm glad to hear that, but I still wanted to make this a little romantic so…" Ben pressed a button and soon romantic lights appeared around the rooftop and a nice calming song can be heard being played. "I-I hope you like this."
Raven couldn't help but smile and giggle a little with how corny this feels. But she loves it. Looks like she does a little bit of romantic stuff. She's just glad he isn't going all out for this.
"Its perfect. Now, shall we eat?" Raven asked as she sat down in her seat. "We don't want the food to get cold."
Ben nods in agreement as he sat down and begins eating a slice of pizza. "I-I hope you like it. I went to this place that Ezra suggested I try out."
"So, this was recommended by Bridger huh?" Raven asked as she blows on the pizza a little to cool it down as she takes her first bite enjoying how crunchy it is. "Hmm~not bad. Looks like he chose wisely. A lot better than the last food he recommended we try out."
Ben rubs the back of his head while chuckling softly. "Yeah, but I can't blame him for it. The food reminded him of home. So, I guess it was something he enjoyed more than we would. But, he still has his moments and I'm glad he chose this pizza."
Raven couldn't help but agree with him. "I'm just glad I get to spend time with you without any trouble. Truth be told…I-I really needed this."
Ben understood why she feels this way and puts his slice down. "Its almost here isn't it? The anniversary of Metropolis, the people, the Joker, and the others…right?"
Raven nods in response as she looks down at the pizza and begins remembering to a memory, she holds very dear to her. The memory of her time with her friends, eating pizza together at the tower, and having a fun time. She then remembers word getting out of a bomb blowing up in Metropolis, the Joker caused it, and so many people being killed, including her friends. It was a memory she hated remembering because since that day she became a complete servant of Trigon.
"Raven, I know you miss them. They were your family and you wish you could go back to save them," Ben knew all that all too well since he wishes he could have gone back to save his father.
Raven shook her head in response. "Not just to save them, but also stop myself from what I would become. You know after their death that I ended up accepting being controlled by my father, Trigon. How I was used as a pawn to hurt innocent people, to torture them, and kill any who disobey. Every time the anniversary comes around it not only reminds me that I lost my family, but it reminds me of all the horrible things I did."
Ben knew all about this. He knows what Raven did when she worked with Superman and how she was used to torture their victims. Raven though regrets what she did and is thankful for Rachel destroying the demon side of her. But she still remembers all she did.
Ben moves his right hand over and grasps her right hand before he forms a small smile. "We all have things we regret. Things we wish we could go back and fix so we would never feel horrible for those mistakes. But there isn't much we can do about it except live with those mistakes and learn from them. Be better and make sure we don't make those same mistakes again."
Ben stood up and helps her up before he goes over to her. "Its not going to be easy and I know people will give you shit over it. However, so long as you have those who are here for you to help you get through it then everything will be okay. It will be okay, Raven. I'll be here to help you get through this no matter what."
Raven couldn't help but blush a little when she felt Ben holding her hand and began making her feel better. Yes, she knows she knows there are people who don't trust her and still think of her as a monster. But she knows as long as she still has her friends, she will be okay. She knows if Beast Boy or Dick were here, they'd say the same thing.
Raven felt Ben's left hand moving up to her face and the two stare at each other, while she still blushes. "T-thank you, Ben. You really have a way with words."
Ben felt a small blush and nods. "I-I had help," said Ben as the two prepare to kiss when they suddenly heard a loud boom sound being heard. "What was that?"
Raven recognized that noise and puts her hood up before flying up into the air. She looks around and begins looking for the source of the sound. She suddenly sees a portal in the sky being opened, followed by the city's siren going off. She knew that siren means an alien invasion and the people are going to run to the shelters that Bruce Wayne had set up for the people.
"Ben! Trouble! Let's go!" Raven shouted before taking off.
Ben understood as he goes to his backpack and pulls out a container that has his Symbiote, Sym inside eating chocolate. "Showtime, buddy. Let's go."
Ben opens the container and soon Sym attaches itself to him. Soon it covers Ben's body until it begins taking the form of his spider-costume. Except the color is black and shows a big white spider symbol on his chest with two white eyes for him to see. Ben leaps off the building and fires a web before he begins swinging across the city.
Earlier
In another part of the city, there is an event going on in the New Gotham National History Museum. It is in the Lower East Side district of the city and it is home to a number of different exhibits. Exhibits such as entomology, anthropology, zoology, mineralogy, and a new exhibit that was set up. It was set up by the people of the city to show displays of Batman's heroism to the people.
The people made it to show their gratitude to Bruce Wayne and his allies for all they have done for the people of Gotham. They showed mannequins of Batman's enemies, the battles Batman had against them, locations where their epic battles happened, and even a remade model of the Batmobile.
They even made replicas of Batman's past costumes he used that people were able to recognize and got pictures of. Once the exhibit wing opened up it became extremely popular as so many people went to see it.
In fact, two of those people came to check it out. One of them is Barbara Gordon, the Chief of Police. After defeating Superman and defeating Brainiac, Barbara officially retired as Batgirl. She even retired as Oracle. She ended up creating an artificial intelligence program that became the new Oracle.
She made her after she ran to become the new Chief of Police. To continue the legacy of her father and defend the city her way. Oracle was made to help Barbara run the police department and pass on any information to the other officers. All while helping her solve any crimes that come their way.
Barbara came for the grand opening of the exhibit and wanted to look around. She had help from Bruce to help donate some of the stuff he had to the museum so the people can see them. Nothing dangerous of course and most of the dangerous items are must models they replicated. She walks over to one of the exhibits where it shows the history of Batgirl and how she inspired so many young girls.
Barbara couldn't help but watch the video made as a tribute to her and felt a little sad when she saw the video with her fighting alongside Dick Grayson aka Robin aka Nightwing.
It brought back a lot of happy memories, but also some sad ones. She had a great relationship with Dick, and she had hope they would be together. But it appears that was not meant to be. She was fine with it though, but she wishes the last time they saw each other wasn't at his funeral.
"I don't get why you guys wore those outfit," Barbara turns around and sees a young man with short black hair, blue eyes, copper skin, & two scars along his left cheek. "They don't look very comfortable and you guys stand out too much."
Barbara smiled a little at the young man and sighed. "The point isn't to stand out. Its to look intimidating and scare the criminals. Bruce's fear as a kid was bats. So, he wanted to use his own fear against the criminals."
The young man looked back at the suits and understood the idea, but he still has some problems with it. "I get it, but I don't think bats aren't that scary. Now, a Loth-cat? Those are scarier."
Barbara chuckled as she rolled her eyes. "Oh? So, bats aren't so scary. But small furry cats are? Too bad Selina already dresses up as a cat and isn't that scary, Ezra."
The young man is revealed to be Ezra Bridger begins to smile as he crossed his arms. "Kymera dresses up as a cat too and yet a lot of criminals are afraid of her."
Kymera found Ezra after a large ship crashed landed in Wakanda. They found Ezra alive and badly injured along with other survivors on the ship. Kymera took care of Ezra and he was able to recover from his injuries. He explained he came from a galaxy far, far away from the galaxy Kymera and the others are from.
His galaxy was under the rule of the Galactic Empire. Basically, an evil empire that hurt the innocent and kill all those who stand against them. Kymera never heard of the Empire, but James' aunt, Nebula did hear about them. How they come from a far away galaxy where magical sorcerers exist and can move things with their mind.
Ezra explained though that these sorcerers were actually called Jedi and he's one of them. After explaining everything, Ezra was welcomed to join the Avengers. At least until he can find a way to get home or rather home coming to him. In any case, he came over a few months ago and has been part of the small team that would help fight against dangerous criminals if the police can't handle them.
"In any case. I appreciate you coming with me. I know you've been wanting to come by to see the exhibit for a while now," said Barbara as she begins showing Ezra around.
Ezra was very interested in this exhibit since he doesn't know a lot about Batman or why the people love him. "It's no problem and I'm the one that appreciates you bringing me along. Most of the others have been busy helping maintain order around here. I've also been curious about learning as much as I can about Batman. I heard what the others say, but…"
"Its better to learn about it yourself," said Barbara figuring that's where he was going with this. "I completely understand. When I was young, I was fascinated by the stories about Batman. My father used to tell me how he was mysterious, made the city feel safe, rooted out crime, and made my dad believe there was hope for the city. Granted, he didn't always agree with his methods."
"But they worked," said Ezra as they walk up to one of the exhibits showing Batman saving the city from the Joker.
Barbara nods in response. "That's why when I became Batgirl, I wanted to make a difference as well. It took time for me to convince Bruce to train me, but once he accepted, I began doing my part. Helping protect the innocent, taking down dangerous criminals, and saving the day. Back then, I could tell how proud Bruce was of us and how we helped so many people."
Ezra sees a picture of Batman fighting alongside Nightwing, Robin aka Tim Drake, and Batgirl. It made him smile and he couldn't help but flash back to when he fought alongside Sabine, Zeb, Chopper, Hera, and Kanan…the Ghost Crew, fighting together against the Empire.
"Well, I'm glad you all get to share your stories with the people. Maybe even one day when I find a way home, I can introduce you all to my family," said Ezra who didn't mind the idea of the Bat team meeting his family.
Barbara didn't mind that at all before turning to Ezra. "You know, before your friends bring the Infinity Stones from their world to ours, you could ask them to use the Stones to get you home."
Ezra did think about that and had considered it, but he knew it was too dangerous. "The others wanted to use them since they felt it was unfair for Jason to use it to help Kara. But I told them I was fine. You remember what I told you about the Force and what it can do?"
Barbara nods as she recalls what Ezra told her about what he calls 'the Force' and how the Jedi use it. "The Force is what gives a Jedi their power. Its an energy field by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us; it binds the galaxy together. And it allows you to do things like lift things or even sense any danger."
"It also allows us to see into the past and future," Ezra explained before a big mission he saw into the future to see the outcome or at least the possible outcomes.
He saw the different paths that he could have taken, but the one he took was the only one that ended with everyone he loves being safe. It wasn't the path he wanted to take, but he knew it was the only way to save his home.
"I have to admit though. I didn't think the path I took would have ended up bringing me to Kymera and the others," said Ezra as he lets out a small chuckle. "I know with the help of the Avengers they can get me home, but I know I was brought here for a reason. I think it's to help protect the people and keep them safe. I know it sounds crazy, but it's what I believe."
Barbara couldn't help but chuckle and shake her head. "Trust me. I believe, especially with everything I have been through in my life. I'm glad you stayed with the others though, Ezra. And who knows, maybe your friends will come find you."
Ezra couldn't help but let out a small chuckle knowing more than he is letting on. "Yeah, maybe one day."
Suddenly he felt something cold running up his spine followed by what sounds like the screams of so many people echoing at once. Ezra placed his hand on his head and groaned knowing the Force is warning him of something.
Barbara took notice of what was wrong and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Ezra, what's wrong? What is it?"
"I-I don't know. I sense something is coming. Something dark and evil," said Ezra knowing the only other time he ever felt anything like this that send such chills up his spine was Darth Vader.
It was then they heard a loud booming sound echoing around them. It shook the glass and caused the people to panic a little. It wasn't until they heard the alarm going off and the intercom letting them know to get to the nearest shelter that the people began to run in fear. Barbara and Ezra though looked at each other knowing something is going on outside.
So, they go running outside and see a large portal opening in the sky. Followed by a large ship that begins hovering over the city. Ezra has studied the different kinds of ships before from his old universe, Kymera's universe, and this universe. But he has never seen this kind of ship before.
But Barbara has and knew who it belongs to. "Ezra, do you have your gear?"
Ezra turns to Barbara taking notice of the serious look on her face and nods in response. "I always do, why? What's going on? What is that ship? Is it Sinestro or Black Adam?"
Babrara shook her head in response and turns to Ezra. "Worse…its Darkseid."
Meanwhile
"Hello Bruce, its been a long time," said Diana Prince, the former Wonder Woman, and ally of Batman. She stood by with Psimon, Killer Croc, Felix Faust, and an army of Parademons.
"Diana, I see what M'gann told us is true," said Bruce as he stood with by with Abigail Stark, Christopher Strange, Zatanna, Hellboy, and John Constantine. "You are all working for Darkseid. I have to say, I didn't really think you would actually serve him."
"I don't serve Darkseid," Diana replied as she stood wearing her dark armor. "We are only allies. We the Light have agreed to help him get what he wants and in exchange he leaves this world in our control."
"Do you really believe that?" Bruce replied knowing Diana isn't stupid. "You and I both know Darkseid won't keep his word. He'll take the Infinity Stones and use them to force everyone to obey him. Even you and the Light."
"We are fully aware of who Darkseid is Bruce and we know he is not to be trusted. However, you need to focus on your current situation right now," said Diana as she took out her sword and shield. "Now, I suggest you hand over the Time Stone to us or else we will…"
"I'm sorry. But who are you?" Abby asked as she steps forward to speak up. "I mean, you and Bruce clearly know each other. But I don't know who you are," she then turns to Christopher. "You know who she is? Because I don't."
Diana turns to Abby clearly not amused. "I know who you are. You are the friends with the boy who helped lock Superman away. Where is he by the way? I was hoping he'd be here along with Kara Zor-El."
"Oh, they're not here at the moment. But if you want, I can take a message, while you and your friends go back to your master like the good dogs you are," said Abby as she has her arms behind her back pressing on her watch to alert the others.
Psimon steps forward and looks clearly annoyed. "Let's just kill them and be done with it. We don't have any more time to waste."
"I am aware of this, but do not assume they will go down easily," Diana replied to Psimon making it clear she is in control before turning to Zatanna. "Zatanna, I have been told you have the Time Stone in your possession. Unless you want the people of this city to suffer, I suggest you hand the stone over."
Zatanna shook her head. "I am not going to hand you or your allies anything, Diana," she then uses her magic to summon the Helm of Nabu. "I suggest you and your allies surrender, Diana. You know once I put this on, I will do whatever it takes to keep the people of this world safe."
"In order words, give up now or else," said Christopher as he uses his magic to create two fan blades.
Diana sighed as she turns to Bruce. "If this is the path you have taken then so be it," she then turns to Felix Faust. "Bring us the stone."
Felix Faust nods as he begins using his magic to summon a large demon monster. "Kill them," he ordered.
The monster begins charging at the heroes as Hellboy loads his weapon and prepares to attack, but Abby moves her arm up.
"Whoa, whoa, hold on there, buster. I got this," said Abby as she prepares to activate her suit.
"You got this? Fighting monsters and demons are my specialty," said Hellboy who didn't like Abby trying to get in his way of fighting the monster. "Now, stand aside and watch how a pro handles this."
"Oh please, I've been fighting intergalactic monsters that are way scarier than this thing. I can end this in five seconds," said Abby as she activates her suit as her nanites begin appearing around her body to form her Iron Heart suit.
"Guys, how about instead of fighting each other we fight these things?" Christopher replied trying to break up the argument. "Bruce, back me up here. Bruce?"
They see Bruce walking towards the monster as it continues charging at them. Bruce pressed a button on his belt as the bat symbol appeared. Soon, small black nanites begin appearing around his body. It begins forming into his Bat costume, except in the middle instead of a black bat symbol it's a long red bat symbol.
The suit soon covers his head as it forms the bat helmet with two white eyes for him to see through. The monster brings down its large fist, but Bruce dodges the attack and leaps up kicking the monster in the face. It caused the monster to stagger back as Bruce leaps over, grabs its head, and throws him over towards Diana.
Psimon uses his powers to grab the monster and throws it to the side as it crashed to the ground.
"Damn, Bruce. You've been working out?" John asked surprised by what Bruce just did.
"It's the new suit," Abby explained how the suit is a lot like hers, which increased his strength than it was before. "A nice little invention I worked with him on."
"Well, it worked," said John who has to admit he wouldn't mind getting a suit like that.
Diana sees that fighting this group will not be wise, especially if they are fighting together. So, she'll need to divide them. She turns to the Parademons and moves her sword up as the Parademons screeched loudly before flying up into the air then begin heading into the city to attack the people. Bruce sees what Diana is doing and turns to the others.
"Raiden, Hellboy, and John. Stop them before they try hurting any innocent people," said Bruce knowing they have to help protect the people.
Raiden nods as he uses his powers to teleport to the city to attack the monsters. All while John and Hellboy head towards the city to join the fight.
This allowed Diana to have her allies attack the remaining heroes. She then flies over and attacks Bruce as they fly into the air. Bruce head butts her forcing her to let him go and activates his jet boots before punching her away from him. Diana flies back, but clearly shows she wasn't hurt and flies back at Bruce.
She swings her sword at Bruce, but he fires three Batarangs at her from his wrists. She manages to block them with her sword before she swings her weapon at his head. Bruce uses his gauntlet blades to block the sword showing his suit can withstand even Diana's sword. He then punches her back and lifts his feet up to fire his jetboots in her face.
Diana blocks the flames with her shield as she sees Bruce flying away from her. Diana goes after Bruce, while the others continue their fight down below.
While Hellboy, John, and Raiden go after the Parademons, their friends focused on Diana's allies. Psimon lifts some cars and begins launching them at Abigail. Christopher uses his magic to create a portal and opens another for it to fall on Psimon. Abby flies after Killer Croc as the monster charges at her. Abby tackles the creature and takes the fight elsewhere.
Abby launches the monster near a lake as she stood her ground, while watching the monster standing across from her.
"You know. I heard how ugly you are from what Kymera told me. But damn, I didn't think you would turn out this ugly," said Abby as she begins using her suit to scan the monster to see how to take him down quick and fast.
Killer Croc growled and hissed. "You can thank Superman for that. He experimented on me to try using my DNA for his army. I will make him pay after I kill you and your friends."
Killer Croc charges at Abby roaring at her as he intends to bite her down. Abby didn't move and just stood there as Killer Croc grabs her and then bites down on her. Only to scream loudly as all his teeth broke before backing away. He looks down at his broken teeth before turning to Abby.
"W-what the hell are you made out?" Killer Croc was given a drug that made him stronger and made his teeth strong enough to bite down on any metal. Except whatever this thing is made of. "Its like that bitch's suit that I tried biting on. What are you?"
"Did you just call my friend a bitch? Oooooh big mistake there," said Abby who didn't appreciate Killer Croc calling her best friend a bitch.
Killer Croc roared and tries slashing her. But Abby fired a projectile to his head causing electricity to shock him throughout his whole body. Killer Croc roared in pain as the electricity intensified to the point that he fell to the ground. Unable to move and unable to stop twitching as the electricity keeps on shocking him.
"Don't worry. It won't kill you. But it will keep you from moving until the cops arrive," Abby hears a loud explosion occurring from the city and saw what is going on. "Now I better go save Bruce before he gets killed."
Meanwhile, Psimon begins using his mental powers to fire Psionic Blasts at Christopher as he uses his magic to block the attacks. He then begins using his magic to throw small projectile blades at him. Psimon easily blocks the attacks and fires them back at Christopher. However, the young Doctor Strange uses his magic to redirect the projectiles back to Psimon.
However, instead of them appearing above Psimon again, he instead uses his magic to open three portals. One above and the other two from the side of Psimon. Psimon blocks them and scatters them away. This left him open though from behind as Christopher appeared and punches him in the face.
Christopher didn't give him a chance to counterattack as he continued with his own attacks. He kicks Psimon in the gut, punches across the face, and uses his magic to blast him in the gut knocking him across the ground. Christopher then uses his magic to make some rope and wrap it around Psimon. But Psimon uses his magic to summon some vines from the ground and wrap them around Christopher's arms and legs.
Psimon keeps him from using his magic and begins breaking free of the rope. "You are a powerful sorcerer. But your magic is no match for my powers," Psimon prepares to finish him off, until Christopher's cloak leaps off him him and wraps around Psimon's face.
Psimon yells, which is muffled as he tries to get the cloak off of him. Christopher got freed of the vines and rushes over as Psimon uses his psychic powers to get the cloak off of him. Christopher uses his magic to make a portal appear behind Psimon and punches him through it. Psimon is sent through the portal and lands on an island.
A deserted island as Christopher closes the portal and the cloak wraps around him again. "Not much of a psychic if he couldn't see that coming."
Meanwhile, Faust begins using his magic to summon magical projectile towards Zatanna. Zatanna goes to put on the helmet, but sees the projectiles heading towards her. So, she summons a barrier to protect her and then uses the projectiles to fire the magic towards Faust. Faust creates a barrier to protect himself as he uses his magic to form two large hands with sharp claws as he launches them at her.
Zatanna blocks the attacks with her barrier and goes to put the helmet on. But Faust summons a magical snake made out of his own magical aura to wrap around her. It caused her to drop the helmet and goes to bite her. However, Zatanna uses her magic to free herself of the snake and sees Faust firing another attack at her.
Zatanna grabs her hat and uses it to absorb the attack before the hat disappears. She then has the hat appear behind Faust and fire the attack right back at him. Faust gets hit by the blast as he hits the ground. Zatanna goes to finish this, but Faust took out small clay figures on the ground and uses his magic to bring them to life.
Soon five large clay rock creatures appeared and roared as they charge at Zatanna. She begins using her magic to try taking down the rock monsters, while Faust used this chance to attack. Zatanna uses her magic as she begins destroying the rock monsters, until one grabs her arms. She managed to destroy it with one more spell before Faust uses magic spell to silence her to keep her from speaking.
This allows him to use his magic to grab her and pin her to the ground. "How sad. To think you would be the one they entrusted with one of the most powerful objects in the universe. This is why never leave a woman to do a man's job."
Faust goes to grab the amulet that has the Time Stone, until it begins burning his hand causing him to scream. Faust pulls away and sees the smug look on Zatanna's face.
"A protective spell huh? Too bad all I have to do is rip it off your dead body for me to take it!" Faust replied as he uses his magic to create a guillotine and has it coming down to cut her head off. However, the attack is blocked by Christopher's magic as he appears through a portal to kick Faust in the face knocking him away. Christopher then uses his magic to trap Faust in the Mirror Dimension.
It is an alternate realm, which acts like a mirror world to the physical realm. It is where sorcerers can warp the landscape to their needs, without damaging the real world. It is also used to keep people they want to keep trapped inside. However, someone as powerful as Faust could find a way to get freed, so Christopher needs to work fast.
"You okay?" Christopher helps free Zatanna but noticed she couldn't speak as she points to her throat. "I know this spell. Give me a second while I undo it."
Christopher managed to free Zatanna as she notices more Parademons appearing. She uses her magic to get the Helm of Nabu and turns to Christopher.
"You said your father protected the Time Stone from his world, right?" Zatanna asked as Christopher nods in response. She closed her eyes and begins using her magic to remove the amulet from around her neck and have it appeared on Christopher. "Then get it somewhere safe. I will deal with this."
Christopher looks surprised by her decision since he figured after talking about how she wanted to prove she can defend the stone; she'd try proving it. Zatanna knows she can defend the stone, but she knew there is more on the line right now than her own ego. She almost lost her life had it not been for Christopher. As the new Doctor Fate, she has to put aside her ego and focus on protecting everyone.
"I'm counting on you now, Christopher. Keep the stone safe and keep our world safe," said Zatanna as she prepares to put the helmet on as she sees an army of Parademons heading their way. "Promise me this."
Christopher could tell she is really serious and is putting a lot of trust in him. He knows he can't let her down, no matter what. He nods in response as begins taking off as Felix Faust begins to emerge through a portal. Zatanna sighed as she looks down at the helmet before she turns to the enemy.
She soon puts the helmet on and transforms into the new Doctor Fate. Her body begins to glow as she appears in the Doctor Fate uniform and begins floating off the ground as her enemies. Faust and the Parademons look on as Zatanna's eyes begin to glow. She begins using her magic to conjure a spell and attack her enemies.
Meanwhile, Batman took his fight against Diana towards the more abandoned part of the city. The part of the city where the residents no longer live and was going to be demolished to be rebuild. He knew the city better than Diana, so he knew where everything is at. Including, where all the buildings are at, so he doesn't crash into them.
He flies down an alleyway before he turns a quick right. Diana follows him and turns around the corner, but Bruce knew she would do this. When Bruce turned the corner, he flied towards a wall. He pushes off against it and just as Diana turned the corner, he tackles her towards a nearby wall crashing through it.
Bruce leaps over Diana as she kicks up and tries to stab him. Bruce blocks her attacks and fires flash bombs at her causing her to stagger away. Bruce used this chance and charged at her as he begins punching her and tries to wear her down. Bruce then kicks her through the wall towards a construction site.
Diana managed to recover from the flash bombs and from the attacks. Bruce flies out of the building, but Diana throws her shield hitting him in the face. She then grabs a nearby chain and throws it as it wraps around Bruce. She then brings him down through a car and breaking it.
Diana grabs her sword and leaps up to stab Bruce, when Ben appeared and kicks her in the face. "Hi Mr. Wayne. How are you doing?"
"Spider-Man, what are you doing here?" Bruce asked surprised to see the kid is here.
"Oh, I was just on my date with Ra…" Ben's Spider-Sense went off as he barely dodges the shield from Diana. "I um think I made her mad."
"You think?" Bruce replied as he begins breaking his way out of the chain.
"You! I remember you," said Diana who remembers dealing with this boy last year. "You are going to pay for getting in my way. Only this time, you don't have the boy's mother to protect you."
"Good thing he doesn't need protection," said Abby as she flies down with Christopher to join Ben. "But it doesn't mean we're going to let him have all the fun."
Diana took notice of the amulet around the cloaked boy's neck. "The Time Stone, hand it over. Now."
"Not gonna happen," said Christopher as he uses his magic to make fan blades. "I suggest you give up now and tell us where Darkseid is at."
"He's right, Diana," said Bruce as he got freed of the chains and joins the others. "I know your upset with what happened to Clark. But we both know he chose to lock himself up. He made that choice because he realized he was wrong. You know this path you are on will only end in death…come back to us."
Diana looks down and looks at her reflection on her sword. "I wish it was that easy, Bruce. To go back before all of this, before Brainiac, and before the Joker. Back to a time when we were all a family and we looked out for one another…" she then turns to the others and picks her shield up. "But its too late for that. You took him away from me and you turned my people against me. I will make you and your friends pay. And it will end, but not with my death, but yours."
"Then we will do what we must to take you down," said Bruce as the others got ready to fight.
"Too bad, I didn't come alone," said Diana.
Ben's Spider-Sense went off alerting him of danger. "Move! Now!" Ben tackles Abby away and Christopher is pushed away by Bruce as an explosion went off behind them.
Abby begins slowly getting up as she helps Ben to his feet. All while Bruce and Christopher begin slowly getting up. They look over to see Bane, Black Adam, and Sinestro appeared. The three villains begin to join Diana as they surround the heroes.
"Well, this doesn't look good," said Abby as the heroes all stood up ready to fight and defend the Time Stone.
Looks like Diana got some backup. That's not good. Think they'll be able to keep the Time Stone from falling into the wrong hands? Will they succeed in stopping them?
Also, Ezra Bridger is in the story? Whaaaaaaat? Okay, so this I will need to explain. I was originally going to have Ahsoka appear after the Clone Wars.
However, after the way Rebels ended, I decided to go with this idea instead. What if Ezra found himself taken to the Marvel universe? Beyond his galaxy and into the other galaxy. I figured, Marvel owns Star Wars, so they can share the same universe, but in different part of it.
So, basically, he ends up on Wakanda and is found by Kymera. She has him cared for, while he waits until Sabine will come to bring him home. I mean, yeah, he could have come home with the help of the Avengers…but its my story, so he gets to stay. Still, with Ezra in the story, how much will things change having a Jedi around?
