Chapter 28: mission completed

We were all pushed back by the voice Hydreigon used and I thought seeing the dragon in motion once again, meaning it won't be much longer before Blastoise could move freely again. Shaymin kept up the magical leaf attack then hurled itself as Hydreigon. I was getting hurt and Saturn commanded "Hydreigon, use flamethrower on the flower hedgehog" Glaceon tried to defend him using ice beam but the flames melted the ice and hit Shaymin hard. Fortunately, the flames were not as strong and didn't deal as much damage as it could have, giving Shaymin slight burns. He ran to me and hit my stomach and shouted "why didn't you stop that attack from hitting me!?" Uxie and Azelf were getting mad at the Shaymin but Uxie couldn't say much as it was his lover and I couldn't believe he asked such a question with him acting the way he was.
I asked "Sylveon, think you can get Glaceon to swap out with you?" he nodded and nudges Glaceon to me as they swapped place. Saturn spoke "swapping them out won't change the outcome, go Toxicroak attack with poison jab" Toxicroak went to jab at Sylveon however Sylveon dodged and kept dodging as the Toxicroak relentlessly continued out the poisoon jab attack. Sylveon kept parrying the attack and dodging effectively as Saturn commanded "Hydreigon, use dragon breath" seeing the power gather in the 3 heads and I said having an idea "Sylveon, use light screen quickly and blastoise if you can use" I whispered to Blastoise as Sylveons ribbons swayed and seemingly nothing happened. Shyamin tried to attack me again at the same moment Hydreigon attack with dragon breath. The attacks hit the light screen and burst through, Shaymins attacks bounced off of the light screens and reflected away but the dragon breath bounced around the room off of images of me and the rest of the pokemon with me. Saturn was confused until he pieced it together and called out "you used mirror coat" he was right, mirror coat had the capability to reflect the image and reflect attacks back at who sent them using the light screen as a cover for my true plan. but this didn't by much time as Shaymin ran up to me and was blocked off by Uxie.
He snarled lowly as he was angered that his lover got in the way and Uxie shook his head. Shaymin just glared at me as I was still bleeding from the wounds inflicted on me by him. Saturn grinned seeing a plan unfold on how to succeed where others have failed and I didn't like the feeling I was getting. He commanded "Toxicroak use toxic" Toxicroaks cheeks puffed up as he shot venom up into the air and it spread like a blanket of purple liquid. Azelf and Uxie used protect to stop the toxic from hitting then in the blink of an eye Toxicroak used poison jab on both Azelf and Uxie. I caught them and used an antidote on both but Shaymin tackled Azelf and Uxie out of my hands barking "I won't say again, only I can defend them!" he used grass knot to tie me and my team up in plants to stop me from helping and as he turned around he saw Azelf and Uxie were taken by Toxicroak and Saturn laughed as he commanded "time to finish this, Hydreigon use surf and drown them" the dragon waves the other 2 heads as a wave of water came at us all, even Shaymin. I had to think on my feet and quickly.
I didn't have much time to think so I called out "Blastoise, Glaceon use ice beam" they both shot a beam of ice out of their mouths at the wave of water and it froze it all. Though was a good idea in the moment but in doing so, caused all of us to be trapped in a block of ice which spiked out above the cave. Panting heavy and lack of energy from both battling and healing, I also was tired from dodging the attacks of the shaymin. Saturn said holding both the lake spirits "mission accomplished, let's move out" he called his pokemon back and headed out back to the HQ with the poisoned and weakened lake spirits. I wondered what I could do to escape the ice prison then I got heat butted in the stomach and coughed hard. He was snarling at me and barked out "why didn't you save or protect them!? You could have done something but you didn't like you don't care" Sylevon and Glaceon got angry at the Shaymin as he kept blaming me for literally everything that he did wrong throughout this whole battle. I called my pokemon back except for Glaceon and Sylveon, as I don't have pokeballs for them and closes my eyes thinking. Glaceon said "why are you letting him get away with it? You should tell him this is all his fault" Sylveon nodded in agreement but I knew blaming someone, even if I'm in the right to do so, is pointless and doesn't help save the lake spirits.
I thought and thought then I knew what I had to do, I called out Delphox and said "use fire blast" Delphox shot a fire blast at the ice prison and shattered a hole into it and I said "Glaceon, use icy wind" he did and with the aid of the ice around us that the plants tying us up started to freeze and break. I grabbed Glaceon and Sylveon and headed outside then looked around. I was weakened from that battle but I have every confidence that if I battled him again, I'd most likely win. Shaymin followed and declared "I'm coming with you, I'm going to save him and beat those people. I'll head with you then odds are good that the leader will be defeated then the others will be too scared to fight me so I'll save my boyfriend" hearing this I simply sighed exhaustedly. At this moment, I saw Umbreon with Eevee on his back run up to me and nudged my hand. I wondered where he came from until I read his mind, this Umbreon belongs to a good friend, Tank, which means he'll soon be here.
