Chapter 29: to Regigigas

I decided to ignore the Shaymin that wanted to tag along and rest my hand on the Umbreons head then read his thoughts. I closed my eyes and in mere moments, I saw the battles that Umbreon had either seen or been a part of. He felt calm and Eevee was confused as she watched from his back. Not long after I removed my hand Tank wondered into view and I waved. I could tell by the look on his face what he was about to say. "thought you'd end up in trouble" he said in his usual happy joking tone. I replied "figures, when trouble is around you're either a step ahead or a step behind" I smiled and walked to him. We high fived as we both laughed, Glaceon and Sylveon knew that we were good friends while Umbreon was confused with Eevee wanting to play with them both.
Eevee got down and ran to Sylveon then started to play with each other. Umbreon kept an eye on them as Glaceon watched with him. They got along well as me and Tank talked. "didn't expect you to be all the way up here" I said in my usual happy tone. He replied "I didn't expect you up here either, especially after you said you might be busy" he also said in his usual cheerful manner. We were comfortable to talk silly around each other, having been friends for a long time. Shaymin just kept glaring at us as I told Tank "the file gave information that actually helped greatly, the records of the abnormal pokemon behaviour in the region caught the attention of the gym leaders. I was called here to aid in the search to why and the file you gave with dates of when they tried to get the lake spirits match up perfectly to these odd behaviour." he nodded as he seemed to understand the connections. He continued "and the file in my possession also had dates that core side with the attempts on the titans?" he handed me the file and I looked at the dates matching them to the data from the gym leaders from the areas around the caves mentioned. I nodded and told him "these dates and the dates from the areas match up perfectly, they also add evidence that Team Galactic has had a hand with it. With this the gym leaders might have the authority to officially disband the group" Shaymin interrupted "doesn't matter who they are, I'm going be defeat anyone who gets in my way"
Tank looked at the Shaymin with a look of annoyance and said "who's the annoying brat?" Shaymin glared and snarled as I answered "best to ignore him, he'll probably just end up getting in our way" he glared at me as he didn't like being associated with being useless, even though he was. I continued "the lake spirits have been taken" Tank continued "and I have all of the Regi's except the big one, Regigigas" I nodded and suggested "in that case, I'll go with you after all 2 people is better than 1 even if it's you whose battling" he nodded and said "in exchange for your help with regigigas, I'll help you get back the lake spirits" the more we talked the more the Shaymin got annoyed. I could tell he was close to barking again then I turned to Glaceon and Umbreon "ok guys, we'll be making our way to where Regigigas is said to be sleeping" Tank continued "from there since I have the other 3 Regi's, he should be awake the moment he senses their presence at the temple entrance, so we need to be on our guard for when we reach him. He'll be at the lowest room in the temple" Glaceon and Umbreon both nodded as Sylveon ran up to me and Tank with Eevee on his back shouting "wheeeeee" the faster he dashed back and forth.
I looked at Tank as he held the pokeballs with all 3 Regi's and asked "think you can heal them for me?" I nodded and healed them while they stayed in the pokeballs. My wounds were not that serious, only minor cuts, I was fortunate that Tank and I have more important priorities for the time being. Once I had healed them we both nodded at each other then made our way to Snowpoint City. Umbreon picked Eevee up and followed with Glaceon and Sylveon not too far behind. Shaymins ear perked up and he dashed after us, I knew he followed but theres not much I could do to convince the narrow minded pokemon that he's not going to be able to win the battle. They knew what they were doing and they prepared themselves for the best and worst case, based on the pokemon I saw Saturn use against me in our battle, odds are likely the way this Shaymin thinks it would turn out won't happen. We ran to the temple, also known as Snowpoint Temple.
as we approached the temple I could tell, just like Tank, Regigigas will be a tough foe to battle judging from the feeling we both got just from being near the temple. As Tank walked up to and entered the temple, the Regi's he had on him began to glow and the statue in the first room glowed too. Like the temple itself was welcoming the Regi's back to their birth place. I followed and entered the temple with our companions. Shaymin persisted and kept following even when he arrived at the temple. There were stone pillars and a stair case over to the right heading down deeper into the darkened place. Was dark as the temple didn't have windows to let in the light. We walked down to the next room where parts of the floor were frozen and had rocks from where the ceiling had broken and fallen off. The puzzles of the temple were easy to figure out for the both of us and we soon arrived at the room at the lowest point.
in the middle of the icy floor, around the room was ice coated rocks scattered through the room. As the Regi's Tank had glow the dots on Regigigas lit up as he hummed and stood up, turning in our direction.
