Chapter 30: battle at Snowpoint Temple

Our foe was a normal type but even so, his strength is legendary so I can't let my guard down around him. Knowing Nei as long I had, she should have been able to protect the lake spirits. either way we best work together to beat this one, he has strength that's surpasses the other 3 and he's much larger than them too. I threw 3 poke balls and called out Ven, Bas and Lady while Nei threw 3 pokeballs too and called out her Blastoise, Pikachu and Mimikyu. I see why she went with her Blastoise, water type can strength my grass type but why did she pick Pikachu and Mimikyu?
she told Blastoise "use surf" the room flooded with water quickly and my Feebas was free to swim around, so it wasn't just for my Venasaur. Regigigas raises his arm and slammed into the water, we both realised what was about to happen and moved back. As we moved back the water closest to Regigigas froze it, the move he used was ice punch. I called Ven back and Nei called her Blastoise back, I was hoping to use Vens plant powers to hold Regigigas down for more accurate attacks. I saw there was enough water for Lady to swim around in and Metang was still able to battle. She placed her hands-on Pikachu's and Mimikyu's head and closed her eyes, I knew she was talking to them so I decided to strike "Bas, use brick break" Bas flew to and swings an arm at Regigigas he used his arms to block and reduce the damage even so it was still double damage. In the blink of an eye, something moved so quickly and slashed at Regigigas's arms releasing the block and another slashed across his stomach. This pushed Regigigas back off of his balance and these 2 things kept moving fast slashing away, chipping away at him.
Regigigas was getting annoyed and tried to strike back but they used the ice to keep moving and dodge the attacks that were used. Using thunderbolt to attack both of them, but as he aimed for one the lightning would head to the other one. He was confused and I looked at Nei to confirm what I thought, I was right. She used her Pikachu to use iron tail and quick attack to go as fast as it did, Mimikyu used slash to attack and used psychic to move fast like Pikachu did. Not to mention they used the ice he made to their advantage to dodge the swings of Regigigas. The lightning followed Pikachu because of the ability it has, lightning rod which attracts the lightning to it. Umbreon, Eevee, Glaceon and Sylveon stayed back and watched the battle. I knew what I was doing and with what she was doing, I expected no less. The damage being done wasn't anything major but it was helping in both chipping away as well as distracting him so I took the chance "Bas use another brick break" he swung his arm while Regigigas was distracted and dealt double damage. I continued "Lady use surf" thankfully Bas was able to dodge along with Pikachu and Mimikyu was fast enough to avoid the surf. this pushed Regigigas back against the wall.
Nei kept up the attack while I planned mine, with Pikachu using quick attack and iron tail combo, I used a water brick break combo to keep dealing all kinds of damage. The battle was taxing on our pokemon as well as us and Regigigas kept trying to hit them using either thunder punch, fire punch or ice punch. Each time he took a swing, Bas took the chance to strike with a brick break with Pikachu and Mimikyu backing me up using speed and power. As we fought, there was a noise by the stairs, it was the Shaymin. He had finally made it as he ran over to Nei, Glaceon and Sylveon blocked his path, and barked loudly "why are you wasting your time here!? I must save the Uxie and you're gonna lead me to where ever they took him" I sighed and Nei just ignored him and I can see why, she had a more pressing matter to deal with. we were focused on the battle and we appeared to be winning.
Regigigas twitched and raised both arms then he swung them down and strike the ice with such strength that the ice broke and splintered. The ground under the ice even broke and fractured to where we were standing making us lose balance. I watched and thought "much have been its giga impact" that was its strongest move but 90% accurate. So, because of its accuracy, it was able to knock all of us off our feet and Shyamin tried to attack Nei again but Glaceon froze him in his place, like he was caught in. I figured Regigigas was weak enough for me to try to capture him, so I threw an ultra ball at the pokemon and in a flash of light, he was pulled into the pokeball and the red light on the front flashed once then twin and finally a third time before it was fully caught. I sighed in relief and Nei called her pokemon back into their pokeballs, Shaymin was annoyed and snarled more. Lady and Bas began to glow at the same time, they both were evolving. Lady grew larger and scalier while Bas grew more rock like and when the glowing stopped. Bas has become a Metagross and Lady became a Milotic. I called them back and smiled as Nei looked at the Shaymin and sighed. She turned to Glaceon and Sylveon "lets head out" she said and walked out of the temple with them close behind. I wasn't too far behind with Umbreon and Eevee close behind me, we left Shaymin behind. As we exited the temple, I felt a sense of doing what I knew was right then looked to Eevee wondering what she decided to evolve into. She yawned as it had gotten late so me and Nei headed to the nearest inn. There we rested in separate rooms, me with my team, Nei with hers and staying in a third room was Umbreon, Eevee, Glaceon and Sylveon.
