Spider-Man/Batwoman Heroes United Chapter 9
Spider-Man swings himself onto a rooftop with the full moon glowing behind him. He sits down as he takes off his mask getting a good view over the New York City skylight. He takes a deep breath as he takes a load off knowing his city is safe for another night.
Batwoman then uses her grapple gun and join him as she came with pizza. "Pizza time!" said Kate as she took off her cowl and sat down next to him. "AW NICE!" said Peter as he opened the box and takes a slice. "Frankly it's been a long night for the both of us. I'd say we earned it" said Peter. "Ain't that the truth" adds Kate as she takes a slice of pizza.
"So. I'd figure you'll be heading back to Gotham now right?" asked Peter. ""Yep. But I'd figure I'd share some famous New York City pizza with you before I head off.
"I appreciate the help Kate. Truly I do. Given any other night, I'm glad I called you" said Peter. "That's real sweet of you Parker. Frankly I'd do it all over again if you need me" said Kate. Peter then tries to go for a hug as Kate stops him. "Look, don't take this personally. We may be friends now, but I don't do hugs. I'm not even that friendly with Kara yet." said Kate. "I'll get through that badass layer of yours. One day" said Peter. "We're just... not there yet. I'm not there yet" adds Kate. "How about a fist bump?" asked Peter. "That I can do" Kate replied with a smile as she fists bump Peter.
As the two finished their pizza, a shadow appeared in the form of a Cresent Moon as it got closer and lands behind them.
"Spider-Man! Batwoman! I've come for you both. I need your help" said a mystery voice. The two quickly turn around as they see a man in all white in a hood and cape as it folds over his arms.
"Oh hi Marc" said Peter. "You know this guy?" asked Kate. "My name is Marc Specter. The Moon Knight" said Marc as he pulls down his hood and takes off his mask.
"What the hell do you want with us?" asked Kate.
"Dark forces are at play. A supernatural being walks among us as he plans to bring hell on earth with his dark army." explained Moon Knight. "And who is this Supernatural being?" asked Spider-Man.
Moon Knight looks up to the moon as he says,
"Dracula"
The End.
Moon Knight will return in "The Paragon Knights".
