Welcome everyone! I hope everyone is ready for the new chapter. I want to first thank everyone for the support. I appreciate the reviews and glad people are enjoying this sequel.
I am happy with how things are going, and this is going to be a long chapter. It wasn't supposed to be, but hey that's what happens when you write up a chapter. You start off trying to keep it short, but then you begin adding more stuff into it. You get into the mood and before you know it the chapter goes on longer than expected.
I'm not complaining, and I bet none of you will either. Anyways, last time we saw Ahsoka and Sabine being brought into the story. We found out Ahsoka's connection with the heroes and now she wants to help Arthur get what he needs. Think they'll succeed in creating a weapon that can kill Darkseid?

Chapter VII
Avengers/Hall of Justice HQ
The Avengers and Justice League have been working around the clock getting things ready for the possible invasion by Darkseid. The team knew it is inevitable, especially since they have the Mind Stone. They had warned the world leaders and told them what is going to happen. The world leaders didn't like that the Justice League and their allies kept the information about these Infinity Stones from them.
They felt they should have been told about them and should have kept at least one of the stones in their country. However, President Jefferson Pierce defended the heroes and brought up the many times countries had such powers in their hands in the past. How they abused it, they threatened others with it, and killed innocent lives to keep it. He's glad the heroes didn't tell them about the stones because the way the leaders reacted is what he knew would happen.
Once that calmed down, the heroes explained about their current situation and how Darkseid is coming. They have called on their allies to help them for the upcoming invasion. For the time being though they will need to evacuate the citizens. The world leaders all agreed knowing the Earth's history with Darkseid and how dangerous he is.
So, the heroes began spreading their forces around to help with the evacuation. Even calling upon former members and even villains who want to help protect their world. It seems there were those who refused to join the Light and have volunteered to help. They may be villains, but even they wouldn't work for someone like Darkseid, especially what he's after.
Abigail is seen with Jason, Kara, Hall Jordan, Selina, Barry Allan, and Lyra finishing going over their plan for the possible battle. They knew that Darkseid will come for the Mind Stone. Fortunately for them, they have Cyborg in a secure area in Paris. They would teleport him to them, but Abby had activated the machine Batman had been working on.
To prevent anyone with Boom Tube technology from being used on the planet. They know without it, Darkseid won't be able to send his forces to the planet. They also didn't want to risk transporting him until the team Abby send gets to him. So, until then they have to wait.
"All right. So, we've managed to contact Donna and Mera to see if they can assist us in the fight. They both agreed to help, and we've picked the proper battleground," Abby show the location where the battle will take place.
"China? You sure you want to take the fight there?" Jason asked figuring that's not a safe place to take this fight with a large population in this country.
"There's an isolated place here where we can take the fight," said Abby as she showed the proper location in the country where the battle can take place. "It's devoid of wild, plant, and human life. I actually had set up some equipment there just in case we would have to fight against an army who were after the stones."
"You prepared for something like this for a whole year?" Selina asked who was surprised with how quick Abby set this whole thing up.
Lyra nods in response. "We actually had prepared for different scenarios that involve either the stones or another invasion from an unknown enemy."
Kara couldn't help but be impressed with Abby and how well she planned for all of this. "I'm surprised you didn't try picking a different fighting place."
"We had considered Chernobyl. But Lyra is using it as a possible location to hide one of the stones from our world," said Abby.
"Chernobyl…really?" Jason asked who looked surprised at Abby for the place she picked. "You want to pick a place with so much radiation that it might end up poising us?"
"If there were any radiation," said Abby as she showed a holographic image of the city and shows no radiation levels. "It literally took Lyra a few weeks to find a way to absorb the radiation in the area and make it livable again. Of course, the public don't know about this."
Lyra walks over and shows no signs of any human life around. "I chose it also to study some of the effects the radiation had in this world. However, for the time being our fight will be here in China."
"Provided we have our army for this fight," said Hal who wasn't sure if the Atlanteans will fight with them.
"Mera may not like us, but she'll have to understand the importance of this fight," said Kara knowing the queen of Atlantis will have to let whatever anger she has against them go. "Donna has reassured us the Amazons will fight. Just in case though, we're bringing as many volunteers from Wakanda and Asgard to help us out.'
"Maybe some more," Jason brings up how his mother is bringing the Ravagers and some more backup. "She'll be here soon to fight with us, while the Ravagers fight around the world. However, Mr. Stark will not be able to send more reinforcements to help us."
"It's to be expected," said Abby knowing why her father couldn't risk sending more of their own.
With Darkseid knowing about their world, what's to stop him from trying to get his hands on the other stones. The ones from their world and try making it submit too? He could do it if he succeeds here. That's why they have to do the best they can to stop him here before it's too late and he takes the fight to their world.
"Well, let's hope things will work out here then," said Hal as he turns to Jason and Kara. "Listen, I'm sorry to say this, but if your expecting the Guardians to lend a hand…they won't. Jessica and I are the only ones they are allowing to join in this fight. Our forces are spread too thin after what happened years ago."
Kara and Jason both understood. They knew that the Green Lantern Corps had just barely filled their ranks again. They don't want to risk losing anymore of their own, especially in a fight against Darkseid. Even New Genesis will not come to Earth to help them and are doing all they can to keep Darkseid from getting the Reality Stone.
So, they are on their own.
"We understand and we're just glad they are allowing you to stay here to fight with us," said Kara who appreciates Hal staying with them.
Hal smiled a little and nods. "Truth be told? They tried to call me and Jessica to come back. But I told them I'm not abandoning my home and my friends. I'm staying and that's that. Although, I did try to get the kid to leave since I feel she isn't ready."
"She'll need to be," said Jason knowing there isn't much choice at the moment to fight or not. "If we don't stop Darkseid now then the whole universe is done for. We have to stop him here otherwise everything we have fought for years to achieve will be for nothing. So, we stick together, don't back down, and we fight."
The team begin smiling knowing Jason is right. They can't fail. They can't let everything they worked hard for end in failure. They have to stop Darkseid from getting what he wants otherwise they will become his mindless slaves.
This is their chance to change it all and win. They just have to try and not give up.
"All right. You heard the man. Let's get to work people!" Abby turns to Barry and Hal. "Barry, your going with Team Three in Africa. I'm also placing you in charge of the team. Same for you Hal, you're in charge of Team Four in Mexico. Selina, your going to stay here with the kids and be safe until this is all done, okay?"
Selina nods in response as she turns to Kara. "I'll keep them safe. You all just come back alive, okay?"
Kara nods promising they'll be back before she turns to Jason. "We should go say bye to the kids."
Jason agrees and follows his wife as they begin taking off. Hal and Barry soon took off too knowing they are on the clock. This left Lyra with Abby, who just received a message from bacj home. Abby looks over it and soon sighed in annoyance.
"Something wrong?" Lyra asked when she took notice something was wrong.
Abby turns to her friend and nods. "The Asgardians aren't coming," she replied as Lyra looks on surprised by the revelation. "It seems with Arthur and Thor gone, the Asgardians aren't sure about joining the fight. I guess they're lacking in leadership."
"What about Valkyrie and Loki?...okay what about Valkyrie?" Lyra asked while correcting herself knowing Loki is the wrong choice to lead an army.
"Loki is devastated by the death of his brother and nephew," said Abby as she walks over to her table and begins pressing some buttons as holograms of different iron suits appeared. "Valkyrie is a mess since she feels she failed to keep them both safe. And Jane…she doesn't know what to do."
Lyra knew this is bad. She knew her mother had gone through so much after what happened with Hela and with Thanos. So, losing Thor, who helped bring her back from the pit she was in, and losing Arthur who she looked out for. She just hopes her mother isn't drinking again.
"What do we do then?" Lyra asked.
Abby turns to her friend and sighed as she keeps looking through the suits she has. "Kymera has reassured me that her father has agreed to lend us a hand. I can only hope more of our friends form back home will help us out."
Lyra knew with what is going on and how many allies Darkseid has they will need all the help they can get. "By the way, did we find out how Christopher got captured? Maybe we can get a clue on who else is working for the Light?"
Abby was way ahead of her friend as she begins looking through the video surveillance and has it appeared as a realistic hologram in the room. Abby had set it up for Bruce to act as small miniature cameras to help them keep an eye on things.
"From the looks of things, it looks like Batman's ex is involved in this," said Abby as she sees a group of ninjas looking people and a familiar woman appearing over Christopher's unconscious body.
The video soon shows the woman is none other than Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Ra's al Ghul. The leader of the League of Assassins or League of Shadows or however the people of this universe like to call them. Abby heard that she was reported dead along with her father. It seems they were mistaken, and she is very much alive.
It also seems like she is now working for the Light. If this is true, then this is bad. The League are trained warriors and have connections to high government politicians and officials. If they know how to track down the stones, then they'll be able to find where Cyborg is at.
Abby knew the security team they had set up should be able to handle these assassins. But she knew they must know of a way to get in and try to steal the stone. They can't allow this to happen and will need to deal with these assholes soon. Abby knew to defeat ninjas they will need some ninjas of their own.
"Lyra, I think it's time we call in cap and see if he'd like to come in to help us out," said Abby before getting another idea. "And see if our ninja friends are ready to join in the fight."
"It would be better than spending time eating pizza and pestering me," said Lyra as she decides now is the time for them to pull out all the stops. "Anything else?"
Abby sees the perfect suit to fight with and cracks her knuckles. "Time to initiate the house party protocol for the upcoming fight."
Lyra begins smiling a little and knew she is right. "Sounds like a good idea."
Unknown Location
Vandal Savage is seen walking down the hallway of his secret hideout. Savage had this place set up during Superman's reign on the world. It impressed him how far the greatest heroes of this world had fallen into pieces thanks to that crazed clown. Savage did want the Justice League destroyed, but he never imagined destroying them from the inside out.
He wasn't sure if that was Joker's intention, but if it was, then it worked like a charm. All those years battling against these heroes and trying to find a way to defeat them amounted to nothing but failures. Yet, thanks to Joker, he managed to defeat the greatest heroes in the world and turn them on each other. Even turn the world's greatest into the most powerful and dangerous dictator in the world.
He has met plenty of dictators and was one several times, but this was different.
Still, the clown's plan worked too well. Not only did Superman hunt down all the dangerous criminals, but he also made it difficult for Savage to take over. With no restraints, Superman could kill anyone he wanted. Even Savage.
Yes, he is immortal. But he has never recovered from a heat vision powerful enough to burn even ashes. So, the chances of him coming back from that was unlikely. But once these new heroes showed up, the tables turned to his favor.
At least, that's what he thought. But these heroes were different. They weren't like the Justice League at all. They were a lot harder to defeat and kill than the League.
At the rate things were going he knew there was no way they would win. But when he heard about the Infinity Stones and what they can do, well that was enough for him to make his decision.
Savage knew this will likely end badly for him, but he knew it was a risk he was willing to make. He soon entered his office and gets on one-knee as the hologram image of Darkseid appeared.
"You called for me, my master?" Savage asked as he bowed his head to him.
"I have been told of your success on Earth retrieving the Time Stone. Well done. Is it on its way to Bylan 5?"
Savage nods in response. "As promised. We've also located the Mind Stone and we have sent the League of Assassins to retrieve it."
"Were there any difficulties?" Darkseid asked.
"A few minor annoyances, but nothing we couldn't handle. With your help of course," said Savage who thanked Darkseid for his assistance. "However, thanks to Batman, we are unable to use the Boom Tube to come to you to bring you the stone."
"It won't matter. They have nothing that will keep me from using the Space Stone from arriving," said Darkseid as the sound of fighting can be heard in the background.
Darkseid uses his Omega Beams and kills the enemy that came charging at him. "Once I've finished with New Genesis and retrieved the Reality Stone, I will require the Soul Stone. Have your people found it yet?"
Savage nods in response as he shows the location of the planet. "We've also found out how to retrieve the stone as well. We insist you let us retrieve it due to what it will require from the one who seeks for the stone."
Darkseid heard what was needed to obtain the Soul Stone and knew he would be unable to get it. So, using his pawns to do all the work for him will be for the best.
"Very well. But remember, if you and your people fail to bring me the Infinity Stones then the deal will be off," said Darkseid as he reminds Savage of their agreement.
"I haven't forgotten," said Savage knowing he couldn't forget what the deal was. "We will help bring you the Infinity Stones and in the end we both we what we want. You get the universe and we get the planet."
Darkseid appeared silent with what Savage said before he spoke. "Yes…of course. Now, get going and bring the stones. I will be with you soon."
Once the transmission ended, Savage stood up and begins smiling a little. Oh, he knows what Darkseid is planning and knows it will happen soon. That's why once they get all the stones then he'll make his move. Savage has dreamed of this moment for such a long time.
He has been alive for thousands and thousands of years, yet he never found anything close to the power of the Infinity Stones. Once he has all six then all he has to do is snap his fingers and the universe will be his. Of course, he'll need to make sure all those who follow him will do as they are told. He'll also need to take care of Diana before she ends up betraying them to help the heroes.
He soon took out his phone and begins contacting who he has in mind to take care of the Amazon princess. "I have a job for you. How would you like the opportunity to exact some revenge against Diana Prince?"
Savage waits for the response and sighed softly. "No, I feel like she has become a liability. I don't want to risk her ending up helping them. I'll even send you some backup to help you against the heroes."
Savage gets the response and soon turned off his phone knowing soon the princess will be taken care of soon. "I'm sorry, Diana. It's nothing personal, but like you told me before…anyone who becomes a liability or fails then they must be taken out."
Paris, France
It is nighttime in the city as the people are seen heading towards the bunkers. They were told by their president that a possible alien invasion is coming, and they will be taken to the shelters for protection. The people didn't panic, there were no riots, and there was no signs of people losing it. Everyone was calm, cooled, and appeared all right with what is happening.
This is mostly because this isn't the first time their world had been invaded. This has happened before, but they had faith in the heroes of protecting them and saving the day. They knew they did it against Brainiac and even against Superman. So, all they had to do is wait and see what happens.
Meanwhile, in the United States Embassy, Victor Stone aka Cyborg appeared to be looking out through the window. He appeared human thanks to the new ring that he invented to make himself look human. He had come to Paris to spend time with Aya and have a good time together. However, they were told what happened and had to be brought here for protection.
Victor had hope to finally have things going back to normal and things would be peaceful, but it seems that wasn't going to happen.
Victor had with him the Mind Stone, which he wanted to keep with him for safety. He found the stone a few months ago and had it attached to him so it would be kept safe. It was risky, but he knew locking it in a vault would be even more risky. And this way, no one would suspect he would ever have it.
Victor groaned softly as he rubs his chest. A woman with long green hair, green eyes, and fair skin walks over wearing a robe that covered much of her body. The woman appeared human, except for a lantern symbol on her chest. She walks up to Victor and placed her hand on his chest.
"Are you all right?" the woman asked.
Victor turns to her and smiles a little. "I'm all right, Aya. I just need to stretch my legs."
The woman now revealed to be Aya knew he was hiding something. Aya had worn the same ring Victor had and appeared human. She managed to modify her human appearance until she was satisfied with how she looked. It wasn't bad, but she knew it was so the two can finally have some time together.
She knew it involved the stone in his chest, but she didn't want to make a big deal out of this. She knew they had already too much on their plate with everything that's going on. The last thing she wants is to cause any sort of trouble. She leans in and begins giving him a small kiss on the lips before she smiles at him.
"I assume you couldn't sleep either?" Aya asked.
Victor nods as he sighed softly. "I hate this. I want to be out there to help my friends and keep our world safe. But I have to stay here until the transform for the stone and come to pick it up. It stinks."
Aya knows the feeling and wants to help out their friends. But she knew she has to keep Victor safe, no matter what. At least until they can remove the Mind Stone from his body. She walks looks down at his chest and pressed her hand on it as she sees the glow of the stone through the skin.
"I know you were tasked to keep the stone safe, but you shouldn't have kept it inside of you," said Aya who was worried about Victor's decision with the stone.
Victor begins chuckling softly and nods. "Not the best idea I've had before, but it was necessary. I couldn't leave it secured somewhere where the enemy could find it. I also wanted to test the stone out and see what it can do."
"And what did you find?" Aya asked.
Victor placed his hand on Aya's hand before grasping it. "In the universe your friends came from it has the ability to control the minds of others. Bending them to the user's will. This stone possesses the same ability, but it also enhances the user's mental and psionic abilities. Allowing them access into the thoughts and dreams of others."
"I assumed you tested this to conclude what it can do," Aya asked figuring that's how Victor found out about what else the stone can do. "Who did you test it on?"
Victor chuckled a little and with his free hand rubs the back of his head. "On some bad guys to find out what crimes they committed. I also had Rachel try it out, which increased her mental powers. As far as testing it to see what someone is dreaming…please don't hate me. I tried it out on…you."
Aya didn't seem surprised with this revelation. She knew if Victor was going to test it on someone while they slept it would have to be someone safe. So, testing it on her seemed like the safe choice. She didn't seem to mind it since she…she wondered if she could dream or not.
She wasn't completely a machine. She was a living being that could sleep like everyone else, but she wondered if she could dream since at times she couldn't remember what happens before waking up.
"And what did you see?" she asked.
Victor was glad to know she wasn't angry with him. He was worried she'd be mad at him for entering her dreams without permission.
"Well, I saw you…me…together. And with a baby," he replied explaining what he saw in her dreams.
Aya was happy to hear she could dream, and it was something nice. Something she wasn't sure if it was possible for her and Victor to even have. They were together and she is happy for it. But to have a child together…that sounds impossible.
"Was it a boy or a girl?" she asked now curious to know what gender their baby was.
Victor sighed as he shook his head. "Couldn't see, but I could hear the baby and I could feel how happy it made you. You all right?"
Aya sighed as she stood back from Victor and looks out the window. "I'm not sure. When I first regained my memories, I was happy. I mean, I was already happy to be with Jason and the others, but to know my past and what I am, it filled in that hole that I felt was missing in my life. When we got together, I was worried how it was going to go considering how different we were."
Victor knew the feeling all too well. "To be honest? I never thought I would even be in a relationship. I've tried before, but it never worked out well due to being half-machine. That's why I was happy that you wanted to give me a chance, even at times when I still felt like I didn't deserve any happiness for what I did."
Aya turns to Victor and shook her head. "You made mistakes, Vic. But you came back from the darkness and you helped save the world. That's why I don't have any regrets being with you despite what other people say. And whether or not we have a child…as long as I'm with the man I love then that's all that matters to me."
Victor was happy to hear this. He knew there were still people who haven't forgiven him for what he did and they have every right not to forgive him. But he's glad to be with someone who loves him for who he is and he is with someone he loves. Even if they can have a child or not as long as they are together nothing else matters.
"I love you, Aya," said Victor as he took her hands and held them.
I love you too, Victor," said Aya as the two begin leaning close for a kiss when the building shook and they soon heard the sound of an explosion. "Trouble."
Aya and Victor pulled their rings off revealing their real forms. The door opened and they see Artemis Crock with Rose Wilson entering the room.
"Trouble?" Victor asked.
"Big one," said Artemis as she got an arrow out and motions behind them.
Aya and Victor turn around to see a gorilla slamming his hand on the window, but it was reinforced so it didn't break.
"A gorilla? We're being attacked by Grodd's forces?" Victor asked as he sees the ape continue trying to break through the window. "I thought we broke their forces when Arthur defeated Grodd?"
"Looks like Grodd got his mental powers back somehow," said Rose as she shows on hologram Gorilla Grodd with his army attacking the embassy. "Terra is holding the fort down with Firestorm and Blue Beetle. But we need to join them. We're here to get two out of here."
Artemis fires her arrow, which latches on to the window. It then sends electricity through it and shocks the gorilla causing him to fall to the ground. Rose goes to the wall of the room and pressed her hand on a secret panel. It causes it to open and reveal a secret room.
"My father is downstairs waiting for you both. Get going, now!" Rose ran off with Artemis as they go to rejoin the others.
Victor wanted to stay and fight, but he knew if Grodd is here then the rest of their allies will be here soon. Victor and Aya head downstairs following the tunnel until they see Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke waiting for them with a vehicle.
"Happy to see me, boy?" Slade asked almost taunting Victor, especially after their last encounter.
"Your lucky I'm too busy to kick your ass," said Victor as he got in the car with Aya.
Slade got in the car and soon begins driving off. The vehicle was customized by Slade for situations like these and for jobs where he has to protect someone. He drove the vehicle down the tunnel until it leads out and shows they are five blocks away from the embassy. Slade begins contacting their backup and letting them know they are on their way to the airport.
Slade turns a sharp turn and keeps on driving fast. Victor and Aya didn't have any seatbelts on so they had to hold on.
"Take it easy, Slade. This isn't a race. You might hit someone," said Victor as he tried not to hurt Aya.
"Most of the population have already evacuated. So, the only drivers around are the police and they've been ordered to stay out of the way of our path," said Slade as he looks through the rearview mirror to see they have trouble. "Although, it looks like that's going to be a problem."
Victor and Aya look behind them to see five vehicles chasing them and opening fire. The bullets bounced off the vehicle, but Slade knew he'll have to try losing them. He contacted their backup letting them know they are in danger and they'll need help. Until then, he begins turns the car around and drives backwards before activating a button.
Two mini-guns appeared on the hood of the car before opening fire. Not targeting the vehicle's windows or engines since he figures they'll be reinforced too. But at their tires, blowing them off and causing them to crash. Slade soon takes a sharp turn as the remaining vehicles end up crashing into the buildings.
Slade spins the car back around and drives forward again. "Hope you two aren't getting sick back there. You throw up in my car you will be cleaning it."
"I don't get sick, but Victor does look nauseas," said Aya as she tries comforting Victor who looks ready to lose it.
Slade ignored it and keeps driving. It was then he saw a woman on the road and before he can open fire at her, a green energy blast is shot from the woman hitting the vehicle. It caused the vehicle to fly into the air and soon comes crashing down again before it crashes into a building. Despite the crash, Aya kept them all safe using her powers to create an airbag inside for them to safely survive the crash.
All three exit the vehicle as Aya fires a green blast from her hand hitting the woman. Victor and Slade stood ready to fight when a shuriken missed them. They look up to see the League of Assassins have arrived. The armed followers of Talia al Ghul all with swords in their hands as they got ready to fight.
"Go," said Slade as he got his sword and gun ready. "I'll hold these bastards off."
"Like we're going to let you fight them all on your own," said Victor as he got ready to fight.
"I will not leave either of you behind," said Aya as she too got ready to engage the enemy.
"Not like running away will be possible anyways," said a cloaked figure who appeared as he stood next to the woman that Aya attacked. "Before this night is over, you will three will all die, and the stone will be ours."
Victor recognized the voice and scowled. "Damian, I see you're on your feet after getting your ass kicked twice."
The cloak is removed revealing to be Damian Wayne, Bruce and Talia's son. He had a cybernetic right arm and was able to walk again despite getting his spine stabbed by Laura years ago.
"Hello traitor," said Damian as he stood by with other members of the league.
"Well, well. The bastard son has returned. Where's your mother? Hiding in the shadows like always?" Slade asked as he aims his weapon at Damian.
"Don't worry about where my mother is at. You three need to worry about me right now," said Damian as he took out his sword. "Now, Victor. Hand us the Mind Stone and we'll leave you alive."
"What makes you think I have it?" Victor asked while trying to buy some time.
"Don't play games with us," said the woman as her body begins glowing green and begins laughing maniacally. "I can sense the power of the stone hidden inside of your body."
"Enchantress," said Aya as she recognized the woman from the files. "A powerful witch who possessed June Moon, a freelance artist. We had assumed you were dead during Superman's reign."
"Oh no, I'm very much alive," said Enchantress as her hands begin to glow.
"Enough talk! If your expecting your allies to show up, think again!" said Damian knowing what these three are doing. "Grodd has your team held up in the embassy and your backup team is still held up at the airport. You have no one else to come to your aid."
Aya though knew that the team that Damian mentioned held up at the airport aren't like the ones he met before. "Are you sure about that? Perhaps you should give them a call."
Damian scoffed and motions for his assassins to get ready. "I said, no more talking. Give us the stone or else."
Aya and Victor turn to Slade knowing he has something up his sleeve. "I got a better idea."
Slade drops a flash bomb on the ground causing their enemies to become blinded. Victor fires several sonic blasts at the enemy as he begins running towards them to attack. Aya blasts a few away and charges at Enchantress as she tries to force her away from the others. Slade meanwhile killed a few of the assassins before leaping over to attack Damian.
Damian blocks his sword once his eyesight returned. The two begin fighting around as he tries slashing at them. Slade was more experienced in combat, so he had the early advantage. However, when he got an opening and swung his sword, Damian blocks it with his mechanical arm, shattering the sword.
This surprised Slade, who was now on the offense as Damian begins attacking him. Swinging his weapon and trying to slash at his foe. Slade managed to avoid any lethal blows, but got cut on his arms and shoulders as he backs away. Slade took out two smaller knives and rushes in to attack him.
Slade managed to get the advantage again as he tries using his strength to overpower the power. He managed to knock his sword away and tries to stab him, but Damian throws a smoke bomb down to blind his opponent. Damian leaps over to kick Slade, as the older assassin blocks it with his left arm. However, he felt a lot of pain surging through his arm causing him to back away.
He throws the knife at Damian's right leg, but he saw it bounced off with the tip broken. Slade though heard the distinct sound of metal and knew how the boy is walking again.
"Mechanical legs. That's new," said Slade who didn't expect this at all. "I have to assume the metal you are using is strong enough to shatter any blade I have on me."
"It can even deflect your bullets. So, no weapon you have can beat me," said Damian as he picks up his sword and his assassins soon begin surrounding Slade.
Slade looked up for a second and then back at his opponent before smiling. "What about hers?"
Damian looks up and gets blasted by a yellow energy beam knocking him down. Slade pulled out his second sword and slashed the heads off the assassins that were gathering behind him. She appeared to be in her teenage years, with red skin, long green hair, and yellow with no visible Irises or pupil eyes.
"So, you must be one of the new kids huh?" Slade asked as he sees the girl approach him. "What do they call you?"
"My friends call me Viv, but my name is Vivian Vision," the girl introduced herself. "My father is Vision and my mother is Wanda Maximoff. I came here to assist you and the others against these assassins."
"Well, you came just in time," said Slade as he sees Damian getting up along with more of the ninjas. "Going to need your help with these assholes."
Viv turns to the enemy and then back at Damian as her hands begin glowing red. "I understand. Then I shall assist you."
Meanwhile, Aya knocks Enchantress towards a nearby church as she begins creating multiple small mini-guns and opened fire at the witch. Enchantress begins laughing as she blocks the attacks with ease and used her magic to trap her enemy in a sphere. She then blasts her sending her to the ground. Enchantress begins using her magic to create a sword and tries stabbing her foe.
But Aya managed to block the attack her own sword and pushes her away. Aya then flies up and goes to attack her, but Enchantress summons two large arms with her own magic then grabs her foe. She then brings her down to the ground before trying to choke her. Aya though uses her powers to fire a green energy blast from her chest sending her foe through the walls.
This freed her as she begins coughing loudly trying to recover from the attack. Enchantress' laugh can be heard echoing around the church as Aya stood on her guard.
"A machine that thinks she's alive and believes she can have a normal life. That she can have a family with another machine, how sad," said Enchantress as her shadow can be seeing moving around the walls. "Do you really believe you something without a soul can achieve such happiness?"
"I believe I've heard this same taunt by enemies like you throughout all my life. And guess what? I've stopped caring because at least I am happy. You on the other hand?" Aya begins smiling a little. "You are just a poor weak witch who needs to possess someone in order to stay alive. Without June, you are nothing, witch. Nothing but a weak, spineless, coward."
"You dare to insult me?!" four Enchantresses soon appeared and begin attacking Aya as she begins to scream. "You are nothing to me. Nothing but a soulless machine that needs to be disassemble in to pieces. But don't worry, I'll put you back together. And become my own mindless little puppet."
Aya's eyes soon begin opening as they begin glowing blue. Enchantress took notice this and with her clones, tried to finish her off. However, Aya summons on the power of her Blue Lantern powers and managed to push the attacks away. Combining them with her Green Lantern powers she managed to destroy the three copies before turning to the original.
Enchantress tries to kill her, but Aya managed to appear in front of her super-fast and blasts her with a blue/green energy blast. The attack knocks her foe into the next building, which caused it to come apart and come crashing down on her. Seeing her foe defeated, Aya returns to normal.
Aya sighed in relief that she won, until she heard Victor's screams, which came close by. "Victor!"
Earlier, Victor managed to take away some of the assassins that were trying to take him down. He knew they weren't going to kill him, but he knew they were going to try incapacitating him. So, he used the new upgrades he got, which included his own little shield to deflect any attacks that were coming in from his blind spot. He even had new scanners to help him see through any smoke bombs and protect his eyesight from any flash bombs.
Victor was a lot faster than before too, so he was able to keep up with the fast ninjas. Once he took down half of them, they begin backing away. Victor began getting confident he was going to win this fight. However, his scanners warned him of someone trying to attack him from above.
Victor moves out of the way to avoid his attacker's sword attack. He looks over and was shocked to see it's Talia al Ghul, the leader of the League of Assassins.
"Talia, why am I not surprise to see you are here?" said Victor as he thinks back of what Slade said. How she was likely hiding in the shadows.
"Hello Victor. I see you've improved last time I saw you. Unfortunately, it won't be enough against me," said Talia as she stood by with her assassins behind her.
"Don't be too sure. I'll have you know that thanks to my new upgrades I'm faster, strong, and I know every fighting style in the world, including your own," said Victor as he got ready to fight.
"Sadly, we don't have time to test those skills," said Talia knowing she is on the clock. "Darkseid has tasked me with bringing him the stones, just as I brought him the Time Stone."
Victor knew that Darkseid didn't have the stone yet. If he did then that means Batman and the others are dead. The fact she didn't mention them tells him that she doesn't know they are on the ship with Christopher. So, this gives them the advantage.
"We won't let you," said Victor as he plans to stop her.
"I'm afraid it's not up to you," said Talia as she snaps her fingers.
Victor's sensors warned him of someone coming in from behind. Victor turns around in time to grab the spear, which was trying to stab him. He sees the attacker is Lady Shiva. A loyalist to Talia.
"Got you," said Victor.
"No, you don't," said Talia as she motions for Lady Shiva to do it.
Lady Shiva pressed a button and soon Victor begins getting electrocuted. Victor screams in pain as he feels the electricity flowing through every part of his body causing him to fall on his knees. Unbeknownst to Victor, the electricity was weakening his mechanical side of his body. To the point he would be too weak to fight back as he tries to get freed.
Talia prepares to remove the stone, when Aya appeared as she takes down Lady Shiva. Aya fires another attack at Talia and her followers. Talia leaps out of the way as her assassins took the hit. Aya leans down to check on Victor seeing he is in pain and he needs help.
"Victor, can you hear me? Can you move?" she asked seeing if he can still talk to her.
"I-I don't kn-now," said Victor as he tries to move his body, but it was too painful.
Aya begins to pick him up and fly them out of here, but Talia took out a rocket launcher and fires it. Aya sees this and blocks the attack, but the force of the blast knocks them through the building to outside near the train station. Aya got up quickly while helping Victor against the railing. Viv and Slade soon arrived as they join the others.
"What happened to him?" Slade asked as he had some new fresh cuts on his body.
"I don't know. They did something to his body, which is keeping him from moving," said Aya as she tries to find a way to get him up. "We need to move."
"Too late," said Viv as she sees Talia appear from the building with her son, Lady Shiva, Enchantress, and the other members of assassins. "Slade, can you take him out of here while we hold them off?"
"In my condition? Not really," said Slade knowing even if he wasn't hurt, he wouldn't be able to take Victor far away from here on his own.
"T-then go," said Victor knowing the odds of them winning is looking thin. "Aya, take the Mind Stone and get out of here. I'll stay and…"
"No," Aya cut him off. "I'm not going to leave you here. I will not lose you."
"You don't have a choice. If they get their hands on the stone then its over," said Victor as he tries to move his hand up to her. "It will be okay. I'll be fine."
"But I won't be," said Aya as she took his hand and leans in to kiss him. "I'm going to stay and that's that."
"How touching," said Slade who knew now is not the time for them to be getting romantic. "You better have some sort of trick that can take them all down."
"No, but I will try," said Aya as she prepares to use her Blue Lantern and Green Lantern powers to give them an opening.
Talia knew this has gone far enough. She turns to Enchantress and motions for her to finish this. Enchantress prepares to fire her magic at them when a Sai weapon lands in front of her. The bad guys all look over to see a figure wearing a trench coat and hat walking towards them.
"Now that looks like fun," the figure removes his coat and hat revealing to be a green mutated turtle with another Sai weapon in his hand, a red bandana around his head. "Mind if we play?"
Soon three other mutated turtles appeared all with their own colored bandanas and weapons in their hands. For the enemy, they looked surprised by what they are seeing. But for the good guys, they all are happy to see backup has arrived. Even if its in the form of four mutated teenage ninja turtles.
"Dibs on the magic lady," said the turtle with the orange bandana.
"We fight as a team, Mikey," said the turtle with the blue bandana.
"What the hell are you freaks supposed to be?" Damian asked looking disgusted with what he is seeing. "Mutated turtles?"
"We prefer…teenage mutant ninja turtles," said the turtle with the blue bandana as he pulls out his Katana swords. "The name is Leonardo or Leo for short."
"Raphael or Raph," said Raphael as he introduced himself next with his Sai in one hand.
"Michelangelo, but you can call me Mikey," said Mikey as he beings twirling one of his Nunchucks in his hand.
"And I'm Donatello or Donnie. Nice to meet you all," said Donnie as he got his Bo-staff ready.
Talia scoffed as she turned to Aya. "This is the backup your world has brought to help you?"
"Oh, we didn't come alone," said Mikey. "We came here with cap himself."
"Cap?" Damian asked looking confused.
They suddenly see a train passing by, but the bad guys took notice someone was on the other side of the tracks staring at them. Once the train passed, Lady Shiva throws the spear at the figure, who catches the weapon with ease.
The figure soon appears from the shadow appearing to be in his early 20s with short blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin. He also appears to be wearing a blue uniform with red and white stripes around the waist, a white star in the middle, and has a shield with the colors of the United States on it with a star in the middle.
"James, good to see you," said Aya who is happy to see her friend.
Suddenly, a woman with wings appeared and kicked Talia in the face sending her flying into the ticket booth. Aya and Viv opened fire at the assassins and their allies. Soon all four turtles leaped into the air and attacked Enchantress. She tries blasting them away, but the turtles avoided the attacks. Mikey throws one of his Nunchucks as it wraps around Enchantress' arms.
She tries to blast him away, but Donnie blocks her magic with his staff as it came equipped with a little shield to protect them both. This distraction allowed Raph to hit Enchantress in the face with her Sai before grabbing the first one and slashes the palm of her hands. Leo rushed over as she tried to create two swords to slash at Raph.
Leo blocks the attacks, pushes them back and ducks. Raph leaps over to kick the woman in the face, followed by Donnie with his staff and Mikey with his Nunchucks. Leo then gives her a strong uppercut sending her flying into the air and to the ground.
Damian charges at Slade, when James throws the spear at Damian. James leaps over the tracks and over at the enemy as Damian swings the spear to attack him. James blocks it with his shield as it knocks his opponent away. James throws the shield towards a lamp post as it bounces off and hits Damian knocking him away.
Lady Shiva charges at him but picks up the spear Damian dropped and throws it at her. She ducks but didn't see a woman appeared out of nowhere and grabs it. She stabs Lady Shiva from behind and sends the electricity through her body. Lady Shiva tries to stab the woman, but she shrunk down and avoids the blade and soon grow big again as she got on her knees and James jumps off her back to hit Lady Shiva in the chest knocking her away.
Talia recovered and attacks the group, but Slade leaps in and kicks her away knocking her over. The woman with the wings flew down and fires some rockets at her. Talia avoids the blasts as she lands near her son and Lady Shiva. Enchantress gets knocked towards the group as the good guys begin regrouping.
Talia got into a fighting stance knowing this fight is over.
"Give up, you've lost," said James as he and the team kept their guard up. "Cooperate and we'll make sure you get a fair trial when this is over."
"I'm afraid that's not going to happen," said Talia as she pressed a button and soon a ship appeared over the group before teleporting them out.
Aya and Viv tried to stop the ship, but it took off before they could even stop it. Aya flies down to Victor and checks on him as he is being helped up by two of the four turtles.
"Is he all right?" Aya asked.
"He's okay. But we'll need to get him back so we can properly check his systems," said Donnie as he turned to Aya. "But he'll live."
Aya sighed in relief and thanks Donnie before turning to the others. "Thank you both for coming."
"We're glad to have come," said James as he turns to Slade. "Who's he?"
"Slade Wilson," said Slade as he introduced himself. "And who the hell are you?"
James moves his shield to his back and introduces himself. "My name is Captain James Rogers Carter, and this is my friend. Alexis Wilson aka Falcon."
Alexis removes her helmet and reveals her appearance. The same age as James but has short brown hair, brown eyes, and black skin. She also appears to be wearing a similar suit to James, except she has on a winged jetpack. Thus giving her the name, Falcon.
"James Rogers? I've heard of you," said Slade as he looks up and down at the young man before him. "So, your Captain America huh?"
James shook his head in response. "That was my father's title. I haven't earned it yet, so until then. Just James will do."
Slade seemed a little impressed by the fact the kid didn't want to take the name of his father until he feels he earned it. He can respect that.
"Anyways, we should talk some more somewhere else. Before they come back," said Alexis figuring this is a good time to leave. "We ready to go?"
Aya nods in response. "Let's go home."
That's the end of the chapter and wow this went on a little longer than expected. I didn't expect that, but hey I didn't mind it. I was happy to have written this chapter. Also, yep I brought in some more characters. Including the kids of our Marvel heroes.
Their information will be down below so you guys can read them. Also, yeah I brought in the turtles as promised. It took me a while to get them in here since I wasn't sure at first if it would work. But after seeing the Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, it changed my mind.
It looks like our heroes are already working on their way to counter whatever the villains are up to. Think they'll succeed? Think this time we will see our heroes get a happy ending? Or think that stone is coming out of Victor the same way it did with Vision…by force?

Bio: James is the son of Sharon Carter and Steve Rogers. He was conceived after his father went into hiding after he broke the law. Sharon left work and began working from home, while caring for his son and making sure no one finds out who the father was. Afraid anyone who wants to get the Super-Soldier serum would come for him.
He was trained by his mother how to fight and defend himself in case anything bad happens to his mother or to be ready. He would later find out who his father is and how his father sacrifieced his life to save everyone. James would be trained by Sam Wilson who became Captain America after Steve died and was also trained by Bucky. The two trained James so he would one day become the new Captain America.
James was even given his father's shield, but a new updated one that was combined with Adamantium to make it stronger and hopefully indestructible. James would join Abby to form a new Avengers team so they can protect the people, while also doing their best to make sure they don't make the same mistakes as the family.

Bio: Alexis is the daughter of Sam Wilson aka Falcon. Alexis was born a year before the Infinity War. Her father met a woman who worked for SHIELD and for the Avengers before the heroes went under. Her mother promised his father she would protect their daughter and keep her safe until he was cleared of his crimes.
Once the war ended her father was cleared and got married so he can raise his daughter. Alexis grew up having a normal life and even joined the military to become a pilot like her father. She was then recruited by SHIELD to become the new Falcon. With a new winged jetpack that would allow her for better stealth missions and to help save lives.
