Chapter 35: Jupiter vs lace

Jupiter had arrived and jumped from the helicopter. She deployed a parachute and threw 3 pokeballs down, calling out Mightyena, Bronzor and Golbat. So, I called out Incineroar, Luxray and Vespiquen which stood in front of Jupiters 3 pokemon. I stood in front of Darkrai as did Vaporeon and Flareon. Jupiter landed with a smirk. Looks like I may have a real tough battle on my hands. Normally id be able to defeat such a foe but with the memories of the past, would I be able to win?
Jupiter smirked and shouted "Mightyena, use sand attack" Mightyena howled and made a sand cloud. She continued "Bronzor, use confuse ray" Bronzor glowed and orbs of pink light swirled around the cloud of sand, confusing all of my pokemon. She finished "and Golbat, use air slash" Golbat slashed through the centre of the sand cloud that had been formed. With confuse ray and sand attack to confuse my 3 pokemon, it seems I'm now at a huge disadvantage. Jupiter laughed and said "with confusion and decreased accuracy, my attack with certain to hit and deal out damage. I'm aware your Vespiquen is a bug flying but it even that one of your 3 will be dealt double damage" she seemed over confident and with things how they were, how could she not?
This was if all of the attacks mentioned actually hit their targets. When the sand cloud died down, none of my pokemon were there and I smiled as Flareon and Vaporeon was surprised. I called out "Incineroar, use flamethrower" we all heard a roar from above and it was Incineroar above all 3 holding onto Vespiquen and Luxray. My plan worked so far now I see if I could keep it going. Incineroar gathered fire in his mouth and shot it down to all 3 of them but they all dodged. Luxray intercepted Golbat and Vespiquen intercepted Mightyena. I said "Vespiqueen, use attack order" a small swarm came from Vespiqueen and attacked Mightyena, dealing double damage as it was super effective. I called to Luxray "use thunder fang" his fangs glow yellow like lightning and chomped hard on Golbat. The damage and blood spilt heavy as due to how Golbat's are, they wouldn't stand much of a chance against an electric type attacks. Luxray stuck 1 more time and Golbat fainted with heavy damage. Vespiquens small swarm had surrounded Mightyena as he tried to escape to no progress. Incineroar engulfed its body in fire and hurled to Bronzor knocking it out with second degree burn marks over its body.
the battle was won 2 out of her 3 pokemon was defeated. Jupiters confident smirk turned sour fast. She admitted "this one is going to be a huge problem if I don't defeat her" her calm exterior was clouded by intense rage, must have annoyed her that much with the battle match up and sent out 2 other pokemon, a Purugly and her Crawdaunt. A normal type and another being a water and dark type. Iniceroar could deal with Purugly but this water and dark type is going to be tricky. She grinned and shouted "Crawdaunt, use crabhammer" he swung at Incineroar but to my fortune, the attack missed and I knew the weaknesses of Crawdaunt was fighting, grass, bug, electric and fairy. Thankfully I had 3 of those 5 types. I said "luxray use thunderbolt" he charged up and shot a thunderbolt at Crawdaunt, dealing double damage. Luxray kept the pressure on Crawdaunt while Mightyena was being dealt with fin thanks to Vespiquen. As the battle pressure raged, Vaporeon looked around and Juiter noticed too. she called her pokemon back and grinned. I was confused as she waves "so long trainer" she said mockingly and I called my pokemon back. Vaporeon said "where did Darkrai go?" after that I noticed that he was gone and Jupiter must have seen that too but did she catch him?
We headed back to the boat as it was very late and set up camp near the rocks. Flareon gathered wood and set it on fire so we had a source of both heat and light. Vaporeon snuggled up to Flareon, now that things had calmed down and purrs as they did. It was one of the moments I saw them being lovey dovey, usually the rest of the time either Flareons too shy or Vaporeon is busy pulling pranks on other pokemon or people. Camp fires are said to bring back memories that we have forgotten, I wonder which memory are they thinking of as they gazed into the dancing flames. We rested around fire.
I woke up early and Flareon and Vaporeon were asleep snuggling up to each other with light snoring coming from them both. i prepared a light meal to keep us fed until we make it back to the mainland and made sure it was hot enough without the fires from Flareon. They woke up to the smell of cooking meats, as I had some slices of meat and got some ready for my pokemon team that eat meat. The old man came up to us and said "looks like it's time we can make our way back, you done what you needed to hear?" I'm surprised he didn't ask about the noise last night but maybe he thought it was nothing to do with him. When we all woke up we made our way to the boat and rushed to the mainland and headed to Canalave City ready to head back to the secondary HQ of Team Galactic, Eterna City.
It took afew hours to get back to the mainland and I called my team out then headed to the nearest cafe for all of us to take a break and eat some of the snacks there. We took time here and planned what to do next, infiltrate the building again and hope the confusion was too big for them to notice I'm the same. But for it to work we'd have to change our look. the only people likely to remember would be the elites of the organisation but they're busy so with luck, we can get away with it.
