Chapter 41: Josh joins the fight

The more I looked around the more I noticed cameras and speakers, that was how they were talking to Mars and Jupiter. with the medicine that i know of, reattaching Flareons paw isn't going to be easy and besides from the guy on the other ends of the cameras, theres no way to get through without being noticed. I could feel the pressure of the situation rise and the need to retreat becoming more urgent, but neither of us could now. We can't turn back now, that means we have to find a way to push forward past them. We should beat them fast and as I thought, I noticed on the cameras were small sparks and the red light no the cameras went out. Seems like the cameras broke and the voice on the other end started to crackle and become more statically, almost as if it were getting interference.

I could barely hear the sound of doors opening in the background through the static and it all cut out, I wonder what was going on.

Josh:

Standing in front of the door way with Leafeon and Jolteon by my side, we managed to disable to security system and get Saturns attention. He seemed angered and called out his Golbat and Weavile. Leafeon and jolteon got ready for the battle to underway, Saturn stood there and grinned.

"walking through the front door, doesn't that seem arrogant to you?" he asked. Standing there I felt no need to reply right away so I thought I'd toy with him. "arrogant is believing that you'd be able to keep doing what you're doing without people noticing. To me, that seems ignorant" he grew mad at my words and took a deep breath and shouted "Golbat, use screech" a high pitch sound emanated from the mouth, Leafeon and Jolteon flattened their ears as I noticed their defences lowered from the attack. he continued "Weavile, use quick attack and metal claw" Weavile disappeared as it reached higher speeds and slashed at Leafeon and Jolteon rapidly. The attacks were extra strong, it must come from the metal claws raw power and the raw speed of quick attack.

I started weighing my options, Jolteon can't use much of his electric attacks as we're in a solid metal room and leafeon can't use grass attacks for the same reason. Knowing the foe, they like to be prepared so even if I could use electric attacks, they probably have some rubber on them to repel the attack. Jolteon started to shake and I knew what he was doing. I told Leafeon "use leaf blade" Leafeons tail formed into a strong blade and Saturn just grinned.

"that won't do you much good if you can't hit either one" he laughed. Jolteon lifted Leafeon on his back and got ready. All of a sudden, Saturns grin turned to surprise as Jolteon and Leafeon both vanished. Weavile slammed to the ground and Golbat fell from, damaged as he continued "how did you do that" I smiled as Jolteon with Leafeon on his back appeared in front of me. I answered "Leafeons leaf blade is strong enough to tear through metal" he got angry as he interrupted "but that doesn't explain how the attack was able to land a hit" I closed my eyes and rubbed my forehead, adjusting my glasses. I continued "Jolteon was using agility, which boosts speed and Jolteon is the fastest between them. With his speed and her leaf blade, dealing damage to both was simple" his anger grew and kept growing as they exchanged clashes.

Jolteon kept getting faster and faster, almost as if he wasn't even going as fast as he could. Leafeon kept with the attack to both and thanks to their teamwork, they managed to easily defeat both Golbat and bring Weavile to its knees. the Weavile was badly damaged and wouldn't be able to keep fighting me for much longer. I knew that and I can only assume that Saturn knew that too. So, I wonder what kind of trick he'd pull next. He called them both back and grinned as he said "I'm guessing you're under the impression you won. You can keep guessing, team galactic won't fall to mere children" standing there I can't help but feel insulted by his words yet at the same time I knew his words to ring hollow.

I told him "on my way here, I fought the gym leaders and collected their badges as proof that they have acknowledged me capabilities. But they've been informed by me everything that you've been up to the last several months" he looked concerned as I continued "the organisation was disbanded quite some time ago making what you're doing illegal. they have prepared the paper work for your punishment but if you come quietly then you won't be punished as hard. That's your only real option here" I knew the gym leaders were on their way and time wasn't on Saturns side, as I looked into his eyes and he looked into mine, he knew the words I spoke were true.

He grinned and said "I guess I have no choice but to defeat you and sneak away" it wasn't an answer I was expecting but it was an answer I expected from a child. He continued "looks like escaping might take top priority, at least for now" confused I began to wonder how he'd be able to escape, I was blocking the only door way out and his elites were in the middle of battle. He got up a communications device and spoke into it "gather and begin" the building started to shake as the grunts outside got their bronzors. I was unaware as to what they were doing and before I can do anything, Saturn disappeared and the shaking continued.

I ran out of the room and saw Sylveon run by, heading the same way as me, to the hall where there was part of the hall cut off by thick vines. The Sylveon was with Nei and he was getting info on what had happened. I could tell just by looking at him that everyone of us were in the dark.
