Chapter 43: the barrier

With Espeon we were more than ready to fight them with our full force but a Slowking appeared behind Mars and Jupiter and passed them a note. They grinned and laughed saying "looks like you're all in luck" they called back their pokemon and teleported with Slowking. Ven got rid of the vine wall he made and behind it was Josh and Nei. Lace went to Flareon, who was shivering and turning pale. Nei walked over and started to heal the arm back on. Lace was surprised by this but neither Josh nor myself were, as we knew she's one of the best medics. Lace asked "how'd you do that?"
I replied "I have the ability to heal wounds pokemon get and I've had this for over 10 years now" she looked at her as the eeveelutions converged together, all now fully evolved. I looked around and noticed the building was completely empty now. Josh seemed to have noticed while Nei and Lace were busy sorted the injured pokemon back to full health. I got Nei to do the same for my team too and while she was at it, healed Josh's team too. I gestured Josh and he came with me to the entrance, Jolteon, Leafeon, Umbreon and Espeon followed.
Jolteon saw some of the gym leaders and ran over to them, but as he reached the doors he ran into an invisible wall. Almost as if the doors were closed. I ran over and noticed there were reflective walls. Josh walked over and said "looks like a light screen combined with a mirror coat" seemingly true I continued "so they intend to keep us here, I'm guessing because we know too much about them" Josh agreed. I asked "how do we get through this? It seems like it has been placed around the building" Josh got his pokedex out as did I and saw what pokemon was responsible for this. The pokedex's both came up with Bronzor and as we looked out, we spotted the Bronzor holding them all in place. Nei and Lace came down with Glaceon, Sylveon and Vaporeon carrying Flareon as he isn't ready to move without gaining back the blood he lost in the battle.
Lace asked "what's the verdict?" we told them of the situation and they looked in their pokedex's too. It doesn't say much as to anything special besides from being connected to ancient people of the past and that they're good at reflection powers. So, take them down and we take down the barrier. That much all four of us had figured out, the problem was that we're trapped in the barrier that reflects attacks back at us and they're on the other side. We'd have to find some way to attack them through the defence and deal sufficient damage. As we thought how we'd be able to get out, i noticed the pokeballs, holding the titans were missing. Thinking back to when there could have went missing, I remembered when the Mightyena passed 4 orbs to Jupiter, they must have been the pokeballs they stole from me and gave it to their trainers. Now they have all the pokemon they needed, at least according to what Lace said she found out while undercover.
Lace told us "I don't think they'd go back to their base in Eterna City or return to here, they know we'd look there first" Josh added "especially since the gym leaders are now looking for them" looking out some of the nearby gym leaders like Maylene, the gym leader of Veilstone City and Volkner, the gym leader of Sunyshore City. I added "knowing them, if they have everything then they'll most likely be at the central point" Lace got out a laptop and showed the pictures of the old formation, 7 stars around a triangle in a square and continued "each point represents a pokemon they need while the stars look like those who have to be free" like fine detail to a specific ritual. Nei asked "assuming that this tells of it, where would this take place?" we all thought and only 1 place in the whole region made the most sense and it was a place we all thought of at once, the top of Mount Coronet known as Spear Pillar.
As we were all thinking, Espeon walked to the mirror coat and light screen combo, she sniffed at it while the 2 gym leaders noticed the barrier. I was confused what Espeon was up to when the gem on her forehead and eyes glowed. She was using psychic on the Brozor and making them clash into each other just enough to make the barrier disappear. Volkner came to me and Josh asking "you guys ok?" we nodded and informed both of them what had transpired in the building with our battles. They looked shocked and Volkner told us "if that's where they be then they needed to be both stopped and defeated beyond a doubt. when the other gym leaders arrive, we'll nominate some to go and join you 4 in the battle at Spear Pillar" Josh and I shook our heads as I replied "I think we'd be able to handle them ourselves, just the 4 of us. But I do ask that the gym leaders be ready to move in and arrest them" Volkner looked at us and asked "this is to make sure they're held responsible for what they did?" all of us nodded and Josh continued "we'll make sure to defeat them and you can deal punishment for their crimes along with going against the disbandment order" he sighed and agreed to put the battle that lies ahead in our hands.
Little to our knowledge, the remaining 3 Shaymins were on the move to Spear Pillar while the winter themed Shaymin was on his vendetta against Nei. We all left and headed for the nearest town to Mount Coronet, myself and Lace on Tyrantrums back with Espeon and umbreon on his head, Josh flying on a Dragonite with Jolteon and Leafeon on their back and Nei riding Dodrio cradling Glaceon and Sylveon. The battle all starts soon but what is their goal.
