Chapter 44: operation stop team galactic starts

we were off to Mount Coronet and with that, stopping Team Galactic is within our reach. Looking back the other 3 were keeping up, even with Dragonites speed. Either way we look at this we have no plan as to how exactly we're going to stop them or even what they want with them all still. The only clue we have is the picture Lace found. 7 stars around a triangle in a sqaure, if we assume based on the number that the sqaure and its points represent the titans, the triangle and its points represent the lake spirits then that means they are the most important ones to take to Spear Pillar.
I landed outside the cave, that would lead directly to the top of the mountain. Tank and Lace arrived just as Jolteon and Leafeon got off and I called back Dragonite. He called his Tyrantrum back as all 4 got off. Jolteon, as usual, was playful an wanted to play with the other eeveelutions. Leafeon knew how he could be and chose to go play with him, Espeon decided to join with Umbreon watching to keep all 3 of them safe with Flareon and Vaporeon recovering from the last battle. Nei arrived shortly after and called her Dodrio back with Sylveon and Glaceon joining on the play with the other eeveelutions.
"looks like someone took their time" Tank pronounced in a joking manner and all Nei did was smile and she her head. i could tell they've known each other much longer and that they could make comments like that without taking offense, it seemed nice. She asked "so what is the plan?" reasonable question but Tank and Lace had other ideas. "I think we should be as sneaky as we can, strike while they're not expecting us and take full advantage of the situation" Lace suggested as Tank proposed "we should just go in with our strongest attacks and leave them completely defenceless"
Both ideas sound great and have barely any faults, however both sounds as if they hold more risks than much else for unknown variables. Sneaking it would leave too much time for them to catch on and set up traps for us while charging in on attack leaves us defenceless against counter attacks. Turning to Nei I asked "with what they know about us already from the last battle, they'd be expecting us to try something so how about we do both charging and sneaking?" she looked at me as Lace and Tank argued as to which is more effective. Continuing "if we split into 2 groups of 2, team 1 to charge in and the other to sneak and rescue the pokemon being held against their will by Team Galactics elite members" that way we can have 2 advantages over just 1 and ensure the safety of the eeveelutions while having them participate in the fighting. She was thinking it over as both Lace and Tank got annoyed over which one was right so since they wanted different tactics, Lace would go with Nei and I'd go with Tank as it'd be believable that we'd be the main brunt of the attacking force. I suggested the idea to Lace and Tank although they seemed concerned, they did agree to the pairing up.
Tank "in that case, we'll head up the side of the mountain while Lace and Nei will walk through the entrance in front of us. By the time we've started causing problems, they should be right behind out of harm's way" looking I started to make a plan to fly up to one of the cave entrances and as I did, Tank called out Ven and made a staircase out of woven together vines. Walking up we managed to get to the cliff side where there was grass and snow with 3 cave entrances. Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon and Jolteon followed them up the vine stairs and we headed to the cave on the far left. It led into a large cave with a running waterfall in the centre that leads to a cave door and another way out to the far right next to the top. With Leafeon using vine whip to make another stair case to the door and the rest of the way being long hall ways, getting the last door leading to Spear Pillar was easy.
The top of the mountain was broken pillars that resembled an ancient ruin that time has washed away, like how waves wash sand off of the beaches, the stone floors were ruined yet held on long enough to stay intact for all these years. In the centre of the pillars was Saturn with the pokeballs of the titans and the machines holding down the lake spirits.
Saturn faced us with a grin "so, you finally arrived as I knew you would" he said with an arrogant tone to his voice which angered Tank. Without batting his eye's, he tilted his head and asked "so where are you friends? I thought they'd be with you" we kept quiet as he continued to grin "well, I guess it doesn't matter that much, after all there is a welcoming party for them. I had hoped you both would be there too for the effort we put into it" our worry grew for our friends who went the long way. Tank stood there calmly, I had a guess as to why and I should think the same, they can take care of themselves. Before I could say even a word, Tank takes off back into the mountain with Umbreon and Espeon following as Saturn watches and laughs calling out his pokemon. He stood there with them all out at once saying "and then there was just the one, standing all alone" looking at all of his pokemon which were a Golbat, Bronzor, Toxicroak, Weavile, Tyranitar and hydreigon. I know this is a battle will end with myself being the victor, out of all the possible outcomes, I can't see myself losing here. I called out Dragonite, Charizard and Gyarados to start my battle off, hoping we stop all four of them.
