Chapter 47: autumn shaymin to aid

Looking to Jupiter, I thought of a strategy that would benefit me in this situation and before I could gather thoughts. A lightning bolt struck Milotic and made it faint hard. My pokemon fainted as I looked for the source of the attack, to my deep surprise the Galvantula was above on the ceiling and I turned t where the burnt remains were. What I saw was nothing and that must have meant that the Galvantula used substitution before springing it trap. We were even with 5 pokemon in our party and worse I don't know how many were also out of their pokeballs. Calling Milotic back into the pokeball and thought for a moment. I felt the second pass by like minutes as my brain was wrecked for a possible out, there was 1 to my right and 1 behind me. With this, 1 of mine to the right and another in front of me. I looked to Jupiter, who was smiling, and looked around seeing 4 of her pokemon was surrounding by them, the 4 being Bronzor, Purugly, Galvantula and Crawdaunt.
I also called back Incineroar as I told Luxray to come to me and he obeyed. Standing back I nodded and Luxray built up static. The build up of electricity was made known by my hair standing on ends and dropped when Luxray released the lightning in the form of discharge. The lightning pulsed through the water hitting the pokemon standing around me and Luxray. Knocking out her Crawdaunt and her Bronzor and the lightning pulsed through them the hardest. The Purugly and Galvantula was damaged by this. Thanks to that quick thinking I was able to reduce her team but 2 more, meaning she had 3 left, her Mightyena, Purugly and Galvantula.
I called out Incineroar and Vespiquen as Jupiter grinned her overconfident grin. Curious to this I asked "what's so funny?" she pointed up and I looked. Above our heads were the eeveelutions I was taking care of wrapped up in thick webbing and they were being tightened. She was using them as a hostage even I could see that and she explained "move an inch and they will certainly meet their end" she wasn't bluffing. I didn't want to take the risk but I couldn't just surrender, especially when other pokemon are at risk.
The pressure to make a choice was building, with every second Jupiter was pressuring the situation with the threads growing tighter on the eeveelutions. I wrecked my brain to try and think of a quick solution, any solution that would let me turn the tables on her. Before I could even react, red leaves flew by and slashed through the threads. Jupiter was as surprised as I was and a small shaymin walked up to me and looked up to me with a soft smile. The shaymin was familiar, he had a bright red colour grass on top where the pokedex would claim to be green and the flowers that bloomed on top were an orange colour. The eeveelutions under my care were safe thanks to the efforts of this little guy. Kneeling down, I gave thankful head rubs and it was until I got closer that this shaymin I knew from my past.
Was as if I was seeing the past flash before my eyes and in that instant, I knew where I have seen this shaymin before. I saw him back when I first met giratina and I wonder if this shaymin has been following me since then? Before I could let myself get too distracted, I had a battle to win and it was one I couldn't afford to lose. The shaymin glowed and changed into their sky form, a strong gust of wind blew through the cave and the shaymin glew a red as he gathered his energy. I called my pokemon back as the red grassed shaymin dashed between the Galvantula and Purugly before releasing the stored energy. The red waves emanating from the shaymin was like a solar flare and pushed everyone back. Thanks to my previous damage and the shaymin being in their sky form, they were able to defeat both of Jupiters pokemon at once.
I turned to the Sylveon and the Glaceon that came with me and I told them "I've got this, you go search for the lake spirit and inform Nei of your location, I'm sure she'll be worried about you" they both nodded and left for their search to begin. Jupiter called out her last pokemon, a dark type Mightyena and I looked up the details on my pokedex. The shaymin in their sky form came over and smiled up to me, something I wasn't use to and I decided to pet their head and whisper into their ear "thank you, that was a big problem avoided thanks to you" the shaymin gave a soft cry of approval, like a friend who'd stay by your side. Focusing back to the battle I looked to my pokeballs and closed my eyes thinking who to send out into battle and end this once and for all.
The autumn shaymin looked weakened and panting from the use of the seed flare. I closed my eyes and the moment felt to have paused, gathering my thoughts and keeping calm was as if I saw everything that was about to happen. Her mightyena would dodge my first attack and leave me defenceless, she'd use the weakened shaymin as a hostage like the eeveelutions. I need to stop that advance and hit for anther high devastating attack. I opened my eyes and told Vespiquen "use gust" a strong wind knocked her Mightyena back just enough for me to give my last order "now hyper beam" Vespiquen charged up and shot the hyper beam to the Mightyena. The blast shot through the rocks in the mountain, carving a scar as the Mightyena was heavily damaged. I dare not talk to Jupiter as she was filled with rage for me and healed my team with potions before calling them all back. Shayin nudged my leg as we moved on ahead to our next challenge.
