Disclaimer
The urge to write this one-shot story has actually appeared for quite some times. Unfortunately however, I am unable to find a right plot that could accommodate it when the idea first popped out in my mind. It was when I started to brainstorm and write multiple different plots, in which happen to be substandard for me, unfortunately. Thankfully, I manage to find the right plot for this one-shot story after reading multiple different Japanese comic books, light novels and novels. The main focus of this story would be a special bond that our OC and a certain young Hegemon-girl, Einhalt Stratos shared together. It would also reveal Einhalt's secret crush on our OC, as well as Vivio and Hayate's decision to get them together using an Old Belka's tradition. Because of that, let us begin on exploring this story together. Since it would hopefully explain Einhalt's unique relationship with our OC, as well as our OC's very own one towards her and Hayate, in return.

"Einhalt, what are you doing here?" asked Ave, as he was surprised to see her waiting for him at Sakhalin Base's visitor lounge. "Commander Yagami asked me to deliver this to you personally, Ave-san. It seems to be an important article…" politely explained Einhalt while answering Ave's question just now. "I see… Wait, that's not what I meant. Why are you here on Earth? I thought Vivio supposed to be the one that deliver this…" once again asked Ave, as he decided to elaborate his question further. "I have some free time between missions and after Winter Cup when Vivio-san asked me to visit commander Yagami with her. It was when they decided to ask me to deliver this article to you while having a vacation here on Earth. Since you are also about to take a week off before returning to Midchilda, I thought it might be a great idea to enjoy this vacation together, Ave-san…" innocently and politely answered Einhalt back before she decided to explain the situation that led to her arrival here in this Sakhalin Base afterwards.
"Okay…" muttered Ave before he finally realized what it meant and face-palmed. "Ave-san?" innocently asked Einhalt while tilting her head slightly at the same time. "I'm guessing that Hayate-san and Vivio are trying to get us into a date by the look of it. Still it was quite crafty for them to come up with this idea…" explained Ave, as Einhalt instantly paralysed when realizing why she was here in the first place. "Uhm, do you not like that, Ave-san?" dejectedly asked Einhalt while avoiding Ave's direct gaze as well, at the same time. "Well, if you don't mind, how about we go on a date starting from today after I finished with today's combat trial, Einhalt. Since I have no plans for the day, might start my vacation earlier together with you as well…" answered Ave back, as Einhalt's face started to brighten after he gave her a lifeline to use. "Sure, I'll be waiting until you done, Ave-san. Just don't get yourself hurt in the process…" replied Einhalt back while cheerfully smiling at him in return.
"I won't be long, Einhalt. Also, thanks for delivering this to me..." thanked Ave before he bid Einhalt a farewell and left her alone in Sakhalin Base's visitor lounge afterwards. "You're welcome, Ave-san…" politely acknowledged Einhalt, as she also bid Ave a farewell as well, at the same time. Once again, Einhalt was alone together with her faithful Device and companion, Asteion, as Ave has already left to participate on today's combat trial. From the story that Hayate and Vivio has previously told her, Ave was chosen as Time-Space Administrative Bureau's representative and test pilot for a prototype unit of ESUN's next generation non-GN Drive-powered general purpose mobile suit. Currently Anaheim Electronics and Nergal Heavy Industies manufactured twelve of these prototypes for data gathering, as Time-Space Administrative Bureau's Technical Division 4 has successfully acquire one of them.
"RGM-88X Jeda, a successor for RGM-86R Nouvel GM III in which ESUN has been deployed in the past. According to commander Yagami and Vivio-san, it has less durable armour than other more recent models but more cost efficient to produce…" muttered Einhalt alone under her breath, as she recalled the name of this aforementioned prototype unit that her beloved Ave-san would be piloting. In the past, for more than one occasion, Ave pilots non-GN Drive-powered mobile suit units. The first one that Einhalt manage to vividly remember was Slave Wraith, an RX-79 [G] Gundam Ground Type that Time-Space Administrative Bureau's Technical Division 4 heavily customised for her beloved Ave-san's personal use. It was a decent combat unit in which slightly more powerful than RX-79 [G] Gundam Ground Type itself, as well as its other variant, RX-79 [G] Ez-8 Gundam Ez8 of Kojima Battalion's 08th Mobile Suit Team that Einhalt has previously encounter in battle.
Unfortunately, other more powerful non-GN Drive-powered mobile suits such as CW-RX-80PR Pale Rider and CW-RX-81FC G-Line Full Custom that Ave piloted in the past would completely outclass RX-79 [G] SW Slave Wraith, as Einhalt started to realize it when examining each of these mobile suits' specs in the past. "Ave-san often damage Slave Wraith's joints when he pushed it beyond its limit. Only after receiving Pale Rider and G-Line Full Custom that he could showcase his skill without damaging any of them in the process…" once again muttered Einhalt alone under her breath before letting a small sigh out afterwards. Still, she also realize that her beloved Ave was more suited to pilot GN Drive-powered mobile suits such as Celestial Being's second and third generation Gundam. Since only when piloting those aforementioned Celestial Being's second and third generation Gundam units that he could finally demonstrate his full potential as another emerging natural born Innovator as well as Time Diver's candidate.
"Nyaa?" meowed Asteion as it cutely staring at its beloved master, Einhalt while sitting on her lap. "Everything is fine, Tio. I was only just reminiscing over some past adventures and misadventures that involve both Ave-san and myself. Other than that, it all is good…" reassured Einhalt while smiling back towards her faithful Device, Asteion. It was after she reassured Asteion that Einhalt saw first lieutenant Akane Suzumiya, a young female Eishi that she and Vivio have befriended with approaching her. "Stratos, what are you doing here?" curiously asked Akane, as she was surprised to see Einhalt here, alone by herself. "I am visiting Ave-san, as we plan to leave together this evening. How about you, Suzumiya-san? I thought you decided to take a teaching position in Fuji Tactical Fighter Training Centre as per-Vivio-san's mother and first lieutenant Vita's recommendation…" replied Einhalt in which also equally surprised to see Akane here.
"I am here for Shiranui Second's combat evaluation together with the rest of Skuld Squadron's Eishi. Now that everything has been concluded and wrapped up nicely, I will be leaving early tomorrow morning while captain Munakata and first lieutenant Kazama will be staying back to do some other stuff. If not mistaken, they would act as an OPFOR against the new prototype that Executive Officer Assistant Takamachi pilots in today's combat trial. I wonder if it is strong enough to face Urd Squadron's Gekkō alone…" explained Akane before mentioning about the combat trial that Ave participated today. "I am confident that Ave-san will definitely be fine. Since this new prototype that Anaheim and Nergal manufactured together should be a lot more versatile despite having less durable armour compared to its current predecessor, Nouvel GM III…" politely responded Einhalt, as she firmly told Akane on how this aforementioned prototype that her beloved Ave piloted, RGM-88X Jeda should be able to defeat Urd Squadron's Type-02 Gekkō.
"Well, we should wait for the result this afternoon, Stratos. In the meantime, are you free until then?" casually replied Akane while asking on whether Einhalt happens to be free until this afternoon. "Uhm, actually I am. Do you need me to help you with something, Suzumiya-san?" once again replied Einhalt back politely before asking whether Akane would require her assistance on something. "Yes and no, Stratos. How about you spar with me until your beloved Executive Officer Assistant Takamachi completed today's combat trial?" answered Akane, as she invited Einhalt to spar with her. "Would it be fine for me, a visitor to spar with veteran Eishi like yourself, Suzumiya-san? I heard they have quite strict regulation about that…" politely asked Einhalt in order to make sure that she could actually spar with Akane despite of her current visitor status.
"It should be fine, Stratos. Since I would temporarily register you as civilian collaborator. Unless captain Munakata find out about it, I'm sure you won't break any of those strict regulations just by accepting my invitation to spar…" answered Akane while once again reassuring Einhalt that they would be fine. It was after Akane successful convincing that Einhalt agreed to spar with her. "By the way, you can just call me Einhalt or Haru-nyan instead of Stratos. Since we have known each other for quite some times already, Suzumiya-san…" replied Einhalt before requesting Akane to just either refer her with first or nickname basis instead.
"How about Einhalt then and in return, you can just call me Akane? Since all of this formality sometimes sounds a little too stiff for me as well…" responded Akane back, as she was agree to call Einhalt by an affectionate nickname Einhalt from now on. "Certainly, Suzumiya…eeer…I mean Akane-san. By the way, shall we get going? Since I also looking forward to spar with you…" acknowledged Einhalt before she suggested that they should get ready for this friendly spar immediately. "Sure! Just to let you know that I am stronger than before, Einhalt. So don't let your guard down or you will regret it in no time…" playfully warned Akane while grinning at Einhalt as well, simultaneously. "Likewise, Akane-san. Since this Hegemon's fist and Kaiser Arts that I inherited has now becoming stronger as well…" calmly replied Einhalt back before she together with Akane headed to one of Sakhalin Base's simulation chambers and begin their spar shortly afterwards.
ACT 3
It definitely took a bit longer for Akane to get ready, as Einhalt has been waiting in her "Armed Form", ready for action. In her "Armed Form", Einhalt's Barrier Jacket consisted of a light-green mini dress covered by a white jacket, long white socks and black boots. There were also long, puffy sleeves on her dress, gloves around her hands, choker on her neck and large red ribbon on her long silvery-green hair. Ave once told Einhalt that her Barrier Jacket has made her "Armed Form" gorgeous even before she received Asteion. He would also later on told her that Asteion has done a very good job for adjusting her Barrier Jacket to make it look even more gorgeous than before. Remembering all of that has made Einhalt blushing, as she secretly felt happy when he praised her. Since it also probably when she started to develop a crush on him as well, in the first place.
"Nyaa?" telepathically asked Asteion by meowing, as it has been absorbed into Einhalt's body upon activation to perform better auxiliary control. "I only am remembering several instances when Ave-san praised my Barrier Jacket before and after you made some adjustments on it. Because of that, I should be thanking you for doing so. Thank you, Tio…" thanked Einhalt, as she also let a small chuckle out while replying at Asteion's telepathic enquiry just now. "Nyaa!" meowed Asteion happily while continuing its task to mitigate any damage that Einhalt received, as well as helping her to recover faster from it. Einhalt in return only smiled before turning her attention towards Type-89 Feedback Protector (FP), a combat variant of Type-89 Mechanized Infantry Armour that has just arrived not so long ago.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Einhalt. Since it took me a while to boot this Type-89 FP up from the storage…" apologized Akane, as she was still in process of transferring her Feedback Interface's combat data into Type-89 Feedback Protector's onboard computer system. "I also have just arrived myself, Akane-san. Therefore, you aren't actually late in this regard…" calmly replied Einhalt while readying her fighting stance as well, simultaneously. "Still, I'm not the type of person that like to keep others waiting. Especially when I am the one that invite them, Einhalt…" argued Akane, as she responded back at Einhalt's calm reply just now. In return, Einhalt was only smiling at Akane before once again reassured her that she has also only just arrived not so long ago. "I fully understand that, Akane-san. Again, you shouldn't let yourself worrying about it, as I have only arrived and get myself ready for our spar. So, it is all good…" reassured Einhalt, as she successfully convinced Akane to stop feel bad about it.
It wasn't long after Einhalt finished her sentence that the hulking Type-89 Feedback Protector that Akane currently pilots has completed of booting itself up. With combat data from Akane's Feedback Interface, its OS (Operating System) has now learnt to accommodate her personal fighting style and combat doctrine. Einhalt remembered on how similar Akane's fighting style and combat doctrine was with Rinne Berlinetta, as she always crushed her enemies with sheer firepower and brute force. During Operation Cherry Blossom in which Einhalt herself also participated, Akane in her Tactical Surface Fighter, Type-94-1C Shiranui Type-1C successfully destroy Carrier-class BETA single-handedly by detonating S-11 Self Destruct System after previously engage it in tight close quarter combat armed only with a pair of Type-87 Assault Cannon and Type-74 PB Blade melee halberd.
From everything that she personally witnessed on that day, Einhalt realized that Akane Suzumiya was indeed a formidable fighter. She defeated hundreds of BETA hordes alone while still also manage to take a single Carrier-class BETA down with only sacrificing her Shiranui Type-1C's right arm. According to her beloved younger girlfriend, Vivio, this young Eishi, Akane Suzumiya has also proven tenacious as she still fought ferociously to defend Yokohama Base even after getting heavily injured when a Grappler-class BETA heavily damaged her old Type-94 Shiranui. Because of that, as she was about to spar with her, Einhalt decided to fight cautiously. Since only by doing so that she could hope to swiftly defeat Akane without getting injured in the process.
"Just to let you know, I'm now stronger than before, Einhalt! Since fighting all these opponents other than BETA has expanded my knowledge to deal with different type of enemies as well!" declared Akane before she decided to take an initiative by ramming her Type-89 Feedback Protector's oversized heavy right fist towards Einhalt simultaneously. Einhalt quickly raised her left arm, as a silvery-green coloured Belkan triangle appeared in front of her left arm before completely blocking Akane's attack afterwards. It was also when the onboard computer system that has been installed in Akane's Type-89 Feedback Protector quickly inform her of the said magical silvery-green coloured Belka triangle that appear in front of Einhalt's left hand happens to be identify as "Panzerschild", an Old Belka's shield-type defensive spell, in which comparable to Modern Belka's Tri Shield and Midchildan's Round Shield.
"I look forward to see that, Akane-san…" calmly responded Einhalt while smiling towards Akane as well, in return. She could definitely sensed Akane's improvement just by blocking her attack with Old Belka's shield-type defensive spell, "Panzerschild" just now. "Then, I show you how an Eishi fight and emerge victorious in the end!" once again declared Akane, as she punched Einhalt using her Type-89 Feedback Protector's oversized heavy left fist as well, in return. Instead of blocking the incoming oversized heavy left fist that Akane's Type-89 Feedback Protector launched, Einhalt swiftly ducked and circled around her opponent in order to disorientate her. Once she positioned herself behind Akane's Type-89 Feedback Protector, Einhalt planted both of her feet firmly on the ground and twisting her upper body slightly at the same time. Combined with a precise timing that she mastered, Einhalt clenched her right fist and with acceleration from its spinning motion launched her ultimate (aimed) shooting spell.
"Hegemon Sky-breaking Sever (Haō Kūha Dan)!"
It was when a powerful energy shockwave attack crashed on Akane's Type-89 Feedback Protector and completely tore its right shoulder, in which a portable eight-shot rocket pod has been installed. "Shi…" cursed Akane, as she quickly spun her Type-89 Feedback Protector before coming face to face with her opponent, the young Hegemon-girl, Einhalt Stratos. "Uhm, language please, Akane-san…" politely teased Einhalt before readying her fighting stance and smiled towards Akane as well, in return. "Don't get cocky, Einhalt! I am just about to get serious now!" shouted Akane back, as she decided to attack Einhalt using .50 calibre machinegun that has been fixed on her Type-89 Feedback Protector's left shoulder. Once again Einhalt decided to raise her left arm to activate her Old Belka's shield-type defensive spell, "Panzerschild" before running around Akane's now damaged Type-89 Feedback Protector in circles.
"That same lame trick won't work twice on me, Einhalt! Just give up and accept your defeat!" taunted Akane while hailing the said young Hegemon-girl, Einhalt Stratos with paintball bullets in which her Type-89 Feedback Protector's .50 calibre machinegun has been loaded with. Having said that, none of these paintball bullets manage to hit Einhalt, as she either skilfully dodged or blocked them. For some reason, Einhalt always manage to read and anticipate Akane's tactic, as if she has previously fought against someone that also employ the exact same strategy in the past. Unbeknownst to Akane, Einhalt did once fight against similar opponents when Special Duty Section 6 and their ally, former Titans Test Team (T3) Corps, Glory Star stranded in war-torn Astragius Galaxy by accident.
In this war-torn Astragius Galaxy, Einhalt fought alongside Special Duty Section 6 and Glory Star against enemies from Astragius Galaxy's warring nations that secretly wished to stole their technology, especially the "TR Series" and "Inle's Wings" in which Glory Star has invented with Caledfwlch Techniques' assistance. It was when defending Special Duty Section 6 and Glory Star that Einhalt encountered Astragius Galaxy's elite AT-Squad in which famed for their ferocity, the "Red Shoulder". Against "Red Shoulder's" customised ATM-09-RSC Scopedog Red Shoulder Custom and their elite pilots, Einhalt often found herself in a perilous situation, in which one small mistake could cost her dearly. Thankfully, she wasn't alone when fighting these "Red Shoulder's" elite pilots, as Einhalt knew exactly how deadly her enemies are after all.
It was through her encounter with these aforementioned ferocious opponents that Einhalt learnt how to fight mechanical infantry units more effectively. Since unlike the sixty-five feet tall mobile suit, mechanized infantry units such as twelve feet tall AT-units were often proven to be a lot more difficult to deal with due to their smaller and compact size. Compared to the "Red Shoulder's" Scopedogs she once fought, Einhalt found that Akane's Type-89 Feedback Protector has been easier to deal with. Since unlike the seasoned "Red Shoulder" in which always fought in a group, Akane was currently alone in her damaged Type-89 Feedback Protector. Therefore, Einhalt knew exactly well on how everything would played out, as the only option left for Akane was to overwhelm her with a devastating unstoppable firepower from Type-89 Feedback Protector's .50 calibre machinegun that has been fixed on its left shoulder.
"Not bad, Akane-san. Although, you fail to pay attention towards your surrounding unfortunately…" muttered Einhalt alone under her breath, as she sprinted towards Akane's damaged Type-89 Feedback Protector while having her Old Belka's shield-type defensive spell, "Panzerschild" remain active at the same time. "What the f…!" cursed Akane, as she just only realized Einhalt's strategy when everything has already too late for her. She tried to desperately take the said young Hegemon-girl, Einhalt Stratos down using her Type-89 Feedback Protector's .50 calibre machinegun. Although, unfortunately for Akane, Einhalt always kept her Old Belka's shield-type defensive spell, "Panzerschild" active all the time. "Sorry, Akane-san. It seems that I am going to win this time around as well…" politely apologized Einhalt before she slides underneath Akane's damaged Type-89 Feedback Protector before executing her ultimate magic-enhanced attack spell, "Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle" on it afterwards.
"Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle (Haō Dankū Ken)!"
"Yikes!" shrieked Akane as Einhalt's well-connected "Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle" hit her damaged Type-89 Feedback Protector from underneath, completely destroy both of its legs' joint in the process. Almost instantly, her previously damaged Type-89 Feedback Protector fell, crumble under its own weight, as Akane quickly escaped from it. "Uhm, are you okay, Akane-san?" worriedly asked Einhalt while approaching her at the same time. Akane in return was only letting a small sigh out before answering Einhalt's question while grinning at her.
"I'm okay, Einhalt. This Type-73 Fortified Suit has protected me somehow. Although, damn! I still couldn't win against you…" answered Akane, as she expressed her frustration for losing in this friendly spar against Einhalt. "It was a good fight, Akane-san. Since you are doing extremely well with only Type-89 Feedback Protector at your disposal…" corrected Einhalt while reassuring Akane that she has actually done quite well in this friendly spar after all. "A, ha, ha, ha. You are a nice person, Einhalt. I am fine and this kind of defeat won't be enough to make me give up just yet!" cheerfully responded Akane before sheepishly laughing at the said young Hegemon-girl, Einhalt Stratos as well, in return. It was when Akane noticed on how Einhalt's previously worried expression started to relax after she listened at her cheerful respond just now.
"I'm sorry for going overboard with my attack before, Akane-san. Even though it just a friendly spar, I accidentally destroy your Feedback Protector with my Sky-severing Knuckle…" apologized Einhalt, as she was certainly feel guilty for completely wrecking Akane's Type-89 Feedback Protector with her ultimate magic-enhanced attack spell, "Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle" or "Haō Dankū Ken" just now. "Well, the report that I need to write and submit undoubtedly going to be a nightmare. Still, I don't think anyone would blame us for accidentally destroy this old Feedback Protector anyway, Einhalt. So, you shouldn't feel guilty over it…" casually reassured Akane while complaining over any paperwork that she would personally need to write and submit as well, simultaneously.
"Should I help you to write it, Akane-san?" politely asked Einhalt before she offered her help as well, in return. "Nah, they will definitely find out if you help me, Einhalt. Also, I don't think it would be nice for me to let this kind of paperwork interrupt your well-earned vacation with Executive Officer Assistant Takamachi after all…" casually declined Akane while sheepishly grinning towards Einhalt as well, at the same time. "Uhm, well…it actually won't trouble me to help you write this report, Akane-san. Since I'm sure Ave-san wouldn't mind that…" stated Einhalt before she reassuringly smiled at Akane as well, in return. Akane was about to argue back, as Einhalt quickly shook her head while keep on smiling reassuringly at her. It was when Akane let a small sigh out before she decided to give up arguing against the said young Hegemon-girl, Einhalt Stratos.
"Okay, Einhalt! You win! But, I don't want you to start writing right away. Do it after you return to Midchilda and just email me when it has been completed. Do you agree with this arrangement, Einhalt Stratos?" responded Akane while outlining her own term and condition that Einhalt must follow. "Are you sure that captain Munakata will allow it, Akane-san? She might want you to write it by this evening or early tomorrow morning…" argued Einhalt, as she was wondering on whether Akane's superior officer, captain Misae Munakata of 12th Squadron Urd would agree to give her more than a week to write that report. In return Akane quickly shook her head before she decided to reassure Einhalt that everything would just be fine.
"I convince captain Munakata and first lieutenant Kazama to give us extra time with my report, as they usually are pretty cool with that. So, don't worry too much and enjoy your well-earned holiday with Executive Officer Assistant Takamachi first, Einhalt. Our report could wait until then…" reassured Akane, as she once again told Einhalt to just enjoy her well-earned vacation with Ave for now. "I will definitely do that, Akane-san. Just don't get yourself killed by Munakata-san and Kazama-san while I'm on vacation with Ave-san…" half-jokingly replied Einhalt before she let a small chuckle out as well, in return. It was when Akane inhaled deeply and grinned towards Einhalt, as they left the simulation chamber behind. "When it happens, I will be counting on you to save me, Einhalt…" responded Akane back, as she and Einhalt finally conclude their friendly spar.
ACT 4
"Ave-san!" happily greeted Einhalt, as her face started to brighten once again. "Sorry to keep you waiting, Einhalt. It took me a while to properly conclude today's combat trial…" apologized Ave while clasping both of his hands to form an apologetic Buddha gesture afterwards. "It's all fine, Ave-san. Since I also just finished my friendly spar with Suzumiya-san not so long ago…" replied Einhalt before mentioning her friendly spar with Akane this morning. "So, you met Suzumiya. Did she mention anything about me?" asked Ave while responding back at Einhalt's reply just now. "She didn't, Ave-san. Is anything happen between you two?" replied Einhalt with another question, as she was wondering on what have happened between her beloved Ave-san and first lieutenant Akane Suzumiya in the past.
"We were once having an argument over Shiranui Second's performance against Silent Eagle's. Other than that, there was no animosity between us, Einhalt. So, you no need to worry about it…" explained Ave before he smiled and reassured Einhalt that everything was fine between him and Akane. "I'm glad that everything is fine between you two. Since it would be difficult for me to pick side in this argument, Ave-san…" replied Einhalt while letting a small relieved sigh out towards Ave as well, in return.
"Well, we won't hate each other over such argument, Einhalt. So, you shouldn't worry about picking side in this matter anytime soon…" reassured Ave, as he also teased Einhalt for worrying about it a little too much. "Ugh! Of course I'm worried about you two. Since I cherish both Suzumiya-san and yourself very dearly, Ave-san…" once again replied Einhalt while pouting towards Ave's teasing as well, simultaneously. "Believe me or not, it definitely is difficult when you need to pick side, Einhalt. Especially when each one of them has been someone that you love and cherish dearly…" acknowledged Ave in his respond towards Einhalt's reply just now.
"Have you experienced such thing before, Ave-san?" curiously asked Einhalt, as she was staring at Ave with her beautiful mismatched purple and blue eyes in return. "I don't think I have, Einhalt. Since we always pick the same side together with everyone else…" answered Ave while smiling towards his beloved young Hegemon-girl, Einhalt Stratos as well, at the same time. "A, ha, ha, ha. For some reason, we always pick the same side during First Defensive War, aren't we?" acknowledged Einhalt, as she also sheepishly laughed while replying back at Ave's answer just now. "Yes we are and isn't it actually a good thing, Einhalt? Especially when we decided to stick together to fight both Titans and A-Laws. Otherwise, we could never hope to overcome our enemies' relentless and merciless onslaught…" responded Ave while mentioning the positive outcome of their choice in the past.
"Glad that we actually made the right choice, Ave-san. So, shall we go now? Since we don't want to miss our ferry for tonight…" suggested Einhalt in her reply towards Ave's respond just now. "I think we should, Einhalt. Do you need to let Suzumiya know that we are leaving?" responded Ave back before asking Einhalt another question as well, in return. "I had already done that, Ave-san. How about you? Do you need to let Munakata-san and Kazama-san know that we are about to leave?" answered Einhalt back, as she also asked Ave the same question as well, afterwards. "I also have done that, Einhalt. So, we are good to go and enjoy our holiday together then…" responded Ave while grinning towards the young Hegemon-girl, Einhalt Stratos in which also smiling back at him as well, in return.
"Sure, please lead the way, Ave-san…" cheerfully replied Einhalt while grabbing onto his arm. It was when both Ave and Einhalt catch the next available bus to Korsakov in which a passenger ferry would be available to take them to Wakkanai via Aniva Gulf. Approximately an hour afterwards, they finally arrived in Korsakov in which a ferry service would be available for them. "Do you want to grab an early dinner before we board our ferry, Einhalt? Or should we just have a late supper after arriving at Wakkanai?" asked Ave, as he spotted a small café across the road from where he and Einhalt have been standing. "How about a light meal, Ave-san? Of course if you don't actually mind that…" politely suggested Einhalt while answering Ave's question just now. It was when Ave gave Einhalt an approval nod before responding back at her suggestion as well, in return.
"Sure, Einhalt. Since I actually am a bit hungry myself…" responded Ave back, as he together with Einhalt that once again grabbing onto his arm decided to cross the road and enter the aforementioned small café itself, afterwards. The first thing that Ave and Einhalt noticed as they enter the said small café itself was empty chairs and tables, as only a pair of elderly couple happen to be there. Nevertheless, their food and beverages were fresh, as well as tasty at the same time. Einhalt delightfully enjoyed her slice of pizza topped with melting cheese, chopped tomato, onion and basil while Ave was having a ham and cheese croissant in which he also personally found delicious.
"What do you think about the food here, Einhalt?" curiously asked Ave, as he took a small sip of his hot blended black tea known as "Russian Caravan" afterwards. "They are surprisingly good, Ave-san. Since the lack of visitors have previously made me worry a little…" replied Einhalt while cheerfully smiling towards Ave as well, at the same time. "Glad that you like the food here, Einhalt. Since I for once also worried that it might taste terrible. Again, we used to Midori-ya's five stars level of beverages and cuisines in which still proven unbeatable among their peers…" responded Ave back before praising Midori-ya for their award-winning level of beverages and cuisines, shortly afterwards. "I wholeheartedly agree with you, Ave-san. Although to be perfectly honest, I find this place isn't half bad either…" affirmatively replied Einhalt, as she once again smiled and enjoyed the last bite of her pizza as well, in return.
Both Ave and Einhalt continue to enjoy their light meal together, as they casually talk over different subjects. From Fūka's improvement as a martial artist under Einhalt's tutelage to Republic of Zeon's United Maintenance Plan in which Ave has been recently getting involved with, these seemingly endless topic of conversation have keep them engaged to one another even after they took the final bite of their respective meal. Ave certainly interested to hear more about Einhalt's one and only protégé, Fūka Reventón in which also happen to secretly admire him. Einhalt in return was also curious about Republic of Zeon's United Maintenance Plan in which Ave and Shari have been getting involved with, as it somehow piqued her interest as well. It was when Ave decided to give Einhalt an unexpected remark while smiling at her.
"You've changed, Einhalt. I mean in a good way…" said Ave, as his remark just now has somehow caught Einhalt off guard. "Eh? Did I?" innocently asked Einhalt with surprised expression shown on her face. Ave in meantime was only affirmatively nodding back at her before he explained his reasoning as well, shortly afterwards. "You are very rigid when we first met, Einhalt. Now that you are able to smile more often and engaged in this friendly casual conversation with me, I truly feel glad and relieved…" explained Ave while simultaneously still smiling at her as well.
"Uhm, it actually is quite embarrassing when you say that to me, Ave-san…" sheepishly replied Einhalt before taking another sip of her hot coffee and smiled towards him as well, in return. "Still, I actually am relieved to see that you are now a lot relaxed than before, Einhalt. Since it actually worried me when I saw you covered in bandages and bruises almost in daily basis. Plus, you were also extremely quiet back then…" once again stated Ave in his respond towards Einhalt's reply just now, as he also smiling at her as well, in return.
"Both Vivio-san and you have helped me to overcome my problem and anxiety, Ave-san. Because of that, I could now participate in this casual conversation while sincerely smiling at you from the bottom of my heart…" replied Einhalt back, as she acknowledged Ave (and Vivio) for helping her in the past. It was also when she decided to thank Ave while smiling at him as well, in return. "Didn't I promise you to take half of your burden away with me, Einhalt? Since I only tried to fulfil that promise to you, someone that I also love and cherish dearly…" responded Ave, as Einhalt almost instantly blushed when she heard that. It was also when she decided to change their subject of conversation by asking him an unrelated question and bashfully smiling at him as well, simultaneously.
"By the way, what do you think of this eternal reality's new timeline, Ave-san?" calmly and politely asked Einhalt while smiling at him. "For me, it is almost identical to the other old timelines that we experienced together, Einhalt. The only different that I could possibly noticing is how multiple small dimensional boundary distortions not long ago have been detected in Central Europe. So far, no major incidents have occurred because of that, thankfully…" answered Ave before mentioning multiple dimensional boundary distortions that recently have appeared across Central Europe. "They never previously appeared aren't they, Ave-san?" once again asked Einhalt while staring at him with her beautiful mismatched purple and blue eyes as well, in return. "Not in this eternal reality's old timelines, Einhalt. Since they only started to appear after we seal Arca de Recluse away at the end of Frozen Teardrop Incident…" answered Ave, as he decided to remind her that none of these small dimensional boundary distortions have existed in this eternal reality's old timelines after all.
"I wonder if our decision to seal Arca de Recluse has made these dimensional boundary distortions appear. What do you think of it, Ave-san?" replied Einhalt back before she decided to ask Ave for his opinion this time around. "Not sure if Arca de Recluse and these dimensional boundary distortions are actually related to one another, Einhalt. I however personally suspect that those two have somehow related after all. Anyway, we probably should leave now, as our ferry would be departing in one and a half hours…" once again answered Ave, as he decided to also remind Einhalt of their departure's schedule afterwards. "I agree with you, Ave-san. Let us continue our discussion later, as we have approximately four and a half hours until our ferry arrive in Wakkanai…" acknowledged Einhalt in her reply towards Ave's answer, as she was also simultaneously smiling and nodding back at him.
On their way to the port, Ave and Einhalt spotted three RMS-179 GM II Semi-Striker units guarding the entire block together with a pair of United Maintenance Plan's MSM-03C Hygogg amphibious units. According to Ave, other more advanced units such as MiG-29OVT Fulcrum, Su-37M2 Terminator and GNX-609T GN-XIII were stationed in Sakhalin Base, as only older models have been more than enough to patrol the area around it, as well as small town of Korsakov itself. It also when Einhalt made a casual remark on how these GM II Semi-Striker have somehow reminded her of RGM-79FP GM Striker that she saw when infiltrating COG's occupied California Base together with ESUN's special force unit, Phantom Sweep Corps led by two of Ave's acquaintances, captain Hugues Courand and first lieutenant Cherie Allison (Tatiana Doerr).
"They reminded me of GM Striker, Ave-san. Although for some reason, they also are look more streamlined or in a better term plainer…" remarked Einhalt, as she smiled towards her beloved companion, Ave as well, in return. "GM II Semi-Striker is a custom GM II created at Australia's Torrington Base by reusing spare parts from existing machines, thus it still retain the same model number of its original counterpart. Other than having its Operating System rewritten to accommodate close-quarter-combat, Semi-Striker's power output, acceleration and sensor range are identical to the normal outdated GM II. Because of that, most of them were stationed in the area that has a low strategic value such as remote military bases or small town similar to those GM Strikers that we saw in the past, Einhalt…" explained Ave while responding back at Einhalt's remark just now.
"No wonder they are look a lot more streamlined compare to the original GM Striker. Since Semi-Strikers are created using its spare parts…" muttered Einhalt before she decided to walk closer to the pier's entrance while staring at those three GM II Semi-Strikers for every now and then. "In theory, these Semi-Strikers should have stronger generator output, Einhalt. Although, I also am almost certain that those Hygogg's pilots would fare better when defending this area…" casually remarked Ave, as he and Einhalt walk through the pier's entrance. "Are you sure, Ave-san? I thought Hygogg supposedly based on Gogg, one of the oldest amphibious machines that Republic of Zeon's Zimmad Company manufactured during One Year War…" curiously asked Einhalt while handing her ferry ticket and passport at the port operation officer in front of them.
"I believe that pilots' skill and ingenuity play an important factor in combat, Einhalt. Especially when I have seen older units such as Type-89 Kagerō or Zaku II Custom manage to beat stronger opponents in the past…" explained Ave back in his respond towards Einhalt's question just now, as he also handed his own ferry ticket and passport at the port operation officer in front of them. Einhalt in return was only affirmatively nodding back and smiled at Ave before once again grabbing onto his arm.
"Have you done it before? Defeating stronger opponents with an outdated mobile suit…" curiously asked Einhalt before staring at him with her beautiful mismatched purple and blue eyes afterwards. "I've done it once in the past, Einhalt. During Operation Silver Lance, I defeat four Gadessa and three Garazzo using G-Line Full Custom single-handedly…" answered Ave back while grinning proudly at his beloved younger companion, Einhalt Stratos as well, at the same time.
"I thought G-Line Full Custom is essentially happen to be another Gundam in disguise, Ave-san. So, it doesn't count for being an outdated unit then…" argued Einhalt, as she decided to remind Ave on how CW-RX-81FC G-Line Full Custom that he piloted happens to be a machine that were developed to completely and perfectly replicating all of the RX-78 series Gundam's capabilities. In other words, underneath its GM-like monocoque armour plates was essentially a Universal Century's RX-78 series Gundam unit. "W-well, G-Line Full Custom is still somehow outdated compare to both Gadessa and Garazzo. Even if it happens to be an RX-78 series Gundam in disguise, Einhalt…" replied Ave while arguing that the aforementioned mobile suit, CW-RX-81FC G-Line Full Custom was still somehow outdated compare to A-Laws' GNZ-003 Gadessa and GNZ-005 Garazzo.
"I'm sure the old Gundam from One Year War still is strong enough to fight Gadessa and Garazzo evenly, Ave-san. Anyway, shall we continue our discussion later? Since it almost our departure time already…" responded Einhalt back before reminding him of their departure time this time around. "It probably is a good idea, Einhalt. Let's go…" approvingly replied Ave back, as he together with Einhalt decided to continue their discussion onboard the said passenger ferry that would take them to Wakkanai. At least by doing so, the supposedly uneventful four and a half hours travelling time to Wakkanai has now became a lot more interesting, as they continue their previously unfinished discussion together.
ACT 5
After spending four and a half hours journey across Sea of Okhotsk, as well as another additional forty minutes travelling time from Wakkanai Port International Ferry Terminal by car, Ave and Einhalt finally arrived at their humble accommodation, a typical family run three-stars Japanese guesthouse in which located only four to five minutes walk from Cape Sōya and Sōyamisaki Lighthouse. "I already change my booking from a single bedroom to a twin bedroom and luckily they have one, Einhalt. So, what do you think of this place?" casually asked Ave while smiling at Einhalt as well, at the same time. "For some reason, it reminds me to Hotel Alpine. Although unlike Hotel Alpine, this place is relatively smaller, Ave-san…" answered Einhalt back, as she lifted her travel duffel bag and carry it on her right shoulder.
"Everything would definitely small if you compare them with Hotel Alpine, Einhalt. That place is literally as big as or even bigger than Torrington Base after all…" casually argued Ave while grinning at Einhalt, as he reminded her over Hotel Alpine's size at the same time. "I sometimes wonder on how Lutecia-san and her mother manage to build as well as take a good care of Hotel Alpine, Ave-san. Since they are happen to be the only one that live in Carnaaji…" stated Einhalt in her reply towards Ave's argument before she decided to also follow him to this aforementioned family run three-stars Japanese guesthouse's reception lounge afterwards. "I'm not sure as well, Einhalt. Although it might actually has something to do with her newly found interest in architecture design and magic, I believe…" responded Ave back, as he and Einhalt entered the said family run three-stars Japanese guesthouse's reception lounge together.
"Lutecia-san did mention that she wish to renovate Hotel Alpine, Ave-san. She said the one that we visited is only an experiment for the actual thing…" replied Einhalt while acknowledging Ave's respond and explanation just now. "Sometimes Lutecia does remind me to Hayate-san, as they both often come up with these kind of crazy ideas for every now and then. Don't you agree, Einhalt?" playfully asked Ave right after he handed his passport and booking reference over to the receptionist in front of him. "Both commander Yagami and Lutecia-san are extremely creative, as well as talented. Therefore, it never surprised me if they often come up with something unique, Ave-san…" calmly answered Einhalt while smiling at him as well, in return. In the meantime, Ave was only approvingly nodded back at Einhalt before he accepted a pair of keys for their room afterwards.
Right after completing their late check-in, both Ave and Einhalt decided to enjoy a blissful, as well as rejuvenating hot soak in a small communal public bath that also located within the aforementioned family run three-stars Japanese guesthouse itself. Thankfully no one seems to use the aforementioned in-house communal public bath itself, as both Ave and Einhalt could somehow enjoy the tranquillity in each of their respective baths. It was after finishing their blissful, as well as rejuvenating hot soak, Ave and Einhalt decided to have a late supper together.
Luckily, the guesthouse's owner was nice enough to prepare and cook a simple yet hearty meal for them, a traditional Japanese rice soup or "zosui" made from leftover salmon hot pot's broth with thinly sliced shiitake mushroom, finely chopped scallions and two beaten eggs. In the end, despite entirely made from leftover salmon hot pot's broth from today's dinner, this traditional Japanese rice soup or "zosui" was definitely tasty. Ave and Einhalt were undoubtedly enjoyed this late supper together. The meal was simple yet hearty, as it keep them warm in this cold temperature of Hokkaido's snowy winter night.
Einhalt in particular has been amazed on how this guesthouse's owner manage to cook her, as well as Ave a simple yet hearty meal using any leftover from today's dinner. Especially when they previously expect themselves to only probably get cup noodles for their late supper. Fortunately enough, the guesthouse's owner was nice enough to cook them an unscheduled late supper, as they checked-in extremely late tonight. Because of that, both Ave and Einhalt decided to enjoy their late supper quietly, as they wish not to interrupt other guests in which have already been sleeping. After they finished their late supper together, Ave and Einhalt decided to voluntarily wash their own dishes before retreating back to their room in which located on the third floor.
The twin bedroom that Ave booked-in for two nights was quite spacious, as it consisted of two separate beds, a working desk, two chairs, fixed wardrobe on the wall, an old flat-screen television and shower-only bathroom. Other than amenities that people commonly found in regular Japanese business hotel or guesthouse, Ave and Einhalt found a portable U.M.N or Unus Mundus Network Terminal on the working desk in which located next to the said old flat-screen television unit itself. "Uhm, do you mind if I use this U.M.N Terminal, Ave-san? Since it probably wiser for me to update some of the apps that Tio has installed just recently…" asked Einhalt while sheepishly smiling towards Ave as well, at the same time. "Sure, Einhalt. I already have Durandal fully charged and updated before we left Sakhalin Base this afternoon. So, it all yours…" replied Ave back before he enter the bathroom to brush his teeth, wash his face and getting ready to sleep. Einhalt also decided to do the same after Ave exited, as both of them soon are ready to hit the hay.
"Are you still awake, Einhalt?" asked Ave, as he found it difficult to immediately start sleeping. "Uhm, yes I am, Ave-san. For some reason, I currently am unable to sleep…" replied Einhalt back before she turned her head and smiled towards her beloved older companion, Ave. "We might just feel a little restless after spending time together this afternoon, Einhalt. Shall we chat to ease our mind off?" suggested Ave after responding back at Einhalt's reply just now. "Sure, as it actually is a good idea. Is there any particular topic that you wish to talk with me, Ave-san?" replied Einhalt back with another question, as she was definitely more than eager to chat with him. It was when Ave decided to casually ask her (Einhalt) a question that would help them start their conversation.
"Do you remember the fateful evening when we first met, Einhalt?" casually asked Ave, as he smiled at his beloved younger companion, Einhalt as well, in return. "Uhm, I do remember that day vividly, Ave-san. Since it was the day when I foolishly challenge you in street fight and got injured in the process…" replied Einhalt while bashfully smiling at him as well, at the same time. "Well, you did beat me quite badly before accidentally broke the present that I bought for Hayate-san's birthday as well, in the process. Nevertheless, it still is fun and thrilling to fight you on that fateful evening, Einhalt…" acknowledged Ave in his respond towards Einhalt's reply just now. Ave in the meantime also decided to playfully mention his early birthday present for Hayate, a certain pretty feather-shaped silver locket that Einhalt by accident broke during their heated duel on that fateful evening.
"Augh! Please forget that embarrassing incident, Ave-san. Even until now, I still feel guilty for accidentally break that silver locket with my Dankū Ken…" meekly protested Einhalt while blushing in embarrassment. "A, ha, ha, ha! It really is okay, Einhalt. Since I still somehow manage to find an exact replacement for that broken silver locket in the end…" reassured Ave before smiling towards his beloved younger companion, Einhalt Stratos as well, in return. "Still, I couldn't help myself from feeling bad about it. Especially after you also bought me this silver pendant as well on that day, Ave-san…" once again replied Einhalt while showing him (Ave) the aforementioned silver pendant that she always kept close to her all the time.
"I believe silver pendant would suit you the best, Einhalt. Since it is a perfect match to your school uniform and Barrier Jacket as well…" explained Ave back in his respond towards Einhalt's reply just now. In his explanation, Ave also mentioned that Einhalt's school uniform and Barrier Jacket has always been perfectly matched with the said silver pendant that he bought her to commemorate their first meeting and friendship. "I do love it, Ave-san. Especially when it always reminded me of our fateful encounter and first date…" replied Einhalt before smiling at her beloved Ave-san as well, in return. "A, ha, ha, ha. It was actually an interesting first date we have back then. I remember very well when you were somehow able to drop your blueberries crepe even when holding it firmly, Einhalt…" teased Ave, as he reminded Einhalt of her clumsy antics around him during their first date.
"I-I was very nervous back then, Ave-san. Since I never went for a date with someone before…" protested Einhalt while blushing in embarrassment as well, at the same time. Ave in the meantime was only playfully letting a small chuckle out before continuing his story afterwards. "It was still a wonderful first date, Einhalt. Since we are basically spend the entire Sunday to know each other better after all…" added Ave, as he smiled at her as well, in return. "It actually is also help me to loosen up a little and experience some new things, Ave-san. Especially when I usually just spend most of my entire weeks with training, sparring and brawling back then…" acknowledged Einhalt back in her reply towards Ave's statement just now.
"How about our date today? Did you enjoy it, Einhalt?" asked Ave while staring back at her beautiful mismatched purple and blue eyes at the same time. "Certainly, Ave-san. Since I am very happy to be here with you…" affirmatively answered Einhalt, as she was also smiling at him as well, in return. "Likewise, Einhalt. I also am very happy to have you accompany me in this holiday. By the way, shall we try to get some sleep now? Or are you still not yet sleepy?" replied Ave before asking Einhalt on whether she still wished to chat for a little more or call it a night. "It actually is wiser for us to get some sleep now, Ave-san. Since we plan to wake up early tomorrow after all…" answered Einhalt back, as she decided to remind Ave of their morning training routine afterwards.
"That is true, Einhalt. Would you mind to switch off the light?" responded Ave back before asking Einhalt to switch her light off. "Sure! Uhm, good night Ave-san…" replied Einhalt while smiling, as she switched her light off. "Good night and have a nice dream, Einhalt…" responded Ave as he pulled his blanket and almost immediately drifted into his blissful sleep afterwards. Einhalt on the other hand briefly glanced at her beloved Ave-san before smiling at him. "Have a nice dream as well, Ave-san. May the favourable blessed wind protect and guide you forever…" muttered Einhalt before she also slowly drifted into her blissful sleep shortly afterwards.
ACT 6
"We're here, Einhalt. So, what do you think?" asked Ave while proudly showing his beloved younger companion, the young Hegemon-girl Einhalt Stratos beautiful scenery on top of a certain famous cape in which also happen to be United States of Japan's northernmost point. "It truly is breathtaking Ave-san. I never thought that I would see such a beautiful twilight dawn like this here in Wakkanai…" acknowledged Einhalt, as she also smiled at him. While standing next to its monument, Ave decided to ask her another question while smiling. "More beautiful than southern hemisphere's dusk? I know you love that beautiful evening sky very much, Einhalt…" casually asked Ave while mentioning the southern hemisphere's evening sunset that Einhalt and Vivio happen to love.
"Uhm, both are beautiful in each of their own way, Ave-san. I'm sure Vivio-san would also love this beautiful picturesque view as well…" politely replied Einhalt back before once again smiling at him. "I'm glad that you like it. Since I always hope to bring you here one day…" responded Ave back, as Einhalt in return was only blushing slightly when she heard that. "Thanks, Ave-san. For showing me this…" thanked Einhalt back before turning her head towards him not long afterwards. "Yes?" asked Ave, as he noticed on how Einhalt has been staring at him intently. "Actually, I want to tell you something…" stated Einhalt while mustering her courage. "I already know, Einhalt. Although, it isn't something that I deserve…" dejectedly replied Ave, as he gently smiled back at her.
"Why do you think that way, Ave-san? Commander Yagami, Eins-san, Vivio-san and I believe that you deserve it more than anyone else. Especially after knowing that you have done so much for us, as well as everyone's sake without asking anything back in return…" argued Einhalt back before challenging Ave's reply with another question and argument as well, afterwards. "It probably is because of how I love and care so much about you, as well as everyone else, Einhalt. Since I wish not to take advantage for the trust and love that you have towards me using a certain Old Belka's tradition as an excuse…" calmly replied Ave back, as he inhaled deeply while mentioning about how he shouldn't even use an Old Belka's tradition solely to justify his own selfish desire. Nevertheless, Einhalt seems to think otherwise and decided to reprimand him back.
"Please, Ave-san, no one would ever think that you take an advantage on any of us just for being honest with your own feeling. I know it might sound strange but you shouldn't force such high expectation upon yourself, Ave-san. You like the rest of us have a desire, a selfish desire to love and be loved back. It absolutely is normal to act that way…" reprimanded Einhalt while still intently staring at her beloved Ave-san. "You're right, Einhalt. Perhaps I should try to move on and be honest towards my own feeling…" muttered Ave back before sheepishly grinning towards his beloved younger companion, Einhalt Stratos as well, in return. "You should, Ave-san. Since that's the only way for you to be happy…" replied Einhalt, as she once again smiled at him. "A, ha, ha, ha. Thanks for reminding me that, Einhalt. It certainly is lift most of my burden away somehow…" thanked Ave while smiled relaxingly at her as well, shortly afterwards.
"You're welcome, Ave-san. So, could I also become your girlfriend like commander Yagami and Eins-san?" asked Einhalt hopefully. "For now, I wish to wait and carefully think about it, Einhalt. Hopefully you also don't mind to wait until I'm ready to answer your feeling…" answered Ave, as he and Einhalt chuckled. "I will wait until you are ready, Ave-san. Since I like you as much as how commander Yagami, Eins-san and Vivio-san like you as well. Unless you change your mind, let me have and cherish this feeling until then…" affirmatively replied Einhalt while declaring her true feeling towards him as well, in return. Sighed in both relieve and defeat, Ave looked back at Einhalt's beautiful mismatched purple and blue eyes before responding back at her. "Alright, if this feeling of mine and yours hasn't change in probably five years time, I will take you as my girlfriend…no…a girl that I marry as well, Einhalt Stratos. That is my promise and hopefully you are okay to wait until then…" promised Ave while responding back at her (Einhalt's) declaration as well, in return.
"Deal. A, ha, ha, ha. It actually is funny that my crush has told me to wait and yet, he also gave me a contractual proposal of sorts…" replied Einhalt back before letting out a small chuckle as well, shortly afterwards. "I know, even I'm astounded at what I have just said to you. Anyway, do you want to grab some breakfast on the way back?" asked Ave after responding back at Einhalt's reply just now. "Sure, please lead the way, Ave-san. Since I also started to feel hungry as well…" answered Einhalt back, as she once again smiled while grabbing onto Ave's arm. "How about MOS Burger? I saw one on the way here before…" suggested Ave, as Einhalt once again smiled while happily nodding at him as well, at the same time. As they walked towards the aforementioned MOS Burger joint, Ave decided to ask Einhalt a question.
"So, Einhalt, did you enjoy this holiday so far?" asked Ave while grinning at her as well, simultaneously. "So far, I truly do enjoy it, Ave-san. Since it allow me to vividly see the colour of this world's sky and the world itself. At the same time, it also helps me to get closer and know you better…" replied Einhalt before bashfully smiling at him as well, in return. "I also am grateful to have you here with me, Einhalt. Or else, I would be spending this holiday alone by myself…" acknowledged Ave while responding back at Einhalt's reply just now. "Likewise, Ave-san. Therefore, even if I most likely would still be causing you a lot of trouble in the future, please take a good care of me…" replied Einhalt before she decided to give Ave the most beautiful, gentle and sincere smile of hers. "I will, Einhalt. In return, please take a good care of me as well…" responded Ave, as he also decided to give Einhalt the gentle Takamachi-style smile of his as well, in return. It was when both Ave and Einhalt let a small chuckle out to one another before entering the aforementioned MOS Burger joint afterwards.
While waiting for Ave to return from ordering their meal, Einhalt finally realize that they both sometimes have their own worries and doubt. Nevertheless, they decided to keep on heading toward the future with smile on their face and hope in their heart. Despite any challenges and hardships that they would be facing, Einhalt and Ave have decided to confront them head-on. Since only by doing so that they both could learn to know each other better while continue to walk in this cherished vivid present together.
