Chapter 55: he appears

Arceus glared to Saturn before stepping down the staircase, each step had a strange echo to it, and we could feel the weight to every step Arceus did. Panicked, Saturn stumbled and fell back as Arceus approached closer. The glares became more intense the longer Arceus stared at Saturn and turned his attention to the orbs that aided in his summon. The Griseous Orb levitated and flew slowly to Arceus. It was as if Arceus was inspecting the item and it started to glow prominently. The magic circle changed from the basic one that was originally formed and became more intricate with pokemon symbols around 3 large circles with the colour of the lines changing from white to black.
The centre of the circle filled with black colouring and moved like the black was alive and water like. It all swirled and sank in the centre. Arceus had opened a portal and if I had to guess, it led to exactly to where Saturn wanted most. He was getting his wish full filled and the portal to the distorted world. Lace ran up to the edge and looked into the swirling, dark abyss. She muttered under her breath "finally" as her suspicions were recognised and coming into fruition. From deep in the pitch black, it morphs and becomes wing like and it comes closer to the surface. Lace's eyes welled up as the figure in the portal emerged and the figure revealed was Giratina. Joy was showing on Lace's face upon seeing Giratina for the first time in many years and she reached out, resting her hand on their head saying "it's been too long but I can finally keep the promise that I made to you" Saturns rage grew and looked into the portal shouting "where is he then!? Where is master Cyrus!?"
Arceus remained quiet and stared to Saturn. He looked into pitch black and within the darkness, there seems to be someone standing on one of the platforms. Saturn looked enthusiastic seeing the supposed Cyrus however, his hopes were brought into reality when the person standing floated into pieces. The sight of Cyrus's body pieces floating around in the distorted world was more than Saturn can handle and his shock was so deep that neither movement nor sound came from him. The eeveelutions stayed close to the trainers they came with and the Shaymin that came along too were bearing witness to the events occurring.
Lace walked to the Giratina and held her arms out as the pokemon leaned its head and embraced a gentle hug from her. She held an ultrapoke and held it toward Giratina saying "I don't want to lose you again, and I want to be the place that you call home. Come with me on my adventures and see the world you've missed out on" she smiled warmly, joyous as she kept her promise. The Giratina let off one of its soft cries and entered the pokeball. It shook three times before the click sound occurred, signalling a successful capture and with a smile on her face, held the pokeball to her chest knowing that Giratina will never be alone again.
The portal to the distorted world closed and the remains was left to Saturn. I could tell that even as a human, Arceus wanted this man to have the proper burial he should receive. Even a god can be one whose word resonates kindness and gentle acts in many ways. Nei walked to me and said "I got word from the gym leaders, they'll be ready to arrest Team Galactic any time now" those words sounded hollow with what just happened but they did criminal acts and needed to face the extent of the laws.
Arceus turned and walked back up the staircase. With this, they turned and faced us. Using telekinesis, they spoke "you have brought balance back to what was distorted and peace once again rains over the region" we were in shock that we were speaking to the literal god. They continued "as such you will be granted a wish each among you all for a total of four wishes. Who among you will be the first to make the wish?" with such an offer for all of us we had to think hard. Before we could make a wish, Tank tripped and fell up the stairs. Nei laughed and said "only you would trip upstairs" tank just chuckled and replied "well keep watching, only you'll see any guy fall for you" she pouted and both glared before laughing at each other. Friendship at its core is about what I just saw and more.
With everything said, Arceus touched the pokedex's before turning into a brilliant white light and shot fast and far across the skies. The staircase vanished and the pokemon, the titans and lake spirits were set free from their cage. The lake spirits flew to Nei and held them in an embrace. They seemed happy to return to her, despite not knowing her long and all 3 asked "can we join you?" all 3 lake spirits wanted to see the world with her and she agreed. Things were going far better than me or tank originally thought. I held Saturn, who held the remains and took him down the mountain with everyone else close behind. Tank was planning to continue his adventure in this region, as was I and Lace was going with him. Nei's only reason was to solve the problem, now she'll head back ad continue her amazing work for the pokemon centres around the world.
With the pokemon police, aided by the pokemon league and the gym leaders, Team Galactic was arrested and sent away to a prison where they can cause no harm. Saturn was put into prison after the burial of Cyrus, buried at the Team Galactic HQ in Veilstone City.
As for myself, the pokedex wasn't showing were Arceus went, as I expect from legendries and I looked to the sky wondering what Arceus was up to after all of this happened and if I'll ever see them again.
