The first day of work was the only day he could go home just in time.

Everyday his task piled up faster than his ability to finished them.

Faster Percy finished them, faster too the new task delivered. He even barely have his quick lunch in the departement's pantry without a proper day break.

And later day he knows the reason because some staffs are retrieved to help the Department of Magical Games and Sports arranging the Quiditch World Cup.

Percy giving his apparition course fee saving to Dad so he could buy them all the tickets, and apparantly Dad and Percy got on duty free ticket, means they will attend the game as a stand guard back ups.

Percy oftently lost of time track because his piled up works, and just realized the time after a paper plane memo from Dad stucking his nose. Sometimes Percy will just really lift his butt off his chair when Dad's note said, 'Get down now or I will pick you.'

Once Dad really appearing to his office, and Barty's quiping him 'Dady's picking his baby.'

Once a while Barty giving hars comments for Dad so Percy feel really embarassed, but also could not deny his mockery.

To prevent another embarassment Percy usually rose from his chair on Dad's first note and bring the work home instead.

Percy oftenly beg Dad to just leaving him behind, but Dad doesnt want to hear him. Dad really likes to walk home with his son and never missed a change to introducing him to his colleagues.

"Hello Paris, you remembered my son? He had graduated! He got 12 perfect NEWTs!"

"Hello Mafalda, he's my son, he got 12 perfect NEWTs, too pitty eh, Barty snatched him first before your departement even got his resume?"

"Hello Dawlish, he's my son, he got 12 perfect NEWTs, I think he will do great at your office, right?"

and so on and so on. If not considered inapproriate, Percy must had lift his robe cap all the way to covering his face or just cast a dissilusion charm.

Mrs. Taylor secretly remind Percy that Barty had lost his own bright proudfulling son, Barty junior was once work for the Ministry before got arrested, so Percy better be carefull not to poking his old wound. Its must really hurt him to see Arthur boasting his son arround while he his self also had a bright son but he will never could boast him arround. As much as Barty's dislikeness to Arthur, he could not deny Percy's quality so he still keep him in his office.

Mrs. Taylor told Percy to bear his nasty comments or if he intentionally called his name wrongly. Barty could not stand to mentioning "Weasley" with his mouth.

Many longer recruited staffs also sometimes fanning Arthur and Barty so Percy really fell clamped in between. Or they just directly quipping Percy with nasty comments.

Mrs. Taylor again remind Percy that is just an ussual office politics and intriques, because how ever, Percy is really stomping many staffs flat.

Mrs. Taylor told him that she her self got her permanent appointment after a year long apprenticement, and just reaching Percy's position after eight years crawling from the floor.

If Percy want to survive, he have to be stoick, brave and sometimes close his consiences. Percy gratefully think, his all seven years interact with Batface seems really usefull.

Aside from his own task, now they start adding his job with the Quiditch World Cup's documents. He usually has to deal with the letters from another than five main world most spoken languages.

He think, after he get work, the siblings will stop bothering him, but he is wrong. They mocking him even worse. Not even bother to let him work in focus, they even distrubing him, and worse, pranking him.

Percy could never understand how is sending dragon dung to his office could possibly funny. He's begging Mrs. Taylor not to tell the Boss, because he know Barty will quipping him more with something like 'do you think its your playground?'

Percy find one way to lessening their verbal mockery is bothering them first. So he pick some boring unimportant letters or documents like the cauldron bottom thickness standart issue and from time to time talk about it all the time before they able start mocking him. At least they now will all scatered away when he is appearing in the dinning table and leaving him alone. Sometimes he's praising Barty to quiping Dad (but its seems Dad not realizing it).
