All the magic creatures had been checked and monitored, even the spinx's import documents all completed from the arrival through the send back journey.
Its all not because Barty finally show up in the office, but because he just send his seal stamp to Percy.
Mrs. Taylor told him, the stamp can not funtioning if Barty not giving his full autorization in the correct addressing, but apparantly after they tested the stamp, its been credentialed correctly to Percy WEASLEY, therefore, Percy got a full autorization to take all his duty on behalf.
So, Percy do what he commanded by the letter, attending meeting and everything.
He just have to send some important documents for consultation, and Barty will send his decision, and Percy should executing it accordingly, including put the autorization stamp, and make a double coppies, one for his own documentation, and one to send back for Barty's documentation. For some small detail like the tournament arrangement, Percy may stamp it rightly without consultation and send the report afterward.
As if his work not hard enough, now a lot of gossip wandering arround.
Mrs. Taylor told Percy to just ignore them, because they are jealous. Barty's stamp credentialisation to Percy may a big clue that if Barty's health totally collapsing, or he's resigning, then Percy will be promoted as his successor. Of course it make a lot of them angry, speculating, and start make counter movement to takle Percy from that post.

Which, its all still Percy who have to prepare all the documents and report, and Fudge's barely giving his stamp.
Percy's running around from the trial, to Barty's office and to the Minister's office. Doing all of Barty's responsibility while preparing his own proof of innocence.
All the instruction he received from Barty and all his well documented response letter and reports neatly arranged and presented on the hearing. Percy proofing that the reason he didnt reporting because Barty command him so. Percy not only documenting the working documents, but he also keep a detailed personal letters from and to Barty.
And as he start feel exhausted to go home, not because the mileage, but more of because Mom's constant wailing, Percy decided to just rent a flat as his money's suficiency.
Apparantly his work business giving him a big benevit, as his wages almost untouched, so he could rent a quiet descent flat. He doesnt tell his parent, because he want it as his own sanctuary away from their nossyness. Mom just know he sometimes stay at Oliver's place or get a stay over duties.
In the worse case if the Ministry kick him out, he will have his own place and some save until he could find another job.
The tournament finally finished, with a terrible accident.

Percy's investigation suspended, and he's sucked with works to clean up the mess in a dream state like works.
He doesnt even get a descent time to mourn , the man he respected and adored.
Percy know, what ever the investigation result, he has to finishing his work as best as he could.
The deceased family had been compensated well and Cedric given a special award.
The deceaseds, Cedric and Barty, get a proper funeral.
All the foreign guesses savely come back to their country.

He is peacefully accepting the investigators who anouncing his dismissal from the Head Departement's junior assistant desk as the investigation result. A lot of satisfied and winning eyes follow his exit from the office that guarded by the investigators. Mrs. Taylor steadfastly hold her tears.
He is taken to the Minister's office. He hand over the Head Departement stamp, his credential and uniform directly to the Minister as the Head Departement's representative.
The Minister office's general secretary come and collect it, and hand over another file to the Minister.
A new credential, ID and uniform presented to Percy.
The Minister just ask him, whether he accept it or not.
Percy got confused for a moment, and the Minister pleased him to check the files.
He will get promoted to the Minister's office. As his undersecretary a.k.a personal asisstant.
Where do he have to step?
Move forward or get stomp, that what Barty teach him.
If you hesitated, you will sacked, pushed aside barely as the office's decoration, like ARTHUR WEASLEY. Like Barty his self.
Daddy could be set asided and stick out with a bare wage, in the reason of LOVE of his job. Barty stuck at better place.
Percy have nowhere to sticking arround, not even come back to his previous post.
Accept or out. And kicked out from the Ministry is not a good resume, no matter how chaotic the office is.
He actually could stick out somewhere in the Ministry and rotten in petty live, like sorting letters in the documents room, or making coffe, for the rest of his live.

The Minister signing his part, and the office's general secretary bring a bottle of champagne in.
He's receiving the Minister's toast. One more from the investigator's chief. One more from the office's general secretary.
And he giving one more to Mrs. Taylor. ('Oh, Percy, you should see those gossipers face hear this!')
And he went home with the rest of the champagne.
