I DON'T OWN FAMILY GUY
Carol had named him Peter junior who was named after the man who had delivered him after an accident with the doctor. They couple had stayed a few days to help carol out for the first week. He had only lived two days before Peter had shaken him to try and stop his crying. Lois was had left the house to get a few things for the house and carol had made the mistake of thinking Peter would be ok with watching his nephew for an hour or two while she took a nap as she was still recovering from having given birth. Carols world changed after that not just from losing her only child not even a week after his birth but also from seeing exactly how her sister and her husband reacted to the murder of the child that had been the only thing that kept her through the hard months after her ex husband had left her. Lois had been shocked and even then it felt a bit off. Even years after the fact she couldn't quite place her finger on why.
Her sister after the fact was back to normal the next day she didn't even reexamine her entire life after the fact which was usually the reaction of most people after a tragedy. Especially considering she had three kids one of which was still in diapers. She did say she had a "discussion" with Peter when they got home but carol knew that was a lie. The only thing the two seemed to have learned from the whole ordeal was that they should have another kid which carol after hearing had to fake a voice that wasn't a screaming mess of emotion to her sister who seemed to have had completely ignored what had happened to her sister instead talking excitedly about how her and Peter where preparing for the event. She had quickly made an excuse to get off the phone and ran to the bathroom to vomit out of sheer disgust and shock. The next hour was spent sobbing and shaking in her bed trying to comprehend what had happened. After a few weeks of complete isolation locked in her house ignoring all calls and any attempt to reach her.
She had sorted out her feelings towards her sister finally concluding that she was a monster something that had been floating around her mind since they were teens and she had gone completely off the rails and had become someone that carol had been terrified of and swore to herself to never become like the more she learned about her. Luckily her mom had quickly realized when the two had turned twelve that Lois would be a handful underestimating what Hell would await her and her husband in the coming years. She was soon packed up to a boarding school in Switzerland her mother hiding the real reason she was sending her away citing the schools top academic programs and it's ranking of being number ten in the country in an already good educational system. She was a bit miffed at first but after receiving a regular stream of updates from her sister about her life she quickly turned grateful that she was far away from her sister. She had concluded long ago that Lois had inherited her fathers sociopathic tendencies although hers had been more intense than his had ever been his was limited to people he had a grudge against and his enemies he managed to keep his demons under check around his family showing them love and affection as well as he was able to. Lois meanwhile had thrown herself into multiple dangerous situations that had threatened her life numerous times always relying on her daddy and his money to bail her out.
The breaking point was after she was kidnapped by her dealer for her repeated shorting him on money when he knew she was rich along with her general chaos and disrespect that bordered on criminal. She called her dad in tears having been positive that he would send for help and have his Princess returned to her castle safe and sound. He was at the end of his rope with her at this point and had let her know he wasn't going to save her with a flat we don't negotiate with terrorists sweetheart and that was that. She escaped somehow no one really wanting to know the details and had moved out the next day everyone who might have cared too burnt out from her constant drama and just felt a sense of relief at having a break from her. It wasn't until she was nineteen that she reappeared still carrying the same edge she had but not being careful to not use it against anyone who could fight back. The servants had a dead look in their eyes for months after she had already moved in with Peter after seeing him rip a check in half in front of her father who was just trying to spare both him and his daughter the pain of being with each other. He knew how Lois was she would easily corrupt him as stupid as he was and she would get bored quickly cheating on him if she married him like she was planning to.
A year later when she was twenty three the two had Meg who they quickly turned into the family punching bag. Carol had long cut her sister out of her life and only saw her niece at holidays and birthdays. She immediately was struck by how sad the poor girl seemed like the light in her soul had been snuffed out long ago and she was only three when Carol first met her at a Christmas party at her parents house having missed the last couple because of her schoolwork and busy schedule. For months after she had thoughts of adopting the girl and raising her away from the poor excuse for parents she was cursed with but no matter what she always was stopped by the memories of how crazy her sister was. She had settled down a bit after getting married but the way she treated her daughter and had corrupted her husband into a more destructive version of her thanks to his mental disability that the two of them would only refer to as retarded not being anymore specific than that. She also remembered how territorial she was if she decided something as hers and would certainly put up a fight for her daughter that she seemed to alternative between treating her with the same level of contempt you would for a murderer or treating her as if she wasn't even there. She had a distinct memory of Peter thinking she was a housecat for some reason.
The only thing she could do for the poor girl was to make it clear she would always be their if she needed help and send money to her parents to at least keep a roof over their heads. She had also asked her sister for her birthday but she had completely forgotten it trying to frame it as a joke and laughing at her own terribleness. She hadn't forgotten her sons birthday it was November 8th burned into her mind as soon as he was born. Luckily her parents had remembered and along with them sent Meg birthday cards every year along with presents every year on march 23rd.
The only contact she had with her sister nowadays was phone calls that consisted of her whining about her family while Carol fought the urge to yell at her. The only connection between the two was strictly genetic as far as Carol was concerned. She had eventually moved back to quahog after becoming married to Adam west who unlike her past husbands actually cared about her and held her whenever thoughts of her sister and niece and nephews overwhelmed her. He didn't care about her previous marriages and her child that had died years ago he just loved her no matter what happened and was always with her on November 8th no matter what was going on at work.
Her life was finally at peace. She had learned to ignore her sister and focus on her own life which was to her perfect. She had a loving husband a job managing one of her fathers companies which she had successfully hidden her connection with to not ruin her relationship with her coworkers. She hadn't had anymore children after her first it was too painful to think about and everyone had understood. She had promised herself though that she would look after her sisters kids if the need ever arose hoping to give them some semblance of a normal life. The death of Peter still haunted her and probably always would but she had made peace with that fact and learned to move on. She had kept the true cause of death a secret both out of grief and shame. The only ones who knew where her sister her brother in law and the coroner who had been a kind old man and had given her a look of sympathy when she had told him what happened only saying that it wasn't her fault and that sometimes the tragedies of life have no answer and that's ok. She had told her parents that it was due to complications from the birth that no one had caught. She would be ok though she wasn't her sister and she had a good life that she was thankful for. It would all be okay.
AUTHORS NOTE this was a surprise I was working on another story of mine and was thinking about how carol had a son that had chuck Cunningham syndrome and never appeared in the series after his birth then a cutaway gag showed Peter and Lois at a gravestone with Peter junior on it obviously meant to be taken as they had a kid that was born before the series the joke being Peter killed a baby ha a dead baby joke that's real funny and not totally messed up and making me question how Peter isn't in jail right now. Also i know that emmition impossible was in season three back in the shows golden years but heres the thing if a show wasnt in it's top form and was a real piece of history like the simpsons or spongebob was in their golden years then the later episodes can impact how you see past ones wondering if the characters you see on the screen now are the true versions and if they where only ever hiding their true selves to trick you into being a lifelong fan merely waiting for the few episodes that feel the same as the past one's even if they only come out rarely and the show only has one good character and that's only because they gave him a sense of morality and his own unique personalty that is carrying the weight of the show on his back cough cough stewie anyway other than this being a way to explain two plot holes it also turned into a carol story who we only got to see when she gave birth to her disappearing son and when she married Adam west other than that she's only been reduced to cameos or jokes about her divorces and is just ignored by everyone I wanted to give her a bit more depth as she's the sister of one of the main characters it's only fair she gets a little of the spotlight so please review if you liked it and thanks for reading this far
