Chapter 16: Splitting up
A/n: I am so sorry that I haven't written in a while. I finished the story on paper a long time ago, but kinda forgot about it. I recently found it again and thought to myself to post the rest of the story. The only thing is that I have to type it out, which takes a while. Something I did notice was that all the chapters are pretty short, which is normal considering this is the second story I ever wrote, so I wasn't very experienced at that point. Anyway, I'll be working on finishing the story. Have fun reading!
Hours after the turtles came back, the lair was clean once again. Well, as clean as a sewer can be that is. Mikey was still sad about the TV, but he knows Donnie is more important. Leo called all of them together and made a suggestion: "We have to divide in two groups. One of us will go with April to get the last ingredient and the others will search for Donnie, starting with his favorite places, like the junkyard and the docks." "I want to search for Donnie" Mikey stated, determined to find his missing brother. "What about you, Raph?" Leo asked. "Dunno. I can't choose." Raph responded numbly. "Then I'll go with Mikey. Make sure you two get the last ingredient." Leo chose. Raph nodded and left the lair. April soon followed.
April and Raph went to the facility at the edge of town. They watched from a distance at the guards. There were two guards at the door and three on the roof. "How do we get in?" April asked. "You distract the two guards at the door. I'll get the ones on the roof so you can get rid of the ones at the door." Raph formulated. "Okay" April agreed and she went down the fire escape. She walked to the door and asked: "Can you help me? I'm lost." The guards were trying to help her and Raph jumped on the roof and beat the guards quite easily. He signaled April who took out the last guards and they went inside.
Meanwhile Leo and Mikey have been to the junkyard and were headed to the docks, when Raph called them. "We've got it", he said, "Have you found Donnie?" "No, not yet. Maybe you and April can search the sewers. We don't know if he even made it to the surface" Leo suggested. "Sure thing. Regroup in the lair at six?" "Okay. Good luck!" "You too."
A/n: So sad for Donnie, everyone is looking for him and he is missing.
