Dear readers,
Hello! We hope some of you are still with us! No, this is not a dream, we really are updating you all on the status of this novel. We know that the last update from being 2016 may have given some of you the wrong idea about this project. You may think that it was abandoned long ago, however, that's far from true. Since 2016, we have been working on both Withering Ice and its sequel (because surprise: it's a trilogy!).
Thing is, we both changed computers a few times since then and a lot of the archive files have been scattered, which made the process of stitching the story back together a bit tedious. While the current situation of the world has been forcing us into quarantine, it also has gifted us some time to clean up our files and start plunging ourselves fully in this universe again!
That being said, since so much time has passed and our abilities as writers have grown, we are also working on a remastered version of Artemis Fowl and the Games of Hunger with some grammar fixes and a new book-like formatting with Gnommish messages at the bottom of the pages.
Furthermore, with Eoin Colfer's new Fowl Twin novels and Suzanne Collins' The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (a Hunger Games prequel set to come out in May), we have and will have a lot of new lore to play with, which is honestly very thrilling!
We can't wait to share our hard work with all of you, and perhaps to a new generation of Fowl fans, but we really want to do this right, so we humbly ask for your patience and thank you for your support!
We don't know if the new version of the story will be posted on this platform, but we will keep everyone updated when it will be ready.
