Charlie has been sitting in his office for 2 hours trying to grade mid-terms and was starting to see doubles 'Man I'm so tired' Carlie thought. 'I could use some coffee.' As he was getting up to do just that his cell phone rang. Charlie sighed and answered the phone as he sat back down. "This is Charlie Eppes." When he heard a voice that he hasn't heard in 3 years. "Charlie it's nice to hear your voice." she said. "Susan it's nice to hear from you it's been a while. How have you been?" Charlie said excitedly. "Not so good. Can you come to England please. There is something very important that I need to talk to you about." Susan asked quietly. Charlie got concerned and asked "What's wrong? Are you okay Susan?" Susan sighed and said "I'll tell you when you get here. Can you get here as soon as possible?" Charlie told her "I'll be there tomorrow." Susan said "Okay, see you soon." Then she hung up. Charlie sat at his desk for a while thinking about the conversation he just had. 'I hope everything is okay.' As he got up from his desk he called the airport to get the next earliest flight out to England. He went to his car to go home to pack for his trip.
He got in his car and started driving home as he was driving he decided to call Amita. When he called her he told her what happened and she sounded mad at his decision when she said "Go, it's not like you care about what this looks like. She probably is trying to get back together so it's obvious about what you think." Then she hung up on him. By the time she hung up he had made it home. He sat in his car and thought. 'Amita sounded very angry. I hope she forgives me.' He got out of his car and went inside a d went straight upstairs to start packing. As he was doing this Don came over and hollered "Hey anybody home." Charlie didn't hear him and continued packing. Don came up the stairs saw him packing and said "What are doing?"
