A/N: This story takes place when Ardyn was already the ruler of Lucis than his brother Somnus. Aera never betrayed Ardyn and the Starscourge never existed. This is for people who wants a happy ending for Noctis and Luna where they Live as wise rulers of the Country Lucis. And Lunafreya's age is a year younger than Noctis
Lunafreya's POV
My story started out when I was a child, my brother and I were playing in the sylleblossom gardens of Tenebrae like every other day, until a man who was carrying a boy who seems to be his son approached mother. Mother told us to come close and I never got to see the boy's face at first because his face was hidden under the man's chest. Mother asked what is the business of the King of Lucis in Tenebrae. I was shocked that mother called the man King of Lucis but I kept my mouth shut and hid behind mother's skirt. They continued to have a chat up until the boy started to stir. I saw a bit of his face and I blushed as I though to myself he is quite cute for someone his age. Unfortunately for me mother and the King caught me staring at the boy and she told me to introduce myself to the King and his still sleeping son.
King Regis CXIII's POV
It took hours of waiting but finally I am here in Tenebrae. Most of the citizens noticed that I was in the land and caused a bit of commotion. Thankfully Cor and Clarus were able to defend me and Noctis from the paparazzi crowding up on us. After that little incident we, headed for the palace of Tenebrae, Cor asked the maids on the whereabouts of Queen Sylva Via Fleuret they swiftly answered with respect that she is in the gardens watching her children play. They asked if we would like some refreshments while we wait for her to return but out of instinct I got up and carried the now asleep Noctis with me and went of to find Queen Sylva.
Once I found her I saw her gather her children an older boy and a younger girl. The girl was curious on who I was and most especially on who I was carrying. I greeted the queen and asked if me, my son and my retinue could stay for a while in Tenebrae up until Noctis recovers. She agreed, we then had a long chat. As we were talking I observed that the little girl who was hiding behind her mother's skirt was looking at my son with curious little eyes. As we were speaking Noctis started to stir but didn't wake up, the little girl finally caught a glimpse of my son's face and wore a huge blush on her face. Her mother caught my eye and looked at her daughter who was blushing and asked her to introduce herself.
3rd Person POV
Luna started to speak, "Good Day Your Highness, my name is Princess Lunafreya Nox Fleuret" she curtsied. King Regis already liked the attitude of the younger Fleuret but he waited for what the elder has to offer.
Ravus started to bow and spoke politely "Good Day Your Majesty, I am Prince Ravus Nox Fleuret" the King was also pleased with the prince's greetings. He then turned back to the Queen and asked "You still haven't answered my question your Majesty, where will we be staying for the time being?". The Queen said to him in reply "Regis, no need for formalities as Queen of Tenebrae it is my sole duty to help the King of Lucis, and besides she leans and whispers I think my daughter is already having a crush on your son". The King smiled and looked at his son then turned his attention back to the Queen. "About where you will stay, there are a lot of rooms available but I have a room special only for you, the prince and your retinue". She then called out her servants to show the King their place of rest. While they were at their chambers, the Queen went to her children and told them to behave properly around the King. When Ravus left to take a shower she went to Lunafreya and she told her that she will be the one to watch over Noctis while he was still recovering.
Lunafreya's POV
I blushed when mother told me that I were to watch Noctis. I tried to hide my red face but mother saw it but didn't say a word. She knew that I didn't like any of my admirers here in Tenebrae and was trying to look for a suitable man for me when I grow up. She told me now that I am almost 13 years of age I must look for someone who I can stand by and live a long life with. I never thought of anyone to be my future husband and I always thought I won't even have a boyfriend, but just looking at Noctis now really makes me have happy feelings. If he really is the man I am going to marry in the near future, I have to see his true intentions first. But for the mean time, taking care of him is my first priority.
Timeskip: Dinner time in The Palace of Tenebrae
Lunafreya's POV
Mom and the King were talking for a while now, they seem to be having a conversation on who gets to look out for Noctis. King Regis saying he doesn't want to be a nuisance to us because we already did so much for them, but mom quipped back that its would be much better for Noctis to be treated by someone of his age so he can share his experiences to. They continued on and on until Ravus fell asleep on the chair in the dining room due to sheer boredom. I on the other hand was trying to think of a way on how to greet Noctis if he ever wakes up from is sleep, but I think I am trying to hard.
After a while of their chat my mom obviously convinced the King to make me as the guardian and watcher of his beloved Noctis... Not like I am mad or anything, I am actually glad he is doing this. Suddenly my train of thought vanished when the King cleared his throat and was staring at me. I didn't hear what he said but I can tell I missed something important. I blushed and I politely said that I wasn't paying attention, that made the King repeat himself and this time I paid full attention so I won't get to the King's bad side. He told me a lot on the do's and don'ts that Noctis can do while he is recovering. After that we had dinner and I quickly excused myself to go to the room of Noctis, mother and the King agreed saying its best if someone was waiting for him when he wakes up.
After sometime of waiting in Noctis' room, a cough finally emerged from the said boy who was slowly drifting back to reality. The blonde girl who was waiting noticed the cough and started to move towards the boy up until she was looking at him face to face.
Noctis' POV
I woke up to see a pair of beautiful eyes that I could get lost to. I looked and saw a cute girl in front of me smiling.
The girl quickly stood up and introduced herself. She told me her name was Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, Princess of Tenebrae but she told me to call her Luna. If it weren't for my injury, I would've bowed to her the way she was bowing to me. She also said she will be the one to guard me and attend to my needs for the time being. She asked me if I wanted a tour around Castle Tenebrae, I accepted but since I couldn't walk I had to stay in a wheelchair. But when one of Luna's servants asked to push the wheelchair Luna quickly declined and said that she can do it herself.
After some time of the tour
Noctis fell asleep on the wheelchair while Luna slept next to him. Clearly the latter was exhausted than the former. The servants of Luna moved them to their mistress's room and called the King and Queen. Luna laid on the bed next to Noctis and they snuggled close. Since they were still kids, Noctis aging 12 and Luna a year younger than him. It was still a look of pure innocence. Children lying together regardless of gender, really is a priceless scene. When the King arrived he couldn't help but smile due to the sheer closeness of them even if they met on the first day. Not willing to let go of the moment of them snuggling, King Regis took out his phone and took a picture of them... A picture that marked a huge change in both the world of Noctis and Luna.
