Home, the long way around

Maddison is walking around into a new town named Leadworth as she was away from her old home. After she knew that she was adopted. She just packed her suitcase and left a note as she ran away to a new town. Then on that day she met the Doctor, Amy and Rory. Of course with aliens and saving the world. Then 2 years later He's back and she agreed to go with him as well as Amy.

9. Interlude 2

"Well, the others are in their room, snogging." Maddison comment, then she looked at the Doctor. "What are we going to do? Wait for them to finish?"

"No." The Doctor shook with his head. "I'm going to show you something."

"What are you going to show me?" Maddison asked curious.

The Doctor smiled at her. "Follow me."

When they arrived by the library, Maddison asked to him confused. "What are we doing here?"

"You will see." The Doctor comment as then they walked into the library. The Doctor walked straight for a thick book that stood in the corner as Maddison followed him.

Then she looked at the book which stood up 'the history of the Time War.' "This is what you wanted to show me?" She asked to him.

"Yes." The Doctor nodded to her.

"So, this is what happened in the Time War?" Maddison asked to him.

"Yes, do you want to read it?" The Doctor asked to her.

"Yeah." Maddison nodded then she asked to him, looking hopeful. "Can I bring this into my room?"

The Doctor hesitated a bit as then he nodded to her. "Yes, you can bring it to your room."

Maddison nodded happily as then she serious. "The Dream Lord said something about you…" she trailed off.

"What did he say?" The Doctor asked curious.

"He said almost your name." Maddison replied to him. "But I stopped him, before he could say any further. And I know we are not couple yet and I don't know when you would say your name and I respect that." Then she looked at him. "Because you are afraid of it, please, don't live in the past."

"I only told my name to my wife on Gallifrey in my arranged marriage." The Doctor looked at her. "And I don't want to be afraid but when something happens, it's my fault I put them in danger or some people who are put in danger, died."

"You feel guilty about it." Maddison told him. "Don't feel guilty if it isn't your fault, they choose their own path, not you." She pointed at him. "Even I choose my own path and that is with you, Doctor." Then she looked at him. "Why don't you give it a shot?"

The Doctor sighed heavily. "If we are going to do this, let's do it properly."

"What do you mean?" Maddison asked to him, confused.

"Well, I meant is that I will learn you how to drive the TARDIS and that I'm going to tell you some stories about the Time Lords before the war begun and what is meant to be a Time Lord." The Doctor replied to her. "Just everything that has to do with the Time Lords."

"Okay." Maddison nodded to him. "Then you can begin with, what are the other Time Lords like? When they had found their soulmates?"

Then the Doctor nodded to her and him begun to tell her about it.

Later, when the Doctor was done with the telling about soulmates and Time Lords, Maddison retreated to her room in the TARDIS. She laid down the history of the Time War book on the table, by the drawing stuff, in her room as she stared at it, then she thought. 'I should get a shower.' She shrugged as she walked to the shower and turned it on.

10 minutes later, she was done with the shower and changed her clothes into black jeans, blue shirt, black boots and a black jacket. Then she walked towards her table that was laying with the book and her drawing stuff, she grabbed her drawing stuff and walked to her bed. Then she begun with a drawing as then was a knock on her door. "Come on." She called.

Then the door opened to reveal the Doctor standing there as he looked at her. "Hey."

"Hi." Maddison greeted back.

Then he looked at her drawing. "What are you making?"

"A drawing, Doctor." Maddison smiled at him.

"What are you drawing, then?" The Doctor asked curious.

Maddison smiled at him. "You will see it, when it is done."

The Doctor pouted at her. "Okay." Then he had at though and spoke it out loud. "How about I give you a lesson on how to drive the TARDIS."

"Okay." Maddison nodded to him as then she stood up, leaving her drawing stuff on her bed. "I would like that."

"Follow me." The Doctor smiled at her.

Then they walked out of her room and walked to the console room.

When they arrived by the console room, the Doctor immediately explained it to her, on how to drive the TARDIS. Not much later, he was done as then Amy and Rory walked into the console room. "Are you two done with snogging?" The Doctor asked a little rudely, Maddison whacked him in the chest.

"Be nice." She told him as then she looked at them. "So, what are we going to do now?"

"It's Amy choice, remember." Rory remembered them.

"Yeah." Maddison nodded to him.

Then Amy asked to her and the Doctor. "And what did the two of you do?"

"He taught me how to drive the TARDIS." Maddison grinned at her.

"I taught you only one lesson." The Doctor comment to her.

"Yeah, I know." Maddison told him.

Amy looked at them. "Did you two snog yet?"

Both of them went red as Maddison answered. "No."

Then the Doctor repeated her. "No, No, Amy."

"So, not yet boyfriend and girlfriend?" Amy asked curious.

They went uncomfortably as Rory noticed that. "Amy that's enough with the questions."

"Okay." Amy huffed.

Then Rory asked to her. "Have you thought about where you wanted to go?"

"Yeah." Amy nodded to him. "I want to go to Rio."

The Doctor looked at her. "Well, then Rio it is." Then he looked at Maddison. "Want to help me?"

"Yeah." Maddison replied to him.

Then they worked on console as Amy and Rory watched them switching levers and punching buttons. Then the Doctor pulled the last lever. "Off we go." He told them.

Then the TARDIS headed them to another adventure.
