Luke was in the kitchen, he was very happy since Logan let him keep 100,000 for his troubles. He was now singing a parody of Lady Gaga's born this way while preparing his morning coffee.

Luke stops singing and checks his phone, Laurie was calling him, it had been a few days since they last talked, "Hey Laurie, how is my favorite blue girl doing?" he answers the phone

"Hey, Luke…" She said, clearly something was troubling her,

"Is everything alright?" Luke said as he added milk to his coffee

"It's- It's Kenji, he attacked Utopia," Laurie said

"What?! How?" Luke all but exclaimed

"Apparently, his powers allow him to control others, he used it to try to kill Hope,"

"And then what happened," he asked, he was more worried about Kenji then Hope

"We managed to break out of his control in time, and stopped him, but- but Kenji is dead," Laurie said

Luke dropped the coffee mug "Did Hope- Did HOPE kill him?!" he screamed,

"No, it was Martha," Laurie revealed.

"No-Girl[1]?" Luke asked. He had trouble believing a brain in a jar could / would kill Kenji.

"Yes… after you left, Kenji approached Martha and used her insecurities to gain her trust. He then used her gifts against us. When she learned the truth she killed him,"

"Dammit! Laurie, how are you holding up? And what are you going to do now?"

"I'm doing fine… And… We all talked with Hope, she promised to be better, to not treat us like weapons anymore, and we all decided to give her one more chance"

"Are you sure YOU decided? She could be controlling you," Luke said

"I don't think-"

"Laurie, listen to me, I think you should leave. While Teon and Gabriel are both lost causes, you aren't. I shouldn't have left you nor Kenji with her in the first place, I saw her weak side and thought she was changing, but apparently she wasn't," Luke said as he holds his head in shame "I still haven't found a way to break the psychic bond, (without killing Hope or the Lights), but one of the smartest men out there and one of the most powerful telepath are currently working on it. So please, come with me until they find a solution,"

"I'm sorry Luke, I understand what you are saying, but I want to stay and help the newly emerging mutants, it is the right thing to do," she said

"I see… When will Kenji's eulogy be?" Luke

"His body was mostly destroyed, we already buried his remains," she said, "There won't be a eulogy."

"I- I see… I'll call you later…" Luke said as he closed the phone, not waiting for her reply,

Luke then walked towards Idie's room and knocked on the door "Idie you up?"

She opens the door, still wearing her pajamas, "*Yawn* Good morning Luke,"

"Morning Idie, there is something I need to-"

"Kenji is dead," Idie said it for him

"You knew?" Luke asks in surprise

"Yes, I felt it last night… he is the first one to go," she muttered the second part

"Go where?" Luke asks once more

"To where all monsters go, Hell," she said,

"Idie… we are not monsters, we are just gifted people,"

"But we are monsters," she insisted

"No Idie, we are not," Luke said as he walked away, he couldn't deal with this side of Idie today,

He went to the bathroom to wash his face, in there he saw Glob Herman[2] giving Broo a swirlie. In his anger, he slams Glob to the wall "Broo are you alright,"

"Yes my good friend Luke, our school chum Glob was just helping me with Earth's traditional toilet-face bath," Broo said after catching his breath.

"You don't say," Luke said as he glared at the pink glob "Broo why don't you go ahead, prepare for Mr. Logan's class, I will catch up after helping Glob with his traditional toilet-face bath,"

"Alright friend Luke, I'll save you a seat," Broo said as he left, as soon as he did Luke looked murderous.

"Wha-what are you gonna do to me?" Glob asked in fear

"Oh nothing much," he lifted Glob with his powers and stick his head into the toilet. "Danger Room Tests are waaay too easy," Luke said out loud

"Danger Room Test Initiated" And in that instant machine guns started firing at his forcefields and the toilet caught on fire, burning Glob's face, which then burned his entire body due to its wax-like physiology,

Luke then started slamming Glob into machine guns in the bathroom, by the time the test was over, Glob was seriously injured and crying.

Luke then walked next to the broken form of Glob "If you ever mess with Broo or any of my friends ever again, I won't be this merciful, Capiche?"

Glob could only nod in fear,

Luke then walked out of the bathroom and saw Husk "Ms. Guthrie, a danger room practice went wrong, Glob is slightly injured, he is in the boys' bathroom in the 2nd floor,"

As soon as Luke said that he left, and made his way to Headmistresses Office *knock*knock*

"Come in," Kitty said

"Ms. Pryde, hello," Luke said

"Hey Luke, how can I help you?" she asks, clearly seeing a mixture of anger and sorrow in his eyes.

"I need a day off to say my goodbyes to a friend,"

There was a moment of silence "I understand, take all the time you need," she said

"Thank you, Ms. Pryde," Luke said as he went to his room, he changed into a black suit and then left the premises of the mansion.

He then flew towards Utopia,

-Scene Change: X-Mansion Infirmary-

Kitty, Paige, and Rachel were standing next to the unconscious body of Glob, Hank McCoy managed to stabilize his condition before leaving for Space Station.

"Rachel, can you tell us what happened?" Kitty asks

"It was Luke… he found Glob bullying Broo and then triggered a Danger Room test with the sole purpose of hurting Glob." Rachel said, shocking everyone in the room.

-2 Hours Later, Scene Change: Utopia Graveyard-

Luke was standing in front of Kenji's grave, not saying a single word, Laurie was also standing next to him.

They just stood there, not saying a word to each other, until finally, Luke moved and placed a rose on top of Kenji's grave "I'm sorry Kenji, I should have been there for you,"

Luke then hugged Laurie "Are you sure you want to stay here? I know Ms. Pryde would do a cartwheel if she were to steal her favorite student "

"I'm sure… after all, she is changing for the better,"

"Maybe, but as a leader, she is not someone I would follow to a convenience store, let alone to deadly missions," he said

"Heh maybe you are right, but I still want to help others like us,"

"*sigh* If it is your choice, I have to respect it,- and I really hope it is your choice." he said and then smiled "Regardless, it was nice seeing you again, Laurie,"

"You as well," she hugged him

"I should get going, and Laurie, if you ever need help or want someone to talk with I'm only a phone call away,"

"I know"

Luke then walks to the shores of the island and flew back to the X-Mansion,

-2 Hours Later, Scene Change: X-Mansion-

When Luke walked into the mansion, Wolverine, Shadowcat, and Marvel Girl were waiting for him "Runt, mind telling us what gives you the right to beat up a classmate like that?"

"I don't know what you are talking about?" Luke said with a shrug

"Glob, bathroom, danger room test, ring any bells?" Rachel asks

"Oh I see it now, you got it all wrong, I was helping him with the traditional toilet-face bath when danger room test began, he then started jumping around from machine gun to machine gun, slamming his body against them." Luke said "If that is all I'll be in my room,"

"Are you trying to be funny? We have a telepath here who checked your victim's mind, you have no right to do what you did, even if you are grieving," Kitty said

"First of all, I do expect you to believe it since events like what Glob experienced can lead to the creation of fake memories, false experiences that even a telepath like Rachel can't distinguish, and since there is no solid proof, it's his word against mine. As far as my grieving goes, that is none of your business. So… unless you have anything else to say, I want to go to my bed and get some sleep"

Wolverine ignored Luke's bullshit reasoning "You aren't walking away without at least a slap on the wrist, runt,"

Luke *sighs* understanding they wouldn't let this go "So what is it going to be? Detention with Ms. Pryde? Or is it with Rachel? Or am I going to be the first one to be kicked out of your school? There is a betting pool going on, 92% of the bets say Quire would be the first to be expelled."

Logan just smirked "Oh, you are not being expelled, I got a much better idea,"

-Little Over An Hour Later-

Luke was holding a Boken (Wooden Japanese Sword) and was covered in bruises, his punishment was taking swordsmanship classes from Kitty Pryde, who is a Master Swordswoman that can phase through his attacks.

During this training, he wasn't allowed to use his mutant powers and was getting soundly beaten by her. She moved with extreme grace and struck precisely. While he only knew the basics of how to strike, block, and footwork.

"That is enough for today," Kitty said while thinking 'Can't believe how fun it is beating students with a wooden sword, maybe next time we are punishing Quinten, we can do something like this?' she thought to herself. 'Although I have to admit, Luke's learning rate is terrifying, just an hour and he already grasped the basics down, give it a few months and he might give me a challenge,'

Luke was unaware of what she was thinking but nods his head and goes to his room. He jumps to his bed and falls asleep. He had a really long day.

Characters:

No-Girl [1]: A mutant girl who lost her body, she is a telepathic brain that lives in a jar. She had a brief relationship with Kenji who provided her with a body. Side Note: Since her name is Martha, and she is a telepath, she could probably defeat both Batman and Superman at the same time.

Glob Herman [2]: A mutant with a skin made up of bio-paraffin, or "living wax" leaving his skeleton exposed. He was friends with Kid Omega, but they don't talk much anymore, he is more friendly with Hellion nowadays. He is kinda like a school bully who hangs around more powerful bullies.
