Chapter four
Kakashi had broke free from the genjutsu that Itachi placed, he looked around and saw that he was in a room that had a double decked bed. Everything was moving side to side; he quickly regained his senses and remembered his encounter with Itachi.
He stood up and run out side his room, he noticed that he was on ship and he wondered if Itachi dumped him on this ship and run off with that blonde girl. 'That girl' he thought as he run to the top deck of the boat.
'There's no mistaking it.' He thought.
He had trouble with his sharingan, a few months ago he had some complication with his eye. Tsunade advised him not to use it for the time being since he might strain himself. He wanted to used it to get into girl's mind but he was afraid he might be able to protect her.
When he reached the top deck, he was mortified to see Gai, the green clad jounin was trying to hold himself from throwing up. Behind him was the blonde girl from yesterday she had this disgusted look on her face as she looked at Gai.
The sailors were a bit too off, none of them were aware that they were and they kept moving as if they were being control by something. If Itachi placed a genjutsu on him and guy then he might be behind this also.
He then turned his eyes at the blonde girl.
'Someone is staring at your knockers.' Kyubii snickered.
'Great, now you talk' she told him
'Sorry I was sleeping.' Kyubbii
'Ugh, just go back to sleep and stop bugging you baka.' Naruto.
Kakashi approached the girl, she was taken back by his sudden movement. She wanted to jumped right through the water and swam away from all this chaos.
"Hey." He greeted, trying to sound casual and not scare or tick off the girl.
Naruto didn't respond to his greeting and turned her direction at the sea. He felt a little hurt at her respond to his greeting.
"Kakashi or Gai?" she asked out of the blue.
He was surprised by her sudden question, was she asking who he was? He thought to himself.
"Hatake Kakashi and this fellow is my comrade Maito Gai." He said as he patted his green clad friend on the back. Who was now retching, Naruto looked at Kakashi then at Gai.
"That dude who wore that black cloak told me that you're going to be my body gaurds." She said.
"Itachi?" he asked.
'Why would he say that? Is she working for them? Oh, shit!' he thought.
"I dunno, he never told me his name. All he kept blabbering about is I need to be protected and taken back home." She told him.
She didn't want to tell him about the people after her part since she had her doubts on these two men.
'Does Itachi know something? Is he using this girl to messed my head up?' he thought as he stared at the girl.
"Stop staring at people like that, it's creepy." She spat.
"Sorry, it's just I thought you were someone else, Mima."
"Menma." She lied.
"Right, Menma." He corrected himself.
"This sea sick urk… ness is urk…unyouthful urk.." Gai choked out trying to repress his urge to throw up.
The two just looked at the man with pity this was going to be a long trip.

At the Akatsuki hide out, Amekageru
"Uchiha Itachi and Hoshigaki Kisame had failed to capture the nine tails." A blue haired woman said.
The woman was in the middle of a discussion with two other men, one of them had orange hair and purple eyes he had piercings on his face. The other wore a spiral orange mask that only revealed one eye.
"And the Hachibi?" The man with the masked asked.
"Kumo is alert, and the Hachibi Jinchuriki is aware that were after the biju." The orange-haired man reposnded.
"Not only that Kumo is going to participate in the hunt for the missing Jinchurili of Konoha." Konan added.
"For what purpose is their participation?" the masked man asked.
The information had sparked his interest, he knew that Kumo and Konoha didn't have a good history. One particular incident is the kidnapping of the hyugaa empress. It wouldn't be a shock if Konoha suspects Kumo as the cause for the disappearance of the fourth hokage's child.
"The hachibi Jinchuriki wants an alliance with the remaining Jinchurikis." Pain replied.
"My how heroic of him, but he's running out of time. Sasori and Deidara are on the move to Suna." The masked man said.

The night was silent, and it was full moon. The moonlight illuminated at the calm waters of the sea. Naruto was standing at the top deck, Kakashi took Gai to the lower deck since the bowl cut man passed out.
The sailors were still under the genjutsu, but it made Naruto felt safe. She didn't feel anxious around men, her only problem was that masked ninja. She didn't have to worry about that spandex wearing man since he was too weak with his sea sickness.
Naruto wasn't comfortable with Kakashi, he kept staring at her and she didn't like that. Kyubbii wasn't helping either, though she understood his reasons. She didn't want to get exposed with all the recent fiasco that happened.
She thought about what that man told her, he said that he was supposed to bring her back home. She had a feeling that he was the answer to her questions. She had to find him, but she doesn't even know who he was or even if he was trust worthy. But she has to find out, she was getting nowhere on this ship.
As soon as the ship reaches the ports she'll jumped into the next ship and sail back to Fire country. She had to find that cloaked man, she needed answers and she's not going to din them if she's stuck on this cruise ship.
"Beautiful night, huh?" Kakashi popped out.
She was startled at the man's sudden appearance; she couldn't help but yelp.
"Don't just pop out of nowhere, you scared me." She glared at him.
"Ma, gomen." He said with a goofy tone.
Naruto cringed at his tone; this guy was getting on her nerves.
She stared at the reflection of the moon on the water, this was her first time on sea and she was lucky that she wasn't experiencing sea sickness. Unlike that poor Gai, who had to puke till the trip is over.
"What happens if the ship docks?" Naruto asked.
"Who knows." Kakashi answered.
"You mean you have no plan at all? I mean, we're not going to stay at the island for what knows for long?" she told him.
"We can sail back to fire country, but it seems Itachi had placed a much more complicated genjutsu on these men." He explained.
"Then what are we going to do? Tell bed time stories?" she whined.
This girl really did remind him of his hime, she hates getting bored and demands constant attention. Maybe he could entertain the girl for a bit.
"We could get to know each other." He suggested in a cheery tone.
"We're not nine and are you hitting on me?" she scowled at him.
Kakashi just chuckled at her statement.
"This had crossed my mind, aren't your parents worried about you? "he asked.
Her eyes widened, 'Parents? Worried? I wonder if they are? Since I never saw them.' She thought.
"I don't know." She mumbled.
Kakashi didn't get what she said.
"Huh?" he asked.
"I don't remember my parents." She told him.
Their eyes met and Kakashi could see the sadness in her eyes. Was she an orphan or perhaps have an amnesia?
"You don't remember?" he asked her.
"Sorry, Hatake-san but I need to get some sleep." She turned away from him and begun to walk away.
Kakashi grabbed her wrist, she halted her steps.
"Hatake-san, I had a pretty rough day and I need some rest." She told him.
Kakashi loses his grip on her hand and let her walk away from him. He had no idea why he suddenly had that urge to stop her from avoiding his questions. Like he was desperate enough to know who she is, he had this gut feeling that she was hiding something from him.

Konoha, Hokage's office
"Dismissed." Tsunade ordered team Gai and Shisui.
The four had finished reporting the matter to Tsunade, but she had no intention in letting Shisui go for the moment.
"Uchiha Shisui, stay." She instructed.
Shisui stood on his place while the younger ninja's left the room. As the door closes, Tsunade and Shisui were silent for the moment.
"Is this about the classified mission of Itachi?" he broke the cold silence.
Tsunade nodded in response to his query.
"Jiraiya reported that Itachi had managed to track her down, but he didn't make it on time to retrieve her." She explained.
"Then that girl, the one that team Gai tried to apprehend?" he calculated as he remembered the description given by the younger ninjas.
"She could be the one, Gai and Kakashi haven't returned and I think Itachi might have a plan on this." She said.
"Itachi entrusted them to return her while he tries to divert the organization." Shisui said.
"Should we send a retrieval team to them? Team Kureani is suitable for this situation since most of them are experts in tracking." Shisui suggested.
Shisui was right Kurenai's team had Hyugaa Hinata who has the Byakugan, Inazuka Kiba who can track the scent along with his dog companion Akamaru, and Aburame Shino who can sense chakara thanks to his insects. But they had no team leader who was available to join them.
"But they need a team captain, Kurenai is under maternity leave, Asuma has gone on a mission on the borders of fire country, Shikamaru is still in Suna." She told him.
"I'll do it." Shisui quickly answered.
"What?" she was surprised.
"I know about the classified mission and with my sharingan I can aid them in the hunt." He said.
'True, he has the advantage but I can't let him go on a long mission. Especially on a time like this.' She thought.
Shisui was a double spy of the hokage, he's mission was to keep an eye on the Uchiha clan. There were suspicions that the clan was planning a coupe de tat and Shisui had to monitor if the movement will begin.
The village and council had their suspicion on the clan, after the assassination and the disappearance of Naruto the Uchiha was one of the primary suspects. The other primary suspect was Kumo, since the raikage hated the fourth and they had their eyes on Kyubbii. They tried to kidnap Kushina when she was young and it was no doubt that they'll do it again to the fourth's only child.
"Shisui, your latest report was that Uchiha clan are getting restless. The citizens are having their doubts on the police force, rumors have been spreading that Fugaku was behind assassination. Right now, I need you to stay in Konoha to keep an eye on the Uchiha clan." She said sternly.
"That's the reason why I need to go, Lady hokage time is running out. The clan may start a civil war and Orochimaru is not the only after Naruto. We need to bring her back as soon as possible, Danzo is also on the move." He said.
His last sentence caught her off guard, she knew Danzo was always up to no good. The council were always like that, if Danzo had ordered his own search party before her. Then there's no doubt that time really is running out.
"Very well, I'll summon team Kurenai tomorrow." She said.
"Yes. Lady hokage." He made a short bow and walk away.
But before he reached the door.
"Shisui, You and Itachi are the only Uchiha's that we and Jiaraiya trusted. Make sure that no one else will know about this mission." She said sternly.
"Understood." He said as he opened the door.
