I knew that Jasper was right. We would have to contend with the wolves sooner or later. I did not relish in that fact and I most certainly did not look forward to seeing Jacob Black at all. He had made my Bella miserable in the time that I had been gone. But then again it was ultimately my fault that she was with the mutt at all. If I had not been so stupid I would have stayed and been here to be by her side and shield her from all of these things. Bella looked at me, the crease forming between her eyes.
"If I had to guess I would say that you are thinking that this is all your fault. Am I right? Don't answer that; I know that I am. Stop thinking that. You thought you were doing me a favor and we did not now that we would make ourselves miserable in the process. I forgave you. Now move on. That goes for all of you," Bella demanded.
All nodded in agreement, including myself. I had no desire to insite her ire. All I wanted was to make her happy and if that means raising another man's child, so be it. The best part of the child would be Bella's and because it was hers, I would be happy to assist her in any way she wanted. I would be lying if I said I wasn't actually excited at the prospects. A little tiny Bella to care for. It really did something to me. I just hoped the child would be okay with my family and I since we were mortal enemies after all.
"I think I need to tell him soon," Bella said.
"I can't tell you how it is going to go because I can't see Jacob or any of the other wolves," Alice added.
"Can you see Bella with any of us," Jasper inquired.
Alice got very still, her eyes glazed over as she looked into the future. She let out a gasp and I saw what she did and it was concerning. Alice came out of her vision gasping. Jasper held her close. I tensed immediately from the knowledge.
"It's not going to go well is it," Bella asked.
"No, love, it is not," I replied.
"What do you see?" Carlisle asked.
"If Bella tells him I no longer see her in our future and Edward is not there either. The family breaks completely apart and we are all beside ourselves with grief and anger," Alice explained. "The future, if we continue down this path, is completely bleak."
"So, let's not go that way," Bella said quietly.
"What do you suggest, Bella," Esme asked.
"Yes, love. Tell us your plan," I replied.
"What if we leave here? I mean just pick up and go. I don't tell Jake about the baby and we leave the vampire army for someone else to clean up. If the pack finds out about it, they will be biting at the bit to destroy them. According to them, the only good vampire is a dead vampire."
"Make a decision of where to go," Alice said excitedly.
Bella looked around the room and then looked at me. "Where would you suggest?"
I thought about it and the first thing to come to mind was Isle Esme.
"Yes! That would work! They know nothing about it and we could get away with it. We need to get to the jet. It's still there, right?" Alice asked.
"Yes, it is still at Port Angeles," Carlisle replied.
"Where did you think, Edward?" Esme questioned.
"Your anniversary present."
"Oh! Isle Esme would be perfect. None of you have been there. I didn't want to chance it after Emmett and Rosalie practically destroyed it. I was afraid that it would not be in one piece when I went back to it."
"Where is Isle Esme?" Bella enquired.
"It is a few miles off the coast of Rio de Janeiro."
"Edward, Rio? Really?! What about a passport?"
"If we are flying a private jet, we won't need one. Then again I do have a passport for you in my bag," Alice explained.
"Why do you have that?"
"Well, Bella, about a month ago I felt like I needed to have one for you and Jazz had Jenks make one up for you. People, this is going to work. We don't have to pack anything. We just need to get to the airport, get on the jet, and take off. I'll call before we leave here and have them gas it up for us."
"Good thinking, Ally. I'll make sure all our papers are in order and that we have sufficient money," Jasper added.
"I'll help Esme cover and lock the house back up. Everyone, meet outside," Carlisel told us.
I took Bella's hand and led her outside. I saw her motorcycle and moved it into the garage.
"You think they can tell that we have been here together," Bella asked.
"They can but once we leave they won't know where we've gone. I don't think they have access to get security tapes. They may follow us to the airport but there will be no cars, no tickets, and no luggage. We can pass by virtually undetected," I told her.
"Which one of you will fly the plane?"
"Jasper with Alice as his co-pilot. Do not worry. They are experts at flying."
"Why does that not surprise me? If we are going to South America, isn't that a little too sunny for you all?"
"Not when we will be on a private island with no one around for miles."
"How in the world did you all manage a private island?"
"Like I said, it was an anniversary present for Esme from Carlisle."
"Have you ever been there?"
"No but I have seen it through Esme and Carlisle's thoughts. Alice and Jazz have not been there either and you heard what she said about Emmett and Rosalie."
"They actually did physical damage to her house. How did they manage that?"
"Well, for the first ten years of their marriage no one wanted to be around them. Let's just say they took their amorous activities t o the extreme. They managed to destroy three houses in the process. They ruined one of Esme's bedrooms on the island and she forbade them to ever go again."
"Really? So they knocked down houses while having sex? Huh. Guess we best wait until I'm more durable before we try something like that."
I was on her before she could even blink. I pressed my lips firmly to hers and melted my body with hers. I let her feel exactly what she did to me. I growled possessively, panted, and moaned in perfect sync with Bella's reactions. Just thinking of making love to her and thinking of sex after her change tipped me over the edge of sanity. I nibbled up her neck to her ear and I took her lobe between my teeth then licked up the shell of her ear. I thrust my throbbing manhood that was straining behind the zipper into her core which was blazing with heat that I felt through our layers of clothes. Bella moaned and clawed at my back.
"Baby, you cannot say things like that to me right now. God, Bella, the fantasy those words conjured alone was nearly enough to bring me to my knees," I growled.
"Then it's something you want," she panted.
"Desperately."
I heard four throats clear and we parted from one another. I tried to fix our clothes and my problem but they had already heard us and of course could smell what our activities had done to both of us. I saw four smiling vampires and one blushing Bella. Kill me now.
AUTHOR NOTE: sorry it took so long. I have had some tough assignments for school and of course the puppy. Like I said updates are not scheduled. I have to listen to Edward and Bella. Hope you enjoy. Reviews are nice.
Take care.
