Hey guys...so I finished school and guess what...I have more summer school T-T. And then after, supposedly we are going to take a quick trip to Nicaragua to see my family. So in other words, I might not post every month. It took me so long to finish this chapter. Ugh... Anyways...
To those who favorit-ed/followed: SylvieMarieRose, Freija84, ninja-of-twilight, New. York. Celt, imaginationcreationer- THANK YOU .
Isli: Thank you! Lilly is a pretty strong person, I would say I relate to her. Buuut, if it one of my characters I'd probably say Giselle. In later chapters, you'll see why. And in later chapters...well, not to spoil anything but...Lilly will get even *smirks*
CherryVanillaCoke: I have social anxiety and I tend to stutter when talking face to face with girls that are just...excuse my french, bitches. Lilly, will one day stand up to Lindsay and get over her social anxiety...even though its really hard to do so. =)
New. York. Celt: Thanks you, I'm glad you like this story. BTW fanfic was acting weird with your name so I had to change it just a bit. I really didnt want to, but I wanted to thank you and the stupid thing wouldn't freaking work! So, do forgive me =)
Disclaimer: I don't own anything but my characters.

New Friends Pt. II
~Raph's POV~
"I still think it's too early to be out here." Leo said nervously. "People could see us."
I roll my eyes, "Well it's a good thing we're ninjas." He always worries too much. Mikey and Donnie finally catch up with us and land right behind us. "Took you long enough."
"Donnie's fault!" Mikey said quickly, pointing at Donnie as if blaming him for something he did wrong.
"We passed by April's school. I just wanted to make sure she's out before we head over to her place." He explained. His crush on April is just about to cross the borderline of obsessive. It already crossed creepy. "They're out though." He said with a happy smile.
"We could've texted her you know." Leo argued, checking over the side of the building. "Is this information really that important?"
"Well, it could help us find out where her dad is. Or where he's going to be. And plus, I wanted to surprise her." He said with a dreamy smile.
"More like creep her out." I say under my breath.
I can feel Donnie's eyes glaring at me. A small smirk slaps on my face, just knowing that what I said had some type of effect on him.
"Hmph..." He mumbles, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Donnie, we could've texted her telling her to come over to our place. That would've been much easier." Leo whine annoyingly.
"Leo, why bother arguing about it if we're already here." I groan.
"What if we get caught?"
"What if we don't?"
"What if we do? Then what?"
I cross my arms over my chest and pout. "Whatever."
Earlier, Donnie was excited and bugging everyone about some type of krang transmission that could give us information on where they are keeping April's dad captive. Or where they are going to send him. He was so giddy and happy...and so annoying at the same time. I was on the verge of punching him. And since he kept bothering everyone and since everyone knows about his huge crush on April, no on argued.
Until now for some stupid reason.
"Let's get this over with." I say, turning so that I can jump and get away from these people.
Suddenly, a loud high-pitch scream echoed in the air. It sounded like a scream coming from a slasher movie. Like someone was killing someone else. I look at Leo and he nodded, giving me confirmation.
Without a second thought, we raced toward the sound, jumping from building to building. When we finally get to where the scream came from, we see a man trying to grab a young girl. She's crawling away, but soon the man grabs her feet.
"Leo let's-" I start, until he holds up his hand.
"Wait," He whispers.
I look and see the girl kick the man off of her and finally was able to gain her balance and run.
"Now."
Quickly we all jump down and surround the man. Each one of us throws a punch, but when it was my turn, I made sure I punched him extra hard. That'll teach him.
The man falls to the ground, unconscious. Leo grabs him and throws him over his shoulder. Like always... Then he jumps on the fire escape and it doesn't take long for me to know where he's going.
Police station...Again like always
I watch him leave, then turn and find Donnie rapidly picking up stuff from the floor and place it in a bag or a purse... Probably the girl's.
My eyes then dart towards the end of the ally when I see a figure turning. "Donnie, she's coming back!" I whisper harshly.
Donnie quickly puts everything into the bag and steps back and hides in the shadows. As did myself and Mikey.
I watch the young girl come closer and closer to where her attack happened. Why? I don't know, but I kinda don't care. She looks around and I think, upon seeing that her bag is missing she yells, "Fuck!" Making my eyes wide. Such vulgar language... Jeez..
Donnie clears his throat and my eyes watch him carefully hand her the bag. I finally see this girl's face when she turns. Round cheek bones, an round oval face, shiny dark hair. I didn't see much but I saw enough to know this girl was attractive.
"Can I ask your name?" Her voice was soft, low...as if she were shy. She spoke hushly, in a tone almost above a whisper.
"Um...well you can. But I don't think I can give you an answer." Donnie said, he's hidden well, but I doubt for very long.
Soon, Mikey starts jumping and even though hes tucked away in the shadows, I can see his face light up. "Ooh tell her I'm Mikey. Tell her I'm Mikey." He repeated over and over again behind Donnie.
"That's Mikey." Donnie groaned.
Although I rolled my eyes, I smiled. He always wants to make new friends.
"Can we show ourselves to her? Can we show ourselves please! Maybe she's nice. Maybe she won't scream. Maybe she'll get used to us like April."
The girls eyes widen. "April? April who?"
"I'm not sure we can give you that information."
"Let's just bail." I say. The girl finally looks at me. Her eyes catch my attention first. They were gold. They reminded me of melting gold. She had dark make up around her eyes that made them seem bigger and even more gold. Her cheeks were big and round and rosie. Her face seemed more oval now, curving at a specific point making it look like a model type stature. Her hair looked as if she were the one that curled it. It was dark brown, almost black but clearly brown. It was long, a little over her breast.
She was pretty.
Very pretty...
But, not my type.
When she turns back around, I can't pull my eyes away from her. I look at her body. She had thick curves and nice big (not to big) thighs. She wasn't fat. No. Not by a long shot, but she was thick. Full... Nice. Her shirt didn't hide her curves, no, but it did show that she had curves. Even with rolls, she would still be very pretty.
"Can I have your hand?" I hear Mikey ask. Uh-oh... This is going to end badly.
This girl lifts up her hand, but when she see's Mikey's hand, she backs away and her bright gold eye go wide with fear. I sigh, somewhat disappointed.
I look and see Donnie pull Mikey's hand back into darkness before saying, "We have to go." Donnie said quickly and just like that we left her.
Her eyes were imprinted in my mind. Stored in the gallery of other eyes that have seen us and looked at us with hatred, awe, and the most popular one of them all...fear. She was just another one of them. Another person who was scared shit-less of us. Thinking that we're...oh what's the word...
Freaks.
Donnie slapped the back of Mikey's head. "Mikey! Why would you do that?" He growled.
"Ow! Hey, I thought she'd be cool." He whined, rubbing his head.
"And what made you think that?"
"I just thought okay?"
I roll my eyes. "Mikey, people will never be cool with us."
"April was." Mikey argued.
"She wasn't at first. Plus she was being kidnapped by the Krang, we weren't the weirdest things she saw." Donnie grunted.
"Yeah, but still."
Suddenly Leo landed on the building. We all stared at each other in silence for a moment. Leonardo then shrugged his shoulders and lightly shook his head. "What?"
Donnie glared at Mikey before taking a deep breath. "Nothing... Let's just go." He said before turning and jumping to the next roof top.
~Lilly's POV~
"Whoa, whoa whoa. Calm down Lil. What happened?" April tried to calm me down as I paced in front of her as she sat on her bed.
"I-I w-was jumped then these...freaking things!"
"What things?"
"These...monsters!" I yelled, my whole body shaking in fear.
April squints her eyes as if she didn't understand what I was saying.
"I know. It sounds weird, but I saw them. They saved me and they were... I thought they were humans but... They're monsters! Great big monster!"
April stood up from her bed and placed her hands on my shoulders. "Calm down. First off, you said you were jumped. Are you okay? Did they take anything? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
Yeah, I'm dying... Really? Is that all she got. "No!"
"Okay then. Describe these 'monsters' to me again." She said slowly, like I'm going crazy.
"Big eyes...g-green skin... Big, giant!...hands!" I say frantically. "And they had three...fingers."
Her eyes widen, "Oh...lord." She said before backing away from me and going to the window. I knew then that she didn't believe me... Or that something else was troubling her. Maybe she's encountered these creatures also.
I sat on her bed and stared blankly at her wall, trying to recall the events of today. Blue, brown, green eyes. Green skin... Green hands...big hands. Three fingers...
Suddenly, I remember something. "They...mentioned you..." I say so quietly, I don't even think she heard me.
"What?" And I was right.
"They mentioned you." I say louder. I stand up and walk up to her. "They said your name. They didn't say your last name but they said April."
April shifts herself. "Maybe, they meant the month...April."
My eyes widen and my hand goes to my mouth. "You know what I'm talking about..." I gasp. "And you know who these things are... Oh my god! You know what these things are. Don't you?
"I...can't say that." She says, her blue eyes avoiding mine.
"You do!" I shout throwing my hands into the air and going back to pacing. "All those times you were talking about your 'special' friends. I thought it was because you liked them. But really you were hanging out with these...MONSTERS!"
"Don't call them that!" She yells. "They are kind people!"
"People!?"
"Yes, people! They have helped me through thick and thin. They saved me so many times from other...things."
"Other things? There are others?"
"That's not what I meant!" She looked down at her feet. "They're family."
"Family!?" I shout in disbelief.
"Yes, family. I was going to tell you...someday. I just...didn't expect you to react this way." She says, her big blue eyes both sad and disappointed.
I sigh. I honestly don't see how those things are nice... Well, I guess I can. But they're not human. How can she see them as family? Friends? I get that they're good...things, they saved me and all, but they are not human.
I walk up to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. Just then, there was a knock on the window and when I look, there they were looking back at me in shock. Those creatures again stood in front of me and this time I got a great look at them.
Wait...there are four!
April has a small smile when she went to the window and opened it. "Guys, this is Lilly." She said.
That blue eyed one with the same voice came up to me. A big smile on his face and a piece of cloth wrapped around his face, surrounding his eyes which were big and blue. "Hi again!'
I smile and chuckled...before everything went back.
~Raph POV~
'THUD'
We all watched as the same scared, pretty girl from the ally chuckled nervously then, fell to the ground.
April was immediately trying to wake her up. But when shaking her was proven useless, she looked up at us with a worried look on her face.
"This is the 'Lilly' you were talking about?" Donnie asked. "We saved her from this guy trying to take her shirt off. Mikey scared her off." he said as he entered her room and picked Lilly off the floor. She seemed lifeless. The way he picked her up was effortless.
"See, I told you she was cool." Mikey says stubbornly.
"Well, you can't really say that, since she passed out when she saw you." Donnie place Lilly on April's bed.
Finally I entered, "Who wouldn't?"
"H-Hey!" Mikey whined.
"Wait..." Leo said before coming in. "You guys talked to a complete stranger? Why?"
"Not a stranger. Lilly." Mikey smiled and pointed at the passed out girl.
"You didn't know her name before." Leo argued like a child.
"No, I did when we saved her in the ally way. She told us her name. Then I-mphf!" Donnie quickly covered his mouth.
"Shut up Mikey." He growled nervously.
I watched as April held a hand to Lilly's forehead. At this, I rolled my eyes. "She's not sick April. She just passed out."
"Your point being...?" She snapped.
"Don't worry April." Donnie said, coming up behind her and placing a hand on her shoulder. "It happens all the time, she's going to be fine."
"Oh, I know... I'm just..." She sighed. "I guess disappointed."
"Why?" All of us asked.
April's eyes looked at all of us. "I was hoping you guys would be friends and all. I didn't expect her to...act the way she did."
"How'd she act?" I ask. And technically, I already know the answer.
"Like every other person did. She flipped. Then she found out that I'm friends with you guys because apparently someone mentioned me when you guys saved her. And when she asked I..." She sighed again.
"You told her?" Leo stepped up and said.
"No, I denied. But you guys know I suck at lying." She said shamefully.
"S'ok April. No one is mad." Donnie comforted.
"I know. I know." She looked at Lilly. "Do you think you guys could drop her off at her place? I can take you there."
"Um..." Donnie looked at Leo for approval. And it took forever for him to give a simple nod. "Yeah, we can."
Donnie went over and gently picked up Lilly. She seemed to be asleep now. I could hear her slightly snoring. I watched as Donnie completely ignored her when she snuggled into his chest. I would've freaked out.
"I wanna carry her." Mikey said.
"That's okay Mikey, I got her."
"But I wanna carry her."
"Mikey, I got her."
"Just give her to me." Mikey grabbed her hand and gently pulled Lilly. Donnie quickly gathered her again before she fell out of his arms.
"Mikey, I got it."
It? I hope he doesn't mean Lilly.
"Donnie..." Mikey whined, pulling her arm again. This time he pulled Lilly out of Donnie's hands. But before she hit the floor, I quickly stepped in and grabbed her.
"No, I got her. If you guys keep fighting, by the time we get to her place she'll have a concussion." I playfully joked, grabbing Lilly's body. Jesus, she's light... Does she even eat? "Where does she live?" I asked April.
"A couple blocks down the street. I-I'll lead the way... Let's just hope her mom's not home." She says, walking over to the windows and climbing out.
"What's up with her mom?" I ask following April out of the window.. I see her hands caress Lilly's head as I come out. I think she was making sure Lilly didn't bump her head or something like that.
"Oh, is Lilly the girl with the neglectful mother?" Donnie asked.
"What does that mean?" Mikey asked, following me out the window.
"It means she doesn't care- more or less. And yes." April said.
"How?" I ask, actually interested. How can a mother not care about her own daughter?
"Her mother is 30 years old and ever since Lil's dad died, her mother has gotten a new pervert for a boyfriend and she's out all the time either getting drunk or high."
Jeez...
"Honestly, I thought she was spoiled." At least that was my first impression of her.
"No... She doesn't even have a phone. She barely has any food... She eats out most of the times." April hopped up on the roof and held out her hands. "Give her to me."
I put my foot on the railing and use it to push myself up just hard enough that I am able to jump and land on the edge of the roof. "No it's okay. I got it." I say with a smile.
"Does her mom...you know...?" Mikey asked as he jumped his way up.
"Hit her...?" When Mikey nodded she says, "No...I don't think so. From what I hear it's more verbal abuse than anything."
Leo jumps up last and just stares at me. Or her... I'm not sure. "What?" I ask, snapping his out of his trance. "You wanna hold her?" I ask with a slight smirk, holding out my arms to him.
He shakes his head, "No... She's just really pretty..." He says softly. My brow lifts into an questioning arch. "You sure she's a good person?"
"Yes." April says.
"You told Donnie a lot about her. Can you tell me?" He asks.
"Ooh ooh ooh! I wanna know too. I wanna know everything about her, so that when she wakes up I can tell her everything you told me and she'll think I'm like...a psycho or something." Mikey giddily said.
"It's a psychic Mikey." Donnie corrected.
"No no...he got it right. Psycho." I joked. Wow, that was a nice one.
April chuckled, turning. "Lilly is a very nice and sweet person. She's a very shy girl. So next time you guys talk to her, take it nice and slow. That could be one of the reasons she fainted." She waves over Donnie and he runs to her, wrapping his arm around her waist and jumping over to the next building. Mikey and Leo both followed.
I had to have a running start.
"Next time?" Leo asks.
"Well, yeah I mean, it's not like she's going to forget that this happened. You guys are going to have to explain to her what and who you are."
"SO THAT MEANS SHE IS OUR FRIEND!" Mikey shouted.
"Maybe," Leo said. "We have to talk to Sensei first."
"Why?" I ask because it is completely unnecessary.
"Because, you know how he hates it when people see us... Especially people we don't know."
"I think Sensei will love her. I know I do!" Mikey jumped happily, a big grin on his face.
"You love everyone." Donnie rolled his eyes.
"Not true...I..." He stopped. "Well, I guess."
I rolled my eyes and jumped again. I looked down at the sleeping girl in my arms. She looks way to nice, way to innocent, for anyone to actually hate her. Or at least that's what April says. They way she will act towards me and everyone else will decide whether or not I like her. Her attitude, that's what's important. If she's a stuck-up snob, then...nope! But, judging by her life, I honestly need to open my mouth and enter my foot because...I was way off.
Shows me not to judge...
When we get to this girl's place, April peeks through the window to make sure it's actually this girl's house and not some strangers. Then, swiftly opens the window.
"Set her on the bed. Carefully." She orders.
I enter the room and look around. There were posters almost all over her wall. Each one a different band.
"She really likes...My Chemical Romance?" I say, kinda weird-ed out.
"Yeah, its her favorite band." April said. She then pointed at the neatly made bed. "Set her there. I'll be right back." She then walked out of the room and into the hallway.
The guys all came in one by one, all staring at the walls in wonderment. All except Mikey, who just kept staring at Lilly. Weirdo...
"Nice taste in music." Donnie says. Lilly had a small nightstand next to her bed. It had 2 pictures on it. One was of what I assume to be her mo and dad. Her dad was carrying her. She had her arms in the air and a happy 'open-mouth' smile. As did her mom, who looked so much like Lilly. Her dad had black hair and dark tan skin, and still looked like a teenager. As did her mother. The second picture was of a boy, who looked a little older than her dad. He was dressed in a Marine uniform. The picture had some writing on it that said:
'I miss and love you with all my heart -Ian'
Must be her boyfriend.
Donnie picked up the photo of Lilly with her parents. "Is she Latina?"
"Why are you asking me? I don't know." I groan, setting Lilly down on her bed.
April comes back in with a big sigh. "So, her mom is out. She left a note on the fridge saying she'd be back later... Who knows when that'll be."
"Hey April, is she Latina?" Donnie asked. "Her dad and this guy looks Latin."
April went over to him and looked at the picture Donnie was holding. "I guess. I mean her last name is Aguilar. That's her dad. And this..." She picked up the other picture. "This is her cousin. He was like a father to Lilly when her dad died and her mom was out partying." She explained. "She never really talked about her race. I just thought she was white. Her mom is, that's for sure."
Okay, so its her cousin, not her boyfriend.
"You guys go ahead. I'm going to stay. I don't want her to be alone."
"Wait we-" Donnie started, but Leo placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Another time." He said quietly.
"Okay..."
"Kay guys." April said, pushing everyone out of the room, except for Mikey. "Mikey, you gotta go to."
"Awe, I wanna stay with our new friend." He whined, slowly getting up and walking toward the window.
"Another day..." April chuckles, before we all climb out of the room and onto the fire escape.
"Come on Mike," I say patting his shoulder. Poor guy... Sometimes we all just want a friend. And Mike has had his share of bad friends.
We all have.
"Let's go talk to Sensei about Lilly kay?"
"Yeah...Okay..." He says glumly.
~Lilly's POV~
I wake with a start, gasping as if I need air. I sit up in a bed...but whose. I don't know... I look around the room and I'm confused.
Why am I in my room?
Soon, April walks in. "How are you feeling?" She ask with a smile.
I blinked, staring at her. My eyes were scanning her as if for the first time. How am I doing? "I...I don't know." I answer honestly.
"Do you feel sick? Tired? Dizzy?" She asks, entering my room and sitting on the edge of my bed.
"Dizzy...but then again that could just be all the questions you're asking me." I rub my eyes, only to remember I had make-up on. "Shit."
"You still look fine." April smiled. There was a small silence before April placed a hand on my lap and looked at me with big worried eyes. "Lilly... We have to talk."
I narrow my eyes, trying to recall why I had passed out. I slowly open my eyes and shift in my bed. I remember now. "Uh..."
"Lilly... I was going to introduce you to them but...the way you reacted..." She sighed, shaking her head.
I suddenly became mad. Angry. "Did you expect me to just be happy and welcoming? Did you expect my to just be all 'Hey I'm Lilly, let's be best freaking friends for the rest of our lives'?"
"No, but I didn't expect you to faint." April stood up and placed her hands on her hips.
"Okay... Well, neither did I." I stretch my muscles but suddenly stop. "Are they here?"
"No... But they brought you here. See. They're nice." She huffed with a pout.
"I never said the weren't nice. I was just...weird-ed out that they look the way they do. Can you really blame me?"
"No," She sighed. "I Kinda freaked out when I first met them."
"See. You can't blame me for anything."
"I guess." April sits back down on my bed." Lil... You can't really... Do you think...I mean..."
I stare at her, "Yes? Need me to pull your string so you can talk?" I joke.
April chuckles, looking down at her lap. "Do you really think that you can, you know, get use to them?" She finally asks. "Because, I mean I know its a lot to ask for because I didn't think I'd be their friend. But now, I love them like they were my family."
I sigh. She's right. That is a lot to ask for. I honestly can't see how she got use to them. I don't see how I can ever get used to them. "I don't even know what they are."
"They're mutants."
Mutants...?
"And they're turtles."
Turtles?
"And they're ninjas."
Ninjas... I couldn't help myself. It sounded like something straight out of a comic book. I started to chuckle, which turned into laughter. When I saw the seriousness in April's glare, I suddenly stopped. "Wait, you're serious?"
"Yeah."
"Mutant turtle ninjas?"
"More or less." April shrugs, smiling slightly. "Next time you meet them, don't faint."
"Next time?" She nods. "And when exactly will that be?" I say, my back straight and my arms over my chest.
"Whenever you want. Just let me know in advance."
I yawn nodding lazily. "Okay..." I look around my room and think. "My mom is not home huh?"
April shakes her head, "No. There was a note on the fridge saying she was out and will be home late."
I roll my eyes. That fucking women... "Probably getting drunk or high."
"Poor Lilly." April said, puckering her lips.
"Poor Lilly? She's ruining her life. Poor Aniya."
"That's her name?"
"Yeah. Pretty name huh? Big freaking waist though."
April scrunches up her face. "Whoa, there. Little rough don't you think."
I shake my head. "No. She's done this too many times. Leaving me alone for dick-face. I no longer have any sympathy for her feelings or whatever girls like her have."
"So, technically, poor Lilly."
I chuckled softly, running my fingers through my hair. "Yeah, poor me."
So there is chapter 4. I hope you like it. I didn't really check the errors so if there are any, please just skip over them T-T. I hate errors. Thanks for reading.
