The trench coat wearing Tyrant began marching after John. The ex-researcher bolted around corners and through the hall but no matter how hard he ran; he could still hear the monster's loud footsteps right behind him. Eventually, he entered the main hall of the police station. Thinking quickly, he hid underneath the reception desk.
He heard Mr. X's footsteps grow louder and stop, as if it was scanning the area looking for him. After a few moments, he heard the footsteps move in the opposite direction. He sighed in relief and slowly got out from underneath the desk.
Only to turn and see Mr. X standing right behind him. He gasped in shock as the monster grabbed him by the throat. It slowly began squeezing harder and harder. John could feel himself losing more air each second and got closer to closing his eyes with each breath.
Suddenly, out of pure instinct, he pulled out the cleaver and slammed into the side of Mr. X's throat. The monster let out a silent scream and dropped John, falling on one knee. As John regained his vision, he saw the monster stunned and took advantage.
"Time to die, Terminator!", he shouted
He yanked out the cleaver and rammed it into Mr. X's head, resulting in it falling on the ground. John began to scream as he continuously slammed it down on the monster's head, pulverizing into a gory pile of skin, brain, and blood. He then sheathed it and got his shotgun. He loaded it before blowing up the rest of the head. He then shouted, slowly lowering the gun, and breathing heavily.
"Command, I just found a survivor and he just took out what seems to be a Tyrant.", reported a male voice
John turned raising his shotgun and saw that the source of the voice was pointing a semi-automatic machine gun at him. The man was dressed in an all-black SWAT uniform with the Umbrella logo embroidered on his right sleeve. He had a communicator in his other hand.
"Identify yourself.", ordered the soldier
John slowed down his breathing and lowered his shotgun. He was in shock that there was another living person other than him in this nightmare.
"John. My name is John Clemens.", he answered, "I'm a former Umbrella researcher."
"A former Umbrella researcher?", the soldier repeated before turning on his communicator once more, "Command, the survivor is an ex-Umbrella researcher. What is your order?"
A mumbled voice could be heard over the comm. When it stopped, the soldier put it on his belt before lowering his gun.
"Come with me, Mr. Clemens.", he ordered, "I am Agent HUNK. There is a chopper inbound for the roof in five minutes. You're coming with me by order of Command."
John was shocked once again before eventually nodding. The two then began heading towards the roof.
