Oh my lord jesus... It's been forever hasn't it. So I didn't go to Nicaragua, instead I went Las Angles and then Vegas which, by the way, is really boring when you're under age. We drove there... And when we came back, school started and... I've been wanting to pull my hair out more than once. I haven't really had any chance with this or the other story. Forgive me, I am not worthy of your reviews, or reads T-T. I love you guys.

Song for the Chapter- Absolutely (Story of A Girl) ~ Nine Days

Couple days later...

Getting To Know One Another

~Lilly's POV~

Sometimes, I love the rain...

The way the air smells after it comes down. The way it sort of washes your problems away. The way it sounds when it hits the floor...

Sometimes, I love the rain...

Except today. I hate the rain.

I have no umbrella, my jacket is just made for the cold and not water, my hair is soaking wet and I'm positive that everything in my bag is soaking too...today is just not my day.

April was not at school today, so I had to hang out with Giselle who was hanging out alone because everyone was apparently being mean or something... And then after a test in Bostwick's that I so brutally failed, I went to dance class and got yelled at by a very frustrated Ms. Stevenson who said that if I didn't know this stupid dance by Monday, then maybe Jackie should dance with David in the dance show...

And it's my most favorite dance...

Now, I'm walking home, getting all soaking wet because my mom never wants to pick me up from school. Next thing you know, it's gonna be snowing and I'm still going to be walking home freezing and probably soaking wet.

I'm almost to my house, so I'll be warm and happy-ish...

Maybe if I jog I'll warm myself up. And I'll also get home faster so...win win.

I prepare myself first before I hold my bag close the to my chest and then I go for I begin to jog.

In about four steps I'll be there.

But...

I was so happy that I was finally home that I failed to see the giant puddle that was right before my steps. I stepped in it and then...

"Oh...!" My foot slipped on the slippery part of the cement and I quickly landed on the floor, in the puddle...and... "Owie..."

I get up and wipe the dirt off of me. "Great..." I sighed as I stared at my soaked pants and, not only that, but I could feel my back completely wet. "Of course a puddle had to be right there. After all the puddles I passed, I had to slip on the one exactly by my house..." I mummered to myself as I walk up the stairs.

I dig through my dripping wet bag for the keys to my front door. Suddenly the door flew open and I saw my mother dressed in a sparkling purple dress. Her make up was...well all over the place. She looked nice, but a little too much purple.

John was standing right behind her in, I guess nice clothes. If he was aiming for classy bum, he won.

My mom smiled until she saw me. "Oh, I thought you weren't coming home."

"Where would I go?" I scoffed, rolling my eyes and pushing past her.

"I don't know. Last time you were at your boyfriends for a week. Boy, did that blow up in your face." She said, chuckling a bit.

I turned to face her. "Thanks for bringing that up. Oh and thanks for being useful and picking me up from school. You're a really good mom." I threw my bag to the side. My mom always says things to hurt me. She just wants to get under my skin all the time. I feel as though sometimes she doesn't really care. She used to...

My mom grunts in anger. "Shut up brat. You're lucky I don't beat you in front of everyone like I did last time."

I laugh and head for the kitchen, "I was four last time..." I stopped when that memory flashed in my head. "And...he stopped you." I whisper to myself.

"Christine and her friends are here. We're just going to go to the liquor store and get some booze and you can spend your weekend all alone." My mom sighed. "Don't wait up."

I spun around to yell at my mother. I was going to tell her...that I wanted her here. That I wanted her to stay with me. Like old times... But she was already out the door.

"Ugh..." I groaned. "Fucking woman is unbelievable!" I yelled and stomped all the way to my room.

I bumped into some guy though. Some guy who smelt like booze and looked like he hasn't taken a shower in weeks. He smiled at me. His teeth were yellow and gross. He had greasy black hair, with bangs that covered one eye. He looked like a punk reject. A wannabe...an asshole.

"Wow there baby. Give your mom a break. She needs one after dealing with you for a week." He slurred.

I gagged, "Oh yeah, like you know her."

"Awe, need some relaxing? I can be your pill baby..." He chuckled and leaned in.

I quickly pushed him away. My pill? "Unless you're a pill that can put me to sleep, so I won't have to see or smell you...no thanks."

I walked to my room. My wrist was caught and I was twirled to face this dick again.

"Just a quickie so I have something to think about whe-"

My hand lashed across his face. "Not in your life, you asshole." I kneed him in the groin and watched as he groaned in pain.

"Don't mess with her Charles...she's more like her dad than her mom." My head spun to see my mother's friend Christine standing in my mother's room.

I smiled. Christine was one of the few of my mom's friends that I liked. She was a pretty, from her blonde hair to her stunning outgoing personality.

"How can you hang out with guys like these Chris? They are so...not your type." I joked walking over towards her.

"Yeah, but I get bored so...I hang out with these guys." She smiled, her white teeth sorta made her red lipstick shine.

"How've you been?" I asked wrapping my arms around her waist."

She placed her hands on my head and chuckled, "I've been bored." She joked, kissing the top of my head.

Technically, she's my step-aunt or whatever. My mom's step-sister that we bumped into a couple years ago. She stuck with us after she saw that my mom went downhill. She occasionally pops in to say hi and hang out with my mom who's her best friend. She's a better mom in an hour than mine has been my whole life...it hurts to say that, but it's true.

"I hope you get bored more often." I say burying my face in her chest. "I missed you."

"I've missed you too baby...but I have a lot of things to do. I just opened a shop down the street. If you even need a haircut, I'll do yours for free." She whispered before kissing my head once more.

I pulled away and smiled. "Maybe you could dye my hair again soon."

"Hmm...depends, what color?"

"Purple?" I pleaded, my shoulders shrugging.

"Purple? What the hell? Uh-uh girl, you're crazy."

I pouted. "You're no fun."

She cupped my chin and kissed my nose. "I can when I want to be. Go dry off." She then walked towards the dick that was still groaning in the floor. She kicked his chest. "Get up you wuss. She didn't do you that bad did she."

"Easy for...you to say..." He groaned, slowly getting up. "You...don't have balls..."

She laughed, "Yeah, neither do you. Only guys with balls pick on girls their age and size." She continued walking towards the living room.

This guy Charles, gets up and stares at me. "You're gonna get it."

Christine popped out of no where. "Hey asshole! You lay a finger on her and I'll cut it off. Along with other parts, Now come on."

"Hey, Christine..." I called. "Get better friends...you deserve better." I then skipped to my room and slammed the door behind me.

I quickly got undressed and put on a white tang too and my black pajama bottoms. I then tied my hair into a tight wet bun and finally threw myself onto my bed.

I had a lot of homework to do. Did I want to do any of it?

"No..." I answered out loud.

Was I going to do any of it?

"Probably...maybe..." I answered again.

I shut my eyes and slowly took a deep breath. I didn't want to be there. I wanted to go somewhere else.

Maybe April's pla-

No... I hate to say it because it's mean, but I've kinda been distant with April. She's been wanting me to meet those...things again. And I honestly want nothing to do with them. Yes, they're nice. But I just don't...I can't...

And I don't have a valid reason. Or a reason that doesn't sound mean. I just don't want to see them...and I know they're April's friends which is why she wants me to meet them but...I can't...

"I guess I'm stuck here." I sigh, getting up from my bed. I grab my pillow and pull out my MP3 player from inside the cover.

I sit at the edge of the bed and begin to pick what song I wanted to listen to. But before I put the earphones in my ears, I heard a knock at my window.

I jumped and scooted as far I could away from the window as I could. My heart was racing quickly and my breath was hitched.

Another knock.

I started to get desperate. "Slenderman?" I whispered.

Another knock.

"Slenderman, go away. I was just kidding when I said I wanted to meet you yesterday." I said to myself.

Another knock, then, "Lilly?"

"Slenderman?"

"Lilly, you home?"

"April?" I quickly went to the window and opened it to find April standing there in a yellow rain jacket. "What the fuck dude? What are you doing out there?" I asked, allowing her to pass and enter my room.

She stepped in and shook the rain off her.

"Hey, I just finished drying myself and here you are getting me all wet again."

April laughed, "I hope you know how that sounds."

"Yes I do." I chuckled. "What are you doing here and why didn't you use the front door?" I said, taking her rain coat.

"Well, I know you're gonna hate me for this but I kinda-"

"Lilly!"

I quickly turned and gasped when I got embraced by someone who had green...skin...

"I missed you! It's been like a year." It said.

"Its been a week, Mikey." April chuckled.

"Well, it feels like a year." Mikey said, hugging me even tighter.

"Uh..." Was all I could say. And before I knew it, more of them were coming through my window.

"Wow, it sure is raining out there huh?" Said one with a purple mask around its head.

"Uh.."

"Oh, hi Lillian, feeling better?" He asked me.

"Uh."

Another one, with a red mask came through my the window. "Geez, it's raining hard now. We should've taken the shellraiser, Donnie."

I quickly glarred at April, "Uh!"

"Yeah, they just wanted to say hi. Hope it's no trouble." April laughed nervously.

I shook my head. "Uh-uh."

April just smiled.

"Lilly, hope you don't mind the intrusions. We just wanted to ask you a couple of questions before things go any further with us." Yet another ONE came in through my window. This one had a blue mask on.

I felt my knees buckle, and my head began to spin. I didn't want to, but I had to hold on to Mikey who was still hugging me.

"Whoa there," he said, before gently helping me to my bed. "Are you gonna faint on us again?"

I had to clear my throat before I attempted to speak. But all that came out was a bunch of gibberish. I began to breathe hard.

April sat right next to me. "I know, I know... I'm sorry. But Leo wanted to ask you some questions, and when Mikey wanted to come, everyone else did too. I should have told you but it was completely unplanned. I'm sorry."

I stared at her, placing a hand on my chest, attempting to breathe. "It's...it's okay..." I wheezed.

"Hey Lil, I know we look weird, but all we want to do is be your friends." Mikey tried to sooth me. I stared at his extremely blue eyes. He had cheeks, and he had freckles on those cheeks. "Well, Leo wants to ask you questions but I want to be your friend."

I had to admit...this guy was pretty cute. Or adorable...

I blinked. He was adorable. "Th-thanks."

I stood up and stumbled towards the door. Before I did anything I forced myself to say, "There are people...stay here."

"You don't have to worry about us." Someone said.

I nodded and burped...Uh-oh..."I'll...be back..." I opened the door, stepped out, then shut the door behind me. I then quickly ran to my bathroom, and threw up everything I ate that morning.

Christine ran to my side once she heard the sounds and cursed. "Shit baby, what happened?" She stood behind me and began to rub my back as I gagged into the toilet. "You were fine a second ago?"

I finished and wiped my mouth with the back of my hand. I then shakily reached up and flushed the toilet. "I...don't know."

"Well, get some rest. Maybe you are stressed or something school related. What'd you eat?" She helped me up to my feet and I quickly went over to the sink and began to rise out my mouth.

"Oh gosh, that tasted horrible." I gagged.

"Well yeah, duh. It's vomit." She chuckled, continuing to rub my back.

Once I finished washing my mouth I took my tooth brush and shakily placed toothpaste on it. "Holy crap! Look I'm shaking." I breathlessly said, holding up my hand and watched as it shook.

"You, little lady, need some rest. Go now. .." she ordered.

"Okay mom." I joked, spitting the toothpaste out and finishing everything else. I then threw away the toothbrush in a small garbage can. Then I walked past Christine who was staring at me with an odd expression. "What?"

"Don't call me that." She said flatly.

My eyes suddenly widen, "No Chris, I was just kidding. I didn't mean-"

"Just don't ever call me that. Go get some rest. We're leaving..." She then quickly left the bathroom.

I sighed and went to my room. Christine was a mom before she lost her baby. It lived to be a year old and then got sick. After her baby died, Christine suddenly ran off and no one knew where. Little did we know, we'd bump into her on our way to New York.

She never had a boyfriend or even thought about kids afterwards. And it would really upset her whenever my mom wouldn't act like a mom.

"I'm so stupid!" I cursed myself, palming my face as I entered the room.

"What's wrong?" Mikey asked suddenly.

I jumped, "Oh, geez..." I said when I noticed he was right in my face.

"What happened?" He asked again.

"Um...nothing." I said, lightly clapped his shoulders. "D-dont worry."

"Where'd you go?" April asked.

"I threw up." I said as I went to my bed and threw myself on it.

"Really?"

"Yup..." I said, my hands covering my face.

"O-okay..."

I felt someone kick my leg. "Hey. Hey you..."

I looked up and saw the red one standing over me. "You must be the gentleman." I muttered hushly.

"Huh?" He answered firmly.

"Nothing, what?" I'm getting annoyed now.

He grunts, "Leo has to ask you some questions."

I pushed myself up with my elbows and sat up. "What kind of questions?"

"Just some questions. I'm going to study your reaction so don't bother lying because, I'll know." I'm guessing, Leo, said as he stepped and stood in front of me. I stared at him, eyeing the things that were sticking out of his back.

"Quit quoting that stupid show and ask her the questions already." The red one urged.

"Wait..." I say, standing up. I pointed to his back. "What are those?"

He looked back and smiled. "Oh these?" He reached for them and pulled out a huge sword.

My eyes widen, "Whoa whoa whoa...what the hell! Why do you have those! April!" I said frantically.

April quickly place a hand on my shoulder. "Leo, you're so mean. Put it away."

"I thought she would-"

"I don't like the big sword." I said. "Swords make me scared, please put it away."

Leo shrugged and placed it back in his thingy. "Anyways, we just want to get to know you a little better, okay Lillian?"

"Lilly...I hate Lillian." I said, finally relaxing.

"Okay then. April has told us a little bit about your life. Your father, your cousin, your mother. Is there anything involving...bad people in your family? Like gang related or...something?"

I stared at April for a moment. I was...a little ticked off that she told my life to these people. I mean, I don't like my business out there for the whole world to know. But, I'll talk about it with her later.

"No. Not that I know of. My mom and her boyfriend occasionally go out and get high but, I'm sure you already know that." I say, never taking my eyes off of April.

"Do you have any association with any drugs of any sort?"

I rolled my eyes, "No. Why would I?"

"It's and innocent question." The purple one quickly said. I looked at him and instantly realized that he was the one who gave me my purse in that alley. "Parents leave a great impression on their child. We were just wondering-"

"He's not my parent." I said quickly and maybe a little too harshly. "Sorry...I mean, I usually...get pretty angry when they refer to him as my father or whatever. Sorry..."

He smiled softly and shook his head. "No need to apologize. I get it."

I looked back at Leo. "I'll tell you everything I want to tell you. I mean, somethings...I don't really talk about so I won't tell you extremely personal things."

Leo nodded. "That's okay... I don't need a lot. Just enough."

I cleared my throat before speaking. "I was five when my dad died of Cancer. My mom wasn't the same. She sorta, drifted downhill after a while. My cousin, who was the same age as my mom, took care of me and stuff. I wasn't alone until he left for Iraq and my mom found her boyfriend. He's not a good guy... I don't like him one bit. Uh... I won't lie, I have done drugs and I've drank before...but ever since the seventh grade, I haven't touched any drug or alcoholic beverage."

Leo seemed uneasy when I said that. He shifted his stance to a more intimidating one.

I gulped. "I, uh, began to study hard in school. I figured, my mom has to be proud one way or another. And plus I didn't want to end up like her so I...got my grades up and I'm doing good so far. I met April on my first day of school. And now we're best friends. Or at least I hope."

I waited a moment. A long period of silence was shared before anyone spoke.

"Well, I think you're cool. And you're gonna go far with your life. Whatever that means..." Mikey comforted, sitting next to me and wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

"Uh...thanks Mikey..." I said slowly.

"So...Leo, what doya think?" April asked. I saw that her blue eyes were full of hope. She was...hopeful.

Leo never took his eyes off of me. He was trying to read me, but I know that is near impossible because I'm like a book with invisible ink. He's not going to read me just by a look.

He sighed, "She's good."

Told ya...

"There are some things we need to talk about though." He added.

"You can't tell anyone about us." Mikey says. "Unless you want to."

"I wasn't planning on it." I chuckled softly. Man, his eyes were really blue. "If I am going to see you guys again, what are your names? I mean I got Mikey and Leo but..." I turn and stare at the only two...turtles I don't know yet.

"Oh, I'm Donatello. And this is Raphael. But call me Don."

"Raph..."

I nodded at the two. "Okay...cool." I looked over at April. "Next time you plan on dropping by, use the front door. I thought you were...he, who shall not be named."

April smiled softly. "No problem."

"Who's he?" Mikey asked suddenly.

I laughed, "Slender."

Don knew who I was talking about, because he seemed to find that funny.

"Who's slender?"

"Don't worry Mikey, he's just a monster from a story we read about sometime ago." April said patting his knee.

I laughed a bit before pulling away from Mikey and stood. "Um, so...make yourself...comfortable. I'm gonna go check to see if my mom's friends left yet."

When I got nods from everyone in the room, I went to check and see if Christine and the other dude were gone. Couple calls and no answer was all I needed to confirm that Christine had in fact left. I sighed, she didn't even say goodbye.

"Nice Lilly, remind the lady about her dead baby. You're suck a fucking idiot." I mumbled to myself before making my way back to my room.

"You guys are free to move about my house...what?" I asked, cocking my head to the side when I saw that everyone in the room was infatuated with the posters on my wall.

"Are you like...those people?" Raph asked.

"Those people? I don't understand..." I said, confused.

"Th-those people. I forgot what you call them." He said snapping his fingers.

"I would say Emo...but..." Donnie added.

"Yeah, that's it!" Raphael quickly said. "Emo! Are you?"

I clenched my fists.

"Now, Raph, Emo is just a thing society made up. It actually used as a slur towards people who are just into different things." Donnie clear up perfect.

His comment made me study him closely. He was the smart one, I could tell. He had this huge stick, sticking out of his back. I'm guessing that's his sword or weapon or whatever.

They were ninjas.

Raph...I can't help it, and I know I shouldn't judge but...he's an asshole.

Not a bad one, just an annoying one.

"It's okay, ignorant people tend to think it's okay to call other people that. No big deal..." I said with a small smirk as I walked over by Leo, who seemed to be looking around the room.

"Ignorant?" Raph growled.

"Yeah." I nodded. "Did I say something wrong?" My voice was oddly soft and gentle than it normally would be.

He huffed and rolled his eyes. "Whatever."

I smiled triumphantly. I have won.

Mikey turned with a smile on his face. "What kind of movies do you like?"

I blinked, "Uh...scary movies mostly. But I dont have any favorites."

"Nice! Do you have any?"

"Um...no. But I have Netflix on my laptop. We can watch whatever you want to watch on there." I offered with a shrug. My addiction to Netflix is so bad that I only offered so I wouldn't have to do my homework.

"What's that?"

I felt my jaw dropped. "You don't... Hold on." I went under my bed to grab my laptop, which had my charge attached to it, and then grabbed Mikey's hand. "Come and I'll show you." I led him out of my room and into my living room. I sat right next to the plug by the TV and patted the spot next to me. "Sit."

~Raph's POV~

I don't like her. She seemed fun and awesome but she's just...I don't like her...that much anyways. I mean she's good with Mikey, and Donnie which makes me happy. Besides that I can totally tell she doesn't like me and for that, I don't like her. She called me ignorant... And I couldn't say anything back because 'You have to be nice Raph.'

She has to be nice to me first!

"So Leo...What do you think?" April asked again. "But this time, be truthful."

Leo sighed, "Well, she seemed good. But like Master Splinter told us, we shouldn't give her all our trust. That's what we did with you, after all."

April blinked, "What? Really? You didn't trust me?"

"I trusted you completely." Donnie said quickly. Yeah, of course he did.

"Mikey seems to love her." I said, sitting on the girl's bed. "Then again, Mikey likes everyone."

"Lilly is a really awesome person you guys. You can trust her. And I think Splinter will change his mind when he meets her in person." April said with a smile.

"She seems cool. I mean, Raph and I have been monitoring almost her every move since we bumped into her last time. Nothing suspicious. Only thing we actually saw that didn't seem right was her mom and her mom's boyfriend." Donnie explained.

Yeah, we followed her for a couple days to make sure she wasn't doing anything that would put us in danger. A little selfish, but necessary. We would only follow her from school and back, because those were the only places she would go. And since we knew what time April's school began and ended, it was pretty easy. Although, it took Lilly forever to come out of school and head home.

"Wait, what does she do after school?" I asked April.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, she takes like an hour to leave school. What does she do?"

"Oh! She practices."

"Like sports?" Donnie asked.

"No... She dances. She practices with this guy David. Apparently, they have a lot of chemistry and are pretty good dancers together." April explained.

Well that explains it, she dances...nice.

"Well then, yeah...she's clean." I said, and laid back on her bed.

"I would keep an eye on her mom's boyfriend. I have a really bad feeling about him. He gives me the heebie-jeebies. He stares at her like shes a piece of food. Just watch out for him okay?" April asked, her hands rubbing together as if she were nervous.

"I think that's the least we could do." Leo said. "She's our friend now, and we protect our friends."

"I guess." I sighed.

April smiled, gave a little nod and left.

Donnie sighed, "April seems to like this girl a lot."

"Mikey does too." I said.

"Well, she doesn't seem bad. Just like a regular teenager."

I got up. "Let's see what she's doing with Mikey." I walked out and into the, what I'm guessing is the living room. The kitchen was connected to the room but what separated the two was a small table.

Mikey was sitting next to Lilly on the floor over by the TV. His eyes were wide with amazement to what Lilly was showing him.

"See, there's a category for everything. Horror movies, TV shows, and my favorite, Anime." She said happily. "This is my list of things I watch."

Mikey smiled, "You watch a lot of Batman."

"Of course. He is my favorite super hero after all." She giggled. Hmm...

For some reason her giggle sounded sort of...never mind.

"What's this?" Mikey asked pointing at the screen.

"Same universe, but this time it's Green Arrow." She explained.

"You really like super heros huh?"

"Oh, love them! Since I don't have a real super hero to save me, why not just believe in these guys." She said with a slight shrug.

I stared at her. She was weird... But not like Donnie weird, like...a good type of weird. I mean, she believed in super heros for christ sake. But I guess its the least you can do when everything in your life has turned for the worst.

"Cool! Hey Donnie, how come we haven't gotten this sooner?" Mikey asked.

"Mikey, before we met April we didn't even know what pizza was."

"Your point?"

Lilly chuckled, "I'll give you guys my password and everything. For whenever you guys get bored. Its no big deal... And who knows, you might find something you like."

Suddenly, a beeping came from her laptop and her eyes widen. "It's Ian!" She yelled. She clicked a button and began to laugh. Ian is her cousin right? I kinda forgot because I didn't really care...

"Mikey, come here." Leo ordered hushly. Mikey quickly came to where Leo was standing.

"Who's Ian?" He asked.

"Shush..."

Everyone eyed Lilly as she giggled and covered her mouth. She seemed so happy.

"Hey babe! What's the matter?" A voice came from the speakers.

"What do you mean 'what's the matter'?" She said, it almost sounded as if she were near tears. Her voice was full of emotion. "I'm happy to see you, Ian..."

"I know... I'm happy to see you too babe."

I saw April walk over to Lilly and sit right next to her. She stared at the screen before smiling. "He's hot."

I laughed when I saw Donnie's expression change from a relaxed one to a horrified one. Ha!

Lilly laughed, "Shut up..." She said giving her a slight, friendly push. "I'm so glad you didn't die."

"Now see, I knew you were going to say that. You always say that whenever we video chat. Thanks for the optimisim dude." Ian shouted.

"Hey, when you're shooting at people and they're shooting back, there is always going to be a possiblility of you getting shot and dying." Lilly said wiping her eyes. "And you are the only person I can't lose..."

April wrapped her arms around her and rubbed her shoulder. "S'ok dude..."

"Don't start crying you baby. I didn't raise you to cry."

Lilly wiped her eyes again, "Yeah yeah, you raised me to fall and get up by myself without shedding a tear."

I leaned over to Leo and whispered, "Should we leave...or something? Because I don't know about you but, I kinda feel awkward right now."

Leo smiled and nodded, "Yeah, we'll drop by another time." He waved over April. After she patted illy's shoulder's and wiped her tears before standing up and coming over to us. "I think we're going to go. She's obviously busy. Do you want us to walk you home?"

April shook her head, "I'm okay here. She might need some comfort or something. I'll walk home when the rain lightens up."

We nodded. For some reason, I was kinda glad that we had an excuse to leave. One, I'm not used to talking to people because, well, all I've never had anybody but my brothers and Sensei...and this type of thing is not easy to get used to. I mean, it took a while to warm up to April, but in the end we all loved her. Maybe Donnie a little more than should be but still... And two, I'm not good in an awkward situation. And having a girl crying about seeing her cousin when he's in whatever stupid war this country is in...yeah, I'm not good at comforting or whatever. Not my thing...

"We'll see you tomorrow April. Um, tell Lilly we said-"

"Wait! We're leaving! No! I wanna stay!" Mikey yelled.

Lilly set her computer down and wiped her eyes, "Hold on Ian..." She got up and came over to us. "I'm sorry you guys. I didn't mean for this to happen. It's just-"

Leo smiled at her, "It's okay. We'll come back, don't worry." He gave her an awkward pat on the shoulder, and chuckled. "Um...we should..."

Mikey wrapped his arms around Lilly's waist, "I don't wanna...!"

Lilly laughed, "You'll see me again. And trust me, it'll be a longer visit."

Mikey pulled away and pouted, "Okay then... Well, I guess we'll see you next time Lil'."

"You will." She smiled. "Pinky promise. If I break that promise, break my pinky."

Mikey frowned, "Well, that sounds a bit harsh. Don't ya think?"

Lilly giggled.

I watched how she stared at Mikey, and I grunted. It bothered me. And it shouldn't have because it's the way April stares at us. But her staring at Mikey like he was a regular person...I don't know how to describe the feeling it gave me. Even though she kind of just met us, she's looking at us like we're...normal.

I attempted to contain my smile, "Come on Mike, let's go." I said, clapping him on the shoulder.

He sighed, and slowly began to walk towards her room. "Fine."

Lilly waved us goodbye, then went back to her laptop. April gave Donnie a hug and then he followed us into her bedroom and out her window.

~Lilly's POV~

I wiped my eyes before going back to my laptop, sitting down with my back against the wall. I grabbed my laptop and placed it on my lap. "Sorry Ian, was just saying goodbye to some friends."

Ian smiling face made me miss him even more than I already do. "It's alright babe. Who's that little chicky you had there sitting next to you? Is that your girlfriend?" He said with a smirk.

I blushed and stared up at April who blushed also. "Ian, we're both straight. I like guys."

"Hey, I love you no matter who date."

"Ian!" I groaned in annoyance.

He laughed, "I'm just kidding sweetie. But hey, I'm glad to see you have a new friend at your new school. And you said you were gonna be a loner. Uh-uh not my girl."

I rolled my eyes, "Okay... So I was wrong. But this time...I'm kinda happy I was wrong."

April stared at me, "Awe..."

I smiled at her.

"I can feel the homo from here guys." Ian blurted.

I sighed, "Really dude?" I said flatly, April held her stomach as she laughed. "I like guys."

Ian laughed, "I know sweetheart I know. I'm just teasing."

"Even if I was gay, mom would certainly have an aneurism and die before I even showed her my girlfriend." I said with a roll of my eyes. My mother always talked about religion and how homosexuals are against gods. She used to be a racist before my dad, or so I've heard. But honestly, how the hell is she even the least bit religious if she's out getting high or drunk, and having sex like- you know what? Never mind...

"Is she still...?"

"Yes. Very. It bugs me a lot."

April came over to us and sat next to me. "Wait, your mom is a homophobic? Well, to be honest, I could've guessed that she hated some type of people."

"Yeah... She's just ignorant." I said with a shrug.

April sighed and made a face as if she were saying 'Great... Another reason why she's a horrible person.'

Yes April...I know. "Well... All we can do it just put up with her until I can move out." I sighed. "And with a little help from my friends, it will go by fast, huh?"

April smiled, and rested her head on my shoulder. "Of course it will."

"Oh man, can you feel the homo?"

"Ian! Shut up!"

Okay so one thing's straight. Um, I don't like the word Emo...but only because it's been used on me as an isult many times. If you call yourself Emo, or like the word...please don't feel offeneded by this or me. Okay? Sorry... I'm not going to pretend like I like it. But again, if you like it, I'm not going to say I don't like you. Because that's just stupid...

Two, I am bi. Not that it's anyone's buisness, but I am and I have a latino mom and grandmother living with me. Those who get it, would understand that most latins are EXTREMELY religious and most of them are really...really homophobic. So I have that problem. And to add onto the worst daughter ever award, I am an Atheist. But like I told my mom and grandma, I don't care, leave me alone. *shrugs* Just feel like saying that...

Anyways, please ignore my misspells and grammer errors...I didn't read over this because I wanted it in as fsat as I could. 0.o That sounded weird... But anyways, please review or favorite if you're shy. Its alright, we all are. Thanks guys...and bye. Sorry for the unnecessary rant...I just don't want to offend anyone. Bye lovelies...
