Newsies going vegetarian:
DAVEY: Does it because of the health benefits
CRUTCHY: Does it because he feels bad for the animals
RACE: Does it because Spot bet him he wouldn't
BLINK: Does it because he wants to try surviving off of his garden
MUSH: Does it because he's friends with Blink
JACK: Goes all out vegan because whatever he does he does to the extreme
SPOT: Doesn't do it, vegetables are rabbit food
Newsies playing B.S (the card game):
Crutchy is absolutely horrible at lying, so he usually doesn't play. But when he does nobody calls B.S on him because Jack would kill them if Crutchy lost. Spot glares at everybody the whole time, and everyone is too scared to call B.S on him. The rest are pretty good at it.
(A/N: these following conversations happened w/ my friends but I'm putting them here because I wanted the paragraph above)
LES: Alright how do you play?
RACE: *explains rules* Now who has the Ace of Spades?
EVERYBODY ELSE: Not me
LES: Uhhh, not me
RACE: You're not supposed to start lying yet
(A/N: Additionally I think Race is definitely dumb/absent-minded enough to do this, but he may know cards too well, I can't make up my mind. If you think somebody else is more likely to do this, please let me know and I can change it.)
SPOT: 2 tens
RACE: Oh, it's me? Oh, um, uh, 2 elevens
