If you were to ask her, Yang Xiao Long definitely missed her sister. However, no matter how many time she was asked, she never had to answer with an ounce of sadness although, if you were to ask some of those who asked, the way her hands clutched at her heart seemed to tell otherwise.

If you were to ask Taiyang Xiao Long, of course he missed his first born, but he would never be able to deny the fact that he is proud of her accomplishments told by the general populace. Although some say that when asked on the whereabouts of his daughter, he would sometimes seek out his youngest daughter and exchange a silent question unknown to the public followed by the same answer "She's out there and continues to make me proud with each news of her latest fights."

That is the last thing he told the media outside his house before chasing them away. Exhausted, he let himself drop on his couch and gave his eyes some well deserved rest. At least, that would have been the case if his blonde daughter had not interrupted this moment.

"Persistent as ever I'm guessing?" she asked before sitting besides him, laying her head on his shoulder.

"Well you know how they get when they hear news about her." He mumbled his exhaustion getting the best of him. Nonetheless, he turned his head towards her and asked.

"How is she by the way?" Wasting no time, Yang reached around her neck and tugged on the necklace she was wearing, pulling out from her cleavage, a device shaped like her sister's emblem which had a calming glow to it.

"She's doing fine. At least, as fine as I can tell from this."

He chuckled before laying one arm around her shoulders. "You gotta wonder how they keep hearing all of these things so quickly." He said, referring to the massive number of reporters that keep coming to their home. "Good thing you never had to deal with them."

She sat up and turned toward him. "Well at least we know that this works properly." Motioning to the device which was emitting a soft and relaxing hum. Eyeing it, he gains this relieved look on his face before asking. "She's really coming home, isn't she?"

Yang gave him a tender smile before answering "Yeah she is. After 5 whole years." The Xiao Long patriarch eyes turned sad. "I don't even know how she looks like after all this time."

His daughter stared at him before a cocky smile adorned her face. "Well to be honest, almost no one does. All they have is descriptions from different witnesses."

He sent her a playful glare before realization struck him. "Oh yeah! didn't you want to get her something for this occasion?"

Anxiety overtook her expression before she bolted towards the door grabbing her leather jacket along the way. "Dang it! Sorry dad I gotta go, love you!" As she was about to exit she was stopped by her father. "Hey Sunny little dragon? you might want to pick up your wallet before going out."

She glanced towards the diner table that he was motioning with his finger. "oh, uh right!" Quickly picking the object and tucking it in her shorts, she went on her way towards town in search of a 'welcome back' gift to her sister.

--

The Sun had already set when she entered a shop called 'From Dust Till Dawn' having searched through all kinds of establishment in a panic.

"Okay she probably doesn't have her own place considering the fact that she's been sighted all around Remnant so not getting anything from that decoration shop was a good call, you go yang!" The blond thought to herself before nodding towards the shop keeper who mimicked her action.

"Clothes are out of the question too since I have no idea how she looks like nor her... uh 'size'." She blushed at the thought. The last time she saw her big sister, she has no shame of admitting that said sister's size was fairly good, not as good as the blonde's current size but still enjoyable to look at.

"NOT THAT I DID!" She corrected herself, her face as red as the cloak owned by her sister that she TOTALLY does not keep with her when she goes to bed. This aside, the point is that maybe her sister's breasts are now bigger than they used to be!

"There I said it!" Now her last hope rested in the fact that maybe her sister needed or at the very least would appreciate combat supplies or modifications for her weapon.

However, one problem came with this: "Why are there so many different pieces!?" Yes, unlike what Yang had thought at first, the components of her weapon are vastly different than the ones needed for her sister's.

Glancing at the humming device between her breasts, she closed her eyes in slight panic and frustration. "Come on what would make her say 'wow Yang you're the best little sister in the world! you want a kiss?" Opening them back up in shock at the thought she had in public, they got caught on a sign attached on a basket with a singular part in it. Said sign had the words 'New and improved!' written on it.

"Perfect! There's no way she has that if it's new!" She grabbed the piece and turned around heading for the clerk or at least she would have if there wasn't some thug looking guy that was standing behind her. Her eyes widening in surprise at his sudden appearance and him, surprised at the fact that this blond bombshell had not heard him as he asked her to turn around, twice!

"Woah there big guy! Sorry about that, didn't mean to almost run into you." She could not see his eyes, but she definitely saw his brows frown.

"Now listen here blondie I got no time for whatever game you think this is." He shoved a silenced handgun he was apparently wielding closer to her.

"Now hand over your wallet or I'll have to get-" he glanced downwards then back up clearly looking at her body. "-creative." Yang's expression turned... less than pleased.

The other thugs and their leader then froze when they heard the clear sound of someone getting punched on one side of the store followed by the sound of broken glass on the other. They all turned their heads and saw the blond young adult in a punching stance, smoke coming out of her extended fist. A ginger haired man wearing a black bowler-hat and a white suit with long black pants wielding a cane took a cigar out of his mouth before glancing at his henchmen.

"Well? get her!" Seeing that she was going to cause too much damage if she stayed, Yang lunged at the nearest thug and sent him and herself outside the store. "two down, three to go." She stepped on the recently down man rested an arm on her knee and smirked.

"What's wrong boys? Can't last against one girl?" That seemed to do the trick since the three remaining thugs ran out of the store attempting to gang on her. The blond kicked the first one directly on his stomach sending him backwards to crash on the second one. She felt an impact behind her head which was cushioned by her aura. This angered her, triggering her semblance and giving a slight strength boost to the punch she threw right on the side of his jaw.

She heard someone grumble behind her. Turning around, she saw the ginger haired man point his cane at her.

"Well it was a pleasure meeting you sweetheart but looks like this is where we part ways." The bottom of his can then opened and a sight came out. Yang's eyes widened before ducking away from the incoming fire. Once she recovered, she noticed that the man disappeared on to notice him climbing a ladder on the adjacent building.

She glanced at the store clerk. "Need me to stay or can I go beat that guy's ass?" He shook his head and ducked underneath the counter. Nodding, she was about to climb the building herself before she remembered something. "Oh right!" Rushing towards the counter, she got her wallet out and dropped a couple of liens. "That should be enough to pay for the piece I wanted to buy. Thanks!"

Having done what she had to, Yang used her gauntlets, Ember Celica, to boost herself onto the building where she saw the crime boss about to enter a Bullhead. Hearing the shot of the gauntlets, he turned around and gained an annoyed expression when he saw her. He climbed aboard the aircraft and threw a red dust crystal towards her.

"End of the line Blondie!" Taking aim with his cane, he fired. Seeing as she couldn't dodge something like that, the brawler crossed her arms hoping to block as much of the impact as she could.

Back at the store, boots could be heard stepping on broken glass accompanied by an impressed whistle. Once near the counter, they leaned in and gave the clerk a warm smile.

"I'm really sorry about what seemed to have happened here," they took out a piece of paper with weapon parts information on it. "but do you by any chance have this part? Mine got damaged on the way here." The old man's gaze met the inviting one of the stranger, resulting in a slight blush on his end, before reading the paper he was given.

"You have to excuse me," he said downcast "but the last of the part you're looking for was sold to the young girl who defended my store." The new client was disappointed at first, but quickly beamed a bright smile to man, intensifying the redness on his face. they then slowly walked out, stepping on some of the thugs on the ground, and glanced at the events on the rooftop which now involved two blond women and a fleeing airship.

"Oh, don't worry about it. It's not your fault, I'll come back later." The clerk notice that the stranger's eyes softened, and nostalgic smile graced their face before a question popped in his mind. "Excuse me, miss? I do not want to be rude, but may I know your name? I could make an order for the part if you want?"

Back on the rooftop, Yang had a first-class seat to watch a huntress not only defend her from the blast, but also attack the bullhead that in the end, got away. Not noticing the frown on the woman's face, the brawler ran up to her. "You're a huntress, right?" Not waiting for a response, she followed with "Have you seen my sister?" This in turn intrigued the huntress who asked, "What is her name?"

As if intended by the gods, almost the same words were uttered by a lilac eyed blond woman and a silver eyed one at the same time. "Ruby Rose sir/ma'am."
